Sleep Inn Nashville - Brentwood - Cool Springs

My husband and I stayed there for one night while traveling through the area. We booked the room in advance through Hotels.com and chose the option that we would be bringing a pet. When we got there, the hotel was surprised that we had a pet with us and had to change the room that they were going to put us in. We then found out that although the details on Hotels.com said the pet fee was $25 we were charged a $40 fee. When we entered the room, it smelled musty and faintly like pet odors. The faucet in the bathroom leaked really bad and overall I think the room needed some maintenance and updating. It was an OK stay and the bed was fairly comfortable. They did have a very nice selection on their complementary breakfast. All the staff that we interacted with were very friendly, kind and provided excellent customer service.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The laundry was not working. This was not reported prior to check-in. The fitness area was out-of-order. This was not reported prior to check-in. Areas of the room needed a deep cleaning.

Was an older facility that looked as though it had been run down and brought back to a point that it was just good enough to be used. Things were broken, dirty, and sometimes missing. Not much staff and what little there was seemed for the most part to be not well enough trained to or interested in doing their jobs. For the most part their appearance alone told you they were not going to be of any help. You certainly were not getting your moneys worth here, for about the same price I could have stayed in a lot nicer place. This place was not as represented by the pictures or ratings on Expedia. Was the first time using this kind of service and will probably be the last.

It seemed like the green light on the smoke detector would come on and off at odd times. It was very bright in the darkness of the room when it would come on. Breakfast was wonderful and even though it was 8:45 before I got to it there was still plenty that was fresh and hot. I would ask for larger cups for the juices though lol. I think they were maybe four maybe 5 oz cups. Felt like I was doing a shot of something adult level lol.

Prefect stay

Staff were great. We only stayed one night. The mattress covers were dirty and stained. The valence on the curtain was filthy. There was a roach in the bathroom in the morning. We checked out as soon as we could the next morning. Do not recommend.

Breakfast was really good. Beds were very firm though. Property was clean besides the pocket door in the bathroom seemed to have mildew on it.

Had a 1 night stay on a road trip from Florida to Chicago. Sleep Inn had good reviews and the price was very reasonable. We had 2 rooms and were very pleased with our choice. The night clerk, James was very helpful and allowed us to store our golf clubs in the lobby office (instead of lugging them up to the 4th floor). We had a bad experience with lodging on the way down and told him about the lack of toiletries in that hotel. He gave us extra soap, shampoo and conditioner to make sure we had plenty. The rooms were clean and quiet with 2 queen beds, a wonderful hot shower, and large screen TV. Continental breakfast was the typical eggs, sausage, hash browns, waffles, yogurt, toast and sweet rolls. Plenty enough that we didn't even stop for lunch on our 8 hour drive home. The orange juice from the machine (which is usually watered down) was excellent as was the coffee. Gloria was manning the desk in the morning and she was very pleasant and helpful as well. Clean accommodations with a great price and a wonderful staff - what more can you ask for. We'll try Sleep Inn again for future trips.

The 24 hr coffee station down in the eating area was out of coffee and when it was opened it in front of me it was very dirty and black and full of mold! They just filled it back up without cleaning. Was promptly and pleasantly greeted upon arrival. Room was clean and easy to get to. We were near an exit door yet never heard people coming in or going out.

Ended up asking for a refund. No employee to check in. Called three times, waited for 10 minutes, went outside nobody around. Office security door unlocked and NOT secured. Furniture in lobby was filthy. Employee finally came in asked if she could help. I told her I needed to check in. She said oh I didn’t see a car pull up….I pointed to my large truck, asked where she was. Her response was outside, asked why, her response was because its nice outside…sitting in a car outside is NOT enjoying the weather…you are getting paid to be at the desk. Its part of a security breach for the guest inside as well….even Expedia tried to call…would definitely NOT recommend this hotel

For the price, complimentary hot breakfast, and convenient location, this was an excellent place to stay. The room does have the sink located in the main area rather than a fully enclosed bathroom, but it was still a pleasant experience overall—especially since it’s primarily a place to sleep. The staff was kind and welcoming. I would definitely recommend it!

Bed was nice and comfortable. Plenty of pillows. Room was clean, breakfast was a wide variety. Biscuits were a little hard. But otherwise had eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles. Plus cereals. Bagels and more. Would stay there again. Entrance to motel had a huge pot hole that needs fixed.

