I love everything about it

Due to our flight being delayed we were a day late to check in. The manager told us he cancelled or reservations for 2 rooms for 4 nights and didn't have any rooms available. The MicroTell experience

Great beds

The staff was friendly. The room needed deep cleaning (especially on some window cushions), the air conditioning needs a bit of an update.

The rugs are so dirty my socks where black, they need a renovation job. People where smoking pot and I ended up be very sick. It is far from downtown but we uber it back and forth. I would not go back

I have stayed at Microtels in different locations and this is one of the older Microtels, the entrance needs to be cleaned and it does not give a great impression. With that said the rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly.

The only thing I didn't like was the A/C kept going off and on during the night ? My family and I like to sleep cold!! That's about it on what I didn't like.

The lobby of the hotel was clean. The first room I got had mold on the carpet, there was roaches on the microwave and in the bath tub. The refrigerator was broken. Very uncomfortable stay. Moved to another room and it was a little better, but I was still uncomfortable. The hotel needs to be remodeled and exterminated. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel for anyone to stay.

Clean rooms and comfortable beds Pet fee was not advertised, said included in our stay only to be stiff armed by front desk clerk who doesn’t understand customer service. Our door lock was broken, not safe.

The manager cancelled my booking while I was in the lobby and tried to get me to pay double the amount to rebook it. Then he lied about what happened. I asked why was my room cancelled and he lied again. Then after being on the phone with hotels.com for nearly 30 minutes he asked me to come back to the window and offered to put me into a room that didn’t have air conditioning, which was more than my booking. Then he lied again and said that his boss called to say that I needed to leave if I didn’t have a room I needed to leave. The phone never rang.

When I went into the room, the inside temperature was 86 degrees. After turning the temp down it took hours to cool enough to even think about dleeping..

Nothing. How the rooms smelled, my first room had a horrible smell of dog & how some of the staff was unfriendly, the heat didn’t work, my kids bathroom was dirty and shower head wasn’t working properly upon arrival, my dog broke out with a rash, the staff looks at you as if you are weird, saw a man in the staircase with a tall stick, the cleaning lady was pleasant and polite. The gazebo outside is unstable and trashed. The floor I was on reeked of weed.

I didn't like the breakfast they were serving and the elevator had a funky smell. The room heater was making noise once I turned it on for my entire stay.

I really enjoyed my time of rest and relaxation, whatever I needed, was 1 phone call away. I recommend this hotel it was superb.

Hotel was in the back of the Ikea parking lot which you have drive thru to get to. There was a smell in the hotel and room. Bathroom was dirty and dated. Room was basic.

The staff was nice. The room was not great. The room had a mildew smell. Socks looked dirty after walking around on floor. The bathroom was functional. Bed was comfortable, but not a fan of the mirrored wall behind the beds. The key card constantly had to be reactivated. The breakfast options did not include any meats/eggs. It was quiet throughout our stay. Didn’t feel unsafe while there based off of interactions and the surrounding environment, but seeing that the front desk had plexiglass/barrier up similar to a currency exchange made me take extra precautions while staying there. Would not choose to stay here again. Other similar places with same cost and amenities. Stayed to be closer to family. Next time would choose to drive the extra 5-10 minutes instead.

Comfy bed, but very angry to be awakened after getting in late before 7am on a Sunday by both emails and texts that woke up me and my kids, prompting me to check out! From Microtel! Nothing makes a mom upset like her children and her being awakened unnecessarily by inappropriate, rude contact! I did not consent to be contacted this way!

There is a huge mirror above the bed, it was sketchy and made it feel like it was a two way mirror. The door did not lock neither did the joining room door. The couch was full of stains including the towels. It was fine for a night and can’t beat the price but it really is Micro, room is tiny. Stayed because of the reviews.

The bathroom floor was dirty and the AC smelled like it needed to be cleaned or maybe there was mold on filter? They had side door locked so only way in was through front door. Staff was nice and nothing was broke. Just needed a better cleaning crew possibly?

Mr. Patel, the manager, was very nice and accommodating! The hotel is clean and the beds are very comfy. While the parking lot doesn’t seem very safe, it was very well lit.

