Staff was really friendly and helpful Larry was really helpful from the time of our arrival until we checked out.

All around excellent stay with phenomenal staff! Each giving 100% with every encounter we have had. A very quiet and safe environment extremely professionally ran.

Well to start with there was no one there to check me in and there was a note to call a cell # and the phone was sitting on the desk how is that a convivence sat there for 20 mins before anyone showed up. then the tv in the room sucked couldnt change channels and no one at the desk to answer the phone the blinds were broken. there was no coffee pot or even a breakfast like most hotels, And then someone decided to pee in the elevator and again no one in the office to tell about the mess

Seem to have a lot of unhoused clientele with their dogs.
- 1/5
The staff was unprofessional but helpful. The room was very dirty, if we didn’t just drive 15 hours, we would have left. I regret showering there. Tub didn’t drain, walls were dirty.
- 5/5
My husband and I are waiting on our apartment to become ready and what a OUTSTANDING stay we had here. The staff is well trained very knowledgeable to the hotel and its surroundings! Our favorite employee other than the phenomenal manager, Dixie is Larry! His smile is contagious. He’s always kind and very accommodating. Customer service is exactly where he needs to be in a career field.. Dixie the manager is just fantastic at what she does and how she does it! Highly recommend!
- 5/5
What a phenomenal place with well trained staff and most accommodating! The manager Dixie stands out with her love for the property and ability to screen guests making it a very safe place to stay! Was amazed by how well it was run and kept!

I really like it here. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the guests were very nice as well. I would continue staying here but they have a no cats policy.

The property is very old. There were cigarette burns on the sink and bathtub that have to be from 20+ years ago when smoking in a room was still permitted. I checked in very late and the staff was accommodating and I did get into my room. It was clean. There was no signage about WiFi being available or anything, nor anything describing amenities. The building is not marked "Suburban Studios" so was difficult to know I was there. For after hours there is a note on the side of the building with the number to call and it was barely legible. I had to shine my light on it and guess at 2 of the numbers. Parking lot was full, so it was difficult to find a spot to park. It was a busy weekend. Again, the strengths were the people working there, but the facility is old, tired, and not very appealing to the eye. Lots of dope smoking outside so the clientele is what it is.

Clean safe and beyond when it comes to professionalism ,knowledge about surroundings in general area. Very present and engaged at any encounter! I will definitely return no where else but here. The Manager is phenomenal with her people, skills and ability. To make you feel very welcomed and valued us being there! Her staff are well dressed extremely respectful, kind, with a positive can do energy and attitude! It was an excellent stay that are working hard at all they do and I as a consumer appreciate and respect that! Thank you! Sherri Cutshaw

Good location for what I was doing. The 1st room they gave me smelled horrible and the tv didn't work. I asked for another room and it wasn't much better. The blinds were hung up side down and broke, so I couldn't close them, the toilet wouldn't flush half the time, the walls were so thin that I could hear every conversation the women next door were having, and they were having them at 2,3,4 in the morning. I just sucked it up after I switched rooms, but I won't stay there again.

They are very very professional here. And they are on top of everything. They make sure you got what you need & make your stay more comfortable.
- 4/5
Love the rooms are basically like studios for rent equipped with a stove and microwave and pretty much a mini kitchen! Only thing missing was the food haha but also love the fact that they are pretty much the ONLY motel that still accepts cash as a payment The location is rather sketch but that would be it
- 1/5
Did not stay. Took one look at room, which was nothing like the pictures, and went to front desk to see if I could cancel. I called hotels. Com who then called Surburban Suites. The hotel told me they okayed cancellation, but I was still charged even though we didn’t stay and I had Two rooms booked. TERRIBLE
- 4/5
Half of the Staff are rude but overall management and employees are decent. They are willing to work with people as long as you communicate

There was dog feces through out the hall tracked in and not cleaned up! DISCUSTING!! Nothing was right with dog feces tracked through out!
- 4/5
My stay was enjoyable. The room was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. I did find 2 roaches and 1 cricket in my room during my week there. I told this to staff and they said they had just increased the pest control regimen. I believe that, so things should be better soon. I'll also include that there were a few nights when there was significant noise after hours. For instance, a small child *wailing* outside my window at 3:30 a.m., and its parent scolding it for the same. Horrible.

