    We didn’t have a lock to the bathroom and the sofa bed turned out to be a twin bed not a queen size. Also the AC was working at a time and sometimes wouldn’t work. The staff in the night shift were nice, the lady was very friendly and kind. However, the staff who were checking us out seemed argumentative and impatient.

    This is an excellent property, and I will stay here again the next time I’m in the Chicago area. The room was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the pool was well-maintained and a comfortable temperature for swimming. Excellent value.

    We booked a king room and got a room with 2 queen beds. Kings were not available. In the morning there was enough coffee for 1-1/2 cups. I let the front desk know. They took the coffee pot from the table and never came back with a replacement.

    Had trouble getting into the room upon check-in-- had to come all the way back down from the 5th floor to reception carrying bags to have maintenance paged to reset the door lock to our room. Room was only semi updated. Lots of scuffed walls/baseboards, and there appeared to have previously been a door from the bedroom to bathroom sink area -- door missing, but metal frame/track was still exposed. Had housekeeping attempt to enter the room shortly after 8am, then they attempted to enter the room a couple hours later -- still before our check out time. There were no "do not disturb" placards, thankfully we had engaged the safety latch or we would have been barged in on. Would probably not stay here again.

    Breakfast we thought was included and it was $15 per person as an extra fee. At 8:30AM house keeping knocked on our door to clean the room/ for us to check out. Check out time was noon. Room wasn’t dirty, but was overly clean. I will not stay there again.

    Overnight hall man harassing the kids, knocking on the door,watching them do tick tock etc. I didn't like that the sauna was closed down but it's still advertised online site to book. I also don't like the fact that the 40 dollar hold was not voiced or spoken of before being charged , and they don't show it on the print out of payment.

    Everything went very well with our stay. We traveled late, and the hotel did a courtesy call to validate we were on the way. The room was clean, the hot tub was clean & hot, and pool was very warm. The only thing on my wish list is some EV chargers in the parking lot, but otherwise this is an excellent place to stay!

    We were put on thr 5th floor as far awaybas possible from the elevator. There was food left in the fridge, the thermostat display was not working, i paid for 3 days of breakfast voucher with Saturday and Sunday supposed to be a buffet and neither day was there a buffet. Then I had to pay extra to get a side of bacon. Saturday there was no orange juice. There were young kids that were allowed to be unsupervised in the pool area and then they were running the halls knocking on doors and yelling. Front desk did nothing. We will utilize the Holiday In express in the future.

    It was dirty,the pool was crowded with people who were not watching their children,they overcharged me 100 for nothing claimed it was a deposit and I'd get it back when I already paid online ..I never got that back .no breakfast either disappointed

    The pool and hot tub are attached so the pool is pretty warm. The kids love it. The staff here is amazing. Tremel is the man, the most helpful. And Justin is during the day and also amazing!!!!!! There is no free breakfast like the cheaper hotels because this is upscale, but the breakfast and the burgers are delicious and keep us coming back. Don’t stay on the expressway side. Can’t get away from traffic noise at most hotels but the other side is quieter. ENJOY!

    Our key card constantly would not work so we had to keep going back and forth downstairs… which the front desk attendant was always gone so we had to stand there and wait …. Also we got told that the restaurant was going to be open and had family from out of town come with us so that ended being crappy

    The room we booked through Expedia was for one that slept 6. We arrived after a day of traveling to find that this Holiday Inn only had rooms that slept up to 5. They offered us to pay them for a second room to allow a bed for each of our party. The only other option they have was for them to give us pillows and blankets to make a bed on the floor. We were very frustrated and disappointed to have been put in this situation and not get what we had paid for, or have the Hotel take responsibility for accepting a reservation for 6 when they knew they only had rooms sleeping 5. They blamed Expedia, which I can agree they share some of the responsibility too for not having correct information. But the hotel at some point accepts and schedules the reservation from Expedia so they should flag it at that point and notify the customer so they don’t arrive to find they do not have the room they paid for. The hotel offered nothing for this mistake except for us to pay them more money for a second room. To make matters worse the 5th bed was a pull-out from a love seat and it was a lumpy compressed mattress that was terrible to sleep on. I took a photo of it, it was so bad. We have been to other Holiday Inns before with no issues. So this was very surprising and disappointing to encounter on our trip. It speaks to the companies lack of customer care for them to not take responsibility for this mistake and rectify it.

    Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The location was perfect. There were lots of restaurants and stores nearby. It was close to the expressway, although it didn’t sound like there was an expressway nearby. The rooms were really quiet too. The food in the bar was great! I appreciated a fresh cook free breakfast, as opposed to the usual buffet. There was a nice selection of options too. The hot tub and pool were clean and at great temperatures. Love, the fact that it wasn’t in the middle of the lobby in a glass room. I was able to bring my dog with me and she hardly knew there were people walking around outside our room. No one seemed to be picking up the trash from the dog park area. There were lots of beer cans in the garbage can for the dog waste disposal and it was overflowing.

