Reviews
The hotel has a friendly and helpful staff, with clean and comfortable rooms. However, there are frequent issues with maintenance and cleanliness, and the introduction of a parking fee has been a point of contention for many guests.

The room is nice and the breakfast is amazing but the pool wasn’t working for my entire two week stay over there in a summer break! So that’s unsat
- 3/5
The room needs more cleaning, especially the bathroom.
- 3/5
The pool was out of order the entire week we were there and the AC in our room didn’t seem to work well.
- 5/5
The property was great. It was very nicely cleaned. I absolutely loved it. I definitely got woken up. Somebody kept slamming the doors. Super early in the morning about 620 so that was definitely a bummer but everything else was perfect. It must’ve been people in their rooms next to us. I’m not too sure what it was. Overall experience was great though.
- 2/5
Now for the unfortunate drawbacks: the pool was closed during our entire 6-day stay. When we asked several staff members about its reopening, no one gave us a straight answer or even attempted to find out. The room was not super clean and was very poorly maintained. The furniture was dated, there was a large crack in the bathroom wall, and one of the credenzas in the room almost fell on top of us at least three times. The “blackout shades” woke my husband up at 6:30 am EVERY DAY of our vacation. And let’s not forget the false fire alarm at 6:30 am that no one apologized for. When we reached out to Expedia for a refund, we were promised contact from the property and that still has not happened after days. We were also promised additional One Key cash, and that is not in our account. This was our bucket list inaugural trip to Denver, and our stay was disappointing to say the least. We’d appreciate some follow-up from both Expedia and the property manager for resolution.

Nice The room I had some issues that needs to be addressed , I found a lot of issues that needs to be addressed

Very nice area! Actual cooked complimentary breakfast everyday. Clean rooms, and property! Location right off bypass so easy access to travel to hiking destinations, and a quick 25minute ride to downtown. Stayed for 6days, LOVED IT. Best hotel stay in years!
- 4/5
The breakfast is wonderful. The hotel is clean --but the maids clean every other day if you are staying there --which is ok, but not great for the price you are paying. The bath towels were thin and cheap --and they are stingy with the number they gave you, plus they don't clean and give fresh towels every day....you have to ask. For a hotel that nice, it was a turn-off for me.

Great location, staff and size of rooms. Cleaning needs improvement for rooms and general areas
- 5/5
The lady on reception was so lovely, welcoming and friendly, it was a great start to my stay. The cleaning staff were also super polite and friendly in the lift. Lovely spacious room. The location is a bit out of the way from the main areas of Denver but I had good transport links so it was not an issue for me
- 3/5
Paying for parking absurd. Also, the 2nd floor was freezing and my room thermostat was set to 78 and it felt like 60°
- 4/5
The room was beautiful. The staff were friendly. The pool was closed

The hotel guest rooms are not very clean. I found a patch of hair in my bed. I love the location and the common area, but the rooms need a good scrubbing. I will not bee staying here again. Also it's great pets are allowed, however you can see the 3rd floor rug stains. Please shampoo those hall carpets.
- 3/5
The staff is amazing, the breakfast is great, the rooms are getting run down and the floors in the rooms are in poor condition along with the furniture
- 4/5
The hotel is very nice and the staff I spoke to were very friendly. However, I was not informed that they had breakfast and I didn’t find out until the second morning of my stay when I was leaving for the day. It would have been nice to know. I don’t know what other amenities I missed out on while I was there. I also had an issue with the lights in my room turning on or off whenever the neighbors slammed their door (which happened often). The walls were super thin so I got to listen to the family next door one night of my stay which was not great. But it was very safe and comfortable for a solo female traveler. I had a horrible trip and never plan to return to Denver (not the fault of the hotel) but if I ever did I would stay there again.

The swinging door lock was unable to be used due to the door side of the lock having been removed and not replaced.

The price was right. The swinging door lock was unable to be used due to the door side of the lock having been removed and not replaced.

Great room!
- 2/5
Room size and amenities were as expected. Clean room. During a two night stay we had to go ask for full sized bath towels the first night as there were none in the bathroom. We didn’t receive any room service the next day despite not displaying the do not disturb sign. The pool was not clear or maintained.

Staff are awesome. The breakfast is amazing. Different egg bites everyday there and they were soo good. The breakfast is one of the best.

Clean, comfortable, and easy to access. Good breakfast and the evening tea is a nice touch. More linens and other room basics available or stored. The towels are thin and there was no liner bag in the bathroom waste bin. No exhaust fan in the bathroom is rough.

