Everything! The girl at the front desk was awful. We had paid online for the room. We arrived 2 hours early and she didn't even try to get us a room that was ready! I explained we were tired from traveling and still she got even more stern. My husband and I are 73 and 75 yes. Old with many health issues. I asked if we could hang out in the lobby. Begrudgingly she said yes. We sat patiently for over an hour when that girl left her post and a much kinder girl came over to us and asked if we had been waiting. She immediately got us a beautiful room! She was very quiet but very kind.

Love the suite and amenities. Breakfast was a plus. We appreciate the fact that it is dog friendly, even though we didn't bring ours to this one.

It was spotless, decorated beautifully for graduation, and the staff was excellent. The only thing is that I booked these rooms 8 months in advance and wanted us all to be in same area. We had 4 rooms and all on different floors which made it hard with the elderly folks with us.

We loved the basketball court, pool, and BBQ area! The fire pit was a great place to sit at! The rooms were a little dirty in areas and breakfast was good but not great. There were a lot of options.

Close to everything Carpets felt funny barefoot. Slippers easily fixed that.

The staff was very pleasant and kind. The room was spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay. The breakfast options were plentiful and tasty. Our favorite things about the hotel, however, were the pool and outdoor terrace with the firepit, which made relaxing at the hotel a lot more fun. Though the bed was comfortable, the pillows did not offer much support. The biggest issue we had with the room, however, was the shower, which did not drain sufficiently. After about 3 minutes, the water would start to back up and pool around your feet. It also would have been nicer if the complimentary shampoo and conditioner were more effective or smelled better.

We loved the breakfast and the Wednesday night welcome home reception dinner was a great surprise. With three teenage boys the free food was well appreciated! The room was a little smaller than it seemed in the pictures, but it was great for our needs. The pool and hot tub were great. The only real miss was one of the beds had sand between the sheets on our first night for some reason. Kinda gross! Otherwise a good stay.

yes, it was easy to find, parking was great, it was near tasty restaurants at every price point, the rooms were clean and fresh. it was a delightful visit.

Beautiful, very clean property. We enjoyed the amenities- pool, hot tub. Everything was well maintained. We had to leave before breakfast opened so cannot speak to that. Will be back.

The hotel was fantastic. It was very close to the airport, too. They had many good items to choose from for breakfast every day. The staff was kind and generous. The bed was great, and the room overall was kept up nicely.

Breakfast was great! The pool and hot tub area could use some maintenance. Our bed might need to be replaced as we sunk into the middle. Otherwise, a decent stay!

Room was very clean, staff smiles and says hello and refills everything at breakfast that is needed such as berries! Strawberries, blackberries, blueberries! Love the suite area, and room decorated with towel in heart shape for Valentine’s Day!

The room was falling apart more or less. Cobwebs, wallpaper ripped off the wall, drawers barely opened without force, television kept going purple and blue during shows, shower curtain did not fit the tub and sprayed every which way. Hair was left behind in the tub, had to buy lysol and clean myself. Was charged three times for incidentals when it should have only been twice. When asked for number to corporate the front desk said she couldn't get it, which I took a screenshot of as well. Most staff was rude, other than the cleaners who were really sweet. Train your front desk better and to not be so off putting. There's no smiles, appearance looks sloppy and more. I typically tell people to come here for a hotel and no longer will but will say otherwise. Very upset because this place USED to be good. What happened?

Yes the Breakfast options were plentiful and delicious The bedroom had one bed undone upon return. However the overall experience was pleasant and my children had a wonderful time

This is a very nice hotel, one of the best I have stayed in. The place was immaculate, best breakfast buffet I've had, bed was super comfortable, easy to get to, friendly staff and a reasonable price.

This is my third year staying at this hotel and every time I stay the staff are helpful, rooms are clean. I love it there and can’t wait to go again.

It would of been fair to put 0 stars since 1 is top many. The room on top of us were having a party until 1h45am. The receptionist was scared of saying anything also sinve she was the only staff at night.

Fridge in the room had a disgusting smell aside from that it was a good stay bathroom and sitting area was very clean.

The room was very clean, the staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was plentiful. The kids enjoyed the pool (which was clean). They even cleaned off our car after a snow storm. It was the best homewood we've stayed in.

We had an amazing time. The room was great and spacious with a large kitchenette. They had Santa there for breakfast, which was a really exciting surprise for our family, and we loved the pool. The staff were all really friendly as well.

Very clean from the outside to inside lobby area to our room, the staff was very friendly. The one thing that could better is the mattress, it was not very comfortable. Room size was great and set up well.

