Hampton Inn Beloit

This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in! Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the staff super friendly, the room spacious, the bed comfy, and the bathroom and walk-in shower amazing! They serve a fresh breakfast that is over and above. No complaints!

It had an aroma that was very inviting. That is very important to me when I'm staying at a hotel.

The tub shower flipper did not work worth a dang, so my shower was not really a shower. More like a sprinkle.

Overall great stay for a couple days in the area for an event. Breakfast could have been better - both days went down for breakfast fairly early in the serving time window and everything was very overcooked. Could've just been an off weekend though.

Staff was warm and welcoming, cookies were a nice touch. The elevators made quite a bit of noise, questioning if it was going to get to your destination.

Hampton Inn is a great option for a stay in the Beloit area. The property is very clean with plenty of parking. Check-in and check out were very efficient and friendly desk staff. The AC worked great and despite being near a busy street - it was quiet in the room. I'd recommend on my next trip to the area.

This is a great hotel for several reasons. The staff is very kind and there is an up to date fitness center and pool.

Everything We had the room right above the lobby so the music that was playing outside at the entrance was very loud in our room at night when I was trying to sleep. Also you need better lighting in the pool area.

I called the hotel directly to see if I could book a pool party for my daughter's birthday. They said i needed to book two rooms for 6-9 kids to swim. Then when we all showed up they said only kids who are booked with a room can swim. I called them 3 different times to confirm over the course of the past two months!! Completely unacceptable!! Get your staff on the same page! Horrible! I have ZERO shame in admitting I still let all the kids swim. YOUR staff flat out lied to me on multiple occasions! I wasn't about to ruin my daughter's birthday because grown adults are incompetent!

Excellent stay. No front desk staff for about two hours in the very early morning (that we checked) but the staff we interacted with were wonderful, breakfast was delicious, and the room ideal. 5 Star Stay

Clean newish rooms, nice big shower, spacious with a desk to work at. Pleasant staff and they also stock drinks and snacks that aren’t super cheap, but they’re not airport prices either. Could have been 5 stars but the A/C and heater is a bit noisy. It woke me up at times during the night.

Staff.. not all but definitely 1. I’m not sure if she was a manager or what, but she was incredibly rude. Yelled at several people right in front of me. Middle aged black women with shoulder length hair. The rest of the staff was super kind.. hopefully this women just woke up on the wrong side of the bed and doesn’t talk to all the guests like that.

Staff was very pleasant very welcome in the hotel room was very clean immaculate everyone was there at your convenience. Make sure you’re comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would give it a five out of five I’m a travel nurse so it just works perfect.

Hotel was beautiful. Wifi didn't work. Staff need to crack down on unruly hockey kids everywhere. Running through the hotel and literally playing hockey the entire length of the hall.

It was a very nice place to stay

When I made the reservation through Expedia, I called the hotel. We were staying in in my town. Talk to the person who was on duty. I asked for a first floor room. I was told that would be no problem. She would make a note in the record for me so needless to say when we got there, I could not have one. They were all taken well. I doubt they were all taken because the place was barely occupied, and the young lady at the desk refused to allow my granddaughter who was the one I made the reservation for to get into the room or check in till I got there. I called I talked to him. I told him I was on my way that I had. She had permission from me and they refused well. She refused and then when I got there and asked her about it and told her that I made the reservation for my granddaughter. What was the big deal and it was policy she was just a little snotty about it. I didn’t appreciate it Not what I made my reservation for so it was inconvenient at the time. Besides that the room was ultra tiny you could barely get four or five people in there and it had two beds. It was so tiny smallest hotel room I’ve seen in 20 years. I don’t think I’ll be going back to the Hampton Inn again.

Staff was great, breakfast was one of the best we’ve had at hotels, they reacted very quickly when ever something came up.

The pool was out of commission for repairs, but we were able to use the pool at the sister property right on the same lot. At 11 o'clock at night, we were woken up by kids running in the hallway, screaming. And when we reported it to the front desk, they stated that it was a hockey tournament that they had a contract with and with their apologies, there was nothing they could do. We stated that was unacceptable , and they had no problem refunding our stay in full. I would reserve rooms with them again because they did the best they could in that situation.

Not anywhere in the reservation process was there a mention that they charge $75 for a pet. That was more than 50% if the the total room charge. The last Hampton was $20. Total GREED!

Fitness room was hot, one treadmill was down and the other one is not in good condition. That treadmill’s belt was not moving smoothly. Also there was no yoga mat etc.

This hotel was so clean and quiet, one would never know it's pet friendly! We never heard a peep from other guests on the floor above us or in the hallway. Breakfast was hot and full of variety.

Pet Friendly is the only entry regarding pets on the website-no information about fees or entering the pet on the reservation. This Hampton Inn informed me when I declared the pet that the fee was $75, which radically increases the cost of the stay. I can board my pet cheaper, and the hotel provides nothing for this exorbitant charge. I will not use this hotel again. Hotels.com needs to help its pet owner customers what to expect for pet fees before a reservation is made

Was in for a 4 day weekend at ABC Stadium. This location was a few miles away and took 10 minutes to get there. Around the hotel are restaurants and stores like Aldes and Walmart. Rooms are nice, and parking is adequate Breakfast is provided with typical self serve selections. Dining area is big so there no problem finding a table. If I’m back in this area would stay here again. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating.

Front desk staff Savannah was awesome and attentive. Room was clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was tasty and really good! But….. I had an odd interaction with an employee. I had just checked into the hotel. Went straight up to my room to put my bags down and as I walked into the room was cleaned but all drawers and doors to the microwave and fridge were open, chair in the corner of the room had the seat cushion flipped upright. I continue into my room and as soon as I put my bags down I was startled by the door to my room opening. A staff member walked in with a clipboard and I called out hello from around the corner. This person continued to walk further into my room and I said, hi I just checked in to this room. This person responds, “Oh. They let you in? Oh ok.” Proceeded to walk further into my room and check things off of her list on clipboard then shut all the doors and walked out. Like, thank God I was fully dressed… She never apologized for barging in. Unimpressed, I personally find that to be unprofessional.

This is our go-to home away from home when visiting family in the Beloit Area! The staff are always great, breakfast is great, and it's clean. That said, the property is starting to show its age in a few places and some "refreshing" seems to be hastily done like I can see brush strokes in the paint on door frames.