Very nice for the advertised price. Didn’t like: I have two dogs. Most places will charge $25 per pet. Sleep Inn added fees and taxes to the $50. ? Woman cooking breakfast was run ragged keeping up with supplying the hot food and coffee. At 7:30 there was no coffee or hot breakfast - it had all been eaten. Strange electrical smell in dining room. Coffee making machine was out of order so she had to make each pot of coffee on the stove. $140 advertised pet friendly room ended up costing about $230.

This is an older property, but has been recently renovated. Room was a little on the small size but very nice with a great king size bed. The toilet and shower were in a separate room from the vanity. Room was equipped with a refrigerator. An excellent full hot breakfast was provided with scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, gravy, waffles, pancakes, oatmeal, fruit , cereal, sweet rolls and many other items. Parking and wifi were included in the price.

I did not get to enjoy breakfast, I wish they would provide breakfast earlier and or give more than just a few hours of breakfast. During both stays, because I was on a time crunch, I was unable to get a breakfast at the hotel. Other than that, I recommend this hotel as a great place to stay.

I liked the location of the hotel,it wasn't in an area where it was overly congested. The front desk staff was nice, the hotel looked clean. The room was a bit small for my liking but it was ok. My husband and I really liked the shower and how the shower door swung open both ways. I also liked that we could open the windows to get some fresh air in the room. Walking into the hotel could be better as far as smelling fresher. It had like a gasoline scent for some reason. The overall hotel wasn't a bad smell though. But walking in the hotel and hotel rooms should have more of an inviting scent. The breakfast wasn't anything to brag about. There was not enough of a variety. And the breakfast sitting area is a bit too small.

The room was fine for a week-long business stay in Nashville. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room and linens, towels were clean. The door to the room was slightly beat up and should be replaced. There was a loose outlet plate on the wall to the left as you enter the room. There was no chair to sit in and relax other than the desk chair that slid down after being adjusted to the needed height--every time. Requested a different chair, but I guess none were available. Hot breakfast with waffle machine and coffee were nice. Felt safe in the building and in the neighborhood. Nice to have a clothing store across the street when I needed a new pair of black pants. I would stay there again, but a comfy chair to sit in would be a great addition.

Outside not so pleasing for the area but inside was pretty good. Room was a bit muddy even with air set to 65 and bathroom didn’t have a fan in it this property is affordable.

Location was close enough to Nashville to visit sites easily. Plenty of parking and friendly staff. Nice breakfast.

The staff at the Sleep Inn was excellent! We arrived early and were able to check in early. The breakfast was ready early and was hot and plentiful. The room was very comfortable and there were plenty of towels. The only disappointment was that the gym was closed, I wish they had put a notice on the website.

I had to go to FOUR different rooms before finding one that would work. It wasn’t because I was being picky. The HVAC in the first room (424) didn’t work; they moved me to the second room (421). Someone had come in and sprayed some furniture polish on the desk, I suppose to try to make it appear to have been cleaned, it wasn’t. I found a container of food and food packet in the fridge, which I threw in the bathroom trash can. I raised the lid on the commode and it was full of toilet paper and “spray” (if you know what I mean) and I hate to think what was below, so I asked for another room. In room 416, across from the elevators, the HVAC was not working. They moved me to room 406, which appeared to, possibly, have been cleaned. The desk clerk had told me that breakfast was 7:30-10:30 (she started to say 6:30- but then she said that tomorrow (the weekend) that it would be 7:30-10:30. I go downstairs between 9:30-10:00 and all the chairs are on the table and the food has been taken up. When I asked the “manager” about it, since I had been told 10:30, she said no one would have told me 10:30 and when I disagreed she said she’d check the tape. When I told her I’d already had to move four times the night before and then “no breakfast” maybe I should just talk to corporate. Then, she tried to turn it back on me like I was being the problem. She said she’d give me the number, which she did. Then she told me I could call them with my complaint and they would send it back to her. BAD!

Staff was courteous

I was unable to stay due to my father passing away the night before my travel. I cancelled after 4PM due to his death occurring after this time. I expected to be charged for 1 night as the website says but instead I was charged for two nights. I requested my money back and haven’t heard anything from the hotel.

Excellent staff. Room was super clean. So close to restaurants, favorite stores and family. My husband and I will stay again when we travel to this area to visit my sister and his nephew.

We arrived late, dusty and tired. We were greeted by the sweetest voice and kindest check-in in our entire trip. The rooms were spotless. Even though we only spent an overnite stay at this facility, if we are ever in the area again, this will be our fo to place!

Cool springs is our halfway point from Indiana to Florida. We have been through Brentwood before, so I choose it as the place to stop for the night. The Sleep Inn is in a good location convenient to 65 and restaurants. The room was clean and very quiet. The bed was comfortable. We didn’t have breakfast but it looked good. We choose to stay here on our way home as well. Only thing the room needs is a couple hooks by the sink area to hang a towel or your toiletries.

