Older dated hotel. TV couldn't even accommodate my firestick. Nothing fancy on the outside but the owners do a good job of keeping it clean and taking care of your needs. Value hotel

Manager guy was extremely rude,I was so taken back.Im disabled,had trouble getting back in my room the very first time i went out...he continually gaslighted me each and every time we had communicated...I call the front desk,multiple times,nobody picked up to try and change my room at 3:00 a.m.till 5:30 a.m. nothing but trucks running and unloading products for 2-3 hours less than 100 yards from my door,also there driveway is used by traffic into a plaza full of stores and fast food establishments,it's a steady flow of vehicles passing through...that can't be legal right? This subjects the guests to unnecessary noise and if I could give the Manager a 0 ,I would for sure.He yelled at me multiple times for NO REASON AT ALL.

The staff are wonderful, the room is clean, the bed is comfortable - an excellent value, great location for work in Nashville, only a 20-minute drive to Broadway area. The water temperature took some time to warm up in the mornings, and when I took an afternoon shower it pretty much ended up being a cold shower. Still manageable, and I would still stay here again.

This was by far the cleanest room I have stayed in. I had low expectations but was surprised and very pleased. Wifi was great. It was quiet considering how close to long hollow rd. Plenty of restaurants close by. My non-smoking room was for sure non- smoking. The front door does not have a seal around it. Therefore insects can crawl through the gap. However they keep the place spotless which discourages those little creatures.

Close to office and close to restaurants and gas stations and close to the highway. Clean and basic needs available for us to use. The room is basic and ok. No free breakfast.

For as little as it costs, I thought this motel was quite nice. Quiet and comfortable, and located in Goodlettsville, away from the city.

My stay was awesome. The desk clerk at Somatel was very nice the whole time I stayed there. The rooms were clean and nice. I recommend Somatel hotel to anyone to stay there. 😁

First of all, the pictures that they have on the Hotels website are not actually of the hotel. I don't know where the pictures are from but they are not of the hotel. Second, the Hotel is in serious need of updating. Everything is old and in poor condition, such as stains and cigarette burns in everything. This establishment is well below the star level that they are claiming.

Overall avoid this place unless you are used to substandard accommodations and need a cheap price.

Basically you’re getting what you pay for, no towels, no working fans, dirty, and smells like a smoker.

We were put in a hotel room that smelt like nothing but cigarettes and arm pits. Our bed sheets were disgusting, and our comforter had smoke cigarette holes all over! Horrible!

it took 2 people like 20 minutes to get me checked in and I had a reservation...then I went without socks or shoes in the room that night and when happen to see my feet I couldnt believe how black and dirty they were...they must never mop them floors.

This was the creepiest, nastiest hotel I’ve ever attempted to stay in! There were vagrant’s wondering around the parking lot, the man at the window was incredibly rude at check in, and to top it off several officers were arresting people as we left! We walked into the nasty room which smelled rancid and contained a mini fridge covered in mold, and immediately began making calls to be refunded our money. We only stayed about an hour at this place. The pictures online are not of the actual hotel!! It is not 2 stories or even remotely clean. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

I have stayed in some interesting places thanks to the Military, after sleeping here I have a new record for worst place. I can remember a few ditches that were cleaner and smelled better.

There was no hot water! Cigar butts in the shower! The room smelt like cigarettes! There was mold all in the ceilings! I would not recommend to stay here.

Room was generally clean, gum stuck to the top of the headboard. What's the use in having non-smoking rooms if they all smell like a large ashtray? Pillows were yellow inside the pillow case, my wife made me go to Walmart at 5 in the morning to buy pillows and a bed in a bag. She refused to sleep in the bed because it smelled like a ashtray. they need to air the rooms out seriously. save yourself the heartache and stay somewhere else.

Other than being a little run down, it was a pretty good deal for the price. Location is convenient to everything in Goodlettsville.

What appeared to be dried blood on the phone.. even the next day after cleaned by staff. No remote for tv. Front window, bc no desk, had no extra remotes. Check in was standing outside and passing info thru ticket window. Should've know something was up from the beginning. Oh well.. live and learn.

