The pool was very cloudy and dirty. Foam beads floating in the pool, no place to put used towels, broken rafts laying around, kids unsupervised in the pool cussing and yelling. Woke up the next day and the pool look exactly the same as the day before. Dirty towels laying everywhere. Smelled like weed as soon as you walked into door 7,

Breakfast was not sufficient for the many guests at the hotel. Too long to wait for food when you are on a schedule.

AC was loud and took longer to cool. Also next door they have Bar which was quite active and noisy, seems like once bar closes at 2 am all were out in parking lot and partying outside with loud music. Was not able to sleep after 2 am due to outside noise.

When we first drove up I knew we were in trouble. The property looked completely worn down. The pictures are very deceiving. Had a problem with getting us checked in. I’m not sure if it was a computer issue or what but the front desk had to contact the manager to get it handled. The smell in the main lobby if you want to call it that was horrible. Musty. Smelled of smoke and drugs. After a long drive I just wanted to get to the room and try to relax. No elevator and the room was on the second floor. Through door 8 where we had to go smelled even worse. Just awful. Got to the room and the room was filthy. Wasn’t clean at all. Trash everywhere. Bedding was torn off the bed. There were used needles in the room for crying out loud. At that point I couldn’t do it. Went to the main desk again and requested a refund and cancellation. And this room was almost $200!! Stay away. Far away. This hotel needs to be shut down, I can’t believe they are even in business.

This had to be the absolute worse place I’ve have ever stayed at. I can’t believe that expedia recommended me to spend my one key dollars here. It was deplorable. It was so bad that couldn’t even spend the night here.

Breakfast was horrible. The rooms needed updated. There was holes in the curtains, I had to ask for toilet paper. The pull out couch was not a bed you could sleep on, needs updated. They had no extra pillows or blankets. Although it claims to be a nonsmoking establishment, the smell of smoke and marijuana was strong. Very disappointed. The check in staff was very nice.

Most of the electrical outlets did not work. The hair dryer sparked and smoked and was not usable.

The friendly staff. The value. Clean the room. There was garbage on the floor in the Bathroom. I picked it up. There was garbage under the bed. I picked it up. You could tell the carpet needed to be vacuumed. There was hair in the bathtub and sink.

Stale Breakfast, took 10-15 minutes for someone to be at front desk. Granted was during a Festival time and were a lot of guests. One room had non functioning toilet.

I didn’t like that the tub was dirty with pubs in it when we arrived. I didn’t like that the room key was deactivated at 8am even though check out was at noon . I didn’t like that the manager was rude .

Check in was terrible. Staff was inexperienced, had to call someone for help, wanted to take a photo or leave my credit card coz he doesn’t know how to process. The worst is charging $20/nite for my little dog while the advertisement says clearly $20. This is false advertisement. I told them that but it was too late at nite to argue & I am so tired from my long drive.

We noticed that the Owners / Management took over a large amount of the breakfast area, not having enough room for the guests to sit. Also if breakfast is served until 10am then you should make sure there is enough food and coffee until that time. Or change your policy to Food is served until 930. Also, taste the food before serving.

Service was decent. Smells very strongly of stale cigarette smoke and very musty. Bed was comfortable. Seemed pretty clean. Air in room not working right. Very hot. Probably would not stay here again.

Asked for a non-smoking room, got a room that wreaked of smoke. The refrigerator made terrible noises. The bathroom was in very bad shape, the toilet paper holder was smashed and the toilet paper was just sitting in there, the shower curtain rod was 8-10 inches lower on one side due to it being pulled down so many times. The outlet at the waffle maker was burnt and melted. It said online it was a $10 charge for a dog a night. It was $25 and when I told her about it, she wouldn’t look or change it. All night long you could hear doors slamming shut so our dog would bark every time he heard a door shut! Not a pleasant stay

Luckily the staff tried the credit card number and that pulled up the registration. Everything turned out great. and We have no hard feelings over this. Just hope my experience can help sharpen the system to better help other travelers.

The continental breakfast was disappointing even by cheap hotel standards. The Biscuits and gravy were good, but they served it everyday which was kind of a bummer, and the waffle iron left the waffles under cooked, so the options diminished each morning. The room also had some issues which created some minor inconvenience, and the pool was closed for cleaning for half of our stay, which was not great.

Very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms Lobby always. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again absolutely!

Sadly the halls smelled like cigarettes and pot. The pool looks nothing like the photos, the in room TV is like dorm small and the bathroom was pretty dirty.

