Travelers beware! The property and room were NOT clean, the bed and pillows uncomfortable, and the exercise equipment was all broken except for one bike. The TV had only 3 channels. It smelled like pot inside and out and there were drug deals going down in the parking lot. Also, 120th and the freeway is VERY LOUD. Stay at your own risk!

The staff were very unfriendly, the rooms were too small, the telephone in the room didn't work, and neither did the television.

Room was flat out disgusting for lack of knowledge on a worse word to use. Smelled awful the entire time. Something was in the AC unit that gave a horrendous smell. We were there for three days and even though we covered the room insurance wise we were not able to be refunded. By far the worst room I have ever stayed in. I would implore you to stay anywhere else literally. There were homeless crackheads all around the hotel and the staff not only did nothing to discourage it, they almost invited it. They were allowed in the lobby as well. I gave this place one star, if I could give it 0 stars I would. Trust me, DO NOT STAY HERE!

Stayed 2 nights in rooms that were kind of gross and the bed covers was extremely old. Couldn’t get a good night’s sleep because of the grossness from the stains on the sheets. This hotel needs a major update. I’m calling corporate about this location and we’ll be asking for a refund. Major red flags, people walking the halls all night. Cheap hotel but gross to stay in. I would give it a zero star rating, 2 star hotel is too much.

The Continental breakfast was basically non-existent, they charge you $40 as a deposit which I can understand but they also charge your card $100 before you even get there So now you're 100 and $40 out before you've even arrived which kind of sucks when you're on a budget. The person checking me in did not seem to care and just kept referring me to the manager who of course was not there when we checked in

In the midst of chaos the staff was a breath of fresh air. I sincerely appreciate Ana for helping me after I bought a coke, there was a beautiful conversation and a smile! It was greatly appreciated!

The other thing we didn't like was that they say breakfast was included. We went to the breakfast area around 7 am and the only thing available was coffee/tea or juice, wheat bread, 2 blan cereals which were spilled all over the counter and about 5 apples in a bowl. We didn't see a toaster too make toast, no bowls, utensils or even milk for the cereal. It was not very unappealing. It wasn't even enough to call it a continental breakfast, which is the minimum basics available. I asked the front desk what was supposed to be there and he said pastries, coffee/ tea and juice. For the prices they charge I expected better. We were very disappointed in our overall stay.

I liked it was quiet and being by the side door on the first floor...I was there for almost a full week. Out of all the staff one front desk stood out the most.. he works i think the 3-11 shifts that was amazing...he remembered what room,he never had to ask, he was polite and understanding. I had a problem with an ex who kept harassing me and he found me at that hotel and he kept calling. He stopped anymore calls from coming at my request with no questions asked but he knew why I was asking and immediately apologized for my ex situation and said hed make sure no more calls would come through.He was straight and to the point but very welcoming feeling. I like this property they were on top of everything and I didn't have any problems with any of the staff. A few of the front desk workers came across as mean or rude at times but not to me(I talked to a few people who complained about a few of them) but I never had any problems. Over all a good place I'd definitely stay again. Rooms were clean clean and I was very surprised but kudos to housekeeping team!.. they are great I had some encounters with a few people that were not all at "home" upstairs that were rude as ever but cant judge. I stayed at the super 8 Wyndham on Melody Drive Westminster for business from April 24th until May 9th 2026. Wyndham properties are usually pretty good with continental breakfast customer service going the extra mile that's what they're known for however if you want the complete opposite this is where you should stay. Their breakfast consist of light yogurt strawberry or peach a Twinkie/honey bun in the wrapper or raisin Bran everyday yes coffee is supplied. I never had the correct amount of towels and when I had to ask for them I would always receive pushback and not given the correct amount. There's lots of homeless and or riff Raff around the property which can be a little frightening late at night. The manager Muhammad and the night manager Kris need to learn how to communicate effectively without speaking at someone I noticed they would make accusations that were not true in order to keep their security deposit they attempted that with me and said I was smoking in my room and I'm an oncology therapist and don't touch cigarettes or anything of the sort I had to be a bit confrontational for them to finally leave me alone about it. Everything seems to be a chore for them and they don't seem happy to be there my room the entire time I was there my sheets were never changed my linens never taken or my garbage I was responsible to take them garbage out myself ask for fresh linens and make my own bed and thankfully I'm clean and made it through without having to ask for a vacuu

The hallway reeked of marijuana. The mattress was uncomfortable and had dips. The pillows were extremely small (14x14). There were stains on the carpet, the bathroom floor (yellow). I don’t think anyone would called what they offered breakfast ( small danish in plastic, a few yogurts, terrible coffee). They did a small area that offered cereals and other better looking food items for Sale though. The front desk staff were rude and unprofessional. The rating on Expedia should reflect 1 star hotel with a 5 rating at best.

