Clean rooms and a great breakfast

Breakfast was inconsistent from day to day. The first couple days were just fine, but the last morning we stayed they only had one waffle maker and cereal and the coffee was watered down.

The front desk staff was really helpful at check in. The room was clean, comfortable bed and no noise. I would stay there again.

The hotel didn’t smell clean, the “breakfast” consisted of coffee. The carpet in the hallway was dirty and ripped.

Well-maintained and cute property. Everything is clean and the staff is polite, helpful, and organized. We were looking for a one-night stay with a pool, hot tub, and free breakfast, and this fit the bill. The price is right too, considering it's Chicagoland. We would absolutely stay here again.

The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. I needed a last-minute spot for a zoom meeting, and they were able to accommodate me. The gentleman at the desk even helped me set up the internet, as I was experiencing technical difficulties.

It was very outdated. Old carpet, ugly gold walls in the hallway. Ugly old curtains and carpet in the room. Old furniture. That said, it was clean, the housekeeping ladies were very nice and did a great job. The man at the front desk smelled really bad when I checked in. It was reasonably priced compared to the many many other hotels in the area, but they are also newer and/or remodeled. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were really nice. The place just needs a face-lift.

The first room we went in had a dim light in the bathroom, stickiness on a few carpet spots, and a smelly fridge so I requested a new room. The front desk said they don't have any more 2 bed rooms available but could offer a discount on an upgrade. I declined as I needed 2 beds. He then was able to move me to a room of someone that hasn't checked in yet since I had a family of 4 and they only had 2. Very appreciated of the commodity. Breakfast was simple but good. Pool and hot tub were great!

Room smelled very bad. The window was open as if they were trying to air it out. Went to the front desk to ask for some air freshener, and was told that the people who stayed before me smoked in there(non-smoking room). Not sure why they chose to put me in that room then, in that clearly the hotel was nowhere near full. Shower had very little pressure and the breakfast was not very well stocked. On the other hand, the pool looked nice and the staff was friendly. Still, not worth the little money I saved by staying there compared to nearby hotels, of which there are plenty.

Beds were hard but pillows were ok, easy to access location, breakfast was carb heavy and lacked good protein options, hot tub wasn’t working throughout our entire stay (having one was a big part of our decision where to stay).

The breakfast had just a few things wasn’t good at all Beside the tile in the hot tub was falling off the jets did not work the pool was dirty you had to ask for towels then return them and they smelled not to mention they have bed bugs my family have bites all over and when we checked in the front staff took my son toy and wasn’t going to give it back my son has emotional issues and was scared they had no clue how to check anyone in I will never stay there again

The pool and hot tub are a very nice amenity. The elevator functions properly. Carpets appeared very clean. The walls are thin, and we could hear the couple next door arguing late into the night and again the next morning. Turning on the ventilation fan above the jacuzzi helped cancel the noise.

Overall and nice room for a great price. Not much breakfast but still has hot waffles. Accommodating staff and clean room for being an older hotel. I always stay here when I'm in the area. Close to restaurants and the highway.

Breakfast offerings were unsatisfactory. You could have 1) cold cereal with milk 2) waffles with syrup, no butter 3) packaged muffin 4) packaged oatmeal 5) drinks - juice, coffee?, no water.

The staff was super nice. The pool and hot tub were delightful. The room was mostly clean, however it smelled off due to the heater....and the heat in the room was better managed by opening a window to let the brutally cold air in. The room had semen stains on the carpet... fun times, I guess.

We have stayed here on numerous occasions BUT we will NEVER stay here again!!! We will tell everyone we know!!! The person at the front desk needs to GO!!! Then we may stay again but we’ll never know…. Totally ruined our ENTIRE 3 day vacation!!

The only bad thing is the unnecessary $100 hold they put on you when you don't have the money for it and have to rely on the breakfast to sustain you during your stay. Other than that everything else was fine. It makes staying in your hometown hard when that happens.

