It was clean and the staff was nice It has some repairs that didn’t look complete in the room I was in making it unappealing. Breakfast was not good

We have stayed at Hampton properties on many occasions, this one was very disappointing. At check in, I waiting at the front desk for what felt like forever. In reality maybe 5 minutes? When the front desk attendant finally appeared they kind of shrugged it off with a "sorry for the wait". We moved on, and got to our room. We noticed that overall it was very warm through out the hallways and lobby. When we got to our room it was also very hot, so we do crank up the A/C. We then decided to try out the pool. The water was very cloudy, but we decided to try it out. We got in and it was pretty cold but bearable. The more concering piece was the things we kept finding at the bottom of the pool. My husband picked up one of the things to discover a rusted out bolt. Then we saw the ladder in the deep end had a step the was half off, and that is where the bolt came from. More pieces fell off. We also picked up multiple pieces of what looked like broken tiles. We took that to the front desk and they seemed mildly concerned. Back to our room, we walk in and hear the shower going. Neither of us had used that yet, so that was super confusing. we think it starts from running water when someone above us showers. The toliet also never stops running. Even when you wiggle the handle it still goes. There was a lamp on the wall that was not fully attached either. We alerted the front desk at check out, and they did not really react to it.

Bathroom ceiling was peeling. The toilet paper holder was not tightened so the toilet paper kept falling on the floor.

Location Front desk girl was rude, didn’t greet us, and didn’t mention the free breakfast that was included nor the times. We felt like we were an inconvenience to her.

The food was pretty good and the location was fine. In my son's room there were litttle ants. (Rm324) In my room 104, the toilet seat kept pinching my thigh when I sat on it.

Rm 305 - the bathroom outlets did not function!

Breakfast was good. We asked for clean towels and for one of beds to made as we spilled coffee on the sheet and pillow. They gave us a new sheet and pillow case to take up to our room and said fresh towels would be delivered later when they were available and that our bed would made. We returned about six hours later and our bed was not and the dirty towels were still on the bathroom and there were no clean towels. We had to go down to desk and get new towels and to make the bed by ourselves. the remote didn't work even after installing new batteries. The desk clerk said she checked it out and was fine. However it did not work properly for us. Also I think having the coffee pot in the bathroom is unsanitary. It should be put somewhere else.

Clean quiet room, friendly staff, warm pool, standard breakfast. I don't stay at Hamptons for the food, but I do like their standards for keeping rooms clean and updated.

Great location, it was super quiet the whole stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. In my opinion it was a great price for new year eve/day. Right off the highway with tons of stuff to do around the local area. This will definitely be my go to hotel to stay at from here on out!

The property was nice and clean. The breakfast was OK. This is my second time staying there and I believe you all can do better on the breakfast. Food was not all of that. I had to switch rooms the first room I had didn’t have any heat the second room that they gave me. The heat was a little bit better, but it could’ve had more heat.

Complimentary breakfast was definitely appreciated. And conviniently located near Highway. Will stay again.

It was so noisy and hotel is full of pollution, rooms smell all high way dust. There's a shortage of food in breakfast. Banana just $5 you can get plenty hotel people are so cheap cannot afford bananas.

We did not eat breakfast there The location was good and the room was nice and large and the bed was comfortable staff was very pleasant The room had no air vent in the bathroom in our refrigerator was not very cold even after turning it down also the pool was very cold not heated and the back door that faces the Hilton we were constantly being locked out and having to go around to the front

Everything was excellent. I particularly appreciated the room; I had a multiple-bed studio that was very spacious and well appointed, maximizing all of the space in the room.

We had an excellent one night stay for a concert. Everything was clean, the staff was nice, and we enjoyed our breakfast!!

Breakfast was good though the buffet could have contained more variety of items. But food was delicious and fulfilling! Could have sprayed for bugs overnight as there some in the dining room. Good hours for breakfast and dining room was clean. Probably spray with bug spray and mop thoroughly in the dining room and wipe all tables with disinfectant before guests arrive in the morning. This can be done during close or overnight hours or a few hours before breakfast.

