I have stayed here many times, I am disappointed to hear that the bar/grill is downsizing the menu. It was always a pleasure to get a chef prepared hot meal while staying here, it really set the place apart from the rest. Now they will be serving frozen prepared foods no more homemade, very disappointing and heard much negativity from the regulars like me who ate here. Menu change!!

Clean, easy to park, close to what we wanted to see. The air conditioner was a significant problem. Coming on every 30 seconds to 3 minutes and being VERY loud it made it hard to sleep.

The bed was comfortable. The bedding was clean. The room was very clean and tidy. The room appeared to have been updated (carpeting, vinyl flooring, furniture) in the last 1 to 5 years. Breakfast was included. There were several hot items, not cooked to order. There was a basic cereal bar, breads, and packaged pastries. People walking upstairs were audible through the ceiling.

I have only wonderful things to say about my stay. The room was large and very clean. The hallways were clean and quiet. Lots of parking. The staff was kind and helpful. The amenities are so impressive for the value. I only paid $110 for a night. That came with complimentary drinks in the bar! And free breakfast! Wow. And the breakfast was great. Also the bed was so comfortable, unlike most hotels. I will be back!

So cozy and well-maintained! Great breakfast spread, and I love how it was so close to lots of other restaurants and shops, but yet just a little off the beaten path. Staff was very present and helpful. Loved that there’s an onsite bar/grill as well. I do wish the mattress was a bit softer, but the sheets, pillows, and towels were very soft. Out of all the hotels I looked at in the area for my trip, I am super grateful I found this place because it’s not only a great deal, but it’s actually clean and safe. Truly, a hidden gem!

Location was excellent

The electricity was out and we couldn’t get into our room until after midnight. The manager said she would refund the first night but then when booking.com called her she wouldn’t take the call or send an email to confirm my refund. It is very disappointing. I sent a tip to maintenance department as they were helpful. But I wouldn’t stay there. Then they said it’s a no refund hotel for any reason. The thing is I made sure with property manager and she assured me I would be credited. The night auditor thought it was more important to be talking to his friend on the phone instead of his clients and hush me and told me I was going to have to wait because it was important and had me stand there for over 20 minutes while he spoke to his father about getting him to check on his house. It was ridiculous.

Due to a storm the night before our stay, power was out and staff was working to find other accomodations, but luckily they had one unit with power that we could stay in. The staff worked hard to meet our requests and we were notified by text once power to the entire facility was up and running. The offer of a free drink in the bar was a nice surprise, although we were not able to take advantage due to a wedding we were at for the evening.

We paid for 5 studio suite rooms, but upon arrival the weather was very bad. A tornado took the power out. Of course there was no blame to the hotel. Our keys would not be able to work and therefore we couldn't check in. We were told by the kind staff on site to contact the managers or to leave my number and they would reimburse us for the rooms. 3 days passed and I did not receive a phone call so I called. I spoke to a very rude manager and was basically treated like I was bothering her with my questions as to how I can go about getting a refund. She obviously didn't know or was having a bad day and took it out on me. No problem... except that you are in the hospitality business and I have a choice where I want to receive that hospitality. Therefore 1 star review and I will contine to file a claim until I receive my money back.

I was in town during a storm that took out powered to the hotel. There was no way to contact the front desk and there was no info posted on the website. It was like the staff forgot they had guests

A bad storm hit and left the hotel without power. It must have only affected the hotel because power was on all around us. There was no backup emergency generator, no guest communication, the employees locked up the lobby and left. I require medical cpap and was forced to leave and drive home which was a 4 hr trip in severe weather. Not having an emergency guest plan and locking up the lobby and leaving was very unprofessional.

This was a real hidden gem! It was clean, the staff was friendly, and the amenities were more than we expected. I was extremely surprised to find Crabtree and Evelyn products in the bathroom! (some times it's the little things). We would definitely stay here again!

I would guess. Not sure how they fit so many kids in a room, but I counted at least 30 streaming into the room. Bass was thumping all night. I called the front desk twice to complain and then chose peace by putting in earplugs and ignoring the ruckus.

There was a long wait to check in but when it was my turn, it went quickly (I completed the pre check in prior to coming). The room was great. Very nice size for the money. There is also a small private balcony so it was beautiful. My friends and I enjoyed it very much and will definitely return. I rented the 1 bedroom suite and will try the loft out for the next visit. Very highly recommended. This place does not feel like a hotel but more like an apartment. My room came with a full sized refrigerator, a smaller one compartment deep sink and a compact stove and oven.

This property is fine with a very good breakfast. Nice and clean. The reason I chose this property was because it says they have a shuttle service but they do not. The guy at the front desk told me they did not. This is false advertising. I’m an older person who needed a ride from the airport only to find out they did not. Extremely disappointed.

This was an unusual place. You check in at a lobby, but all of the rooms are in separate buildings. When we got to our room, there was no remote for the tv. We called the front desk and all they could do was put us in another room, so my husband had to walk back to the lobby in the cold to get a new room key. Then we had to move all of our things to the new room. In the morning we had another cold walk to the lobby/eating area. Not a great place to stay if it’s cold or rainy.

This was an excellent place for my overnight stay. I had a king size bed/regular room. Super clean, very comfy space for one person. Quiet, I felt safe, wasn't worried in the least about being disturbed. Will definitely stay here again if I go to the Bloomington area.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Eastland Suites! The space was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t extend our stay because it was already booked up... we would’ve loved to stay longer!

We had the best experience. We had just had a baby at the Birth Center of Bloomington-Normal and needed to check-in to a hotel. We booked the hotel and then showed up at 7am to check-in. The staff was so kind and accommodating. The room we booked was not available yet so they upgraded us to a different room. The room was perfect and it allowed for us to have the best rest and the best meeting of the siblings experience with our other littles when they met their new baby sibling. 10/10 - will stay there again and recommend to everyone we can.

Checking in and out was a breeze thanks to pre-arrival and pre-check out reminders to complete online. Staff are friendly and room was lovely to stay in.

We stayed 2 nights. Couldn't get anyone to service our room after the 1st night. Every time we seen the staff, they were not working and either chatting with other staff members or were on their phones. I travel a lot and have never seen this before. There were 3 guys in the breakfast area on their phones standing by the food doing nothing.

This was a very nice and clean hotel. It is setup like apartment buildings with several buildings. Front desk was extremely pleasant, everything was very clean, breakfast was good and they even have a bar/snack lounge. Would absolutely stay here again.

Neighbors were terrible. Place reeked of marijuana. Front desk kept calling me asking me to be quiet and it was actually my neighbors next door. I could hear their loud inappropriate conversations while in the bathroom. It was a really bad experience.

The kitchen sink faucet was lose and dripped. Some of the metal surfaces in bathrooms had buildup, rust. I am by far, not as pickey as some. But simple fixes could get others to rate lower. My adult kids loved the space I lived in town but brought in a lot for the comforts of home and christmas Thank you..we will use again for other needs

State of illinois law states you must be 18 to stay at a hotel alone, and the host stated state law is 21. I as a parent spoke with her for permission and she still turned my daughter away. She was very rude throughout both conversations. I, and my daughter's boss both spoke with 2 other local large chain hotels and they both accepted her

The hotel itself was fine and the staff was all very friendly but there was a loud and off-putting experience at 3 am where our door was knocked on along with the sligmding glass door which was next to our bed, a lot of screaming outside and the couple in the next room having a loud heated argument. After being startled awake, it was impossible to go back to sleep.