Amazing breakfast! Big spacious rooms with well equipped kitchen and comfy bed. Loved having a pool AND a hot tub. Staff was friendly and welcoming. I even saw a server at breakfast chase someone down as they were checking out and give them a big hug. It was so heartwarming to witness. We stay in hotels all the time due to our kids sports. Highly impressed all the way around with Homewood Suites in Albany!!

The beds are not as comfortable as I prefer. It really depends on the room it seems. I have stayed here several times and king size beds seem more comfortable than the queen beds. GF options available at breakfast.

Overall, the hotel is clean and the staff is very helpful. The rates are very reasonable in relation to the product. Rooms with western exposure can be noisy due to the close proximity to Interstate 87.

My stay was wonderful. The breakfast was great with many options. However my next stay at this property, I would like a room facing the front of the property, because the planes come right over the hotel during landing.

general manager helped so much and was so friendly. breakfast is always delicious. not a better back yard area. pool is always clean. 24/7 starbucks coffee. have been here many times during saratoga and have always had a great experience. manager very very helpful, staff was wonderful. make sure you tip, stop being so cheap. staff works hard.

This is my second time using this property as it has amenities that serve my family well. We were able to barbecue and host 15+ people in the court yard. Once we got to the beautiful room EVERYONE complained about the condition of the bathroom, so much so that we were unable to stay the night due to the mold.

One of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever seen, with nice fresh fruit, many hot choices and good (!) pastries. Also, dining room staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Shuttle driver was amazing: friendly and helpful. Front desk staff not so much. Unfriendly and barely acknowledged us during check in and check out. When you’ve worked in hospitality, I find this shocking. Promote the shuttle driver: he would do a much better job at the desk!

Stayed here for our son’s college graduation. Rooms were awesome! The best part was the free breakfast. The restaurant staff was so attentive and they served so many options, many that were healthy. I can’t remember an all-inclusive breakfast that served chia seed pudding. Love this hotel!

Do not get room 528. Fan above bed got so loud, squeaky, stopped working. Feels like the mattress has a sinkhole on the left side. Shower had hair around the drain. Smelt musty. Slept terrible. Told someone about it and never received help.

The stay was excellent but when i got home i got an extra $150 off my debit card, After I paid for everything in full.

The room was clean and spacious. Wifi worked perfectly. Breakfast was impressive with lots of warm options, too. Coffee was piping hot. The gym was outstanding. It offered Precor treadmills and ellipticals. Peleton bikes. Free weights. Towels and cold water. Amazing. Also, there are lots of restaurant choices nearby.

Most hotels that offer airport shuttles have parking for during flight. We drove two hours to be told we couldn’t park there for our trip and still had to drive to airport. Very misleading.

Everything was wonderful! This is the 2nd time we have stayed there for the Flower and Garden Show. We will continue to choose to stay here each time we visit the area!

Unfortunately, our bed was so uncomfortable, neither of us could sleep! We have another stay booked for 2 nights and hope we have a better bed! The hotel is showing some general wear but hopeful you have plans for some general upkeep.

I check in late in the night and was ready to sleep but there water flowing noise in the bathroom and eventually I was give a different room. Somebody should have the checked the room and make sure it was ready

I tried to realize this is Albany and what we got is what is expected in that town I just wished the hotel manager could see, from an outside prospective, how bush league their hotel is. If you are reading this review take a look at the management comment, if they do respond. If it is the same corporate response as is on all the other negative reviews, then you know I’m right and that the customer is not their number one priority.

The receptionist was incredibly rude. My keycard kept shutting off, and they wouldn't give me a new one without an ID (it was in my locked room. After an escort to my room, i was asked to bring my ID back down to the front desk. And she didn't even check it! The TV didn't work in the room nor did the toilet. The room was drafty and cold. There was a loud party all night in the room next to mine. Finally, the sidewalks were covered in thick ice. I would never stay there again.

Nice property, ample parking, super clean and staff was great. Only a few miles from Albany International Airport which was nice considering it had snowed five inches overnight and I haven’t driven in snow for over 25 years. Bonus that there was a $10 off no delivery fee offer from Grub Hub for guests of the hotel.

Arrived during snowstorm. The parking lot was maintained constantly to first enable parking and then get out in the morning. My main complaint is that front desk person was ditzy. We were told on checking-in that there would be coffee 24/7 and when my wife needed some early in the morning, the clerk didn’t want to do it. She also said she could not print out a receipt when we left, saying that the computer was down. Another complaint is that the hotel doesn’t allow fly & drive parking, even for a daily fee. Most of the other airport hotels offer this option.