The bedding had holes and stains throughout, and one room had more blankets on the bed than the second. Dust bunnies and cracks were on the ceilings of both rooms. 2 separate light bulbs were burned out in the 2 separate rooms we were in. When we looked out the window, we could see 3 guys drinking beer and smoking weed in the back parking lot. Even if it costs you a few extra dollars, I would go elsewhere. When I booked the room, it said it offered a hot breakfast, but when we went down the first morning, it was a pre-packaged iced bun and a dispenser for orange juice that qualified as "Breakfast." I booked 2 nights and left the morning after the first. Just stay away.

Stayed two nights. The hotel looks run down. Room marginally clean. Roaches. TV with no sound, had to use subtitles. Asked front desk to get it fixed. Maintenance person changed subtitles to spanish. Drunk people hang around outside the hotel. Would not recommend.

Room was nice and clean and staff was friendly, but the breakfast was literally just honey buns, which was disappointing to say the least. Also the door connecting the room to the room next to it allowed a lot of sound through, and I felt pressured to just sit quietly so they wouldn’t hear me which wasn’t very comfortable and the reason I decided not to stay any longer. It wasn’t bad for the price, but I wouldn’t return honestly.

There was really no continental breakfast. Juices, coffee, and some tea. They had a few packaged cheap honey buns. Asked for an iron Friday night, didn't get one. Asked again in the morning said it would be up to the room by 7am. The iron never showed.

Don’t expect any breakfast here. It was basically a place for us to sleep/shower/get ready. This is a hotel that needs fixing and upgrading. The remote in our room was not working but they fixed that pretty quickly, but the back of it to keep the batteries in was non existent. There are old stains in the bathroom toilet and tub, beds move and swing a lot even when turning on your sides. Rooms smelled like smoke even though we asked for a non smoking room. Good thing we were hardly there, but it’s not a place where you expect to comfortably stay lazy at. Will say the plus side of it was it was in the middle of everything we needed to get to and close to some really good eating spots.

We couldn't stay here because they don't accept visitors with a cat! Although the listing states that the hotel was pet friendly, that was only if you were traveling with a dog! My money paid for the reservation was based on a no cancelation policy so it wasn't easy getting a refund.

It is really sad that none of the front desk staff seem like they really hate being there and it shows how they treat the customers!!!!. They also don't have a working laundry facility. I asked for a room with a king size bed and a pillow top and we did not get that when we get there, we were given a room that was occupied then we’re in a room watching TV and it just suddenly turns off we went out for the day, and when we returned, we could not get into our room because the keys would not let us in overall was not a good experience. There was not an iron in the room. I had to go get one then the iron had a shortage overall bad.

They wouldn't transfer me out of the room. I wasn't told there was a pet. Deposit until I got there and then they charged me. Double for my pet I didn't like the room. It looked like it was a storage closet that they put a bed in a bathroom in.If it was so small, I could barely walk around the ac, didn't work

The motel is just off I-25 and is across the street from a major RTD bus stop called Wagon Road. You can take an express bus downtown or even to the airport from here. Lots of places to eat or get a drink and a few miles from grocery stores. Very friendly staff. And you can’t beat the price! The Bad: It’s definitely run down and you need to be aware of your surroundings at night. It’s not a dangerous location by any means, but also not the safest. Additionally, Mohammed, GM, and his team/vendors/Wyndham are in the process of slowly upgrading the place and it should pay dividends when all is said and done. Overall, if you're looking for a budget friendly, easily accessible by car, public transportation, or ride-share services, and just need a place to lay you and your family’s head out night whilst visiting Denver/friends/family, I recommend booking your stay now!

The property is clean and quiet. Our only issue was being double charged. We paid on the expedia ap and then were also charged by the hotel when we did the online checkin. Plus our deposit was not done as a "hold" it actially was processed as a charge - so we did not get that back at check out. So dont check in online unless you want to pay twice and go through the hassle of figuring out how to get your refunds.

The hotel is in serious need of updating. The tub was not clean but probably because it’s so old and damaged. The surface of the toilet seat is peeling. The carpet is frayed and dirty. There was trash under the bed.

I recently spent a week at the Super 8 Westminster (12055 Melody Dr, Westminster, CO 80234), and overall, my stay was great. Mehsan was amazing — very welcoming and attentive to me and my fiancée throughout our stay. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and offers great value. However, I did notice some serious issues that I believe deserve attention. Prostitution and drug dealing appear to be ongoing problems around the property. This is concerning and not acceptable for a hotel under the Wyndham brand. I truly believe Super 8 represents affordable stays in America — just as travelers expect in Europe in 2025 — and I hope Wyndham will take stronger measures to ensure guest safety and maintain the reputation of its properties. Staff confusion on which room available to rent out. one room had broken toilet, tried to check me into a different room that was being used for storage, the elevator looks like it’s going to break down with doors that barely close. Final try to get a room all appeared well at first then we noticed the sink was clogged and it had a noisy refrigerator keeping us up most of the night. Breakfast was minimal, staff was friendly but not knowledgeable of property.

