- 5/5
Perfect for what I needed, a place to get some rest.
- 3/5
My sink was dirty and barely drained. Shower gross. My bedding looked slept in. To remedy the problem they gave me bedding and went ahead and let me change it myself. Room service? Staff was nice, but that was it. Won't return!

The absolute disgust I had for this property cannot even be put into words. The floor was squishy, yes, I said squishy. Not installed properly, multiple materials used for repairs, floors were lifting up and separating. NOT ONCE did we get our room cleaned. Not once did we get checked on or asked if we were satisfied. The pillows were crap, nothing smelled proper and the place was absolutely disgusting. We were there for 4 days on an Expedia trip otherwise I would have canceled and asked for a refund. This property is about 30 minutes from Nashville. There were broken down cars in the parking lot, neighbor had 7 people in their room, and it smelled like smoke even though it says $200 fine for smoking. It has never been painted since smokers were allowed. I just kept thinking this was a slum lord. Expedia did us dirty for my daughter's birthday trip to Nashville. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
- 5/5
For the days that I was there, it was pretty good
- 2.5/5
The room smell. It smelled like cigarettes
- 1/5
Despite having a confirmed reservation, the hotel was somehow double booked, and we were left standing in the lobby at 11pm with two exhausted kids for over 45 minutes with zero clear explanation or communication. The lobby itself smelled strongly of smoke—completely unacceptable, especially with children. The situation only got worse as we watched the staff struggle to handle the chaos. One employee was at least trying, running around physically checking rooms (thank you!), clearly overwhelmed. Meanwhile, Tammy behind the counter was loudly swearing in front of guests, including our children, offering no help and creating an uncomfortable, almost chaotic scene. Her behavior was completely inappropriate, our daughter was visibly scared and started crying…. After already spending 7 hours on the road, with another long drive ahead the next day, this was the last thing we needed. Our kids were begging us to leave, and we ultimately had no choice but to ask for a refund and find another place to stay—at midnight. Tammy used sarcasm til the end…. Completely unacceptable. Avoid at all costs.
- 2/5
A lot of rooms for improvements..C’mon you can do better than than.
- 4/5
Room was kinda drab and there was some dirt; ac was working on and off
- 1/5
The bathroom had curly hairs on the floor in corner near bathtub. We wanted to go to sleep but the room next to us had screaming going on. I finally called front desk after about a hour of it. Then they said they would address it. But still loud. 1/2star
- 2/5
Bed spread was badly stained. Tub stopper didn’t work. WiFi was spotty. Overall the place was run down. Front desk was friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Clean room. Friendly staff. Convenient to restaurants and shopping.
- 2/5
But at least it’s only like $50 a night lol. Get what ya pay
- 5/5
Room was clean staff was nice
- 1/5
The room was dirty and smelled really bad.
- 3/5
It could use some updates for sure but as far as the women at the front desk they were very nice and helpful. Something happened to the power Sunday and it just blinked out less than a minute but half a the room the lights were very dim and no air or cable and it was super bowl Sunday I'm glad I didn't care to watch it anyway.
- 4/5
Room was clean! Parking was good too! They accommodated my request about being on the bottom floor because I have bad knees! The only thing was was the bathroom seemed small but over all the experience was great! The lady at the front desk was great also!
- 3/5
Staff was great. The room had a funny smell. I think they were trying to flip rooms quickly because of the ice storm and being sold out. I was greatful to get a room. The bathroom was rough.
- 5/5
Easy check in, good stay for the money, no complaints.
- 1/5
Power went out and they won’t return my money! Unacceptable- to keep money from every room that has to be evacuated due to no power!!!!!
- 5/5
Excellent service at check in.
- 5/5
Bed sheets
- 3/5
We needed to find a warm room in this icy storm, and we are glad we could get one at the hotel. The bad part was, that the hotel did not have salt on entry ways, and most important at the stairs bottom and top. Very very dangerous for guests, why if they knew that event of that level was about to happen. The rooms were not free, so at least have those stairs clear of snow and icy condition.
