    Fantastic hotel. I highly recommend staying here. Location is nice and quiet. The breakfast is amazing they even had fresh fruit such as blueberries, strawberries and grapes.

    The staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was average for a hotel. The room suite was very spacious and the bathroom was also very spacious. My travel plans were delayed, so I tried calling the phone number for the hotel to change the name on the (2) rooms I booked and I was put on hold for 30 minutes just to find out that I needed to contact Booking.com. Other than that, our stay was great!

    I have family nearby in Naperville. It's nice to have a little home away from home at Hyatt House. Fanta, at the front desk is one of our favorite employees. One issue is that the suite rooms have blackout curtains but a separate window with blinds that I can't get dark enough for the morning if I want to sleep in.

    It was really nice having a small kitchen and seperated sleeping space. The sliding barn door on the bathroom did not provide any privacy. The bed mattress was extremely soft and the pull-out mattress on the sofa sleeper was awful. The complimentary breakfast was excellent.

    The property was walking mean to pets.But sadly, there was a lot of people that did not pick up after their dogs outside. I've seen someone that works for the hotel cleaning it up and not the actual guest. Breakfast was constantly replenished and fresh. The only thing missing was coffee was only in the morning.Usually, other hotels have a coffee and tea and hot chocolate bar set up for anyone.

    I mean the stove worked Everything was in someway janky. Had to wiggle the shower for it to come out strong. No lighting over the oven could really see, and only 1 key card worked out of two. Was charged twice and still hasn’t been worked out and it is me and my wife’s anniversary…definitely will not be staying here again.

    Everytime I flushed the toilet I would have to take the lid off and play with the handle to get the tank to fill up with water in order to flush again. The breakfast is trash. The coffee was warm NOT HOT!

    Breakfast not edible, plastic rubbery food, don’t bother. Continued deteriorating condition, mattresses sagging. Mold all around windows. But front desk helped me get room as requested. They don’t read the messages sent using their site about rooms. Placed noisy kids, screaming up and down halls, people with dogs and cats though guests have allergies and allow pot smoking and vaping. Disgusting! Didn’t use maid service because they yell at each other from down the hallway, no service makes it quieter. The staff know all these issues, it’s just not being upgraded. New hotel being built, so it will be noisy construction for a bit. Used to be a nicer place to stay. Needs some help.

    If a good night's sleep and a strong, hot shower are your priorities, then this is your extended stay place. If you're wanting a fresh, tasty free breakfast, you better stick to a bagel or yogurt. The staff are absolutely amazing though! The heated pool is not as heated as adult swimming provides, it's heated enough for kids to swim because they don't care. The grounds around the building were covered with dog poop and cigarette butts. Also, we didn’t know there was a Hyatt Place next door. We didn’t need a kitchen and living space for our visit but didn’t see this option when googling places to stay. We were disappointed overall, the Hyatt name had us expecting better quality.

    I reserved Hyatt House because they were listed as being pet friendly. Upon check in I was told there would be an extra cleaning charge for my two dogs....as much as the one night stay. I was not informed about this ahead of time and it was quite upsetting. The front desk person ultimately reduced it by half however, for what amounted to a 12 hour stay, such a charge is unwarranted and unwelcome. I will have to consider other options that ask for a pet deposit that is refunded when there is no pet mess.

    There’s a leaking water fire extinguisher on the first floor, dripping down the center of the hallway. Closed captions didn’t work on tv, and I need them to watch it. Service man couldn’t fix. Blinds in one window had a huge gap so darkness wasn’t possible at night. The darkening curtain doesn’t have a lever, so I had to grab it and push it back with my hands. So gross. STAFF WAS EXCELLENT. KITCHEN AMENITIES ARE GREAT. But be careful when pouring the coffee carafe, as it will drip and burn skin because it pours all over. I got burnt. Most of the towels were used to stop the water from flowing all over the bathroom, due to the floor not directing it towards the drain. And I was careful! There’s a beeping that was going off periodically. Could’ve been the fire alarm. Will call the desk about that today. I travel with my small dog, so I can handle stress, but this hotel didn’t alleviate any from my stay. I expected better.