This hotel is very old with little to no updates…. We were in a room close to a door and all night we heard people walking in and out. Also: the room across from us was empty and the door handle was missing, appeared to be under repair.

My reservation was for a room with 2 QUEEN BEDS. I was given two double beds. Had I known this was going to happen I never would have booked here. Two doubles are not big enough for adults to comfortably share after a car trip thru multiple states. Very disappointed . Ad also shows they have an outdoor pool and it clearly hasn't been operational in a while. Not worth the $125 spent. ESPECIALLY when getting two double beds when I requested queens

We had a great stay. The location is great and was very quiet and safe. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was great. Only a quick drive to downtown Nashville. We would definitely stay again!

This hotel was far nicer than we expected for the price. Beds are comfortable and the breakfast is quite robust. The handicapped accessible room was not quite as accessible as we expected or hoped. It had a standard toilet rather than a raised one and a tub with a bench rather than a walk in shower with a bench. If you are looking for an accessible room, be sure to ask questions about what you need before you book. If accessibility is not an issue, this is an affordable and comfortable place to stay.

The room was fine, the breakfast was fine. The HVAC unit was so noisy that it woke me up every time it kicked on through the night.

When we checked in and got to our room I noticed it was a two double bed room instead of the queen room I paid for. I went back to the desk and the receptionist kept saying she couldn't do anything because all they had were double rooms. We then get a call while coming back to the hotel and said they tried to reach us and stop by the desk but didn't tell me why. When we got there, she apologized and said that she has checked us in wrong because of two guests with the same last name. We moved to the queen room and thanked her. However, more problems came once in the room. Our door did not seem secure, there was a very large gap at the bottom of the door where lots of light was coming in and the door could easily be pushed when closed. The TV would never get off the join WiFi screen saying it was trying to join. You could hear the show on the television but only saw an Internet error page overlaying it. The air conditioner....one it seemed to never come on. We had it set to 65° and we were constantly sweating and having to sleep outside the covers. Two, when it did come on, it sounded like a tornado and siren was coming through and woke us up and only stayed on for a few minutes before it was off again for over an hour. The cheaply attached to the wall headboard squeaked all night like it was trying to come off the wall and kept me awake for the majority of the night. I truly never write a negative review about a hotel because there is usually more good than bad but not here.

Very clean, friendly staff. Bed a little stiff but not uncomfortable. I had a first floor end of the hallway room, near the back door which is perfect for taking my dog out to walk/ potty. The door didn’t latch closed though, which is a safety concern. But I was comfortable there and in the area. The shower was clean which is a bonus!

The staff was nice and very sweet, gave me a call to see if everything was okay in my room. The downside was that the gym was being renovated but that’s okay !! I really enjoyed my stay here.

I was really impressed with this property that I decided that every time I am in Nashville I will stay here. The room was spotless and spacious, with a comfortable bed and the staff was friendly and went over and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. The price was budget friendly and the breakfast was amazing!

I booked to stay on Expedia. I selected the room with one queen bed. They called and told me that they had maintenance issues were able to get me two double beds, which was fine. My biggest disappointment is when I booked the room with Expedia I selected that I was bringing a dog with me and got the price. When I arrived on site I found out then it was $30 more to have the pet. Expedia should have put that in the price since I selected that in my room selection. I did not like the surprise at all and think this should be corrected. I probably will not book through Expedia again because of this if I would’ve talked to the hotel directly, I am sure they would’ve given me that information and it would not have been a surprise cost

Comfortable stay for a budget hotel. Older building but rooms had newer furniture. Rooms were clean, plenty of hot water, breakfast was replenished well even on the busiest day. Gym was closed but I found a long sidewalk route to a park to run nearby.

The staff here is lovely! Very friendly and welcoming even when we arrived very late. They were very understanding about us needing a room that hasn't had a pet. The room had plenty of lighting options, a good sized mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, soap, shampoo and plenty of towels and washcloths. The room itself was good, but the charging station USB ports did not work and the door has a chip broken off on the exterior where the security latch is. The check out staff was super sweet when we told them about it and took notes for repairs. 🙂 The breakfast was good: sausage patties, scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, biscuits & gravy, waffle maker, a variety of bread & balls and a toaster to heat them, 2 cereal choices, yogurt, and several juice choices. We only spent one night, but slept well and would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Although it wasn't exactly what I expected it was still an ok place to stay for the night. Would I stay here again?...Probably not, I'd probably spend a little more money on a better room and location. But it was an ok place to stay for one night.