- 5/5
What the hotel lacks the staff makes up for. We stayed over a week while our power was out from the winter storm and the ladies at the front desk deserve a raise.
- 5/5
Staff
- 5/5
The room was as expected and the check in staff was very helpful
- 5/5
The room was clean, the staff was kind. Coffee bar in the lobby no breakfast but there is a cracker barrel next door plus all the other restaurants are near by.
- 3/5
Parking was easy. Heat in room very slow.

I had issues getting my door open. I scanned it many times, so I got a new one, and the same thing happened. The mechanism in the door needed to be recharged or something.
- 4/5
Close to food and shopping We had insects in the window sill . We were given bug spray but the bugs were dead…just hanging out?

Run down filthy To much partying until 4:30 am!
- 5/5
Staff was friendly, convenient parking
- 3/5
The paint in the bathroom looked dirty. Needed updates. I reserved a queen bed. Got 2 beds. Just overall was ok for a place to lay your head
- 5/5
Great location for food and concerts
- 2/5
I liked how close this was to Nashville. The restaurants around the hotel weren't bad either. The housekeeping team was nice. Our room (244) could've been better. Our door was very filthy and wouldn't close all the way even when latched. This cause our AC to just rush right out. Our room was so musty and humid it was almost unbearable. The shower pressure was not good either. On our last day, before our 11am checkout. We left to get breakfast at 8am. I guess the manager was already walking room to room checking if people were gone or not. He asked us twice on the way to our car if we were checking out after he had already opened our room with his master key. I told him we are getting breakfast and that we'd be checked out by 11. We then came back at around 9 and opened our shades in our room. He kept walking by and looking in quite frequently. We ended up just closing the shades back. By this time, I felt as if I was being rushed out. So we loaded up the car and checked out.
- 2/5
A small cockroach in the bathroom and a few bugs around the bed. One of the towels was disgusting. Overall the room was small and did not feel clean. Really poor experience
- 2.5/5
The rooms was supposed to be in a smoke free room, but our room smelled like cigarette smoked the whole time, even after spraying air freshener in there Neither one of us smoke
- 4/5
Location was good. Nothing
- 3/5
The bed was very comfortable. It was not a full size queen bed. The water spigot in the tub was dripping, so the pressure was not good. No freezer in the refrigerator.
- 2.5/5
location is good for those without a vehicle- restaurants everywhere could use a renovation, BUT got the job done
- 2/5
Definitely not a good value for your money. I would never recommend this hotel unless pay below $50 or $60.
- 1/5
Got a non smoking room but it smelled like someone just got done smoking
- 1/5
Nasty
- 2.5/5
It was nasty
- 5/5
Great Place to Stay Wonderful Staff And No Deposit For Booking
- 4/5
It was and smoking free hotel but the room still smelled like someone smoked a pack of cigarettes the night before, the staff promptly came to the room and spread deodorizer in the room and made it a lot better to stay in it.
- 5/5
Great Place to Stay and Great Staff

Great Stay And Great Staff
- 1/5
We had a reservation and they did not have a room for us. The hotel was run down, dirty, noisy, and I did not feel safe
- 5/5
Well lit, convenient location, very friendly staff.
- 5/5
Great Place
- 2/5
It wasn’t that great. Especially for the price. The front desk lady was about as welcoming as watching paint dry. The room was non-smoking and of course had a funky smoke/whatever smell. The bed was lumpy in the weirdest way. If you’re exhausted and there’s no where else stay here. If not.. keep driving. I didn’t see any bugs which was a plus. The floor was dirty and it was just basically a place to sleep for a few hours because we had no choice.
- 4/5
Was traveling with my service dog. No problems. Except another guest at hotel tried to get in to my room by mistake. Quickly handled by staff & my dog. He just was lost I think. Could of happened anywhere. Great staff. Area was good so it was not that.
- 3/5
Friendly staff
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
Everything one would expect at a good motel.