The entire hotel smells faintly like smoke. Hallways are worse. My non-smoking room was not non-smoking.

I was not happy with our room.

It was ok…clean enough, but the furniture was worn down and the place is old and in need of repair. Loved the black out curtains, but did not like the noisy in-room air conditioner unit. The fan in the bathroom was also terribly loud and there was no way to turn on the bathroom light without the fan. Next time I’m in Bloomington/Normal I will search for a better hotel.

Need some updating, no closets in the room or iron.

The one nice thing is the mattress and pillows were very comfortable.

Could have used more outlets in the room, we had to unplug a lamp just to plug in coffee pot. No outlets to charge phones or devices without unplugging something. Looks like hotel was Hotel is in a good location plenty of things to do around it. Overall 3/5

We truly enjoyed our room and the jacuzzi tub in the room made for such a relaxing overnight getaway.

Decent place to stay for the price. Lobby coffee was cold and almost empty at 4 am but it was quickly resolved.

They are pretty friendly which is super helpful when you travel with two large fur babies.

We had cockroaches in our first room that was coming out of the floor so we ended up switching rooms. Well the second room was not good either! Woke up during the night to go to the bathroom and seen about 15 in the bathtub. The lobby however was very clean. The manager at the front desk was also very nice.

Good value, clean, a good night’s sleep. Not the most aesthetically pleasing place, with hallways smelling of weed, but it worked out for us and was also very close to our event.

I liked the jacuzzi tub and the price but it was very dirty and there was a roach on the wall. I asked the front desk for cleaning spray I had to clean the tub, toilet and the shower. I should really get a discount !!

Property is older but newly remodeled. Front desk was nice, rooms clean, good restaurants close by. We'd stay again. Perfect for a quick overnight for us on a long road trip.

The room, and service was great. The freezer in the refrigerator was just about frozen over and someone near my room, was using Marijuana regularly. The hallway was very pungent.

I planned a last minute trip on Expedia they had a king suite with pictures of a room with a jacuzzi in it when we arrived that was not the case it was just a king suite. (Not the hotel fault expedia needs to update their photos) it also stated it was in “the university area” but was no where near the university and i shouldve double checked the address but point in case its overall miss leading. The hotel on the other hand was dirty their were crumbs of food on the floor around furniture (leading to our worries for bugs) and a majority of it was behind the furniture including hair fingernails and who knows what else. The lady ( I believe her name was hailey) at the front desk was very polite and I appreciate her patience and she did give us a few rooms to look at after telling her that room was dirty (they were all dirty) we then told her a room was okay bc at the time we were figuring out what to do thinking we were screwed bc we passed the cancellation date. And all of the issues we had are out of her control. Going back to expedia misleading the area i would be staying in i am from this area and moved out of state i know this area and it is not safe i am a women in my early 20s and whether i am with someone else or not i am aware im a target. I realize that thats not something in the hotel or expedias control but there are things here that can be fixed for the health and safety of others who choose to stay here.

In giving the staff five stars I am referring to the one person with whom I had any contact--the woman woman who admitted us upon our arrival at 8 pm. Very helpful and professional.

Pleasantly surprised. For a basic hotel it was clean and kept.

Plusses: my dog and no upcharge, could walk dog in the morning, location. Minuses: room was barely clean - fridge was unplugged and not so clean. heat/cool system leaks. items in room in disrepair or about to fall apart (EX: shower curain rod). While well-lit and on a busy road, felt a little unsafe when I had to walk my dog at night or early morning.

We stay at the property when we pass through town. It's easy to get in and out of the parking lot when towing a trailer. The breakfast is usually pretty mediocre even for a budget hotel so don't expect much, but Indian restaurant next door is a reason to stay here all by itself. Try the Afghani Chicken Kabobs.

The breakfast was pretty lackluster, the coffee was the worst part. I was glad for yogurts and cereal. The rooms are clean but old.

Stayed here for the weekend with my partner. From the outside it looked not so great but I was presently surprised by the inside. Our room was clean and comfortable and the price point was very affordable. There was also a free breakfast which was nice (waffle maker, toast, cereal, biscuits & gravy, and eggs). Again, I was pleasantly surprised for the price point.

