    When we arrived, we ask the man outside for valet to take our bags up. He said they didn’t do it and brought us a cart to load ourselves which was hard to steer. The breakfast was sparse and not open at 10:45 because they were setting up for lunch.

    The property was very nice and the staff was super, with the exception of the evening guy at the check in desk . Everyone was friendly , upbeat and enthusiastic the evening guy in the check in desk was cold and appeared to not care . Jackie who worked with golfing aspect of the hotel was amazing !!!

    Room didn’t look like it was cleaned prior to our arrival. I assume it hadn’t been used in a while considering the accumulated dust. The bathroom shower curtain was not usable and it was tangled around the curtain rings, which were also loose and some broken. For a luxury rating, it didn’t feel luxurious at all

    The hotel structure and grounds are quite beautiful. However it’s clearly apparent that the hotel is at least 5 if not 10 years past a restoration and refurbishing project. Pool area is very dated, metal fencing on the property is falling over, there is only so much paint and caulk you can use before it’s time to replace. The barn door bath door fell off the track the first time we tried to use it. Barn doors dates this hotel at least 20 years since it was last touched.

    I like the overall aesthetic of the hotel. Our balcony faced the pool, hot tub and golf course which was a pretty view. We also surprisingly got to see fireworks outside our balcony. A robe and slippers were there which was nice. Parking was also super convenient. They had a live singer there for dinner that sang acoustic and played guitar. The view wasn’t much of a golf course it was more of a view of the pool and hot tub and due to being by the hot tub and pool at times it was noisy. The tv didn’t work we had to call someone to fix it and it as mounted crooked. The pillows stunk and the coffee we made at white stuff floating in it after it was brewed. The waitresses at dinner were so rude and looked unhappy. The draft beer was flat and my second cocktail which was $15 was made awful! The food was so overpriced as well as the drinks. Restrooms were not baby friendly as there were no changing tables for my baby and toddler.

    The Westin was a beautiful hotel. They did not get our booking from hotels.com so it caused a bit of chaos and we had to wait several hours for them to figure it out. The staff was on top of it and very kind, so i have no complaints with them! I’m not sure what happened on the hotels.com side, but that could have eased the situation had everything shown up as it should, considering we paid in full when we booked.

    The staff and front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was great and updated and the beds were so comfortable. Perfect weekend get away.     The hotel is beautiful and in a beautiful area with beatiful view..BUT the service could have been better it did not align. I felt the carpets needed cleaning especially with some guests having their pets. I simply expected more for price and location. Staff did not go above and beyond to accomodate.

    The advertised hot tub did not have working jets which also led to the well heated tub to be covered with leaves. The room was in tip top condition and well decorated. All staff from front desk, cleaning, Starbucks to bar were fine. I guess another issue would be the lack of valet parking when we arrived about 6:30 p.m. Thursday. We ended up needing to park over 100 yards from the entrance. Oh, there was also no bellman to take our suitcases, hang ups and coolers to the room.

    I made a reservation for 2 queen beds and called to tell them my check in time would be 1030 and they okayed that. When I got there there was no more 2 queen beds available and gave us a pull out “roller” bed. Definitely disappointed in that. But everything else was great. We really enjoyed our stay.

    My dog and I stayed here for NYE and had the best experience. The property is secluded enough to feel like you’ve escaped the chaos of DFW and the grounds are wooded and relaxing. The service and staff were so kind and attentive. The spa was the highlight. I had an incredible massage by Greg and facial by Melissa. Everyone was so nice to my dog and it’s a very dog friendly property. Bed was comfortable, bed was clean and pool area is huge! Love that the spa had a steam room! Can’t wait to come back!

    We’ve been staying here for over 20 years now and every time it’s five star staff and accommodations. This place is timeless without feeling dated. In our most recent stay, the bellhop even offered to go to the local CVS to get some medicine late at night for my wife. They really go above and beyond to serve with excellence and it’s a beautiful property that’s located by everything you want!!! Love this place!

    Clean rooms, friendly staff. Only complaint would be that the patio was shut down too early. Understand the pool being shut down, but weather was still nice enough to sit outside. When we went out to the patio, all the fire patio tables had been taped up to not use. Would have been nice to still utilize those.