- 2/5
Stay was okay…. property seems a bit run down, old dirty fixtures, and the bed was super hard and the pillows were tiny and seemed dirty.
- 1/5
Room was disgusting, stains on walls, toilet, shower. Windows were grimy, smelling like a giant bottle of baby powder, ac unit didn’t cool room and was sticky, 2 lights didn’t work, sheets felt sticky like lotion had gotten on them or too much fabric softener was used. The place looks like stereotypical movie where druggies or prostitution would happen
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable beds.
- 4/5
The lady at the check-in desk was great ! The room was very clean with good amenities. Cracker Barrel Restaurant is very close not to mention many others, so food is very obtainable. I plan to return again soon when I am in the Nashville area again.
- 1/5
This hotel is terrible. May be the worst experience i have had since i started traveling years ago.
- 5/5
Just super nice people and clean rooms.
- 1/5
Went there because they had in room cribs advertised on their amenities since we were traveling with our 6 month old, they did not have any. The lady checking us in took forever to wait on us and made it seem like we were in the wrong for wanting to check in because she was too busy trying to eat her food that she had and us checking in was taking her away from eating which, she made clear in her tone and facial expressions she didn't appreciate. The room itself was dirty and looked like no one cleaned it at all prior to our stay.
- 5/5
Stayed for two weeks recently, and was very comfortable for the stay. Our initial room had a broken A/C, but the front desk was able to get us into a new room right away. They were very helpful with getting our dollar bills converted to quarters, and accommodated us whenever we needed something from housekeeping. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
- 3/5
Convenient and easy parking. Dated hotel, but served its purpose. Nice staff
- 5/5
Very clean, very quiet, very nice people.
- 5/5
Great place to stay.
- 4/5
convenient easy access...
- 4/5
.
- 3/5
It was overall a great experience. Almost everything was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The only problem we had was one of the ladies at the front desk wasn’t the nicest and she kept messing up our card for our room, but when we went up there for the third time it was another lady and she made sure that it was right and was really nice!
- 4/5
Everything was grea, just the bathroom is a little small and needs floor fixed.
- 3/5
Nothing special, kind of seedy area. Very noisy from interstate .
- 3/5
Staff was nice. Location was convenient being near freeway. Room was a tad small, no safe, fridge made noises all night which affected my sleep.
- 4/5
While it was clean, something in the air in the room was making my daughter and I itchy for a while after we got there. Other than that, we had a good stay. The lady working check-in during the late evening could use some training in customer service skills, though. She barely spoke to me during the process. She literally just looked at me, and I had to say I was checking in and give my name. Then all she said was "ID." She proceeded to check me in without really saying anything. She put the paper in front of me to fill out without giving any instructions or anything. Then she just handed me the key. I had to ask where the room was, and she barely explained it. I pretty much had to look at the map on the counter and figure it out myself. She never greeted me, said thank you, or anything like that.
- 4/5
A little old could use paint job
- 3/5
Nothing splashy or special, served it's purpose and was what I expected when paying a lower rate than other high-end hotels.
- 2/5
Staff was not friendly. Shower was lukewarm. Room smelled like mildew. Bed was stained.
- 5/5
Place was clean & quiet
- 5/5
Nice place to stay
- 3/5
The parking lot is very VERY well lit.
- 5/5
Very inexpensive decent stay with respectable staff. Very clean and in a good location. It’s not the best motel but it certainly was a good stay. I would stay here again.
- 4/5
Motel was ok but not very clean. I went barefoot for a couple minutes before i took a shower & i left black foot prints in the tub. I also wiped up some water my dog had spilled on the floor & it was black. The bed seemed clean & was comfortable, the room just needed a good scrubing. Heater worked fine, shower pressure was great. I like that red roof inn allows pets, weve stayed at many in our travels.
- 5/5
nice people clean room
- 5/5
Very enjoyable stay
- 2/5
Hotel is in poor shape. Needs alot of updates. Not alot of grass space for dogs that Doesn't have Poop in it.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 3/5
Just a basic hotel. OK for what we need.