They have a lot of roaches and mouse traps everywhere. Had 6 mouse traps in my room and roaches kept getting in my food.

Had to fix my own shower. No internet or TV for a whole week and room cockroaches so late I guess

Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND Suburban Studios. Right from check-in, things seemed off. Immediately upon entering our room, we were hit with an unbearable stench of stale smoke & body odor. To say the horrible smell was strong is an understatement. We then continue in the room to see there were no bedspreads atop the old brown blankets (one with a burn hole in it) & no shower curtain. After resting a bit, the odor was still extremely present & unpleasant. We went to dinner & returned to several questionable guests (which we learned were actually residents who live there) gathered outside smoking, twitching, slurring racial words & obscenities. We felt uneasy & unsure of what this property was housing. We addressed our issues with the night shift clerk. She was kind & helpful, trying to remedy the situation. As many more unkept "guests" came & went, it's let known to us that this property houses several homeless people, as a local org. pays for their stays - this tidbit of info is not disclosed to guests, mind you. VERY unacceptable & unsafe. The clerk offered us a new room & allowed us to view it. We stepped into the alt. room & immediately stenched with even stronger odor of stale smoke than our current room. By 7:30 p.m., we had reached our peak with all of these contributing factors & did not feel comfortable or safe staying at this property any longer. Checked out after a total of four hours. This property should NOT be offered as a hotel. Beyond unacceptable & not reputable.
- 4/5
The staff was great!

NO kitchen was not fully stocked. Had to ask for a burner ac work good
- 1/5
While this property says it has designated smoking areas it seems it does not. My next door neighbor flooded my room with pot smoke. He was smoking 8 feet outside my door. I do know when this area it is a huge population of pot smokers however I picked this place because they said that they had designated smoking areas. I didn't realize that it was right outside each inhabitants door. So it affects everyone around them.
- 3/5
I like the staff very helpful but it could cleaned better
- 3/5
Hotel is affordable, comfortable and well-maintained with one exception. Witnessed guest publicly berated by staff.
- 5/5
My Only Issue Was The Fact That There Were Several Dogs Not On Leashes. Im Not Sure If There Is A Rule About Leashes As My Dog Always Has A Harness and Leash On When Outside The Room. With That Being Said, If There Isnt A Leash Rule, I Whole-heartedly Believe There Should Be One or NEEDS Enforced. My Dog Is Friendly, However She Is An Abuse Rescue and Is Old and Can Be Very Temperamental. Had Several Dogs Run Up On Her and Then Their Owners Get Mad When I Would Say Something. My Dog Is Kept Away From Strangers and Strange Dogs For This Reason. As Far As The Motel Goes... DEFINITELY Recommend It. BEST Place To Stay
- 1/5
This place is very misleading. The property and the people treat this place like a halfway house. Would never recommend anyone stay here unless they’re into recovering junkies living next door and blast music.
- 4/5
It was a good stay staff was awesome

Employees are super unprofessional I caught my child father and their employee, treye having sexual relations and because I found out about there dirty little secret he had me kicked out full roaches disgusting women beware loser employees will take ur man and give u roach catchers to fix the bug problem
- 1/5
Nasty & the worst place you could possibly stay.
- 2/5
Bugs in my room no help just handed bug traps
- 4/5
Had difficulty checking in due to no staff and then when staff arrived there was an issue with Expedia not sending over my payment. The men I encountered working there were all amazing, accommodating, and nice. The building itself looked like it was being restored but was in good shape. Our room was interesting. I had reserved two kings but since it was through Expedia they weren’t available so two doubles is what I got which was fine. There wasn’t a coffee maker, also fine, just odd. The room was clean enough though we did find one roach. The other people that were staying there were kind of… sus. We didn’t have any issues with other tenants but we could definitely smell marijuana was being smoked, no big deal for us just fyi. Staff only turns down the rooms once a week so we had to make sure to request new towels. Also we bought a swiffer mop because our room floor looked and smelled clean but left our socks black.
- 1/5
Was checked into a room that was already occupied with a half naked women inside WHO BECAME LIVID AND STARTED SCREAMING AT US... The ceilings were leaking.. the hotel smelled really bad.. the window shades didn't cover the windows all the way "very very ghetto" the elevator felt like 110°.. the walls were filthy.. dogs barking all night long THIS STAY WAS HORRIBLE!
- 1/5
Right on check in I was told wi-fi was down indefinitely. At first it seemed not a terrible problem until I needed a project done by the next morning instead of after the weekend. I had to find another hotel and left right away after receiving a message from my management, and they still wouldn’t give me a refund. To top it off, there were several people loitering around the hotel when I got there and when I was in the elevator on arrival there was ashes on the floor inside and a very heavy smell of marijuana.
- 1/5
The only good interaction during the stay was the check in. Water was cut off one morning with no warning. Someone upstairs was stomping back and forth on purpose and no one cared. One of the front desk guys has a bad attitude. He acted like he was pissed off at me before I even spoke to him the first time. No working TV. The rooms are nice for now, but they could deteriorate very quickly due to lack of care.

