For the most part it was nice. The breakfast was great. Our room had things wrong with it the bathroom. One of the corner shelves was broken off and laying on the tub. The tub faucet was coming out of the wall and the shower head base was loose. There were black long hairs in the comforter.

The TV in the room went in and out the both nights there. Plus there was a dirty water smell in the lobby. Like they used dirty mop water to clean the floor.

The elevator passed over our floor a couple of times. Our room Tv was broken, as was the lobby tv, breakfast area coffee maker, pancake machine, and the hotel’s second elevator.

Mattress was comfortable. Peeling paint in the bathroom, a constant buzz sound we couldn't locate, the outlet between the beds did not hold a plug, the breakfast would have been acceptable if the pancake machine worked, and the room smelled like wet dog.

Beyond this, the AC units in the room were TERRIBLE. There was no way to control the fan and every time the AC kicked on, it sounded like a jet engine taking off. It was impossible to sleep with the unit cycling on and off, so eventually we turned the entire thing off overnight. And then after ours was off, I could hear the unit next door cycling on and off. Two very bad nights of sleep, breakfast staff was under-prepared even though they knew the hotel was fully booked.

We were greeted by friendly staff. Hotel was clean. Our room was clean. The free breakfast was hot and delicious. Great for traveling with family.

After checking in at 11:00 pm after a long day of driving all we wanted was a little television and a comfy bed. The tv in our room did not work. After talking to the front desk in the morning we were informed that a whole section of the hotel was with out tv. First question to them was why were we not informed at check in (they already knew),or put in a different section of the hotel were our traveling companions room was. When asked for some sort of compensation they said they couldn't do anything because we booked with Expedia. They even had a board up that said "we promise to make it right ." Disappointed in stay and how it was handled.

Staff was welcoming and very helpful. The beds were comfy and clean. Our trip required a pull out mattress and the mattress was yellow and very old, not comfortable. The television did not work. When we told staff they did offer us a new room but told us that many of the rooms TVs did not work. Pool was clean and warm, kids had a great time swimming. There was no hot breakfast due to oven not working, fruit that was available was bruised and old looking. The coffee tasted like the machine had not been cleaned in a long time.

Everything was good. My only complaint is that there are NO vent fans in the bathrooms. No way to vent smells and using sprays will set off their smoke alarms.

We love Holiday Inn Express, however this hotel needs some updating and repair. The handle on the fire door in the stairwell was broken off making it hard to get onto our floor using the steps. The room was was just ok. Not as clean as we had hoped. The sheets were very worn and pilled, making them feel rough. The bathroom was also not as clean as we would have preferred. Doors and handles in the hotel were really dirty-covered in grease and food. We would likely not stay at this location again .

Check-in staff was unfriendly and not very helpful, which made for a poor first impression. The room and property were great overall. Breakfast was just okay, as they ran out of several items early, but the breakfast staff was very nice.

Upon arrival in the lobby. There was leftovers from an event piled up on a counter across from the check in counter. When we entered the room it smelled moldy and was dusty. The shower was full of black and yellowish mold around the edges and the shower and counter. Hair was on the bathroom floor. The bed comforter had a what looked like a blood stain. We did not shower nor use the comforter and sprayed the whole bedroom and toilet with sanitizer. Glad we only booked this room for one night. Early the next morning we left. I will never book this hotel again. We advised the man at reception desk and all he said he would do is advise maintenance. I shouldn't have been charged for this stay at all. It was the worse experience.

I stayed here while my house was getting some work done. Check in was a little slow, the bed was very comfortable. I wound up turning the heat off because the noise was too much. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel is in a nice location.

I cannot leave enough about this hotel. Me and my family of 6 plus 5 animal were displaced due to weather conditions and losing power for 11 days. The staff was absolutely amazing, kind, attentive, willing to lend a hand. The rooms were comfy, hotel clean all the time, breakfast was great and warm coffee all day. I will recommend this hotel to everyone!

Breakfast food was hot and fresh. Staff was friendly and polite. No issues with the staff or food whatsoever. Size of bed but it is not their fault. Just have a lot of kids. There wasn’t anything we really didn’t like.

The breakfast was great. The hotel and room was clean. We had easy access to the freeway to go downtown for touring and entertainment. I didn't like the fact that we could actually hear the people upstairs walking around. We couldn't get the shade to close so we had a street light shining in our room all night. We didn't ask to change rooms because the light wasn't very bright. We were in room 333.

Comfortable The front desk attendant when we checked out was rude. There were some rags on a cart behind her desk and my husband asked if he could use one to clean the windshield on our vehicle. She gave it to him and then said he had to bring it back. He said okay and then when he took it back she insisted he give her our room number. The rag was rinsed out and just wet. I wondered if she was going to charge us for use of a "rag".