First when I got thereafter driving 17 hrs to check in the man was rude, printer not working properly to print my reservation confirmation. He said it was not his problem, entered the room it was smelling , the bed itself was smelling, the pillows were smelling , I had to go to my car and brought my own towels to cover the stinch of the pillows, will not recommend it to anyone. I only spent 3 hrs there , the scent was unbearable

This hotel had to be by far the worst I've stayed in. I had to stand outside to check in at a check in window in the cold at 10:30 pm. The room was half way clean. Half used toilet tissue still on the roll,Towels and washcloths dingy,new carpet laid but not complete,bedspread had multiple cigarette burns, dead bugs behind the nightstand,the room smelled of smoke,old worn out refrigerator that didn't even work, tv needs upgraded! And to top it off two housekeepers and male and female were cleaning rooms at 7pm with grocery carts and smoking cigarettes while going in and out the rooms. The best thing about the stay was the price and the bed was soft. But you get what you paid for... Very run down.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke. Absolutely no hot water to take a shower. We had to go to a different room to use the shower. We didn't get any discount or even an apology. Will never stay again.

They have bugs, "the comforter" had cigarette holes, the mattress cover never been washed, the room smelled funny. It was a last resort since every other hotel was booked. I would only recommend if there is no other option.

Clerk was wearing a dirty t-shirt and was boarder line rude during checkin. 3 min after arriving at our room we found a urine stain in the bed. Immediately went to the front desk but had to wait in line (this was at 1am mind you) waited as a group of clean cut young adults wanted a refund for a roach in their bed. Manager refused! I booked through hotels.com and was told to contact them for a refund. I called on the spot. The hotels.com agent called the manager/owner/crook right in front of me. The manager refused the refund. I didn't stay and argue. These guys didn't bat an eyelash at stealing people's money. They can keep their urine stained roach infested motel. Ugh I should have read the reviews!

You get what you pay for, a cheap, not very nice, old hotel.

If you are looking for a hotel, where the carpet is filthy, the sheets are stained with cigarette burns, every lamp shade was filthy, the fridge was disgusting, and there was no heat (because when we turned it on it smelled like it was going to catch fire). This is the hotel for you! The staff was very nice, and willing to help out with anything we needed, but the room was so disgusting we could not even stay there!

When we arrived in the night, there was nobody at the reception. We ringed, we phoned theme, no reaction!!! We had to find another motel in the night (for a higher price, of course). Next morning we went there and the man told us, that he went to sleep at midnight and didn't hear the bell!

Condom wrapper left in my room from last guest. Unacceptable.

I first arrive at and they can't check me in until 8:00a because of a computer issue. Then, I get to my room and the refrigerator racks were missing. Upon cleaning out my room for checkout, I found an empty condom box and receipt from the previous occupant. The manager could or not do anything more to resolve this but offer to change my room (which, too late, I'm already checking out). But the attitude received made it seem like he was blamming me for not inspecting my room and bringing the matter to him earlier (so sorry I can't find time between the 12 hour shifts I work to inspect my room for condom wrappers). Avoid like swine flu!

Don't stay there for your trip.

We didn't stay at this hotel after seeing it!!!! The room was an outside room and the door did not lock! The mattresses were stained and it had a 70's decor. This is not a safe place to stay!

Then when he got off the phone, he told us that he would get our rooms available. We asked to see the king room and he refused. We asked again and he told us to leave the premises and we would get no rooms at all. We left the lobby and called hotels.com, hotels.com stated that we would not get our prepaid hotel costs back. We called the police, and after a long discussion, the police asked us to leave as the innkeeper asked us to leave. A third call to hotels.com and after another call back to the innkeeper, we got our money back. Three calls to hotels.com and 90 minutes later we were on our way to another hotel. This time a good clean one. I would recommend any hotel other than M-Star

I had to ring the service bill for over 10 mins before someone answered. Then once the lady noticed me at the window. She did not apolize for me haveing to wait, Then she called another person to come help me. She did this without even telling me she was leaving.

ended up with 30+ bites on my neck and arms, the bed and linens looked clean and never saw anything crawling. The bedspread was covered with burns even though it was a non-smoking room.

Not a family friendly place. If you have the money, go elsewhere.
