The property was closed! We weren’t notified. I made reservations for 10/31 - 11/2 on 09/7/25. The property closed 10/15/25. What property?!
- 2/5
Upon entry, the lady at the desk was incredibly rude and acted like I was interrupting her. I had just walked in and said, I’m here to check in. I know I should lower my expectations because it’s a made over Motel 6. It’s now a Studio 6 which makes sense- I guess they have a lot of long term residents that aren’t accustomed to a certain level of hospitality. The only saving grace was the water pressure- it washed off the layers of dirt from hiking Arches and when I turned around, I about lost a nipple the pressure was so strong. So just be careful facing the shower head!

Very dirty hair all over the floor shower curtain wouldn't stay up..... Stained towels heater didn't work
- 2.5/5
ok for an enroute stop
- 1.5/5
The no smoking rooms smell they they’ve been smoked in for years and never cleaned before being called non-smoking.
- 1/5
There were at least 3 flies flying around in the room when I arrived. Large gap between door and doorframe allowed road noise to come in unabated. Shower control very hard to adjust.

My room has everything! Refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker! Comfy bed and plenty of space! I will stay here again when visiting Grand Junction! Close to a few restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores! Friendly staff!
- 0.5/5
Absolutely nothing It was dirty, staff was rude, no smoke detector in our room, very dirty place. we ended up having to rent another room from another hotel.
- 5/5
Laundry was clean and safe
- 4.5/5
Price was excellent. amenities were great for the price!
- 3/5
Reception was very professional and courteous, but the area did not seem safe. A lot of shady characters were loitering around. Inside the room was ok, except the bathtub was not draining well at all. Would not stay here again.
- 4/5
Traffic noise on street side. No elevator for second floor. No shampoo or conditioner provided in the room.
- 2.5/5
The floor was filthy and I couldn't turn the water on in the tub, so I couldn't take a shower.
- 4.5/5
I can hear foot stomps from outside the room when someone walks by the room.
- 4/5
Yes yes yes
- 1/5
I don't think anything in that hotel has ever been wiped down with cleaner. Guests should know that low income people live at this hotel which makes it much more gross. Our room didn't look like the photos. There were alarms or screaming all night long.
- 2/5
The claim of remodeled rooms must have applied elsewhere on the property except for the sink fixture. Full size fridge was in fact nice. There were curtains on the window. Turned off the air because the unit was very dirty. As was the floor. Lights at the bedside didn't work.
- 3.5/5
Good
- 3.5/5
The TV remote didn't work after checking batteries and settings, we were unable to change channels or to even get into a channel selection.
- 1/5
Seemed okay at first before the roaches came out. The room was infested with German roaches. The head of the staff tried to blame their presence on the weather.
- 3.5/5
The hotel was close to the interstate and the Grand Junction Colorado Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The room was compact but had everything you needed.
- 2/5
Very noisy due to people living here with their children and dogs, this property offers extended stay. Sheets were stained, bath tub was stained or dirty.

At about 3:00 am the neighbors above came home, and spent about an hour moving around, before (I assume) going to bed. Then at 8:00 am they got up an moved around again -- a lot!! The motel must seriously address noise-proofing the walls (ceilings) between rooms. Or don't rent to rooms upstairs.
- 5/5
Adequate for short stay.
- 4/5
The rooms seem recently upgraded, which a great plus. It just need an upgrade to the outside to complement the rooma
- 3/5
Inside the rooms were decent considering the outside of the property looked so, run down. If it is a last minute in a Bind, very good choice. The staff was very nice.
- 3/5
The room was recently remodeled and was clean and comfortable. The property itself is a bit run down and the potholes in the parking lot are bad. But for the price we would stay here again.
- 5/5
They were very accommodating when we were extremely delayed checking into our room.
- 4/5
Basic clean room with everything you need. Reasonable price, easy check in.
- 5/5
Nice clean rooms
- 3/5
The outside of the property was not well kept and the walls were paper thin. I could here everything from next door and the room above me.
- 4/5
Our room was clean except for the floors. They hadn't been swept and were gritty with sand. Hard to go barefoot.
- 4/5
Room was clean and comfortable and the staff was awesome!
- 5/5
Nice refurbished room with newer furniture and appliances. Parking lot had some sketchy characters hanging around that didn't make me feel safe. Lots of construction made it difficult to get in and out of parking lot.
- 2/5
The property is pretty run down. The rooms themselves are ok, but outside is pretty run down. Soap and shampoo were sad, shampoo was a little packets. Pretty sure the motel is used to house homeless and people with mental health issues. Wouldn't stay there again.
- 2/5
Bathroom was dirty. Door was nasty. Ceiling had mold.
- 4/5
The hotel rooms are mostly rented to long term tenants with a few rooms for regular guests. It was a weird vibe. Our room was clean, but run down, and turning on the shower would be impossible for anyone with a shoulder condition as it required pulling *really hard* with both hands on the shower handle. Good times!
- 2/5
Room smelled strongly of smoke, despite being “no smoking”. A/C unit was incredibly noisy all through the night. Bedding felt worn and scratchy

