Average budget hotel despite the previous reviews. Staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast was the bare minimum in terms of the usual buffet breakfast; no yogurt, fruit limited to oranges.

the room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. the rooms were clean. Love the Dove products in the bathrooms We were placed on the first floor, the room above us were extremely loud. We had to get up early for a softball tournament for my child, at 1130pm you could hear them running and stomping throughout the room.

Shower/tub/jacuzzi desperately needed attention. Slip mat had black mold and surface area around it needed pressure washing to remove caked on dirt/grime. Room had a funky sweat smell and needed airing out. Tissue box ran out of tissue after 4 times blowing my nose. Bathroom wall edges had some rust spots and badly in need of fixing.

Everyone was so nice, I was doing a mommy getaway and I just relaxed in my room for my stay. I'm thinking about doing this once a month. They fixed my problem once I informed them. So I can't say anything negative

Older hotel, so the wallpaper and paint are definitely showing their age in many hallways.

Parking was great, even for my big truck. Plenty of room. Room was super clean, a/c kept us nice & cool. Had real soap in the bathroom. None of those slimy little bars, there was Dove liquid soap for shower & hand washing.

Got the room on short notice. GREAT and comfortable after a long day of travel and amusement park fun. Clean, convenient, affordable price; great breakfast as well. Would gladly do again.

The first room I was given was not made up. I went back to front desk and they graciously moved me to a canceled “king” room.

Interior needs updating. Third floor hallway needs to be redone or fresh painted might help. The room 304 bed mattress is old and uneven.

The water in the bathroom was so cold. And Turing a cold spell, I would hope it would be warmer. It was slightly warm…I got out cold.

Very Rude Manager! Untrained; my 4-day stay was a terrible and inconvenient experience and will NEVER stay at a Holiday Inn at that location again!!! Tried to voiced my concerns and inconvenience to the manager on duty and she wouldn’t let me speak but threatened to call police because i complained of the bad experience. Made multiple complaints for help through out my stay and was never helped. One of the staff did come to my room to try and said he couldn't and that the manager will try to get maintenance the next day and couldn't relocate me because it was already late. Horrible experience and plan to follow up to the top owners at this hotel to address my bad experience. Very humiliating experience from this RUDE and insensitive lady claiming to be the manager. Even tri d to discourage me from call IHG corporate saying they are independent franchise. I plan to see this situation remedied or address. A customer complains and you threat call police! I need answers

The AC is set at a really cold temp. The room had a musky smell to it. We thought it was a smokers room due to smell but the front desk reassured is it was not. Maybe just old carpet.

Last minute trip for baseball, upon arriving our room only had 2 towels available for a room that sleeps 4. When i asked the next morning they said they were out of towels and that i could bring my dirty ones for them to wash…I almost felt i needed to go buy my own towels just to have enough for the 4 days we were going to be there. I have never been at a hotel where they had NO MORE towels (morning or night) the bathroom door would not lock, all the metal fixtures had rust stains, bathroom had mildew or moldy stains. The water didn’t get very hot and if i did it wouldn’t last long. Our tv remote had tape to help keep the batteries in. Some of our plugs did not work for all of our phones ect. Parking is very limited, i had to park at the restaurants in front of the hotel.The upside was it was very quiet area, close to most things. Overall it was ok for a quick stay but I wouldn’t recommend for 2 or more days if dingy is something you dont like.

Spacious room and Good Breakfast

They could’ve done many things to alleviate a very difficult situation Instead, they did very little.

Even though we only stayed for one night, our experience was great! The hotel is clean, quiet, we enjoyed our room and our kids did as well. Breakfast was good and the staff treated us very well from the receptionist up to the staff in charge of the breakfast and area. Totally recommend this hotel and will definitely use again when back in the area!!!

No one at front desk when arrived to check in around 8 pm. Waited at least 10 minutes and by then 4 other couples had arrived and also waiting to check in. Eventually a staff member showed up and said he had been fixing a television.

The overall stay was good. Bathroom is not as clean. If the shower is on, the tap is still on. No air vents in the bathroom. Bathtub is old and can be replaced. Breakfast options are same everyday, limited options for vegetarians.

Place was a bit run down. Found a large roach in my room the last morning I was there.

Room needs paint on the door and bulbs in the ceiling fixture by the door. Room had a dirty towel on the floor and a black hair in the tub. No vent in the bathroom.

Overall, the staff & outside facility was good, but the working condition on the inside was all good. The room we stayed in the drainage in the bathtub was very slow. The tub was filling up fast while showering due to very poor drainage.

Overall a decent hotel. It had dirty windows, horrible orange juice, unexciting breakfast, so-so shower. Otherwise, the hotel was a typical Holiday Inn express. Bedding and furniture were decent. The TV's didn't have close caption.

Overall no issues but room service only cleaned our room once during our 4 night stay.

All of the staff was friendly and very helpful love the 2 room suite very spacious and jacuzzi tub was amazing. Best hotel bed ever

Very comfy beds!

I booked a 2 queen suite for a family of 5 and I arrived around 6 pm and they told me then they had no suites available for us. We had to cram in 2 queen bed and the shower was dirty and no hot water.

I had the worst experience. The hotel made an error on my booking and checked me out a day early. By checked out they went into my room and put all of my stuff in garbage bags including my suits and computer. I would offer grace is they had tried to contract me multiple times. This was not the case.

The property itself is better.than average though closest dining is an Arby's. There used to be an on the border franchise but based on the note on the door the owners were evicted. Mostly fast food type places nearby. Traffic patterns nearby can be defined as chaotic. I stayed twice in a ten day period, once on the way to Galvaston and once back to home. A tuesday night stay was only 72 dollars and can recommend at that price. The Friday stay was double that for the same kind of room so wouldn't recommend at the higher cost point. Plus side room was clean, wrll stocked sundries shop, has a fitness center however pol is closed in the wintet. Friendly staff, just an inconvient location so wouldn't recommend for a vacation but for passing through is acceptable.