Convenient location

They then said the individual I was traveling with did Not have a reservation. After insisting that this person did not have a reservation showing after they showed proof; they found the reservation. They then explained that they may not be able to cancel the ‘extra’ room they said I had after I proved I didn’t reserve 2 rooms. And they insisted that it was Hotels.com’s error. Keep in mind I received confirmation of ONLY 1 room from hotels.com. We believe they were gonna say the person traveling with me was a NO SHOW & charge their credit card as they allowed this person a room under the ‘2 rooms’ they said I had. They would’ve billed for 3 rooms & only used 2. Charging my friend 2 times.

It was terrible. I will Never stay at a Hampton Hotel again. I was so concerned of what they would do i took pictures of the room so they could not come back and say something. The phone in the room did not work. It looed like they had mold on the ceiling. Had a problem with the fridge but i figured it out.We had a friend who need a hotel for a few days, we told them not to come there....and they did not. They clean the rooms every 2 days, when ut came time to clean my roon on the day they were supposed to ckean. They showed up at 5:30pm OMG.

Everything was very good. I had a very pleasant and enjoyable trip and it was due partly to my stay at this hotel!

Lovely hotel. But they just need to clean a little better. There was hair on the bathtub and on the toilet.

Expedia's description on the website specifically stated it had a hot tub. There wasn't one and that's why we chose this hotel. I expect s refund since you lied about amenities.

Very nice. Standard breakfast. Had eggs, sausage and fresh fruit plus waffles etc. room was very clean and comfy. Only downside is the beds were very firm. My back was sore after 6 nights. Road noise from I-55 truck traffic was a bit loud at times. Be sure to book a room away from the highway. All else was very nice.

Instead of being angry about the falsw advertising, i stayed 2 of the 3 nights amd found a hotel with one. Now, they refuse to refund my unused night. Never will i use Hampton Inn OR Expedia!

I booked through a website which stated both pool and hot tub were available, but there was no hot tub!

The front desk staff person came off as not very friendly. An example included when I had to get my key reprogrammed to enter fitness room, this individual acted inconvenienced. When the key still didn’t work on the door, I didn’t even attempt to go back to the front desk.

Front desk staff was not friendly at all. Seemed irritated when I asked for additional towels and a question about splitting the bill. I guess room service was supposed to be requested but I wouldn't know because front desk gave no info except handing me the room key. The room itself was fine, except there were pills left on the bathroom floor.

This property has been renovated. I was actually confused when I arrived and thought I was at the wrong hotel. The photos here look dated, but it is completely modernized now.. rooms, lobby, exterior and all. Check in was quick and easy. Breakfast offerings are typical but nice. The pool was actually pretty warm and we enjoyed it as well. Right off the interstate but in a quiet little strip of hotels. Nice stay overall.

I liked that the hotel was renovated and clean. I appreciated how clean the hotel and our room was. There were a decent number of options for breakfast and the coffee was out in the lobby all throughout the day.

Heater made noises all night long, breakfast hot food was horrible. Waffles was ok. When leaving to check out, the front desk lady was not very friendly.

Also, the toilet seat was loose in our room. Overall, the place was clean, breakfast was better than a lot of the free breakfasts. Staff was nice, but we were only there to sleep one night so never even got a chance to tell the staff about the issues.

It was very busy due to soccer teams being there for playoffs. Made a difficult to get in and out of the kitchen area when these large groups are there.

we had the best experience checking in, the front desk girl Shaesta was absolutely wonderful she helped up with our problem and made everything go smoothly. Also, the women that works in the kitchen also very friendly and always has a smile and kept everything clean and full.

It is undergoing updating and construction. It wasn’t bad. We could hear a little bit of hammering but didn’t disrupt our stay. The bed was very comfy. The shower was hot and had great pressure. The TV was big and great especially since we stayed in on Saturday and watched college football. Breakfast was average. It was good. Place was clean. It would have been great if they had a hot tube. Not sure why so many don’t have these. As an adult I would rather get in the hot tube rather than pool.

New refurbishment looks great. No tub...but that's okay. Music channels on TV could have been available. Don't allow me to nitpick. Love the property. Convenient...clean....my first choice in Bolingbrook. And I'm a residence inn guy....which is right across the street.

Our room had no water pressure and could not be fixed. My family and I arrive late had to wait until next day to get a different room . Staff was apologetic and helpful. Nevertheless disappointed for a well respected hotel

The hotel was ok overall, but they kept vacuuming in front of our room for the longest time with the vacuum making a horrible sound. The walls of the hotel were thin and we could hear people walking/talking in the hallways.