- 5/5
I was very pleased with my room. Even though it was a little worn, it was clean. The bed was comfortable with clean linens. The heater functioned well. The front desk staff were friendly and personable. I would stay here again.
- 1/5
The smell of cigarette as we walked into our room, a broken fingernail on one of the beds, we would have left somewhere else if it wasn't already paid for. The lady at the front desk was a sweetheart, it's a shame this place is a dump.
- 4/5
The room was clean, you can notice the place is old but renovated. Beds are not big big. So for a tall person could be a little uncomfortable. Other than that, nice little motel.
- 4/5
Only spent one night, but the hotel was easy to find, front desk staff was friendly, and it’s located next to a lot of different restaurants and convenient to the interstate. Could definitely tell it’s an older motel, but for one night it wasn’t bad.
- 4/5
Quiet
- 1/5
I asked to clean my room bc I had it for two days my sink was dirty and tub as well, My sheets was not changed from the day before the just made the bed up with old sheets , I went out to get something to eat and a parking lot full of ppl at night prostitution and drug selling and like a block party I wouldn't recommend to anything
- 1/5
There was literal feces on the toilet seat. Urine dripping down the back of the toilet. I wasn’t expecting the ritz but at least clean the bath room. Dirty pillow cases. We stayed no more than 10 minutes and had to check out it was so gross. And here’s the kicker they still charged me for that day. Disgusting
- 5/5
Hotel was not in the best shape, but it had very good mattress premium sheets no bugs found anywhere. Bathroom tub was clean but pretty old. Staff were fantastic and helpful.
- 3/5
cigarette burns on bed spread
- 5/5
Great for the price for a couple of nights stay, bed was clean and comfortable, no working bath plug but apart from that everything was good, easy access to the freeway to get into Nashville
- 5/5
It was great from the quick & easy check in to the clean room & very sofo bed. Peaceful & quietness
- 5/5
Great easy experience
- 5/5
Exactly what I needed while in Tennessee for a wedding. Quiet, easy to get to, clean and a great price. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would gladly stay here again.
- 4/5
The room was very small. Which made the aweful smell of pet urine worse. We had to go get room spray for something to mask the Smell. There were no wash rags. The bed was comfortable. But the smells Just Took Your Breath away.
- 5/5
Staff were really nice and helpful, especially ladies at the front desk
- 4/5
Smelled a little moldy and the place needs some minor repairs, it was okay for the price.
- 2/5
Only one pot of coffee available in the lobby. Could have a little more to offer at the rates they are charging.
- 5/5
Barking dogs kept us up till after 2am
- 4/5
Ok
- 4/5
For the price there are no complaints
- 3/5
Room was relatively clean but in pretty poor state. Holes around the bottom of the door, lock partially broken, toilet wouldn’t flush properly. Staff was nice and helpful. Property was conveniently located.
- 5/5
Stayed for over a week during CMA Fest, and found it a pleasant stay. The rooms were mostly clean and maintained, and the front desk was helpful. We stayed with our cat and had no issues there.
- 4/5
It was clean and up to standard.
- 5/5
Room was clean and did not stink. Got a non-smoking room. The "complaint" i can think of is apparently there is only one ice machine and it can be a decent walk for some of the rooms at the back of the property.
- 3/5
The staff was super friendly and helpful, unfortunately the room was not clean and not in great shape (hair in the bathroom, stains on one of the sheets, loose cover plate in the shower, stains on the bathroom door).
- 4/5
Check-in process was smooth. Housekeeping on the other hand came knocking at our door even with the sign hanging on the doorknob to give us privacy. I was tired and wanted a few more moment to relax but she kept banging on the door. When we opened, she asked us if we were checking out. Would have been nice for her to ask the front desk rather than having us respond to the door.
- 5/5
Everything was fine. Microwave didn't work.
- 1/5
The first thing I did was mop the floor, it was filthy. Under the beds were dirty. I feel anything over $50 per night is way too much for the accommodations. And where was the breakfast?