It SUCKED! It Seemed Like Practically Every Guest Had A Pet. Rooms Are Filthy and Damaged. I Booked My Stay For 7 Days and Couldn't Stand It! ItvWas So Bad I Checked Out 1 Day Early and Had To Eat The Cost For The Room. People Were Smocking Right Outside The Main Entrance Daily and A Consistant Oder Of Prt Urine and Marajuana Reaked In The Halls and Stairwell.. The Uptown Suites Is Literally A two Minite Drive Away and A 100% Improvement.
- 1/5
Extremely dirty and no service. I stayed for two months and had no towels replaced once. Same with the sheets. Had to do my own laundry.
- 1/5
The had cockroaches crawling on the walls and had me on the 4th floor and the elevator was not working.
- 1/5
The priduct pictures appear to be of the new and unused hotel room - ckean and inviting. In reality the room had hiles in the wall, some repaired others not. Missing wall art, missing weather stripping around the tub, buckled towel rack (hidden by fresh towels). Beyond the room itself the property appears to he a den of drug activity. Most hallway encounters were pleasant, but some clientele were disruptive. Overall the experience was shocking and scary.
- 1/5
Hotel smells like dog and very dirty
- 3/5
Decent for the price. New bedding is needed. Clean enough. Lacking shelving space, nothing but beds and a desk chair. Requests are handled fairly quick
- 5/5

- 1/5
The hotel is disgusting! Smells so strongly of cat urine in the hallways, it burns your eyes. The current guests were less than desirable. I felt very unsafe. I checked in and immediately canceled my stay and requested a full refund. I was told they would refund 3 of my 4 nights. Better then nothing i guess!