For one, I immediately was aware of a pervasive, unpleasant odor everywhere! I stayed in a second floor room, and there wasn't an ice machine on the second floor. Secondly, the TV remote would only allow one to access channels, volume, and on/off functions(couldn't turn off CC. I cannot recommend this place to anyone!!!!

The door wouldn’t lock unless I slammed it. I had no hand or face towels until the second day because they had no cleans ones for me. They charged and refunded and charged again my card at least 4 times, 4 different totals before my stay and during my stay.

Staff, super nice and helpful. I had a situation upon arrival. Syd was super nice, personable and professional and helped.

Lots of broken furniture and cracked picture frames and mirrors. Area around felt unsafe- parking lot terrible shape. The beds were comfortable. Bathroom door wouldn’t close. Sheets were nappy and rough and didn’t seem that clean. Face of a/c was broken and falling off and the only chair was badly cracked and jagged.

The staff was friendly and helpful. However, not one but two of our rooms had non-functioning showers on the mornings they were first used. I have never been in a hotel where this happened even once. The staff fixed the first during the day, but the other was in a room that my son only needed for one night. His significant other had to wash her long hair from the faucet.

The room was terrible , not clean. The sofa along with the room its self had a foul smell along with random stains on furniture. The management was unfriendly and attitude was careless. If one was to stay I highly recommend taking sanitation precautions and please purchase febreeze . I am being 100 honest, take your money and go elsewhere.

Staff was friendly. The property was very clean. Only complaint, which is picky. Is that the toilet was too close to the counter. When you are a person of a larger size this is a bit awkward when in use.

Only main issue is the entire building is old and should be renovated if possible. Rooms were clean despite the 1980s rugs in the rooms. Staff were very kind. Breakfast every morning so they are trying. Id probably stay there again. You cant beat the price.

Travel to Memphis weekly and found this motel after some not-so-good choices. Won't stay anywhere else now.

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. The 1st time was good, hotel is older and slighly worn down, but clean and quiet. The 2nd visit we were traveling with our 15yo daughter. I called the hotel prior to booking to ask about adjoining rooms. I was assured that 2 rooms that are connected were available and that after booking they would assign them to me. I paid through expedia and immediately called them again and was told it would not be an issue at all. I called them again the day of our reservation and stated we would be arriving about midnight and wanted to make sure the adjoining rooms were ready for us. The man that answered said he could not check until we arrived. I told him that we could not come there if it was not reserved as promised. He then told me they gave away all the adjoining rooms and that we have 2 rooms for us but they are on opposite ends of the hallway. There is no way i will allow my 15yo daughter to stay in a room alone at then other end of a hotelfor her safety! He said "if you dont like it call and cancel." I called expedia back and the rep called the hotel to get a refund, which Microtel refused, and then i called back on 3 way with the expedia rep. After much debate and arguing, the manager agreed to give me a refund. I will never give this place my business again! How could they expect a teenager to be in an infamiliar city, stay alone, and be on theother side of the hotel from her parents?

It feels safe because there is only one way in and out with the Costco in front and Ikeas behind it. I have stayed here several times. the only problem was that the hair dryer did not work, but overall the bathroom was great with the rails in the shower for safety.

Convenient location, not an upscale room. Musty smell, just a place to lay your head. Wouldnt want to rebook a room.

Found doritos in my bed that was made, dirt in bath tub, sticky counter by coffee machine, air conditioner would not run on high so it took hours for our room to cool down. Looks nice outside and disgusting interior.

There was a written sign up when i arrive stating they would be right back. Then when they came back, not a welcoming attitude. The place smelled like bleach which was fine but when given a room, it was old and out dates on the first floor. The place also appears to have people that live in this place hanging out all arou d the place. Didnt fewl safe so i asked for a refund.

Only problem was the hot water heater busted. Other than that everything else was perfect.

The rooms are dated but wasn’t a bad stay for 1 night considering the price.