Teach your check-in staff the difference between left and right. When a guest says they really have to go to the bathroom before checking in, don't tell him the restroom is to the left down the hall, when it really is to the right.

We booked a room for 5 people through Expedia. Received a room for 4 people. Were told our reservation from Expedia went through as a standard room, which sleeps 4 people.

They were doing construction so we were unable to sleep both times I was banking on getting sleep, and the noise gave me a migraine, VERY LOUD. Also no hot tub as advertised. would have never booked if I would have known any of this!

I wasn't expecting the breakfast to be a variety as it was, We loved the waffles.

Construction was going on during the weekend. We were there to celebrate our wedding night and they started very noisy construction in the beneath us at 10am on a Sunday!! I know 10 am isn’t early but on a Sunday? Check is noon they could have started then.

The only thing I don't like about booking on a third party site is that they won't allow you to make any room changes even though they're available. I booked 3 rooms for a family event for overnight and i asked to change one of my double bed rooms to a king size so that my son and his new wife could have a king and they couldn't because it was "booked on a third party site"

We traveled back to town for mom's birthday and need a place to stay while having our 2 dogs with us. When I checked in they told me i had reserved a ADA room. And I told them i had 2 dogs with us and they changed my room to a suite on the first floor. Was a very nice big room for the 3 of us plus 2 dogs.

Easy exit from 55 so as to be close to go to Chicago. Reasonable price,friendly staff, clean but simple. Pool closed at this time, wish we would been notified prior to reservations. Room is Suite but there is not a separate room with the couch, it is all one room.

The TV service wasn't user friendly

The pool was shut down for maintenance but no prior indication was made to me until I was completely checked in and started walking away. She did offer us the availability of the pool at the hotel next door but I wasn’t taking my kids out in the cold with wet heads after swimming. I am still upset.

The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful. They helped me to resolve an issue with Expedia including talking to Expedia a representative. The matress was very firm and the pillows very soft which i personally did not enjoy however others might. My only actual complaint was on how quickly they wrap up breakfast. I got down at exactly 10am and the food to the area were closed and no options were available to include fruit and pastries which most places have available longer. All in all I would stay here again and recommend it to other travelers.

If we have an opportunity to visit this area again, we will definitely book with you.

The location was very convenient. The room was clean and the layout was great for spending time with family. The mattress was firmer than I prefer but not a deal breaker.

Not bad other then hair in jacuzzi tub and on conditioner bottle in shower. Clean sheets and breakfast was pretty good.

I travel 169 nights a year - front desk was deceptive - added things to my bill w/o agreement - spent way long w my ID & credit card -only to have fraud charges an hr later( 1st time ever - 30 years ) Hampton’s are fine - this operator NOT.

Breakfast was not worth the wait coffee was good.

We had problems at check-in, the reservation was canceled before we checked and we were told there were no rooms available. This issue was eventually resolved. Has one elevator, causes a long wait time trying to get to your room.

The hotel was clean and the check in staff very friendly. Our room was a king size and it was spacious and clean. The bathroom was spacious and clean as well. The breakfast was fine, would love to have more options in yogurt and not just strawberry-banana. The only downsize was internet was not working. We stayed Friday thru Sunday and they couldn’t get it fixed. We were fine as we were there to visit family- not work. They were very apologetic.

The entire staff was very accommodating & friendly. Check-in was a breeze. The room was immaculant & one of the cleanest properties I have visited in years. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the blackout curtains did their job. And the breakfast options were varied and quiet tasty! Will absolutely stay again.

The called me at 6pm on the day of my check in and said the hotel was overbooked and they were canceling my reservation. We had to scramble and find an other hotel. I made the reservation months in advance so this was a total nightmare. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL

The pillows were very soft. A bit too soft for my liking but that is the only complaint I have. It was an enjoyable stay.

Didn't like the bedding--duvet stuffed with heavy quilt was not comfortable for sleeping. Unstuffed too chilly, stuffed too heavy and cumbersom.

I enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning. That saved my family money and allowed us more time to enjoy our trip without having to figure out where to eat.

The service was great! The folks at the front desk were warm and friendly. Likewise, there was very little in terms of snacks and refreshments available. The elevators were also old and creaky. The fitness center was great, and so was the breakfast.