    My room was not ready when I arrived, I was told by the front desk person that it would be ready in 15 minutes, after 30 mins I spoke to a different frint desk associate named Shasta who was not only so apologetic and professional but went above and beyond to get me into a room and made every accommodation she had to, to make up for the inconvenience. She was a friendly face, cheerful and had a great attitude on a very crazy busy weekend. Shasta is truly an asset to the front desk and I hope to see her when I return next month!

    Long story short... they used the same sheet for over a week... didn't clean the bathroom just left new sets of towels. Breakfast was another story... nothing fancy. Cold. Liquidy eggs. Coffee was cold. The area around the indoor pool was always freezing cold. Another word, if you are looking for a hotel to stay for over a few days... this might not be it. We had rented 2 rooms and if i had known what i know now I would definitely search elsewhere.

    The following morning I was horrified to find the filthy room we were given. I immediately notified the front desk, but it took 2 days for Kevin Serio Operation Manager to get back to me to change my room. In the meantime, I was force to clean the room myself. This was completely unacceptable. When I shared photos with Hyatt management, he assured me he would take 2 days off room but would need to contact Expedia since we booked through a third party. Despite my ongoing efforts to get this refund, Kevin Serio remains unavailable and full of excuses why he has not made good on this promises. Meanwhile you can find him hanging out the front door smoking with others. Sure wish I took that photo. (photo’s will not attach below)

    Property was above and beyond the price point. Staff was always responsive and welcoming . Room was immaculately clean. Full kitchen with everything you need to cook and eat in the room. Breakfast always has eggs, protein in addition to cereal, bread, fresh berries, etc. Would definitely return when in the area, chefs kiss Hyatt House!!!!!!

    Booked last minute, upon check-in noticed a few sketchy looking inebriated individuals in and around the hotel lobby. I advised the manager on duty that I was not comfortable staying there, and he said he would be more than willing to refund my money, but because I booked the room through Hotels.com, his hands were tied. Once I got to the room, the heat did not work in sub freezing Chicago temps. They tried their best to accommodate me in the late night hours. If it weren’t for the stellar customer service, I would’ve given a lower rating and probably not have returned.

    This Property is beautiful and clean there staff are all nice and professional what disappointed me was the breakfast and coffee. They boiled egg came cold also there was less option for food like no cheese slices only bacon. i could only eat the mashed eggs and they coffee tasted cheap also cold but they room for living was excellent. i would recommend that.

    Staying at Hyatt has been so far a great experience and this one wasn't different except this was an Hyatt House. Great staffs both at the front desk as well as the breakfast area, decent American breakfast served daily with fruits. Since it was equipped with a kitchen, it was convenient for a longer stay though we had friends around the corner. Great city in Illinois and an hour drive on avg. from Chicago.

We tried to speak with the manager Kevin Serio a couple of times, but he was never available. No hot water, dishwasher didn't work, the mattress had broken coils, no room service, no blackout curtains.... what a nightmare.

    There are some updates needed in the entire hotel. Main lobby, elevator and rooms. Staff was friendly but barely said hello or paid attention to the guests unless they were asked a question. Sitting around on their phones. Breakfast was ok but was bigger/better in years past when we had stayed. Cleaning service was suppose to “freshen up” every two days and on the third day of no service we asked the cleaning crew in the hallway if they could stop by and change out our towels and garbages that were overflowing. There needs to be more training on the guest experience.

    We have stayed here for over 10 years and have seen the staff change and the amenties..things are going downhill,plastic silverware, paper plates..no staff making fresh omelets. The staff hat checked us in was great...the blonde who was at the desk in the late afternoon and evening was on her phone, not caring that I was standing in front of her for service,then when she did speak she was very rude. I asked her for directions(I dont know the area) she said she couldnt give me directions..(the restarant was just a few minutes away). She was there last year when we stayed and this time was worse. Management needs to do something about her attitude. Please run the shower and see if it is still leaking!