It was completely dirty cabinets falling off bed falling apart they gave a key to my room to a random person in the middle of the night definitely not a good experience
- 3/5
Sucked roaches
- 3/5
Completely honest, the property smelled like a dirty casino from Vegas. The cigarette smell was awful and the rooms were stinky as well. The A/C worked so that’s a plus and the keys made it “safe” but not really. Definitely a cheap place to stay as of a last minute booking. Not booking here again but it works for a quick, cheap stay.
- 4/5
Attentive Staff and a concerned manager Dixie.
- 1/5
Words do not exist for how disgusting and unsafe this whole propety is for anyone, Do not stay here!
- 2/5
Very dirty and smelly. The front door locked me out after 9pm and I was lucky to get back in the building
- 1/5
Called cops Now my car keys are locked in the office til 10am
- 4/5
Checked in 10pm, room was not ready ( had not been cleaned. They serviced the room while I waited. There was no toilet paper and no soap or anything.
- 4/5
Great value, amazing staff, started here many times, it’s always a good experience!
- 5/5
A fella in the front desk was the reason my stay was the best he was chill I asked for location was always helpful anything I needed he didn’t hesitate to make sure I was comfortable with my stay dude with glasses big Denver fan chill fella
- 1/5
This was the worst place I have ever stayed in. The pictures on this site are deceiving. Homeless and junkies hanging out on the property. Do not bring kids to this place. This is like a dump for drugs. Shame on Expedia for having this place on their site.
- 1/5
Believe the bad reviews this place was nasty! My room had vinyl floors and my feet were black within a few minutes of walking around without my shoes. My door didn’t latch all the way so I had to Jerry rig it closed. There were homeless people all over the place. If you have the money stay somewhere else!
- 4/5
It was roomy, beds a little uncomfy, but no complaints.
- 1/5
Terrible, was not given the room i reserved. They tried to say that was the one i reserved. After i proved to the guy and showed him my reservation. He said they were booked and could not help. Room was a double bed, had black mold , and was not very clean. It smelled liked mold. The customer service was horrible. Will not stya at this hotel again.
- 1/5
We were checked into a non-smoking room, but our room reeked of cigarettes the whole 10 days we were staying. The room was very dirty, especially the mattress. Everything seemed to be damp as well and nothing ever dried. The hotel itself was pretty sketchy the only redeeming quality about this hotel is that it’s in a nice area.
- 1/5
Horrible. Floor was sticky, tub was dirty, microwave was filthy, tv did not work.
- 1/5
I showed up with my 19-year-old daughter, and it felt very unsafe. Several guests were roaming the halls and were sketchy. They kept gawking at my daughter and we immediately felt nervous about staying overnight there even before we saw the room. When we got to the room we were even more disappointed. The pictures are not what you get in the room. Our room had hair on the beds and bathroom and smelled horrible. The whole hotel smelled like smoke. Needless to say, we did not stay there. We promptly checked out after about ten minutes in the room and went down the street a bit to the Comfort Inn. It was much cleaner and felt safer. However, we were supposed to stay at the Suburban for five nights, and we are still trying to connect with the manager to have the money refunded. He has not returned any of our calls. The rest of the front desk staff has been very understanding and courteous. They do not have the ability to cancel it without management approval.
- 5/5
The only thing that would have made it better is if there was a stove in the units. However, everyone was kind and helpful.
- 5/5
Everything was fine
- 1/5
Upon arrival we observed that there was what appeared to be blood splatter all over the wall, headboard and painting on the wall. When we tried to see if it may have been a stain or scuff mark it came right off showing the room wasn't cleaned properly. Also when the bed was moved out just a little to plug in a charger behind it we observed that there was trash, and debris on the floor under the bed. The floor was not swept or mopped either when walking on the floor it made our feet literally black. My wife put on clean socks after her shower and they were instantly dirty from the floor.
- 3/5
The front desk staff is very nice and helpful unfortunately my room was super dirty. The floors were sticky in something and there was no lightbulbs when I arrived lol had to ask the front staff for some because the kitchen light is convenient but I like to see next to where I sleep. There was dried blood on the wall and tv , the tub was black from not being scrubbed. Someone randomly during the night knocked hard on my door, I get it if it was a kid playing around but if a grown adult running around knocking on random peoples doors idk how to perceive it lmao. Other than that I cleaned up the room and the staff was super friendly.
- 4/5
Clean and quite.
- 1/5
I booked this hotel online for a Monday-Wednesday then immediately called the front desk and asked them to note that I would be arriving at 2am on Tuesday morning and that my booking should not be cancelled. I was taking a red eye into Colorado and wanted to be sure I would have a room when I landed. They told me they noted it in my reservation and then I called again on the night I was going to arrive and they confirmed my reso was still in tact. When I arrived at the hotel at 2am, the lobby door was locked and no one was at the front desk. I used the hotel phone in the foyer and called the help line and after many rings an obviously asleep hotel employee answered and told me she couldn't check me in because it was late and her computer wouldnt work. I argued with her a bit and when she agreed to come down, I then called the corporate number again and told them that I was expecting to be turned away. The SAME lady I had spoken to earlier told me my reso had been cancelled since I checked in so late. They refused to give me a room and I had to drive around Denver at 230 in the morning trying desperately to find a hotel that had room. Then they blamed it on expedia and it took awhile for them to reimburse me. HORRIBLE.