Checkout staff and breakfast team were great, breakfast was tasty. Bed and pillows were very lush. Floor felt sandy though.
- 5/5
Room was clean . Staff was very accommodating !
- 1.5/5
We have to switch rooms 3 times. First room was blowing only cold air, 2nd room heat wouldn’t come on at all. In the first room the sheets were dirty. The girl working at night seemed to be more interested in her phone rather than answering the work phone
- 3.5/5
We check in very late but still enjoyed the fitness room. The room was really spacious ( set up like a little condo) the location is great too. This place is kind of a newer build but shows already some serious wear and tear especially the bathroom.

I loved the kitchen that comes pre stocked with kitchenware and the view from the room was amazing and the best part was the breakfast it was better then most hotels and I loved the yogurt cart The staff was absolutely rude I sat up in my room after calling 5 times for a staff member then being placed on hold and then to here a staff member gossip and I still never got my towel and during my breakfast I went to go get pancakes because that day there was a person making pancakes with all types of stuff and I went up to her to place my order then be sat down but when I asked her and told her what type of pancake I wanted she shewed me off
- 4/5
Everything is awesome
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
Staff is always superb
- 3/5
Housekeeping because no one spoke English.
- 3/5
The guest services rep was nice and courteous, but the room didn’t seem clean. The floors were dirty and there were no washcloths in the bathroom. I would’ve made a call to ask for more towels but it was so late when I checked in. The tv didn’t work either.
- 4.5/5
I liked the room but I really liked the shower. It was way better than most motels Parking

- 1/5
They would not let me check in.
- 4/5
Breakfast was great, staff friendly, quiet, good location. I had an issue with the bathroom- the shower needs work as there was mold (or what appears to be mold) on the grout and it appears the pan on the bottom of the shower floor is separating from the shower wall. Not good. I don’t have that growing in my own bathroom at home, so why would I pay to stay in a place that has that? Disappointed in cleanliness of the room although I liked the set up. I probably would not stay here again
- 5/5
I love the hotel and the staff but its starting to get run down looking. Our room was repainted but there were paint spots all over the floor and super bad caulking repairs.
- 3/5
There’s a fee for parking only payable by QR code. Rooms are worn,
- 5/5
Wonderful customer service, lovely spread for breakfast, complimentary happy hour, well designed room with kitchenette/couch/desk/bed areas, and very reasonable pricing. Only downside is that they’ve started charging for parking since I was there last.
- 5/5
This property is always outstanding
- 5/5
Love it
- 4/5
Very nice hotel. I really liked the breakfast options.
- 5/5
Fantastic staff!! Clean and modern room, perfect for our visit
- 4/5
The thing I don't like is that they make you pay for parking now. And if it's a Sunday, there are a lot of people with their vehicles parking on Element property to go to their church right next door, taking parking spaces without paying. If you've left the hotel and come back to park, you'll find it very difficult to find a parking spot you've paid for. I brought this to the staff's attention but they didn't do anything about it.
- 5/5
I would highly recommend this property for families. The king suite with the fold out double bed is perfect. Parents have a good privacy and kids have their own TV and sitting area. The breakfast buffet was amazing with a rotating specialty bar with pancakes, French toast, omelettes.
- 5/5
Amazing. 10/10 will be coming again;)
- 5/5
Clean, safe, great amenities and breakfast. Parking $10/night bad.