    The breakfast buffet is skimpier than it used to be (I miss the omelet station) but Jamie was very friendly and attentive, keeping it clean and replenished. Parking lot was being repaved but that did not inconvenience us and it's nice to know the place is being maintained, tho it's showing some wear over the 5 or 6 year period that we've been staying there. Water pressure a bit low and water temp variable. Housekeeping was fine. We like the convenience of Super Target and restaurants nearby, also easy to visit Cantigny or Morton Arboretum.

    I booked a stay at HYATT HOUSE expecting a relaxing getaway, but I ended up checking out earlier than planned because the experience was simply unbearable. Room Was Unacceptable: Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed it wasn’t properly cleaned. I experienced severe itching as soon as I got into bed. The linens felt rough and seemed unclean. I couldn’t sleep comfortably knowing the room was in such an unhygienic state. Immediately left the hotel after staying there for a couple of hours. I had no choice but to leave early. I would rather cut my trip short than stay in such unsanitary conditions. The hotel staff didn’t offer an apology or any compensation for the issues, which made the experience even worse. I strongly advise avoiding this hotel if you value cleanliness and comfort. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve had, and I would never return.

    Biggest cons: Ants on my muffins, and wrong room. They gave me the wrong room. I needed a wheelchair accessible room, which i confirmed I was getting, but it wasnt accessible. They blamed Expedia, Expedia blamed the hotel. Thankfully I didn't have a great need for my wheelchair that weekend. If my legs were bad, I wouldnt have been able to get around the room or into the shower. as for the ants... I brought a 4 pack of muffins in case the breakfast was bad or not filling. We went out for the day and there were ants all over them and some on the counter when we got back, had to throw them out and hide our other snacks in the fridge so the ants wouldnt get them

    It was nice to have the kitchen in the room, asked for an upgrade but was unavailable, not a prob. Breakfast was Great and the guy that works in there was good to talk to everyday and is very helpful! Beds were ok to good. Very convenient location and coffee in the lobby daily was a hit for me.

    Upon check in I was given a room type that was not the same that I had booked and paid for. Upon showing the booking the front desk staff was able to help changed my room closer to other family members! It is a nice hotel and this was my second stay. I would stay here again when I visit Chicago again!!

    The hotel itself was in good condition. Very clean and convenient. My stay was for 3 nights and I had 2 reservation covering the 3 nights. On the night of check in, the front desk staff cancelled my 2nd reservation and I had to deal with hotels.com to rebook it. I had to waste 2-3 hours on the phone to sort this out even though it was not my mistake.

    We ran out of TP, paper towels, and clean towels, had to approach the maid directly. Decorator was color blind. The bathroom floor tiles were quite poorly laid and it needed caulking by the shower. Couch fabric was scratchy and had no arms. The bathroom sink drain was slow, and toilet was too. But the bed was really comfortable, we liked the layout and the kitchen, and the look of the hotel common areas and the location. It was so cool to be able to move the TV 180 degrees to face either the bed or the couch.

    The condition of our room wasn't great. Shabby is the best way I can describe it. There were significant signs of wear and what appeared to be poor attempts at repairing and/or covering them up. The staff was just ok sometimes seeming to treat the hotel like their own home (smoking just outside the front door, walking around the lobby, and carrying on casual personal conversations with each other in loud voices, etc.) In general, it wasn't that big a deal but I expected better from a Hyatt in one of the ritzier suburbs of Chicago.

    Great staff I had an concern with another guest whom said me and my guest were being loud but she also had a dog that was barking abruptly anytime you would walk in tha hall or it heard someone or something but I had no problem and we were laughing and playing uno cooking also but we handled it like mature adults but was still disturbed by the act but I loved the room and staff will definitely be back sometime soon

    Room was nice. Did take a long time to get hot water through the shower the first night (at least 4 minutes of running it before I could get in because it was too cold). Was really quiet the first night but the second night there were a lot door slams happening all throughout the night.