    We got a room on 2nd floor and throughout the stay, there was a strong mildew-like smell in the hallway. My friend and I had to hold our breath when leaving the room and back to the room. We even told the front desk and the smell never went away. Other than that, our stay was great!

    Fantastic hotel! Loved the ammenities especially the pool and hot tub. Only negative was I got some kind of stomach bug/food poisoning from the crab cakes. My family and I spent a special weekend together eating all sorts of food and I was the only one to have crab cakes and ended up in the bathroom for 2 days after. Otherwise the hotel was fantastic!! Just stay away from the crab cakes if you order room service.

    For a relaxing vacation, much needed to destress, the amount of noise from the pool was very overwhelming and went on from very early morning until after 11:00pm. One night I tried to call and confirm when the pool closed, nobody answered. I went to the desk just to ask when the pool would close, and the employee was SO rude and dismissive because others had already complained as well. My room was incorrect, when I addressed that as well and paying more for a different room the woman at the desk told me I should have said something sooner. I would never stay at this property again, and if I didn’t have a friend in the industry with this brand, I’d never even consider them anywhere again.

    The hotel has it all, golf, swimming pool, spa, two full size bars, a Starbucks, a restaurant, and a unique large area apart from the lobby that has a cozy couch arrangement for a family gathering with a large table off to the side with electric to power up your laptops, study, or play board games. I have never seen anything like it in an hotel and it offered a setting with the comfort of home. Once or twice a week there is entertainment by a singer/ guitarist in the bar area.

    We have stayed here a few times now, and can honestly say we have had great service each time we have visited. The staff are always helpful and the hotel is very clean.     Housekeeping never came to our room. I had to call and ask for towels. Front desk argued and blamed Expedia for making a mistake when I clearly had a receipt showing 2 breakfast included. Pool was disgustingly dirty! I would not stay at this property ever again!

    When we arrived the cart we were given was VERY broken, the man that gave it to us apologized and said that if you bring your own luggage up it’s the one you have to use. I had a baby in my arms and was unable to push it at all. We paid extra for a balcony… that overlooks the parking lot. Don’t waste your money there. Check in was amazing, everyone was super friendly and helped us with breakfast buffets. The rooms are spacious but the shower was completely broken. There was no stop to the turn of the knob so you didn’t know when it was hot to cold or when it was switching to the hand held shower. We will stay again but will not pay for a balcony and will check the shower before we get comfortable in the room.

    Enjoyed our stay. Hotel needs to update rooms and bathrooms. Towels and sheets had holes and everything looks a little worn. But overall we still enjoyed staying here and loved the pool! Very disappointed in Hotel.com because it shows total charged, and it appears it includes the extra fees but does not. So when checking out of the hotel, it was quite a bit more than expected. I wish they would include all the fees or at least not list them above the total. Because that is not going to be your total! Misleading. Also, disappointed we had to pay an extra $20 for a late check out of one hour. And heads up...the breakfast voucher does not include the buffet!

    We really enjoy the Westin Stonebriar property and have stayed here previously. It is large and luxurious. The service is great and the rooms are well decorated. We had to ask for many things that are usually provided without having to ask (water bottles, towels, robes, etc) but upon request they were provided quickly.

    Lobby is beautiful. Room, was outdated and there was a big hole in the carpet in the room. Bathroom floor in room was dirty from the 1st day. Not sure it has been moped in years. On Friday & Saturday night, late in the evening into the morning, loud people off of our balcony talking . Got stuck in the elevator with some people. We had high gopes for this property. On a positive note, the entire staff from the front desknto the restaurant were fantastic. They get a 10 out of 10.

    The hotel strikes a great balance between comfort and professionalism—exactly what we needed during a work trip. The rooms were clean, quiet, and well-appointed, making it easy to relax and recharge after a long day. Staff were consistently courteous and attentive, which we truly appreciated given our tight schedule. We didn’t have time to explore all the amenities, but everything we did experience—from the efficient check-in process to the comfortable common areas—reflected a high standard of hospitality. Would definitely consider staying here again, whether for business or a longer leisure trip.