People were smoking pot in their rooms or hallways and as such it smelled awful in the hallways. The rooms were paper thin so I could hear everything all the time. My window was broken so it couldn't be locked and since I was on the first floor I was incredibly nervous. The main door number 7 was broken so you could walk in and out at any time. The sheets were dirty so I slept on top of the blanket. The carpet left dirt all over my feet when I walked around without shoes. It did not look like what it was portrayed in pictures. I will say the good things: The desk people were nice and the breakfast/coffee was hot. However I will not stay here again

I was just looking for a quiet one night stay, I have stayed here before but it was under renovation.

this hotel is shaped like an L. The wing that is furthest from the front desk smells terrible of smoke. The smell was so bad our eyes were burning and our close reaked. There were holes patched and furniture falling apart. We we were there for a cheer competition so had no option to go somewhere else. There is no way that the owners/management can't smell this, it smells like an astray.

This hotel was a dump. It was dirty and thrown together. The hallways had this smell to them, the furniture is old and worn out, and the rooms just seemed dirty. The heat was on, and a puddle of water rest on top of the heater. We won't be staying again. I feel ripped off by the price.

The bed and sheets are soft and comfortable, we liked that. Wish the light in the bathroom was not hooked to the exhaust system so they could be turned on separately. When the bathroom light is turned on during the night you have all the noise of the exhaust which is to loud.

It was nicely decorated and clean with updated furnishing. We were kindly given a great room that we didn’t request. We were in town for a concert one evening, we would rent here again. The breakfast has hot and cold options. Waffles, eggs, juice bar. Overall exceeded our expectations

The hotel was great and clean and the breakfast was also good. My only issue was the smoke smell in the hallway. I booked a non smoking room but when you step outside the room it reeked of smoke. Other than that I would stay here again.

We did not even stay. We left the first night. Smelled like cigarettes and weed in the halls. Shady people hanging around outside the entrance. Not happy at all. A total waste of money. I was told I cannot get my money back even though we did not stay due to a no cancellation policy.

Definitely not a “quality inn”. Even though the rooms say they are “non-smoking”, they and the entire property just reek of smoke - got a headache as I am very sensitive to that smell.

Mixup with Expedia on duration and payment, however the woman at the front desk was very rude and accusative. Property is run down, carpets old and stained, the whole place felt dirty. The bathroom floor was dirty. Otherwise, it was a bit below average overall, in my experience.

The room had a foul smell & the hallways had food on the floors for the entire time we stayed there. The guide on the tv didn't work & the bedroom floor was soaking wet around the air conditioner.

Gave us a room with roof leaks and a totally wet carpet in the room.

Ripoff prices because shortage of Summer Olympics.Hotel is old ,needs desperately a new coat of paint.My double queen mattress was very uncomfortable.I didn't eat the free breakfast because it looked unappetizing .The thing I'm angry about it is their coffee.I know that some people no longer drink coffee ,but red Blooded Americans love their coffee( Right after their beer)This coffee was primitive ,kind dark lukewarm water.I know it's a hard review, but I had much better room and coffee at Motel 6 .Fix the A/C unit ,it sounds like an 18 wheeler engine.Sorry.

The suite was filthy, food and flower remnants all over. Floor was dirty and had not been vacuumed or cleaned. Room smelled like those cigarillos and there was ash on the floor by the window. For a non smoking room this was terrible. They didn't have another suite for me. I asked for an hour later chrckout time and at 11am they started calling the room asking when we were leaving ...... not a great experience will not be back

The property was gross!! The room was disgusting. We found bugs on our mattress after we all woke up with tiny bumps on us! Also found some type of pills or tablets spilled behind the tv. The mattress was disgusting! This was for my daughters 13th birthday and we couldn’t even enjoy it!!

Mattress had just a mattress pad on it! Room 227 mattress had dried spilled drink or blood on it.

Been a great experience. Always staying here no question about it. Love it! Comfortable beds and clean place. Breakfast is awesome.

Hotel was fine for our needs. A little old and run down looking. Could hear people arguing at about 1 in morning and loud talking at 3am. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was better than expected. Hotel was close to shopping and to the golf course for daughters tournament. Would probably try a different hotel next time but the price was really good. You get what you pay for and I got what I expected.

Quiet, seems like it was well kept, close to several restaurants but off the main highway. Only thing that was a bit of a bummer was carrying my heavy bags up the stairs because there wasn't an elevator, but otherwise I enjoyed my stay.

The air/ heater sucks noisy but if you shut it off the fan runs every 20 minutes for 10 seconds just enough to wake you up.

Excellent staff. We booked a smoking room. When we arrived the smoking rooms were booked. They were nice enough to open another room to smokers so we didn’t have to go to a different hotel. It seems that smokers are the only group allowed to be discriminated against. And they treated us as any other valued customer.