It's meh. Bureau drawers wouldn't stay shut. Building seems slightly unlevel. Water takes a long time to get hot.

Wasn’t the best of stay but it was okay and quiet we forgot our tooth brush the receptionist told us we couldn’t request anymore tooth brushes when we only requested them one day they are throw away use one time toothbrush why would we use the same one everyday

It was difficult to get from the expressway to the property. But the location of the property being close to the expressway was what I wanted/needed.

This was a very clean a spacious property. I had an issue with the TV not working; it was remedied quickly by capable front desk staff. The most disruptive issue was intermittent flushing of the toilet. Sometimes it would flush and sometimes it would not.

The breakfast was missing basic essentials no cinnamon rolls ! No oatmeal toppings. The stay was okay. I am kind of disappointed because we stayed to bring in New Years

Didn’t have a bathroom towel at front desk so I received pool towel for to use for a day which was a little disappointing other than that very nice place that is clean and comfortable.

The room was very clean and modern. My only negatives were the topper on the bed was too soft and the walls around the bathrooms need more insulation. It sounded like the rooms next to us were using our shower.

Clean room. No decaf coffee in room or at breakfast. Both room keys failed. Would not extend checkout for 1 hour.

This was definitely a budget hotel. The room was adequately clean the bed not particularly comfortable for one night stay it was fine. Probably would not stay there again.

Bathroom vent fan did not work, causing it to be damp and dank. The juice was watered down.

Lovely hotel with convenient location and near to dining and shopping venues. Breakfast is superb.

Housekeeping came to our room took dirty towels but left all the trash we had gathered for them.

Property was OK other than the bathroom wasn’t clean property. There was someone else’s hair on floor door and bathtub.

Bathroom door would not close. There was a mark on bed. Shower faucet was loose. Towels were not completely dry. It was below one start hotel. I asked them to change the room which they did but 2nd room was not much different that first one. Everytime I enter the room, there is this bad smell. This was the worst hotel I ever stayed. I have stayed at Holiday Inn before and really loved their breakfast but it was nothing like that here. Nothing. I am never coming back to this place and will let my circle know to watch out for this kind of places. They were very cheap in taking care of the property.

It needs attention, maybe an upgrade. Windows were dirty, bathtub was pinkish and rust all over it.

The only issue I had was with the front desk person, she was a young woman, who checked me in. She wasn’t very pleasant and I asked her if I could be put on a high floor. She told me no as the hotel was full. I understood that but when I asked another person I was moved immediately. The night staff and the older lady in the morning were excellent. They were very friendly and accommodating. They are the reason I would stay at this hotel again:)

Tried to give my 9 month old, a warm bath and didn’t even have hot water to the tub. I had very little warm water coming from the tub. The Jacuzzi tub that we got with the suite didn’t even work. Front desk was no help saying that they don’t have maintenance on the weekends only on weekdays and my only option was to move rooms if I wanted a working tub with hot water. I have two kids under two and it was 7 o’clock at night. I was not moving them after a long day. The phone kept flashing red and we couldn’t get rid of the message on the phone. There was no guide for the tv. I had to flip through most of them to just commercials on every channel. Front desk told me that they would talk to their boss to give me points for my visit since it was not up to standard for them. She told that I will get an email the next business day. I wasn’t contacted in any way. Just disappointed in IHG.

When we arrived the first night it was late and we were exhausted only to find a stained comforter something splattered all over the door and a room that looks like it was twenty years out of date. The next day we were given a new room which was at least clean. This doesn't deserve to be classified as a holiday inn express motel 6 would have been better

Staff were friendly from check in to check out. Room was very clean and the bed was super comfy.

There was no one at the front when arriving and we waited on 2 occasions for help. The speakers in the tv didn't work properly and we changed rooms.

My stay at this property was very accommodating. Great location.

Front desk was very helpful and was able to change me to a different wonderful room without a change in pricing due to the heavy smell of smoking. There is supposed to be no smoking, of course, so it was on the fault of a previous guest. But I liked how much brighter and well lit my new room was - mice decor and very comfy with a large bathroom and the much needed frig and microwave for super late night hours as well. The breakfasts were also very convenient and helped me get through a very grueling morning schedule. Would highly recommend with its affordability and friendly staff.

Room was loud and smelled musty. Trash cans in the lobby need to be emptied more during breakfast. Staff checking us in answered a call and helped the person on the phone in the middle of checking us in so we had to stand there and wait.

The lighting in the room was insufficient. It was very dark.

The hotel itself was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was ok. Most items were out when we went through at 7:30. I did see someone restocking as we were leaving. The one thing that was a deal breaker was the scalding hot water in the shower that you could not lower. The front desk was oh yea that’s a problem we are replacing the faucets. It will be better next time. There will be no next time for us!

This could have been a five star. You took away one star because I arrived 45 minutes early and you asked if we could check in early. I was told by the front desk that none of the rooms are ready. And there was no way she would be able to check me in early. Find it odd that nobody on the server ready 45 minutes prior to check in. I have never had this problem and any other location.

The staff was friendly, the breakfast was really good and they are located next to a shopping center and a target right accords the streets. Lots of places to eat within walking distance.

Decent enough place to sleep having just returned from Mexico. Front desk clerk was super friendly and helpful!

Best for the price and location

The initial room had a non-working tv and my family had to regather our things and relocate to a new floor with fair conditions. Our new room phone had no dial tone; unable to dial out. Service and employees were attentive!