    Very happy with our stay. We stayed in a king suite which was very spacious. Room was very clean. Breakfast was very good. Coffee was good. The pool was big. The surrounding area had Starbucks, fast food, restaurant next door and in the hotel. Nearby was a Walmart supercenter, lidl, etc stayed here for a baseball tournament. Hotel staff was the highlight of our stay. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful especially the young woman at check in. Restaurant staff were also very nice. Good experience overall.

    My husband and I were traveling with 2 golden retrievers, ultimately en route to Los Angeles. The suite we had was a good size for the 4 of us. The king size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was equipped with all the amenities we needed. Lastly the outdoor space for dogs was very accommodating. Recommend to anyone staying in Bolingbrook, with great access to Highways I55, I 80, 355 and other connections in every driving direction.

    WAIT TIL END!!!!! Our family was in town for a funeral we live in Minnesota. Everything was great to the staff that checked us in down to the restaurant connected to the hotel. Our kids enjoyed the pool and everything was great until our last day. We thought check out was at 3p, but our mistake it was noon and this guy who says he was a manager was rude to us our kids and especially my husband when we asked why people kept trying to enter our room with our kids inside? We went to pick up breakfast around the corner and was told we need to check out. No worries we started packing but the "manager" kept flirting with me and my husband stepped in and he wanted to fight my husband which was very unprofessional and inappropriate! Then made threats to him and said i can come back anytime with a wink. Even though our family trip started off great the end will have us NEVER coming back to this hotel! BEWARE of the day shift manager I will be getting his name and reporting him it was ridiculous!

    Had a wonderful stay. Convenient. Clean Room. And amazing staff. Only negative was there was a large population of rude and loud people late into the night. Running and yelling hallways. Jumping around and shouting in the room above us. I remained patient and didn't call on them so that is on me. But that was the draw back spending hours in bed waiting for it to be quiet enough to sleep. Front desk workers were amazing all around however. Room was comfortable.

    This stay was one of the worst I’ve had. My initial assigned room was incorrect so we walked into an occupied room and then the front desk couldn’t believe it and questioned me on it. They did figure out that it was the incorrect room and assigned us another one. The second room had no heat and would only put out cold air. When I went to the front desk they said they would try to fix it and have us come back down when we got back from dinner to let them know if it still wasn’t working - not sure why they didn’t just move us rooms since it wasn’t likely to get fixed. After arriving back my keys wouldn’t work for the door so I went back down to the front desk and was rudely interrupted by an employee that I wasn’t even speaking with about how my phone deactivated the keys. I’ve never had that happen before, but I didn’t like the way he was speaking to me like I was dumb. After getting back into our room, we noticed that they had turned the “heat” back on so it just got colder in the room. I went back to the front desk and told the lady so she assigned us another room - luckily the person I was traveling with stayed in the room since she told me once she changed my keys that I couldn’t get back in even though our stuff was still in there. There was no offer of help or apology for the inconvenience. The room we ended up in smelled like someone had been smoking something in it or one of the rooms next door which made it hard to sleep. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

    Loved the nice guy at the front desk . Wish I got his name but he was there between 4pm and 10pm when we were there. The waitress for breakfast was very nice and helpful. My kids LOVED the pool ..we frequent hotels but this was by far one of the best hotels weve been in! The environment was great and I would recommend if you have a family or pet ! No bugs and very clean .

    This was not a clean facility. My first room smelled like a dog and the second one in replace of that one, stained rug and just not clean looking. My daughter's room, the air conditioner vent was laying on the floor, not even attached to the unit. However, the staff and manager was very understanding when my family and I decided to go else where for our weekend visit. I appreciated him for that. He did not give us a hard time at all. Credited us back right then and there. So kudos to him for his kindness.

    Everything about this trip could have gone wrong, but thanks to the expertise of the staff at this Holiday Inn, it turned out wonderfully. Starting at check-in, there was an immediate issue with all the rooms in my reserved block being charged to the wrong card. The manager seamlessly resolved this issue, ensuring it didn’t cause me any stress. The check-in process was quick and smooth, with everyone being friendly and kind. The room was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was phenomenal. As someone who is very picky about showers and usually dislikes the hotel shower experience, I was blown away. I actually took four showers during my two-day stay because it was just that good! The hotel is in a great area with plenty of DoorDash options that delivered right to my room, so I never even had to go down to the lobby. My only complaint was the noise in the hallways and the slamming doors. Soft-close doors would make a huge difference, as the loud slams actually shook the room a couple of times. That’s the only improvement I’d suggest for this location. On a brighter note, the hotel bartender, Alan, was gracious, knowledgeable, and made an incredible margarita. We visit this area often because my family lives nearby, and we’ve always stayed at a boutique hotel in the past. However, after this experience, I’ll never go back there—this Holiday Inn will be my go-to hotel for every visit. Highly recommend!

    Staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful. The manager helped take our bags up to our room which I have never stayed someplace in Illinois where that occurred! Was pleasantly surprised. Beds were comfy. While the room was relatively clean and dusted, the curtains were horrible and the walls needed to be cleaned or painted. The thing above the curtains were horribly dirty and coming off the wall. I think they're called valances. Avoid the breakfast! I purchased my room with breakfast, and we went down to eat. The French toast was mushy, the sausage links tasted rank, the potatoes tasted like they were in the microwave too long! It was such a waste of money. We had vouchers for three breakfasts and never used the other two. If I was to stay here again it won't be until after the rooms are updated

    Staff were great. Pool was awesome and warm! Snack shop was nice. Bar was visually nice but lacked any music which was a bummer. I would have rather had music than listening to a marvel movie. Breakfast buffet in the morning was great. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

    No toliet paper! They only gave me a quarter roll to start with. When I asked for more they said they had none in the whole hotel! What!? How does that happen at a major hotel brand. Also my heater squeaked all night. Definitely will not be back

    The HVAC needs to be replaced. Its so loud we had to turn the unit off to sleep. The shower set up is a bit wonky with the handheld added on and put in the corner. Overrall good stay.

    This on a road with several hotels, but lots of traffic and can be loud. It does have a mediocre restaurant next door. It's convenient. If you are visiting friends/family in the area, I recommend. Has a pool, too.

    I needed a few days just to rest and reset before traveling back home after the holiday. The room was okay, there were no trash bags and the tub had hair in it but all n all the room was standard for a Holiday Inn. The staff was ok, never really attentive at the desk but the lady that checked me in was sweet. Saturday into Sunday was absolutely horrible. There was a hotel party going on with young adults and teenagers that turned into a brawl. All night they werre screaming, running through the halls calling additional people to show up at the hotel. There was a girl begging for a dude to leave because he was fighting her and he refused. I called the front desk twice , the first time whoever answered kept screaming they couldnt hear me. The second call it took several rings for someone to finally answer. I explained the situation twice over the phone as the screaming escalated to banging down doors. Finally after some time police showed up but that escalated to more screaming and physical altercation between the cops and the guest. From 3 something in the morning to 5 it was just screaming. I could never go back to sleep no one checked on the guest or offered any type of compensation. There's no free breakfast and the so called restaurant is not a restaurant. I filed a complaint on the hotel because since when is underage drinking hotel parties ok and allowing distrubance ok? Will not be returning.

    Every single day of our 4 day stay our room key stopped working. They kept saying they are sensitive. Sensitive to what? Getting hours old? We were hyper cautious not to put near phones, magnets or practically anything else with the same results. The room was okay and the hotel felt clean.

    I reserved a room with two beds for a family trip with 3 adults and 1 child. Upon check in we were given a room with a single king bed. No rollaways available, no other rooms available and were told there was “nothing they could do”. Totally unacceptable. They did move us the next day, but we’re unapologetic and unhelpful about the reservation being wrong. They also kept referring to our “3 night stay” when it was for two. We crammed into the room for the night as it was our only option, and an hour later an employee knocked on the door because “they almost assigned someone else to this room but I wanted to check first”. Yes, it was already take. Upon check out our receipt showed “no show-THELMA”, and I have no clue who that was but all the more sure they completely screwed up our reservation and gave our room to someone else. No compensation offered or other help.

    Overall good area, rooms nice and clean. A little out dated pool and hot tub area very nice, breakfast menu was awesom!! We did have tv issues/no tv first night of stay and our TV was older and the volume was erratic when watching TV at night. The tv provider got the tv service remedied on second day of stay. 2 things I that made this 4 star over all- 1 room door didn't secure tightly even with the deadbolt, it was shut and locked but felt unsecure. 2-Bathrrom tub and shower curtain were very outdated and dingy.

    I have to say one of the staff at the front desk on the morning shift has a 0 customer service ,the room wasn’t well cleaned ,the TV service were down the whole night and I asked and seems like very usual to have this issue ,breakfast and dinner are good and good service.

    The stay was good. It was the breakfast that was terrible. 50 dollars for 4 people, for a breakfast thats free at most hotels. Scrambled eggs were standing in water, potatoes were rock hard, and your choice of cold coffee, or warm water to drink.

    We were so delighted and enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Bolingbrook, Il. We had the Hotel Suite with King size beds with the perfect comfortable mattress and lots of room in the suite. Everything is excellent eg. cleanliness, quietness, breakfast food, drinks in the hotel restaurant, customer service etc. Except when we checked in & out. That was a horrible experience ever!! Very bad transactions that happened during check in and after checking out!! I need an explanation as to why it happened! Pls call me asap and explain!! You have my tel#.
