Breakfast and all staff were outstanding. Couldn't find ice at first; we weren't told how things 'work'. The elevators were EXTREMELY slow (we were almost late for our uber pick up waiting on floor 9 for over 20 minutes were all of our bags and suitcases). The beds were very small -- they should be queen size.

Friendly, informative, and timely service at an affordable price.. Realizing most people don't stay six days, 5 nights like we did. So many people see the breakfast standard menu acceptable. I do appreciate the depth of items offered. I made full use of it to store up the energy we needed to tour the wonderful Chicago area. Ideally I would have liked the main items to provide new items each day. There were minor changes but more effort here is needed. Also if you get the opertunity to upgrade your excersize equipment on the 27th floor.

This is the BEST location in Chicago that I have stayed …We literally ate within 4 blocks for 3 days and it was great ….so close to River walk and also walked to millennium park….walked to the river architectural meet up….valet parking was great - just send a text and your car is waiting . Spacious rooms with a couch trundle bed that sleeps 2 more people. Closet is very small. Bed is comfy. City view is beautiful! Valet parking is $79 a day. Free breakfast offered plenty of options from eggs to oatmeal. Walking distance to many attractions. Quick type food options are not very close.

Our stay Friday and Saturday. Every single person we interacted with was friendly, courteous and so helpful. Would like to especially mention Mya and Rueben, who were excellent. This hotel is super clean, with very comfortable beds with a very comfortable trundle bed that was as comfortable as the beds. Breakfast was unusually good, eggs, cereal meats and fresh fruit , French toast and again wonderful friendly staff! Price was reasonable- would highly recommend, plan on returning ourselves Thank you for special experience.

Best hotel we’ve stayed at. The staff are professional and helpful. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping was very kind. The breakfast options were great and the coffee was great. We will definitely be staying here again. The hotel is well worth the money.

Stayed for two nights and there were knocking sounds coming from the pipes in the early morning hours and late night hours. The engineer said it was from other rooms taking showers. So do not plan on a good night’s sleep here. Breakfast was empty both mornings from 8:30 to 9. It was just empty and nothing was refilled. The female staff in the large breakfast room felt it was her responsibility to use a condescending tone inform guests who opened the multitude of empty breakfast pans, that they were working on refilling the breakfast. We waited for 30 minutes. Zero items were refilled and they just started breaking everything down. Two rooms for two nights and it was a very disappointing and uncomfortable stay. I highly recommend considering other hotels nearby.

Hotel shares the building with another hotel. Great stay, rooms were clean. Breakfast was as good as it comes. Staff were friendly. Waiting area ideal after and or before check out, as it serves a nice space to hang out. There’s also complementary coffee throughout the day. Only complaint is during morning hours you wait a long time for the elevators. There’s 3 elevators per hotel but same wait most times.

Plenty of variety, fresh, and actually enjoyable—not something you just grab out of necessity. Location-wise, you really can’t beat it. The walkability was perfect for getting around the city without needing to constantly rely on transportation. Everything felt accessible and convenient. I loved the hotel the car service I did not like and I was not treated with respect and I got trip protection and my flight was delayed till the next day by the airline and I was not reimbursed as I was suppose to be.

Ms. Glenda, one of the staff members (breakfast) was so sweet n kind to us. She even took a picture with us , once we talked n realized she had family in Mississippi. I would definitely recommend this property.

We only have issues with requesting room service, we requested for towels and laundry bag, but nobody came it took another when I called again for follow for them to do it. However, overall stay was still excellent most of the hotel does not have microwave and I have issues before with heating some baby food.Also, breakfast was good, and most importantly location. Perfect place to get around in the city specially if its your first time here in Chicago. We had a great time.☺️

They offered the packandplay which I was too tired to remember to ask for. Thank you to the friendly ladies who worked Fridag night around 930 pm. Anytime you got off the elevator there is always a familiar face greeting you and asking if they could help with anything! Lets not talk about options for breakfast, the kids are very picky but were able to find options and actually ate the food. Thank you again you made our firat time in Chicago memorable. Bathroom was dirty (really long hair all over the floor and we all have very short hair) and it took 6 hours for them to bring us more toilet paper, but other than that, it was an excellent experience. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The room was the same corner views I believe a floor or two higher. Everything is local and parking in the garage is very simple. We even had our Autistic daughter’s service pet with us which assisted our daughter during our stay. The only issue it was, that my room wasn’t clean did check in Friday and late checkout Sunday, room never been cleaned! The staff are super friendly nice all perfect location but I’m just did not understand even we upgraded the room.

This hotel was in a great location. Just a couple blocks from Michigan avenue, with so much to do everywhere. Great restaurants and shopping very close. Only a 15 minute walk to the Bean, 15-20 minute walk to Navy Pier, 15-20 minute walk to 360 Chicago at the John Hancock building. So many great things to see as you walk to your destination. Seems like a very safe area. Hotel was very nice and clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Come morning, the free breakfast, especially the warm foods, was one of the worst I've had. To be honest, I was a bit embarrassed, because the tables around us were filled with Europeans visiting Chicago, and even low-end properties in Europe (including those owned by Marriott) provide an amazing breakfast buffett with a wide variety of pastries and freshly cooked foods. Why do we put up with this? I wasn't surprised by the number of plates full of food that I saw thrown away. After trying to eat, we just left and got breakfast elsewhere. (The coffee, however, was not too bad, if you want one positive note on the experience.)