Property is in poor condition needs updating. The Faucet in the tub and shower barely works. Seems like it’s rusted.
- 4/5
These rooms are nice and clean
- 5/5
Room was clean and quiet, seems like a fairly quiet area, parking lot has a lot of potholes but also there are lots of spots available
- 5/5
good tv and internet along with a refrigerator
- 5/5
I've never seen a fan of motel 6 but this place was excellent. Great tv, clean, quiet, great refrigerator
- 3/5
Barley counts as a kitchen. Not nearly up to appearance on web site. Parking lot full of potholes. Room smelled like smoke.
- 4/5
The room was really nice still waiting for my deposit area had really good restaurants
- 2/5
The room looked recently renovated, and we liked the big fridge. However, it smelled like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room, and there were some gross looking bloody mucus streaks on the wall.
- 4/5
The tub would not fill with water which someone should have been aware of
- 3/5
The room was clean and had fairly new bedspreads. The refrigerator was a nice size, but was missing the control button. It worked fine. Kitchenette was small but had a coffee maker, a coffee pot and a microwave, as well as a sink. The shower was refreshing and plenty of hot water was available. The towels were fluffy. The staff were pleasant and efficient. The pool was clean, but small; no hot tub (outdoors). Building needs spruced up especially outside.
- 4/5
We had a decent stay at Studio 6. It was pretty clean. It has been updated with fresh paint and furniture. It could use a new door in the room we were in, it was warped. We were on the side that faces the road so it was a bit noisy. They do not offer free breakfast. Overall, for the price, I would stay again.

Room smelled, a/c was loud, people wondering around at all hours

Purposely booked this hotel as it had a pool. Pool shut and message from hotel was nothing we can do about it. This might not seam like a show stopper. After 8 hours on the bikes it was important. Emptied room and booked elsewhere. Last studio 6 I’m booking in the states
- 2/5
Old building and reflects it. Retrofitted for “extended stay” but I wouldn’t want to stay here longer than the two nights I did. Needs a massive overhaul and that means more than slapping “extended stay” in the name. Would not recommend or stay here again.
- 3/5
Our only complaint was that the shower did not drain well
- 5/5
Super clean. Beds comfortable. Employees nice. Renovated room. Super clean
- 3/5
Advertised the studio six but it’s really a motel 6
- 3/5
Staying on the first floor, I could hear the person above me walking back and forth all night long. Super loud staff outside in the morning. Room was clean enough.
- 3/5
Main advantage was proximity to a Starbucks. Cost of car charging (adjacent) was high. Couldn’t get ironing board to close.
- 4/5
I liked the room and amenities. Too bad the room I had was on a busy street.
- 5/5
The cleanliness
- 1/5
The whole place felt unsafe. The parking lot had obvious drug deals, prostitutes, and people hanging around all night. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving anything in my car because it felt like I was being watched as soon as I checked in. To top it off, there’s a hidden $150 deposit that isn’t mentioned anywhere online. Overall, dirty, sketchy, and uncomfortable. Definitely not worth the money. Would’ve spent the extra $20 for a nicer hotel to be literally anywhere else.
- 2/5
It’s a 2 star motel.
- 5/5
I really liked the easy check in and that the deposit was cheaper than what the website said! Also, very quiet around the property. I slept like a baby.
- 5/5
The front desk agent/clerk was friendly and greeted me. The front desk agent/clerk directed me to where my room was located. The check in process was quick which was nice since I was tired and hungry and was ready to rest.
- 5/5
Fast check in
- 3/5
Listing says breakfast included but that is false. It's an extended stay without comfortable lobby or hallways; your room opens to the parking lot. Many cars in the lot with broken windows, no glass around so it probably didn't happen there but still a little unnerving. We could hear the room above us stomping around very loudly.
- 4/5
I read the reviews prior to booking and disagree with most. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot with excellent water pressure. We enjoyed the pool during our three day stay. The property is dated but I could tell they were working on improving cleanliness. The staff that I interacted with were all courteous and friendly (except for the office staff at check-in). I would definitely book this property again.
- 4/5
Beautiful on the inside. Lots of dogs and tight parking.
- 5/5
Was very clean and newly renovated.
- 5/5
The rooms were very good, with kitchenette, laminate flooring, clean and available for longer stays
- 2/5
Frustrating that when we looked, Studio 6 was about $100 and the next most expensive was $300. But that may have been because of the peach festival. The floor was gross, with visible crud in corners and edges. Everything felt a little sticky. Blobs of very visible toothpaste spit on the faucet. Only one hook to hang up towels. Sheets looked clean, but I looked for signs of bed bugs and saw dried drink (hopefully) under the corner of the mattress. I didn't want to look more. We played the "hot lava" game to never touch the floor, or anything really. No frills place, but when it is visibly dirty in almost all areas, you can't be comfortable putting anything down. Internet didn't work.
- 2/5
Loud and incredibly smelly. I didn't ask for smoking room and was placed in one. The hotel was filled to the brim. The doors didn't seal to the outside so all the sounds flooded in from others staying there. The a/c was cold but noisy. The bed was ok, the pillows were super cheap. I would never go back.
- 1/5
The room was really dirty. The floors had dog hair and mud on them. Lots of “permanent” residence staying. The room also smelled really bad. Would not recommend booking here.
- 2/5
A tired and aging hotel, not kept up to average expectation.
- 4/5
It was ok for the price.
- 4/5
All amenities provided were just what I expected in a good way. The only “problem” in the room was the faucet, but once I found the right angle it was fine. Pool was refreshing. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Location