Favorite place to stay for an overnight getaway that isn't near downtown. The complimentary body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower is so fabulous. I appreciate the small touches Our coffee pot did not work and there wasn't one we could use downstairs

We were not able to sleep at all. Heater in the room was very loud, we turned it off, fell asleep and at about 5:30 noise from upstairs started. When you have family with children, they should be accommodated on a ground floor.

The positives of our stay: 1. The staff were very nice and friendly. 2. Breakfast included. Few negatives: 1. 2 queens, 1 of the fitted sheets was stained, we had to ask for another. 2. The heater was so loud we did not sleep much. Room 227.

Very courteous staff and rare amenities! Only issue was the pool (water is cold and the chairs are more like table chairs than pool chairs) and the bathroom also had hair all over the floor. There was a bottle of “slime” left inside our closet, so I don’t have confidence that our room was cleaned properly.

I liked staying in this area because it was less expensive than Downtown but still easy access. There's plenty to eat in the area. Quality was typical Holiday Inn Express. No complaints! I would stay here again.

My family and I were in town for a tennis tournament and this hotel was 20 minutes from the courts. The hotel was nice and comfortable. The continental breakfast was really nice and the room was clean. We really like the area and will definitely stay in this hotel again.

We stayed overnight. There was a very questionable soft spot in the floor near the ice machine on the second level. We tried asking the front clerk about area traffic and the area in general (didn’t seem to be familiar of either or helpful at all) but otherwise we found the room comfortable. We would stay here again if needed. Basic stay for a basic price.

Door did not close without being pulled hard. And the bathroom door had the same issue. Many plugs/outlets in the room did not work. The beds were uncomfortable.

Cons: Suite is not a suite. It is just a regular room with a sofa bed. No separate area. Exercise table in room broken. Not enough parking spaces. Will stay again but won’t pay suite prices. Just get regular room as it is identical to regular rooms.

My bathroom door wouldn’t close, there was mold and gunk in the bathroom- particularly behind the soap dispensers in the shower.

The beds were really comfortable. Room was clean. Staff was nice, but not overly friendly. Breakfast was just your typical hotel breakfast with pancakes instead of waffles, but they were slow to restock when things ran out (cinnamon rolls, yogurt, eggs). The hotel is a about 30 minutes from downtown Nashville and is a good, cheaper option if you don't mind the commute and paying to park once you get there.

Unfortunately dust every caked onto ac unit hairs on floors and stuff by bed. Rust on door to bathroom, scrapes on ceiling, stains on lamp, scrapes on walls.

From the speedy check in on arrival, to the comfy bed, to the morning breakfast prior to check out our stay was a 10/10.

The location of this hotel is awesome as it’s so close to restaurants and within a short distance of shopping and grocery stores. We read reviews and they were good so we booked a room. Both outside trash cans were overflowing by front door. The desk clerk had an area where she was sitting and her shoes and some deodorant were in sight. She was also smoking out front both times we came back to property. Bathroom shower needs some attention. Caulk is failing and looked dirty. The worst thing was the noisy ac unit. Every time it turned on during the night it was so noisy it woke us up. Won’t stay here again. Sorry to say.

The hotel itself is very clean the area around the hotel however, not so much. The area is very run down. Saw a few people strung out on something standing in the road. It’s too bad because the town used to be so quaint.

Clean and cozy. I could hear the neighbors a bit, but I think they were more rambunctious than usual. Lots of dining in the area, and located a walking distance from a grocery store. Overall, a good stay!

Pleasantly surprised at this hotel. The staff was very pleasant, the lobby clean and bright and the room very large and clean. We stay at holiday inns due to their low priced pet policy. This hotel was one of the nicest I have stayed at in a long time.

This was the perfect stop on our way home from Florida. It’s not easy to find accommodations for a larger family and this was perfect. It was right off the freeway, it was clean and new and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Overall the hotel was very clean, unfortunately the room we stayed in had multiple issues. First, the air conditioner was extremely loud and rattled all night and secondly the bathroom door handle was broken. But, the staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean.

The staff and room were good. However we were very disappointed with the breakfast. They told us the breakfast staff did not show up so no warm food. No eggs, sausage or bacon no biscuits n gravy. One of the reasons we stay at Holiday Inn Express is for the breakfast that is included. They did have 3 people working behind the desk. Seems they should be able to help.

This hotel is starting show show signs of age. The last day the breakfast crew never showed up. I’ve noticed dings and dents in walls. Sheets are getting worn. Over all not bad if you’re looking for a couple of nights

Staff was friendly enough, the room rate was quite a bit higher than advertised. But, we were so tired we just accepted it.

This property is always our go to when visiting Nashville. Its just outside of the city, so it's nice and quiet. Good choices for dining around too.

Brandie was awesome. We were not sure if the thermostat was functioning, and she came to our room to check on it. Made us feel really welcome. The room was great, and the hot breakfast was one of the best I have ever seen in a hotel.