The hotel smelled really musky and as if they were trying to cover it with cleaning supplies, someone next to us must have been smoking bc we had to smell that all night. Our door would not lock.

This shower handle is broken and the water took forever to get luke warm. Very small area with toilet and shower. Will not stay again

Great value for the price. A bit cramped but clean and quiet. The beds were ok but overall a great deal! The free breakfast is a plus.

Good and efficient option for traveling on a budget! Breakfast options were awesome and delicious. Staff was very polite and friendly. Beds were a little firm for my liking but it’s all about preference. It got the job done and was worth the price.

Bed was entirely too firm for my taste. Shower did not have hot water next morning. Front desk said it was down. They said they could move me to another room for a shower, but it was time to leave and I didn’t have time. Coldest shower of my life. The place is in desperate need of some upgrades.

Incredibly quiet, clean, convenient, and affordable. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend and would stay here again. This is an excellent hotel. Great value.

Convenient location, fair value for money

It was okay but the heat didn't work in the room. It was freezing cold. The bathroom didn't have the accessibility that showed in the pictures when I was choosing where to stay. We needed an option for my father to be able to sit to take a shower. Part of the shower wasn't clean where you would put the soap at.

Our stay was wonderful! For an older hotel it was very clean. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were very friendly. Our bed was on the harder side which was hard on the back, but would stay again!

Definitely didn't like the late time that the breakfast started. It should of started at 5:00 a.m. Also our heater in our room wouldn't shut off and was very noisy. You could actually feel vibration in the bed closest to the heater. We talked to the front desk and they gave us a different room which was good customer service.

Saw multiple bugs in room

Very nice hotel close to Route 65. The staff was professional and helpful. This is probably the best Choice hotel I have stayed at.

It was a small, quiet, clean, safe hotel right off the interstate. No frills but nice enough for me. The mattress was much harder than I'm used, but I was too tired to care.

Everything was fine, except the hot water didn't work.

Pet facility, room had wet pet pee spots. Front desk rude and does not know how to use computer system and will run your credit card over and over again! All staff are rude AF!

I loved how close everything was. Police was always around. Everyone was friendly

It’s good for the price, given the location

I requested king room, got 2 full size. Carpet in room was worn and frayed. Clerk told me breakfast started 6:30 a.m. Came downstairs, apparently breakfast started at 6am with a full dining area.. Our room was in front of both elevators. Loud, plus people were loud. Tv reception kept going in and out.

This property was at a good rate for use as home base while at a conference in Brentwood. While a bit worn around the edges (carpet), the rooms were comfortable (even if smaller) and were had good furnishings. This would be a good location for a reasonably priced getaway to get some work done (in room comfortable desk seating, large workspace) .

Very nice place to stay in a quiet, chill location. Still close to a lot of shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was above average.

Got up this morning and had no hot water all. When I told front desk all they said was I’m sorry. Didn’t offer to reduce bill or anything. Very disappointed.

The hotel was ok. After getting to my room, noticed the thermostat for the A/C wasnt working. I made mention of the issue to the front desk, which they informed me they would send maintenance. Maintenance never came. Had to set the actual unit to 64 to get it to kick on sporadically which was loud and annoying.

The space on the room

Hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was impressive with a variety of hot and cold food available and a coffee/hot tea bar. It was well stocked until time to close it. Our first room had a broken toilet and clerk made the switch easy. She even tried to figure out how to make the tv work without the remote.

I was told that it was a non smoking facility and signs were everywhere stating this also. Despite that the whole 4th floor and my room smelled like a smoking factory. The room across the hall, the door looked like a chupacabra kicked the door in also.

Had some issues with expedia and there nooki g process. Tyler at the fron tdesk of this hotel went way above and beyind to help get me i to the room and the third party mistake handled. I will rebooked the rol. For the whole week the next morning and will staynhere any singlr time i am in the area. As well as all my fellow employes that travel. Thanks to sleep inn for Being amazing

Our first night, the AC was not working properly and the staff promptly moved us to another room the next day. Then the staff saw in the camera that our two keys quit working and had two new keys ready as soon as I walked up to the desk! We didn’t require room cleaning. but the ladies offered to bring us extra towels and trash bags and even offered to get us ice from another floor when they saw us carrying cooler to the machine that wasn’t working in our floor. Now that is attentive staff, nothing went unnoticed and quickly resolved any issues.

Very well service.

Lovely Staff, hotel was very clean, the pool was nice but needed to have the filters turned on, good breakfast with definitely stay here again.