- 1/5
Horrible felt like a homeless shelter it smelled Horrible had a bad vibe all the way around front entrance wqs boarded up the whole time i was there "2 weeks". The first room i was put in smelled like cigarettes and dirty feet the carpet was very nasty the people there shouldn't be allowed to live there for 10 years. I traded rooms for a cleaner room but this one had a pile of sheet rock under sink and black mold growing under shower head. I do not recommend this place at all unless your homless and need to take a shower.
- 3/5
Overall experience was 5/10. This is a good option if you are looking for something cheap and easy but I would not recommend this hotel for a family or any female. The service was descent in that they got the job done but don’t do not expect over the top catering
- 2/5
Unsafe environment, strange/unstable people, drug paraphernalia
- 1/5
Dirty, smelly rooms and the place itself looks like it’s being used by drug addicts and such. It feels gross. I was too tired to find another place, but left early as soon as I woke up. Lost money on 1 night stay.
- 5/5
I realize that this is a hotel where disadvantaged families live for months on end. It really is not the type of hotel that I want to stay in, even for a short while. Plus...the TV didn't work and we'd need to contact maintenance or whatever in the morning and by morning, we'd be long gone. Waste baskets..needed more than one. No hangers in the closet, no chair. I know the price was cheap for a big city hotel but both my daughter and I just felt dirty leaving the hotel in the morning. We learned to stay away from extended-stay hotels.
- 1/5
The air conditioner did not work and the bathtub was absolutely disgusting.
- 5/5
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pillows were substantial. The towels were big. The front desk people were very friendly. As an extended stay, there were a lot of people milling around, but not bothersome. It could use a deep clean in the community areas. Acceptable for a budget property. Would stay again.
- 1/5
Too many homeless and sketchy people hanging outside hotel
- 3/5
Homeless person tried to mug me walking into hotel late at night. There was security but on other side of building dealing with another individual.
- 1/5
I will NEVER stay there or even go there again…EVER….. this place was horrible!!!! After driving 15hrs. We pull up and the whole front window is boarded up with spray paint saying we’re open. There was a homeless guy sleeping next to the boarded up window. Go in thinking it may not be that bad…… was then told it was an additional $100 deposit on top of what I was quoted. The room was horrible our door was open when we went in. The smell of weed and food were overwhelming. The bed has stains on it. My boyfriend who has asthma couldn’t breathe. Went down to tell them we weren’t staying there. Explained my boyfriend couldn’t breathe. She refunded the deposit and said she would have her manager call me the next day. We’ll fast forward 4 days and I still haven’t heard from her. Got back home and called. She was the one who answered. Said she couldn’t do anything but never had any intention of calling me back. Said a different manner would call me by the end of today……
- 4/5
Staff was great. Everytime I stay here is usually spur of the moment from it just getting too late to make the journey. Every time I have stayed 1 month or 2 months apart and randomly. The lady and her son always remember me like it was yesterday because of a printer issue they were having one night and she couldn’t print off the things they needed a signature for and she could tell I was super tired and told go to bed I’ll slide it under your door when I get it fixed. She did and didn’t bother me at all. I just brought it back when I checked out. Super nice staff. The hotel its self has some shady characters but I am sure we were looking at each other the same way. Everyone needs a roof and home over their heads and I believe I found mine when I am not comfortable trying to get to my actual home as are the folks who call it home longer then just a night. I give them kudos for helping out the folks who just need a place to hang out at even if they have no room and the canopy out front is the only thing to keep them safe from a passing storm. My room was old but the shower was strong and hot the bed was comfortable and the tv worked just fine.
- 1/5
The room I stayed in was not vacuumed and the walls and doors had visible dirt from hands that have touched the surface.
- 1/5
this property needs to be closed down the most disgusting place I’ve ever stood in. The staff look like they were all on drugs.
- 1/5
I booked a 13 night stay and was told to leave after 1 night staying there because of a domestic violence situation. I was not afforded my $976 in refund for the nights I did not stay and since that incident they have charged my card for $120 and then another $420. In what universe is a room for ONE night costs $1,300? The staff were VERY rude and disrespectful and the place is nothing but a drug hotel.
- 1/5
Didn’t even go in to the property. Saw enough from the parking lot.
- 4/5
I stayed here a week and it wasn't bad. The people at the front desk are nice, the room and bed were clean, and everything works. Walls are thin and people can usually be heard walking upstairs but it's not obnoxious. Some homeless and sometimes sketchy people outside but nobody ever bothered me. Overall really can't complain, you get what you pay for.
- 1/5
I was uncomfortable from the moment i walked in. Staff gave me little to no information. A person claiming to be from "management" knocked on our door at 2 am to yell at us for being loud when we were in bed at 9 pm.
- 2/5
Lots of equipment was broken. You can hear everything your neighbors say as if they're in the room with you. The staff was very nice and did their best to help.
- 1/5
Can't get a hold of the front desk. I am given a prompt to leave a voicemail but the mailbox is full
- 5/5
Jesse at the front desk was awesome. We previously stayed at another local Surburban Studios and the staff was extremely terrible and unprofessional. Was a pleasure to see Jesse again.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly and accommodating