There was mold on the curtains that the heater was blowing all over the room and mold in the bathroom. Staff was limited and slow and charged was way too much for the small dirty hotel

I was staying here while searching for an apartment. Because I was uncertain about when and where i would be moving, i had to reserve a block of time that gave me time to find something. When i did, and moved in on 8/10, i asked if i could get any of the unused days refunded. (I was booked and had prepaid until 8/19) I was promply told there was nothing that could be done. NOTHING. I paid alot for nights that I was not staying there and feel like I have been taken advantage of. Now I've paid for nearly a weeks worth nights for absolutely NOTHING. It just seems very unethical and I feel exploited.

Had a family emergency and they refused refund. Booked 4 nights and only stayed for 1. After being told I was able to get a refund for 3 nights I had to rush home and they said I couldn’t get my money back. Would never recommend!

Beds comfortable carpets are dirty smells of mold in the hallways and breakfast is a candy store. Nothing healthy just rap cakes could add some fruits and at least boiled eggs.

We did not even stay there. We had to turn the key in within 20 minutes of being there and had to book another hotel…. There were bed bugs in the bed and all under the mattress and the staff would do nothing about it so we left their hotel

It would help if breakfast had more options, like eggs and Greek yogurt.

Walked in, lobby felt outdated just like the pictures but it was clean and inviting. Nobody at the front desk gave me just a little nervousness how long I will have to wait. But within a minute, someone greeted and checked me in. She was very quick as I did have 4 rooms. Most of the rooms were decent and average. Nothing impressive. The room I got had a bad musty/moldy smell. But bedding felt clean. Other rooms did not have the smell. Mattress has seen better days but I slept just fine. Did not check out pool for cleanliness. But nice that they had one. Breakfast was basic. Some grab n go muffins/pastries. Raisin bran and fruit loops for cereal, yogurt, waffle maker, coffee, fruit juice. Patiently waited at front desk to check out but no one came so ended up having to look around for a person. Seems I wasnt really needed to do much with check out. I would've given a 4 star if my room didn't have the musty smell.

Room was fine but there no USB ports in the room. hi, its 2025.. Staff was unfriendly when i asked about a charging brick which was probably left there on a daily basis.. Room was clean , still proving bar soaps.. The "free breakfast " was garbage..

Hotel was great, room stayed nice and cool, the lobby was cozy and the staff was nice. Breakfast was only waffles and cereal with a few packaged danishes. The room was mostly clean with the exception of my bedspread having dirt or old food on it. We didn’t try the pool.

The young lady at the counter was wonderful. It is so nice to have a smiling face. This facility has you get your pool towels at the desk and return them there as well. The person took the wet towels back with a smile! Personally, I don't see enough of that in many businesses. The hotel was clean and inviting in the room, lobby, breakfast area and pool.

When I booked on Hotels.com the room I selected clearly pictured a hot tub style bath in the room seperate from the bath room. The room I got did not have one. Also the air conditioner in the room was leaking so almost 1/3 of the room's carpet was wet.

Well first off I booked a room with a king size bed and a jetted tub next to the bed, when we got to our room it did not have a jetted tub in the room and when I talked to the front desk they said I would have to talk to hotels.com. Couple of other odd things, when using the pool/hot tub you had to “check out” towels from the front desk, only one per person and then return them immediately after swimming. Also the hotel offered a complimentary breakfast, which only consisted of a waffle maker and cold items, such as yogurt, cereal and pre packaged snacks. Me and my wife ate some of the “not so good” breakfast at anround 8am and wanted to take a swim before checkout. We got our suits on and went down to “checkout” our towels again only to find out the pool area did not open until 10am. Kind of disappointing.

The pool wasn’t clean and we did not notice it at first because we were in the shallow end. Once we got to the deep it there was literally rings of dirt, oil and even hair floating so we left shortly after

Could not call to ask for an early check in. None of the times we went to the desk was it staffed-we had to ring the bell for service. Hot tub was out of service. Was there visiting family and friends-but if we wanted to use the pool we had to register everyone as a guest to swim and get a towel. Pool towels also had to be turned in by the end of the night to not be charged for them. This may be called a Quality Inn, but customer service wasn’t even close…