    As soon as we got in the room the toilet was clogged and would not flush. The lobby was full of fans/air conditioners that made it extremely loud downstairs. They refused to turn the waterfalls on at the pool.

    Loved everything about our stay. It was perfect for a couples weekend, but would have also been great for the whole family. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfy. The service was excellent everywhere. The food at the restaurant and the bar tasted great...get the quesadillas. The pool was equally great for both couples and families with kids. Kids will love the slide. Adults will like the poolside drink and food service. Definitely will be back.

    Comfortable beds, free parking, very nice staff, a restaurant and Starbucks on site. Big pool to relax, family friendly and safe place to stay. I would certainly stay here again in my next trip.

    When booking I had two options, daily housekeeping or not, I chose daily. Nothing the first day, I had to go to the front desk and request towels. The second day no housekeeping, I had to go to the desk and request towels and cleaning. The overall staff appeared to be at a low level, I learned that they were just getting geared up for the season. If you're considered a four star hotel and your open, gear up on your own time, NOT mine! I received the final bill in my email, reviewed upon arriving home, each night I was charged a Resort Service Fee of $25.00 per night, three, for what? It was not disclosed prior to booking, after booking or upon checking in. Valet, $25.00 per night, they had half the lot coned off as valet parking only, leaving no choice when arriving back in the evening. We attended a wedding at the adjacent golf course, that was very nice and the food was excellent, with I could have said the same about the accommodations, very disappointed, won't be staying at a Westin again!

    Title: “Reliable Comfort with Room for Improvement” I always enjoy staying at The Westin. The customer service, facilities, and food offerings consistently meet high standards, and this visit was no exception. Room service was a nice touch, though I do have a few suggestions to enhance the experience: • Consider adding alcoholic beverages to the in-room dining menu via the app for added convenience. • The short rib with polenta had great flavor but arrived nearly room temperature, which took away from the overall enjoyment. • The corn chowder, unfortunately, didn’t quite hit the mark. • The tacos were tasty but could benefit from a crema or similar accompaniment to add moisture and depth. On the upside, the orange creamsicle cocktail at the bar was flawless—definitely a highlight! I hope that remains a menu staple. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would absolutely return. Thanks to The Westin team for helping make my Mother’s Day weekend special.

    The room was fantastic. Bed was extra comfortable and the AC held up well. A lot of fixtures are loose and needed adjustment and one of the fire alarm devices was missing a base plate (I design fire systems so it especially bothered me). Parking does get pretty bad at night if you go somewhere and come back late. If you have the money than the restaurant is very good but expect $80+ per person for dinner. Room service is just a smaller menu of the restaurant so if you’re feeling snackish and don’t want a full meal you will have to find somewhere else.

    Westin is a good option for Frisco stay. This hotel is located next to a golf course. It is quiet area. In general parking is easy, but when some event happens there parking becomes challenging. Ate breakfast there every morning in the restaurant - food was good, but the service was very slow, not due to any fault of the staff, but because they were so few of them, it needs more staff.

    Breakfast was of a good quality and we had a choice of buffet or menu in our prepaid room rate. The freshly made omelettes were especially nice. We only ate at Beans & Barrel (the cafe) on one occasion as found the choice a bit poor. The restaurant had the same menu and was very quiet each night so we didn’t feel that was worth it. There are a couple of good restaurants close by - Cantina Laredo (modern Mexican) and Aria (Eastern Mediterranean). We did enjoy relaxing in the outside bar terrace each evening though and if you enjoy live music, there’s usually someone singing in the bar area. The pool and whirlpool were also a bonus and despite it being only April, was ok to swim in.

    Beautiful property with lots of amenities. Traveled with family and the property was quiet at night making it easy to sleep. Comfy beds & spacious rooms. Pool is big and has a fun water slide and splash pad to keep kids occupied and having fun! Will definitely be back.

    We had a serious moth problem in our room. They kept appearing at night in both the bedroom and bathroom. In trying to figure out where they were coming from, we looked behind the beds and were shocked by how dirty it was—clearly it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. To make matters worse, we even found a dead moth stuck to one of the pillows. It was really unpleasant. While the property itself was decent overall, the moth issue and lack of cleanliness were major turn-offs.