- 4/5
Good location. Friendly staff. Good Indian restaurant close by
- 4/5
Not good on Sunday, everthing else was good.
- 1/5
$49 to park in an insecure parking lot with just as secure free parking right next door is extortion
- 5/5
Just a quick overnight trip and I am glad we picked this place. The small pool was fun for kids, the beds comfy, and clean rooms. The staff were easy to work with, kind and helpful. Close to the 470 and I-25 interchange making it an easy off and on stop with plenty to do in a short distance.
- 5/5
Staff was very attentive and welcoming. My room was very clean and spacious. There are plenty of places around to eat and drink. I'll definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Property was clean, staff was wonderful, breakfast was amazing! Parking was super easy. Hotel is easy to get to, convenient location. Really close to the mall and other restaurants. We will definitely stay again when we are back in the area.
- 1/5
I went to the front desk, asking about extending my stay and the associate told me I needed to go online and book it. I don’t know why he couldn’t have assisted me.
- 5/5
Parking should be free plus with with limited space. The rooms wall are thin to where you hear everything from next door.
- 5/5
E erything was good
- 4/5
Always a pleasure to stay.
- 2/5
AC and Heat were hard to manage. Pull out bed was not made. Room, shower, and shower head looked as if they had never been cleaned. There was also no noise cancellation between the walls or outside. I did like the kitchen setup though. Breakfast was not very good, not a lot of kid friendly options. We will most likely not be staying here again.
- 4/5
The staff were friendly. The breakfast was great for an included hotel meal. The location isn’t bad but it's a hike to get anywhere. The hotel was pretty noisy and could be cleaner in some areas. Parking was not free or convinient.
- 5/5
My favorite hotel in Denver
- 5/5
Great stay.
- 2/5
Property feels like they stopped decorating/modernizing half way through the project.
- 5/5
Only thing I didn't like is not knowing I was gonna have to pay for parking
- 4/5
The property was great besides the guest services/front desk.
- 1/5
Very dirty. Unfortunately I booked a non refundable rate through Hotels.com. I didn't realized that this waived my right to a clean hotel room. This place was really bad. I had to pay for this room and in addition pay for a clean room next to this property. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Pubic hair on floor, jelly stuck to countertop and food stuck on nightstand. After I made my observations known, the front desk attendant went to the room and came back and said, "it's clean, I don't see any problems"! So, as you imagine I left a room I paid for and paid for another in order to not sleep in disgust and filth.
- 5/5
Room set up was awesome and we love the happy hour option being a very nice thing as well!
- 2/5
Our bed was sort of backwards with the head tilting downward. The pillows were not very comfortable for us. We were guests for a few nights so we didn’t ask for a different room, though we should have done so. All in all, we will not stay there again.
- 5/5
This was the first time I stayed at The Element Hotel and it exceeded my expectations. The staff was very, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was better than expected and the staff kept the tables very clean, always had enough food and was there to assist with anything you might need. I would definitely choose to stay there again.
- 4/5
The Hotel is very nice and I enjoyed the room a lot. They were going through obvious renovations and on my floor the paint thinner smell was quit strong. The grounds around the hotel are dirty and unkept.
- 3/5
The stuff at the desk was nice. The bathroom had a stickey floor. The lamp next to the bed didn't work. The shampoo and conditioner in the shower were empty. I went outside to my vehicle to get something and a ticket was on my windshield that said scan this QR code to pay your parking fee. I took the ticket inside to the desk and asked why this was placed on my car. They said it was something new that they have. I said i have stayed here many times and never paid for parking before and now its $20 per vehicle that you can not pay inside. You have to pay it online. The time before i stayed i had issues with my room that they fixed and i thought ok maybe they over looked a few things but this time the issues did not get fixed or replaced and now you pay for parking. I will not return. There are many more hotels around this area that have free parking even with security that i will be staying at next time i need a hotel in the area.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful when checking in. Would definitely book again
- 1/5
Parking fee to park at the hotel parking lot even if you are a guest at the hotel. Alll other yeaes I have stayed there wasn't no parking daily fee. Oh well wont be coming back again.