They don't trust you enough to bring your breakfast up to your room you have to eat it while they stand there and watch you like a hawk. It's ridiculous. The first floor smells like feet and wet dogs. Seems like every room has something wrong with it and they don't care. I checked out mid-week though I had reserved a whole week. I just couldn't take it anymore.

The room itself was comfortable. The hotel had only two working doors to the outside, not working even lfrom the inside so it was a firetrap. This seemed generally accepted by staff and residents as a longstanding issue. The front desk charged me almost $300 for no reason sending my checking account into chaos, but refunded it quickly when I brought it to their attention. It took several days to come back to my account casting a shadow over my work trip. Like I mentioned, the room was comfortable and the hotel had easy access into the highway.

The bathroom had those soft office tiles over the shower and were moldy and sagging. The bath tub was all chipped up. And still has soap scum in the tray from the previous user. There were 2 men in a car hanging out ... They seemed super comfy. We went to get our car for dinner they were still there, socked feet hanging out of the window. When we came back i parked around back to avoid them if they were still there. And some other guy was using his key card to keep the door propped open for himself. Meanwhile anyone could walk in... And the staff didn't see this in camera. I'd pick Pueblo Colorado over this place, and that's saying a lot I did take pictures... So you will know this isn't a Karen rant.

The gentleman both night and day are extremely rude. , I had just had my home robbed and was assaulted with a knife I couldn't stay in my home because of trauma so I chose your location in westminster.super 8 to feel safe. I wasn't greeted in a friendly manor or treated with respect probably because I looked like a homeless man from having my teeth knocked out from an assault. I was give a room that had dogs next to me across the hall and nextdoor that barked all night long. One woman attempted to enter my room. My heating and air conditioner didn't work causing the room to become pressurized the pitch and vibration from the lighting was so intense I physically was getting sick kept hearing, " he's positive " repeatedly from the woman and man next to me. Never in my 51 years have j ever had that happen the sink would drain and the towels had so much soap / fabric softenerthat it Left a cloud of it in The air as it stuck hu shin making my break out in a red rash. The Indian who I spoke with said was then myself, instead of giving me a new set. I attempted to wash my belongings but the washer was broken and wouldn't spin or wash leaving me forced to go to another hotel at 12am to dry clothes in order to be have clothes to were and not smell. No apologies no refund of situation nothing. I have had great reports with some of the women who gave helped me in the past but the guys that work need not to be learn not to be argumentative. Ask for room for handicap close to door and it was as far as could possibly be from door. Pet policy unclear and when I wanted to cancel the additional days was given the runaround. Don’t come here

Worst experience ever

My only complaint is that my key-cards stopped working several times during my stay. The staff was very cordial and fixed the card right away, but it was tiresome to keep having to go to the front desk to get the cards fixed.

It was bad that the room was too small. The chair had a broken back and it was impossible to lean. There was no soft chair at all, the carpets are dirty.

Not sure why they offer online check in if you have to give all your info over again. Waste of my time when im tired and just want to rest. Room was very clean. Bed squeaked when you sit on it. Desk clerk was awesome, very friendly!

I mostly booked this place because it had a gym, however, I don't think they should be advertising the gym, because the equipment is ill-maintained and the thermostat in the gym doesn't work. So, it was like 80 plus degrees in there. Otherwise, the property is a good cheap place to stay in Denver.

Transport access was good and enjoyed our stay

116 a night I thought was a good deal until I saw the place. Pay a little more and stay at the fair field inn next door.

Facility was good

The room had a strong mold/mildew smell. Surfaces of the room had splashes of something shiny and sticky (on the desk, chair, bench setting and night stand). The bathroom ceiling looked to have water damage and in some patts looked like it would cave in. There was what appeared to be a past cigarette burn on the bedding. The area in the evening/night time had an unsafe vibe to the atmosphere. Overall, i was on edge staying in that room for the entire stay. Took pictures of everything (state of the room upon arrival) and happy to sure. I also never got my $40 dollar deposit back. Worst experience ive ever had in my life. Ill never be coming back and i certainly don't recommend this place for ANY reason!!

The rooms had infestation of bugs.The 1st room had roaches, The second room had ants, 3rd got bit by brown recluse spider ended up in ER, 4th room black mold. Management didn't care would not do anything but move us rooms. We left to better hotel.

Great and convenient location with stores, restaurants, a new recreation center, I-25, and a main road and bus stop station right at your fingertips. The hotel king room is spacious and the rates are very reasonable. The motel could use an entire makeover but the staff is friendly and helpful.