My spouse & I both were on the checkin receipt. Already in Denver, he came to checkin while my flight was delayed. He was given a hard time & told all people in the traveling party have to show IDs staying in the room. Later we both attempt to get in, but 1 key wasn’t working & the other key inconsistently not working. Get to the room. Missing shower curtain. How disrespectful to check someone, anyone into a room with the shower curtain missing. Coffee maker is missing from the room. Dried vomit on the bathroom floor that has dirty shoe prints through it. You can’t walk barefoot or with socks & your shoes are sticking to the floor. The window curtain is off its hooks. We were trying to rehook it for 5 mins & gave up. Trash on the sides of the coffee table. Looks like snot rags & a malt liquor bottle. Batteries missing from the LCD tv in the room. Tv is definitely here, but you can’t watch anything without the remote batteries. Hair-blow dryer ripped from the wall and missing. Bathroom door does not close because it’s warped. Probably due to no shower curtain in the bathroom. All light switch covers are missing, which is probably a building code safety violation. Beware if your traveling with small children. There is electrical wiring exposed. Neighbors are loud with music & tvs. Honestly, this room isn’t even worth the price. I actually feel disrespected & literally robbed of my money being put in this room that was advertised a certain way, but not that at all.

We checked into this extended stay after a bad experience at our other one. We were greeted with smiles and amazing service!! We felt accepted and treated the same instead of making us feel like we were beneath them, like our last extended stay. It is safe, the rooms are cute and have good space. Everyone on this property has been so nice and friendly. I would highly recommend this place, if you are looking for a low key relaxed place. Larry and Amanda, will welcome you with open arms! We LOVE it here.

It was horrible from the miscommunication of check in to leaving early for bed bugs and the property not accommodating anything for us but they could give us another room but who’s to say that room doesn’t have bed bugs too. Super disappointing will be filling a claim in court with them wouldn’t even email or call me see if there was anything they could do just nope no refund. Not clean at all. I’m 6 months pregnant and had my 8 month son with me.

Check in took too long and then when my friend and i got to our room, we found out that we had been given keys to an unfinished room, which took more time. We were on a time crunch and the worker at the desk knew this so the whole ordeal was very frustrating

First they don’t have my room available, then they give me a room that the lock was broken, I get a non-smoking an my room smell like someone smoke there plus people do marijuana inside of the hotel (rooms) because we can smell that

Was not handicap accessible. Just a tub with lots of bars. No carpet. Crappy bed. Scary surroundings.

TV didn't work. No coffee maker. Very loud air conditioner. Bathroom smelled of mold. No ice. Loud people in the next room.

I paid for a king bed but they only has queen bed. No toilet paper or holder when I arrived. Tears in the linoleum floor and side table dirty with food stains. Holes in the whole.

It’s somewhat difficult to review this property. The reason multifaceted. First, I called for a late check in and was told that all I would need to do was call a number and someone would be down to greet me. I called the number 44 times to no avail for the next few hours. I basically slept in my car. When it was time someone would physically be there at 9am, I was told she had checked someone in at 2:30 am, but then I showed her the time of my call which was at 2:29. So there was some untruth to that. Also I was charged the full rate even though the service expected wasn’t reciprocated. This is supposedly a non-smoking hotel. But when I entered my room, it was the epitome of a smoking room. I asked about it not wanting to be charged any penalty for smoking and was told that that was a surprise and that they couldn’t move me because they were full. Anyway, the one good thing was that there was good television and the bed was comfortable.