My family drove over 6 hours with two young kids to get to Denver. They were looking forward to relaxing in a nice room. HOWEVER, when they went to check in they were told that the Element was overbooked and would not honor the reservation. NO HELP WHATSOEVER!!!!!! An email was sent to us at 6pm telling us that they wouldn't have a room.....just about the same time my family arrived to check in!!!!!!!!! This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!! I had to spend over an hour on the phone to find somewhere else for them to stay. Again, UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!
- 5/5
Awesome hotel !!
- 1/5
The Guy who checked me in was great, the parking cost me $10 to park there. Then we get into our room and while my wife was using the restroom the maintenance guy just walked in our room didn’t knock I was in my towel and my wife was using bathroom . Walked right in and when I stopped him from walking in bathroom. He got mad and didn’t believe me when I said I checked in. He then stood right there and called to verify that I was supposed to be there. In my towel. Then he said well I’m just putting these stickers on the mirror in bathroom and walked into the bathroom while my wife was in there. We went to front desk and spoke to the woman that was there now and she did not care if he did what he did and just said I’ll tell the manager, very rude. We packed up our stuff and without a sorry or a refund from the Hotel we left. We will be speaking to a lawyer . Was excited to stay there until the intruder maintenance guy and rude front desk person…..besides that the rooms were cool for the couple hours we were there. .
- 1/5
Motel has not been maintained. It's run down and the hall wreak of curry.
- 1/5
Our group (6 rooms) stayed there 5 years ago and loved it. We were very disappointed with our recent experince there. It was run down and wreaked of curry in the hallways. We won't go back!
- 5/5
Clean and food service
- 3/5
Yes
- 5/5
Really good service and surprise was a fresh pancake station. A Chobani yoghurt bar was very welcome. Room was quite comfortable.
- 2/5
Clean
- 2/5
The hotel rooms are starting to look a little dingy. The floors were not cleaned that well. Our toilet didn't work - which we reported at c/out. The parking fee seems unnecessary for the location.
- 3/5
The hotel looked nice, the lobby was pleasantly decorated. The customer service person did not tell us about the parking fee, the reception is only beer and wine, she did not tell us that when we asked about it. The website says pet friendly but does not list the fee. I would not stay here again or recommend this place. The bed was horrible.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Wish the hotel pool water was warmer
- 5/5
I was so very happy to have found Element after a long drive trip from Texas. It was so special in terms of accommodating me and my puppy. 1st floor room with easy access to the outside, it was like a little studio apt. Bathroom shower amazing and the staff was beyond professional and friendly!!!!
- 5/5
We we only spent the night, but the bed was comfy, room was nice. Breakfast was good and they went out of their way to get us ice for our water bottles.
- 5/5
Overall a great place to stay. Close to shopping and dining. Room was clean and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
- 4/5
Nice place
- 5/5
I won’t stay anywhere else in Denver. It’s my favorite hotel!
- 5/5
Liked openness of public spaces and breakfast offerings and area.
- 3/5
My vehicles were stolen from parking lot. Locked and alarm - no cameras on building or adjoining buildings. We were told we could park in that parking lot - and regret it.
- 5/5
Super friendly staff and great value.
- 5/5
The Element was mostly clean. There was a little bit of garbage left over from a past guest in the cabinet under the kitchenette but everything else was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. Great vibe! I love the space of the room! Would recommend more parking
- 5/5
Comfortable and clean place for our 3 night stay.
- 2/5
The door to the room did not shut completely and secure. 1st night when sleeping door was open all night while I was sleeping. the next morning when I awoke I noticed the door did not completely shut so I pushed the door to close I thought it was me so I didn't think anything about it. Then that morning I went for breakfast when returning to the room The door was open again. I reported it to the front desk and was assured maintenance would take care of it. When I returned to the room that night I once again noticed the door did not shut again. The following day I mentioned it again when I returned that evening there was maid service when they completed the cleaning and left the room the door didn't shut and my room was open all day while I was gone. I went to the front desk again and complained for one there was no safe in the room and 2nd my room was open all day. The clerk stated the maintenance man had just left for the day and would be notified the next day to be looked at. The 3rd day there's was no maid service and before I left for the day I insured the door was closed completely and locked for the day. When I returned that evening I once again noticed the door had not been looked at and still didn't completely shut. Went down to the front desk to once again complain the desk clerk told me she couldn't move to a different room because they were booked and wrote my complain down to be taken care of, It wasn't. The 4th day that morning I complained again I was assured it
- 4/5
Excellent breakfast and room was sufficient. Staff was friendly and were conscientious. Overall, great value.
- 4/5
Our stay here was good. It was a clean and updated place. Check in and out was an easy process. The rooms aren't as quiet as I'd hope - we could easily hear our neighboring room's phone conversations and while the blinds look nice they are far from room darkening.
- 2/5
Did no stay at this hotel again
- 5/5
Convenient location
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast and evening relax hour.
- 5/5
Great as always. Our #1 choice.
- 5/5
We stayed here for two nights and had a great experience! It was the nicest pet friendly hotel we’ve stayed at so far and the pet fee was pretty reasonable at $50. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the free breakfast was delicious! Great hotel, we will definitely be back!
- 5/5
Everything went well
- 4/5
I love the hotel! It smells nice and the rooms are comfortable. The gym was dirty is my only complaint
- 5/5
Upgraded to a nice suite. Clean nice bathrooms and kitchenette. Perfect room.