The room was great but the property was sjetchy at best. People were hanging around outside the front door, the only door you can enter building by, at all times if the day and night. Although there were no issues, it was a safety issue.

Hotels.com said i was picking a 2 quuen with a separate couch area. The actual room was 2 double beds no couch. The room was very dirty. There was paper sprinkles on the floor like they couldn't even bother to vacuum before we arrived. The bathroom walls have mold growing. The room walls have dirty marks and crayon colorings. I stated I have 4 people they still only provided 2 towels at a time. I had to ask for toilet paper and tissues because the bathroom was out upon arrival. They do not come and do room cleanings whatsoever even when I asked if they could drop more towels and was told they would when doing the cleanings. Only positive was breakfast was okay.

The comforter on the bed had a disgusting food stain that was dried on, and we had to get it replaced. The room was not properly cleaned, and there was a Band-Aid on the coffee table. Also candy from under the couch. The toilet would not stop running kept us up all night. Overall, it was not a very good stay unfortunately.

Room not super clean, window broken, sink and toilet backed up. Key cards for outside doors don't work. Had to get key card recorded 3 times. All around not the best experience.

This is a budget type hotel so you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a 3 or 4 star hotel this is not your place. The rooms were decent and breakfast was what we expected (waffles, 2 choices of cereal, some muffins and apples). The location was great as there is a lot around. A decent little gym in the first floor equipped with a sauna. The room in the picture is not a true depiction of the rooms you will get at this location. We didn't interact with the staff much but did have to check out with the front desk to avoid losing our $40 cash deposit and being charged another night. The back door couldn't be open with your key card but I did witness people open it by pushing a credit card or driver license between the lock and the door jam. Not very safe or secure as anyone could get in. The biggest complaint was the bathroom and the lack of cleanliness. The tub was chipped and not very clean There also appeared to be black mold around the top of the wall in the shower. The ceiling above the shower also appeared to have mold and was dropping (most likely due to some leak). We couldn't believe they would rent that room out in that condition (see attached photos). It did the job but we would not stay there again.

The rooms pictured on Expedia are not accurate, rooms were filthy, and extremely dated. Like staying in a sketchy hotel in the 80s. Room keys had to be programmed every day. Only one exterior door opened. Front desk was always helpful despite all the issues. Would not recommend staying here with your family.

Stay was comfortable enough. Had to put up with others trying to get in wrong room and someone banging on window during the weekend. None of that during the week. Had to get towels from front desk because no one replaced dirty towels during the day. It was not a terrible stay though.

Looked like 1st floor was homeless recovery, every normal person was sent to 3rd floor. Narcotics all over streets, room was very worn out, pillows were lumpy. I’d have to be very desperate to stay at this one again. 👎

I love the quiet in the room, even though it's near a major roadway. Its a grest choice for a budget friendly option, that allows pets and has inside the building access to your room.

Stayed for a business/pleasure trip. Room was clean except the bedding was questionable. Room next door was loud and could hear them all night. Traffic at intersection was loud, even with windows closed. Continental breakfast was not a traditional continental breakfast. Overall stay was a rating of a B-.

Liked being next to resturants. Didnt like guest smoking at doorway exit and smoke filled stairwell. Breakfast was minimal. Missing sausage & eggs.

While the service desk was friendly and welcoming, the queen suite deluxe I booked was not clean or like the picture. Bath towels had footprints on them and bathtub was dirty. The couch was stained, old and torn. I asked for another suite and none were available. They didn't even offer me another room. The room was stayable and that’s about it. Could use serious improvement!

Quite old and run down. Breakfast options extremely limited, no toast or toaster. Only hot item was waffle or make your own instant oatmeal. No coffee maker in room.

Make you pay a $40 cash deposit and inspect your room after and try to keep the $. I had video proof so they couldn’t. I’d like my money back if possible. Terrible experience

There are many questionable people staying or hanging out there. If you are not comfortable around these people, don't stay here. The AC had one speed and it did not cool. The breakfast was clean but limited on selection. If the front desk person, who was nice, is on a cigarette break, you will wait a little while. We stayed there four nights and it was okay but we can deal with the above mentioned things. I probably wouldn't book there again.

They made the pictures look much better than it is. It looks like they went to a selvedge and bought a bunch of used linens to furnish the room. very lumpy mattress and pillow. Blanket barely covered my feet and I am 5 ft tall. I would never recommend it. You could hear everything in the parking lot.

The place was terrible. I showed up had to wait a hour for my room. The room was not clean, then went down and asked for towels. They said I had to wait for a room service, when I checked out due to a dirty washcloth, they kept my deposit, terrible hotel.

Breakfast is really good. Stop for amazing very helpful manager, however leaves room for improvement as far as customer relations and gossiping at the front desk.

All of the hotels in this area are filled with sketchy people. This time around was a decent experience but I keep to myself. The owners of these places only care about profit.