The property is clean, close to tons of things to do in downtown Chicago, and staff was friendly and accommodating. Two issues, 1st parking is $75 pretty pricey and the couch/ pullout bed is not comfortable at all. Both hard as a rock. I totally forgot that I had stayed in the Springhill suites Chinatown last summer and their couch / pullout bed was also super hard. If you don't need those, I 100% recommend these hotels for the locations, cleanliness, and complementary breakfast.

This hotel was affordable and our family of 5 was able to share one suite. Parking was attached to the hotel and it seemed safe for being right downtown. The bed was also comfortable and room was clean. Staff were helpful. My big complaint was the noise from the street was so loud. I could hear what sounded like people drag racing on the block outside until about 5am. The city noise was ridiculous even with a sound machine. We were on the 5th floor so maybe higher would have been better. Also, the breakfast choices were odd. There was definitely not enough food for the amount of people staying there and they need to stick to the basics. The choices they had were just kind of funky. Overall it was fine just be aware of these potential issues.

Great spot to access Restaurants, Bars, and many attractions. Nice walk to Millennium Park, the Waterfront, and the Museum. We parked the car in the garage and walked everywhere with exception of taking an Uber to and from The United Center for a concert.

I was very disappointed that there was no fan in the shower . No dresser , and a wall smack next to one of beds that when you try to get out to pee in the middle of the night you run onto.

Recently stayed at the Springhill Suites/River North. Could not have picked a better location for the first time in Chicago. Tons of local dining options. Close to landmarks. Easily walked to the Magnificient Mile(Michigan Ave) Walked to the subway to go to Wrigley Field and the United Center. Hotel was excellent. Clean, the staff was excellent in all areas. Free breakfast was fresh and good. Highly recommend overall.

The room we stayed was different from what we expected when we booked. Because of that, we had very inconvenience time.

Dirty and Filthy. The room was horrific and disgusting. Hair was left on the lotion bottle and the bathtub had brown dirt in the tub. My daughters were unable to shower and use the bathroom. This is unacceptable for the price and location of the property. Horrible.

Excellent service

The hotel location is great and the service all around was wonderful. The room itself was very spacious, comfortable, and inviting. We enjoyed going to happy hour at the lobby bar and had great service from the bartender. The "breakfast included" was consistently overcrowded and running out of coffee and food options, causing us to to out for breakfast on our last day. The biggest complaint was there were only 2 of 3 working elevators, making it difficult to get to the lobby and we had to haul down our luggage 7 flights of stairs since it was always full.

Not sure if we missed how the rules worked, but we never had any cleaning service during our stay.

Elevator didn't arrive to floor 6, we waited over 15 minutes.

Pretty convenient location. Various parking options within 2 blocks. Breakfast was fair to okay.

Staff made this stay enjoyable. I was dispointed that my room did nto have a pull out couch with the doubles. that is my only complaint

Now the biggest fan of how slow the elevator system. At some point, it would rock up and down if people didn’t get off really quickly. Our room wasn’t very clean, there was a trash on the ground that we noticed. The door handle to the bathroom was almost falling off. Only think we liked that how convenient we were from downtown Chicago

Parking at this hotel is a problem. Charges are high and it is not convenient at all. I had to use multiple elevators to go from the parking garage to my room. Very annoying.

A remarkable stay. Everything was clean, aesthetically pleasing, and comfy.

This hotel was rated 9.0 on Hotels.com; however, I disagree! The Valet service did not offer to help unload bags or offer a cart for my pregnant daughter. I thought that was rude! The complimentary breakfast was unacceptable! A couple of the food trays were empty. The foods available did not appear appetizing. The four elevators were extremely slow. On a positive note, the beds were comfortable & the room was clean.

Pros-friendly staff and comfortable bed. Cons-hotel is undergoing renovations so its noisy between 8am and 4pm. The entrance is difficult to find. The locking mechanism on my door needed repairing. The room was dated and looked nothing like the photo posted on Expedia.

The property staff were very helpful, accommodating with any things we need. Most things like restaurant, museums, and other attractions pretty close and staff helped to find them. Overall cleanliness of the room was good and the room in a good part of the building for no noise.

I enjoyed the view of the city since I have never been to Chicago before.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Great selection for breakfast with many dietary needs considered. Very spacious hotel, modern and clean. Rooms were large. Good location for many things. Was very quiet throughout the whole trip. Liked there was a parking garage attached.

Excellent stay at this hotel. The hotel staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The entire vibe was fun and inviting. Beds were very comfortable, complimentary breakfast was plentiful & tasty. Highly recommend!

Nice area walking distance to restaurants and shopping centers just wish parking was free