The photo shows a bright welcoming lobby, but in reality there is bullet proof glass. The employees were rude with no eye contact and wouldn't speak up so I could hear them through glass. The room smelled of animal urine with a stick bug on the bed, hole in the carpet and yellow towel with a hair in it. I'm the morning the rude front desk quizzed me on my room number for no apparent reason, my wife woke up with hives and the room above was loud with footsteps before 6am. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life.

The photos make the hotel seem much nicer than it actually is. I got a suite and it looked like a large motel room. The bathtub was not clean and the floors were dirty. The parking garage was tiny. If you are in anything more than a small SUV, you will not fit. The Aloft next door was much better. The location is great, though. Very walkable to some great restaurants. Easy walk to Canal and Bourbon.

Room was clean and the beds comfortable

Property is in serious need of a face lift. Stained couches, strong chemical smells, out of date bathrooms. Also did not have enough bathroom linen for the amount of people in our party. That being said, it was clean with no bedbugs and safe for a reasonable price close to Memphis.

We stayed one night while passing through Memphis. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, the front desk staff was friendly. The breakfast was okay. We stayed in a pet friendly room and it smelled like animal and pee. That would be my only complaint.

Overall the stay was fine. Nothing fancy about it. The room could’ve been cleaner but it wasn’t terrible.

the property looks better on the outside than inside, there was an unpleasant smell in the halls, the room was fine, but as everything else gives an unpleasant vibe, the room at the point lost its appeal in anyway, it certainly should have been cheaper for what is being offered. i've stayed in better motel 6 locations in the past. room outdated, bathroom makeshift fixes (looks raggidy), bed was comfy. breakfast was not so great

The location is somewhat confusing and difficult to find.

The room was supposed to be handicapped accessible. I couldn’t get on the bed. I couldn’t raise my legs up. I had to sleep on the couch. The breakfast was disappointing! There wasn’t no waffle mix nor was there coffee. Also when you ask for handicap room, they shouldn’t put you in a room all the way down the hallway, not everybody is in a wheelchair! Don’t stay here if you can’t walk good!! Poor excuse for a motel☹️☹️

My room was tidy but dirty. There was hair in/on the bed which grossed me out, and the room just felt dank. For me that is a deal breaker.

Rooms are nice and clean great for the cost, the staff are not so welcoming and can be rude they also do require a security deposit of $100.00 which is understandable but not a fan on that, overall the hotel is nice quiet and clean and they do serve a good breakfast.

We needed a place to stay driving across country. It was right off the highway it was very convenient.

I made a reservation for me and my dog. I got there and they told me we could not stay. They no longer had a room for us. At 11 at night and trying to find another place to stay.

"Get what you pay for" about sums it up. Then again, sometimes you just need a clean, quiet place to lay your head at night. For that, this place was sufficient.

The room was not very clean where there was an odor on the sheets. The mold was so extensive in the bathroom that the wall and ceiling at the shower is damaged.

It was somewhat secluded and "off the beaten path". I felt it was clean, allowed pets, and had a laundry area. I had to stay an extra night. It was higher than on Expedia, but they did accommodate me.

I was a tad leary of this property from some past reviews as to the cleanliness of this property. Since it was for 1 night I thought I could 'tough' it out for the price. I was very Pleasantly surprised that the entire property was immaculate inside. Without my asking I was given an upgrade to a suite for the night. The room was very clean. The sofa's fabric did have a couple of what looked like old stains. Other than that, the room and property were spotless. They had even planted 2 gorgeous summer flower gardens outside the entrance and out back where the window of my room looked out, was a thriving vegetable garden along the fence. The gentleman who checked me in was very pleasant and we had a nice fun conversation. I say Bravo and give it 5 Stars!

Stains in the sheets too. Me and my family had to sleep on top of the sheets. Do not recommend. We were out of the hotel by 6:30 AM.

We booked this room because we were traveling with my daughter's emotional support dog and it said it was a pet friendly hotel. When we arrived, they said they had no more pet rooms available, but could not refund our money because we booked through Expedia and had to contract them. When I requested the refund from Expedia, they had to get the approval from the property to allow the refund. They refused. So not only did we have to find a new hotel after midnight we had to pay for a separate hotel room for a 6 hour night's sleep.
