Hyatt Place Dallas/Allen

The swimming pool was under repair. The breakfast was nice and the breakfast staff was very friendly.

Not a comfortable place to stay. The lobby area looks newly renovated, but the rooms are dated and the air conditioning barely works. I had to switch rooms due to how hot and stuffy mine was, and the second room wasn't much better. Thermostat adjustments do nothing, and you it feels even worse during summer in Texas.

Other than the pool being closed, everything was wonderful.

The pool was not available due to other guest damaging it. So I paid the price so my girls won't using it. They should have credit my bill since the pool was closed, Everything else was good.

Waking up to a foul odor coming from the restroom. It started slowly but continued to the point that we had to check out asap in order to breathe, no joke. We let the front desk know on our way out, disappointing stay

We had a fantastic stay at Hyatt Place Dallas/Allen in Allen, Texas. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between modern comfort and convenience, with spacious, spotless rooms, a welcoming atmosphere, and staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home (Amanda). The complimentary breakfast was fresh and generous, the outdoor pool and 24-hour fitness center were great bonuses, and the location made it incredibly easy to reach shopping, dining (Roma Cuchina), and nearby attractions (Twin Creeks Golf). If you’re looking for a clean, stylish, and reliable place to stay in Allen, this hotel is an excellent choice.

Very good hotel in all aspects. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the service was excellent. Spacious free parking. The free breakfast was not that great. Overall, I had a great stay and would recommend this hotel.

This was our first stay at Hyatt Place Dallas/Allen and we loved it. The facilities were clean and modern, the staff was very friendly and nice, the room was immaculate and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was yummy.

I called the front desk at 3 in the morning to report the incident but did not receive an answer. I called 911. The police arrived promptly. Horrible experience.

Reception staff were great. The room was fine and clean initially. Housekeeping were terrible and absent despite management telling me they had been on one of the days; which was incorrect. When they did finally arrive on my final day, they failed to clean mugs that I had left out to assess if they had been in the room. If they had been, they failed to clean them. People were leaving their rubbish out in the corridor to be collected. Atrocious service from this standpoint.

The rooms were very clean, the bathroom was spacious. Overall very quiet. We weren’t able to grab breakfast in the morning because we had hit the road but the bacon smelled so good. Breakfast is at 6:30am

I brought this to the attention of the front desk assistant. No kind of accommodation was provided or offered. The breakfast was almost terrible. I'm a Hilton Diamond Member and Hilton breakfast is much better. Furthermore, I don't know if they have a staffing issue or what, but I waited at the front desk twice for assistance with a couple of things and there was no one to be found. Then, another time, I called the front desk over a span of two hours only for the phone to ring and ring and ring.

Bed was very uncomfortable the room is heavily outdated bathroom needs remodeled. Breakfast was mediocre definitely not worth the price they charge per night

Coffee was weak (light brown water), when I pointed it out I was met with combative remarks. Only on the weekend was the coffee made correctly (darker brown). Half-n-half was non-existent during the week, only put out on the weekend. Workout room was clean but only one towel all week, again weekend was fully stocked. Pool was out of order. As a World of Hyatt member I know the potential of this brand, this property needs improvement.

Clean and spacious room, professional and courteous staff, free spacious parking and complimentary breakfast. Had a great stay here with family also staying in several rooms as we were here from Los Angeles for a family wedding.

We liked the layout of the room, and it was very clean. The AC unit was quiet. The only thing that we didn't like was the EV charger. It charged us the rate that was more than double of the super charger.

The young lady that checked me in was very nice and informative about the surrounding area.

The room was spotless and the facility was very clean. However there appears to be some water damage in areas that need to be repaired. Additionally I think guests should be notified that the rooms are cleaned every other day, but if they want the room freshened up they can call the front desk. Overall everyone was very kind and the facility is nice.

I was really disappointed with my stay at the Hyatt. The room wasn’t clean, the service was slow, and the staff didn’t seem welcoming at all. Even simple requests took too long to handle. The breakfast was especially disappointing — the food didn’t taste fresh, the menu was limited, and the area had an unpleasant smell. The room was also quite small, and the phone didn’t work. We were out for over four hours the next day, and when we returned, the room still hadn’t been cleaned. When we went downstairs to ask for housekeeping, the staff made faces and were very unhelpful. Overall, it was a horrible experience and not worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless major improvements are made.

Have stayed multiple times at this property. Rooms are clean and functional, easy access to town of Allen, front desk staff awesome. It’s my first choice when traveling on business to this location.

What we thought was going to be a pleasant experience turned out to be gross and unfortunate as we encountered a giant roach in our room. This thing was huge. There was only one person working at the time so we had to wait awhile before he could come up and get it. We were unable to switch rooms due to occupancy being “full”. It was so gross! We hate bugs. We were told we would get compensated and that has yet to happen. The staff keeps saying I have to call to speak to the manager but yet every time I do that she’s not there. Why is management never there? Anyways, I’m hoping it was just a fluke and no one else has encountered roaches the size of Texas but unfortunately that kind of ruined our stay for us last weekend!

While I was booking the hotel, they mention me hot tub, but I never had hot tub. Breakfast was bad Customerservice. I waited around 30 minutes for the receptionist. I will never go back to that hotel anymore.

We try following reviews when choosing places to stay and was disappointed by a place (different hotel- different company) we stayed a week ago, but so glad we chose the Hyatt this time! It was clean (top priority), comfortable, spacious and modern. The price was spot-on for the accommodations and location. We will be staying here again and recommending to our friends and family.

Breakfast consisted of sausages, eggs, French toast, bacon, hash browns, an assortment of cereal, oatmeal, &different kinds of juices &milk. I feel there were a good amount of options for breakfast considering it’s a free breakfast. The room was very clean, but a lot of things didn’t work. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work so everything felt “wet,” the bed dipped so much it was one of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The room had a smoke detector that started to peep every so often. Husband called the front but they said their rooms were pretty much full, so we couldn’t switch. It was a pretty mediocre stay for what I paid, but I just feel it’s more the company’s negligence (nothing updated, terrible mattress, outdated rooms, etc) than the actual experience I was bothered by.

It was nice, could be better if it was staffed properly. The night I checked in it was one person at the counter and I had to wait a while since there were others needing things. Then the morning I checked out the one person a different one was on break so I had to go ask him where to put the room key in a office I seen him go into.

Hotel needs some updating. One elevator was out of service. The other elevator was very slow. Temperature in the dining area was very uncomfortable. Air conditioning was not working well at all!! No water pressure in shower. Beds were very comfortable. Thermostat in room was easy to adjust. Breakfast choices need to be updated and varied. Waffle iron would be nice.

Great stay! Close to everything that I needed

We got there late and the attendant wasn't very welcoming. The attendant had no name tag n in civilian clothes. We booked 2 separate days, had issues checking in on 2nd day, attendant wasn't sure how to do it and couldn't get our keys activated. Came back later in the day to wait for 1 attendant who was serving 3 ppl waiting in line. Once again no name tag or proper response to us asking if anyone else there to help and we were told he was the only one and had to wait to get our key activated. Breakfast was okay. Checkout was easy. Rooms didn't have lotion.

Called ahead for early check in, told to ask at arrival, told at arrival to come back at checkout time, told at checkout time I’d have to wait til regular check in time, all while seeing people check out since 7am. Manager finally found a clean room instantly when complained.

The front desk staff was more interested on his phone than in helping me with the check out. Completely unacceptable and rude. The hotel is old and just below average for the area and therefore overpriced. We come to Dallas often but we won’t stay here again.