- 2/5
The staff was nice, but the room was disgusting.
- 4/5
I stayed here for the night during a longer road trip. I was given a room on the back side of the rear building (closest to the highway). While the room was clean, and the beds were comfortable, outside noise was fairly easily heard in the room. I usually leave the TV on at a somewhat low level, and I could hear the road noise and trucks driving by on the highway all night. If I was accustomed to silence at night, this would have been quite disruptive to sleep. Fortunately, I can sleep through a lot, so it didn't bother me that much. We also had our small dog with us. I love that this hotel is actually pet friendly, i.e. no extra charge. The noise of people walking by kept startling our dog. For someone with a "barky" dog, this would probably be a problem. Again, fortunately, my dog is not so reactive. She barked once or twice or growled a little bit, but that's all.
- 1/5
The room is not clean and we ended up leaving for the safety of my family as we have 2 kids.
- 5/5
Quick clean rooms that are pet friendly and CLEAN!
- 5/5
Nice room
- 4/5
Staff is very friendly
- 1/5
The room was terrible shower leaked all over the entire shower room
- 1/5
Don’t stay here if you plan to be in downtown Nashville. Expensive Uber trips. Nothing nearby to really walk to. Room is subpar. Bathroom tight and small. Stay elsewhere.
- 5/5
The front desk staff checking in and out was very nice and fast.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
How quiet and clean it was
- 3/5
Noisy heating unit, loose floorboards
- 3/5
Our first room had a TV that was disconnected to cable, and it was unusable. That was inconvenient but ok. It also had an air conditioning/heating unit with the panel completely removed and on the floor. It was unusable and we need a cold room to sleep in, so then we asked to be relocated. They accommodated quickly and easily. The sheets and towels seemed clean enough, but the cloth shower curtain had some... Stains. It was also noisy, we could hear footsteps outside all night. It was an okay place for just laying your head but I probably wouldn't stay again.
- 5/5
Well Kept, Clean, Located conveniently to Interstate, felt perfectly Safe in Location
- 5/5
For the price, this is a good place to stay. It’s a little bit ran down, but still felt clean and beds were comfy. Decent furniture in rooms and clean beds. I’m overall satisfied with our stay.
- 5/5
Stayed for over a week during CMA Fest, and found it a pleasant stay. The rooms were clean and maintained, and the front desk was helpful. We stayed with our cat and had no issues there.
- 5/5
Great spot everytime I visit for a Titans Game!!
- 5/5
They were so polite @ check in. I travel with my service dog & on Oxygen. I was able to park right in front of my room & walk across the parking lot to the dog area for my dog. I had only intended on staying here for 2 days, but due too health issues it ended up being a 5 day stay. I chose to stay here due to keeping the same room & nobody bothered me & I felt safe. It was obvious that they do have ppl that live here. They were very friendly & nice when I was outside. Unlike some hotels where they look like homeless ppl living there & hanging out all over the place watching every move you make. Not a doubt in my mind would I not stay here again. Everyone deserves a high 5 for the work they do @ this Red Roof Inn!
- 2/5
It's exactly what you expected out of a 2star hotel. No reason whatsoever that it should be more than $100 for a room. If you're there for a night or two, you're better off spending the extra $20 and staying literally at any other hotel.
- 5/5
The location was convenient to get to downtown Nashville, the price was very reasonable. I liked that there were numerous choices for places to eat, especially the cracker Barrel right next door!
- 5/5
We have never stayed at a Red Roof Inn and it was chosen based on price, reviews and location. We will try Red roof in the future . Staff very friendly and helpful!!
- 5/5
Always a pleasure when Im in town for the games.
- 5/5
I have stayed here several times and its always been a great experience very friendly staff very clean and vary relaxing
- 1/5
The tub was dirty. There was actual dirt in the tub and on the floor. One towel had hair on it and another one had some black gunk on it. It was gross. It was nerve-racking staying there.
- 5/5
Easy check-in, good location, grest price
- 3/5
Was clean outside. Sheets were horrible.