- 5/5
Element is a safe, quiet, comfortable place to stay!
- 3/5
Property was fine for a one-night stay, but bathroom door rubbed on floor and didn't close, maintenance people were fixing the lock and caulking the shower when we arrived after check-in, room arranged so that you are looking right at the bed/pillows whenever you open the door, which diminishes any privacy in the room, also all windows can be looked into straight from other rooms.
- 5/5
Breakfast was really nice, rooms were clean, amazing staff, just a great hotel to stay at
- 2/5
Breakfast was gross on Saturday. Eggs no flavor, sponges, sauage was not good. Arrived Friday evening to a woman of the night at the front door in small shorts and only thing covering her breasts was a pair of suspenders. Our children were shocked. Front desk girl was arguing with an upset customer and she kept rolling her eyes instead of creating a solution. Had to wait 30 min to check in. Room was not up to standards. Phone was broken, appliances had dints all over. Worst of all, hot water on the 3rd floor does not come to the shower for at least 20 min. Was hard for everyone to get a shower.
- 3/5
We have stayed several times at The Element over the years. This trip and last couple trips we’ve noticed it has really started to age. They haven’t kept up with maintenance and it’s starting to show. They also no longer offering housekeeping service while you are there . We’ve always stayed 2 nights at a time and have always received housekeeping the days we are there but we’re surprised to find out they no longer do that. We made our own beds while we were there, which we can do but were surprised they didn’t mention that upon check in nor is it reflected in the cost of stay. The rooms we stayed in were dusty and there were patches in the ceiling where they’ve done some poor attempts at maintenance. The checkin staff and breakfast staff were friendly and we do appreciate the breakfast inclusion as well as during the week they have a complimentary beer and wine get together which was fun. Overall we will stay elsewhere on our next trip. Hopefully they remodel soon.
- 3/5
There was a tube light in my room that could not be turned off unless you turned off the master light, which you need for the bathroom light. There was no extra pillow or blanket and the only one coffee cup, which leaked. You could clearly hear people in surrounding rooms and the bed was a bit saggy. It was clean and eco friendly
- 4/5
PLUS: Newer hotel, very clean and comfortable, with a nice kitchenette. Complimentary breakfast was good. We had excellent mountain views. MINUS: Walls are paper thin. People in adjoining room were very loud. They apparently cooked dinner, which permeated our room with the smells. Room is quite basic. The furniture looked like it was used and upcycled. Overall, good place to stay if you're on a tight budget and looking for a clean, basic room.
- 5/5
The limited staff was extremely friendly & helpful. The hotel was clean & the location was very close to everything. It was just s short 5 minute drive to the train.
- 5/5
Great place to stay very pleasant stay!
- 5/5
Phenomenal property will definitely stay again!!
- 5/5
Very nice. Employees were so friendly. The bed was very comfortable. The little kitchen gave us a chance to eat in some since we had an extended stay. Nice breakfast too. The housekeeping did not speak English for the most part, so asking them for things was challenging.
- 5/5
Convenient to the places I needed to attend.
- 2/5
Very noisy, tile/wood floors in rooms are a bad idea, no sound dampening. Walls are thin, can hear talking/tv in adjoining rooms, can hear everyone talking in the hallway when you’re trying to sleep
- 4/5
Breakfast was very good and the staff very professional! The cleaning staff missed sweeping the floor of my room.
- 5/5
The property was great and the staff weee super helpful and friendly. In a great area where I felt safe and extremely close to great dining options like Fogo De Chao! Will likely come again.
- 4/5
Rooms not as clean as expected. Breakfast was great.
- 5/5
Great place for a fair price
- 2/5
There is a nearby Mexican restaurant that I highly recommend though.
- 2/5
I book the apartment many weeks before my vacation. However, when I arrived, they did not have the room available for us. They told us that there is another guest who has medical issue and would like to extend her stay. They sent us to another hotel nearby with lower quality and compared to what we booked. This hotel is much lower quality and smaller. They also offer us the Bonvoy member with some point as compensation, however their member number does not work when I try to activate the membership. Basically, it looks like a fake number. They just gave us at that time to make us happy. This is a very bad service and organization.
- 4/5
Hotel was nice and clean. Staff was also great. Pillows aren’t supportive. Room was nice. Internet wasn’t sufficient. Continued to drop off my divorces. Other than that, great hotel.
- 5/5
This was my first time in Denver, and I was wondering how long it would take to get to tourist attractions in downtown Denver due to traffic. No problem at all. It was a direct freeway drive to the downtown Denver tourist attractions. The estimated time provided by Google maps regarding how long it would take to get to a tourist attraction was accurate. Free Wi-Fi, free parking, swimming pool, breakfast included, washer and dryer on premises.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay! We arrived a little later than expected so when we walked into our room and saw how lovely it was we were thrilled. The entire facility was clean and well appointed, the staff were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again should we return to the area.
- 5/5
Staff is friendly and helpful. Very comfortable to stay for longer periods of time.
- 4/5
The Element is a great hotel with courteous customer service. Rooms are very nice.
- 4/5
Friendly staff. Bedding was comfortable. Breakfast was good. The showers took 10 minutes to warm up. The heating/cooling system in the room was not accurate and took quite a long time to get to a comfortable temperature. We were disappointed there was not a hot tub but we enjoyed the pool.
- 5/5
We loved the pool!
- 4/5
Nice gym, complimentary HH. Water in shower never seems to get warm. We have taken cold showers 3 of the 4 times we have stayed at the Element
- 2/5
The HVAC system blasted cold air on the bed even though the thermostat was on 71. I could hear the highway noise. The TV turned itself on randomly, which was creepy.