The first room we were put in had a deadbolt that did not work, the lock just spun around in a circle without engaging. I called the night desk clerk to let her know about it and ask for a different room, I had to push for a different room and she was very grudgingly accommodating. When I showed her the video I took, she denied knowing the lock didn’t work but did not appear to be surprised, concerned or even apologetic. She gave us a new room, and that room was not well cleaned. There were two clumps of hair in the bathroom, a clump of long black hair on the floor, and light hair on the bathroom countertop, and dried spilled liquid on the bedside table. I am extremely disappointed with this room and can’t wait to leave in the morning. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this motel.
- 1/5
What the photos don’t show is that this property appears to double as an extended-stay facility for residents who smoke cigarettes and marijuana right outside your door. Several residents also have dogs that bark, which made it hard to relax. The pool area was littered with trash and float toys — not exactly inviting. The real shock came after taking a shower: when I stepped out and dried my feet, the towel picked up a disturbing brown residue from the floor. I immediately put my shoes back on and didn’t take them off again. The water from the faucet smelled strongly of chlorine, and there was constant traffic and noise from residents or their visitors, which carried straight into my room. I honestly don’t understand how this location rates a 7.4 out of 10. This was not the clean, comfortable stay I expected, and I did not feel safe here as a solo woman traveler. I

Picked this hotel at the last minute. It was less than expected. This hotel looks like every bad guys hotel on COPS! The room lighting looked and acted like pool lights! The door wouldn’t open with the key. After maintenance got the door open, it wouldn’t close, because the bottom seal of the door “fell off”, per maintenance! Not staying there again!
- 5/5
good service
- 1/5
Not a place for a family or kids.
- 1/5
The staff was rude and unhelpful. When we got a room the room was extremely dirty, the floor was sticky and it was separating apart in spots. The door wouldn’t latch shut and you could see daylight all the was around door. The room was extremely small for rooms that same price at other hotels. The bedding had burn holes in it and was supposed to be a non smoking room. We decided not to stay at hotel after the staff was rude and the room was in terrible shape. Talking which the manager she seemed annoyed at our complaints and was not willing to help us with a new room or offer a refund. She told us we could check out and move on. This was a terrible experience and I wouldn’t recommend even a homeless person to stay here.
- 3/5
Kitchen clothes were folded but looked dirty. We stayed 2 nights and thought they would at least make the bed and take the trash out after the first night...but that did not happen. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. I understand it is summer and hot, but when we got there our room was freezing cold, with the a/c set at 60F. We had to turn in off for a while so that the room was not super cold.
- 1/5
horrible
- 1/5
Unbelievably nasty, food and drinks left in fridge. No soap, dirty towels. Staff was extremely unprofessional and rude. They acted inconvenienced by our check in. Drug zombies roaming around at all hours of the night. I wouldn’t stay at studio 6 again if I was paid too.
- 4/5
Staff were great, outside could use clean up.
- 4/5
This is definitely not a high end hotel, just a decent place to catch some sleep, a shower, and maybe watch a little TV before bed. The room was small, but clean enough. The king bed took up almost all the room in the room, so keep that in mind. There are also a couple restaurants and a bar in the nearby area, which is nice. If youre just looking for a place to get some sleep and a shower, this is fine.
- 4/5
Good for the price

Geeat service and location
- 3/5
Hotel was in good shape. Room floor had not been cleaned. Dog hair all over the floor and dirty too. Had a used towel still hanging on the back of the bathroom floor. Used my shower towel and bath mat to try and clean the floor. Also dog hair on end of one bed
- 4/5
For the current hotel rates this place was clean and comfortable
- 5/5
very quick check in, great bed!!!
- 3/5
Motel was ok room was kind of dirty needed a better sweap and walls in need of a wash down dude to room being a smoking room you could see the smoke on walls

- 1/5
It is a creepy property in a creepy area.
- 5/5
Nicest place for the price even just nicest all around place I've stayed in over a week on the road very cool
- 5/5
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I was very much expecting a Motel 6 experience ( bare bones). This was not at all what this hotel was. The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful despite our late check in time. The room was newly renovated and had a full fridge, mini dining area, and plentiful storage. The room is a bit tiny but spotlessly clean and thoughtfully organized. The bed was very comfortable. What more could you ask for? Plus the price was super reasonable. I would stay here again without hesitation if I find myself traveling through Grand Junction in the future.
- 1/5
Not clean and run down- could not operate the shower
- 5/5
The staff at the front desk are always the best and super helpful :)
- 5/5
Easy stop for the night. Quiet stay, pet friendly. Reasonable pet fee with a deposit. Updated rooms with fridge.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay in Grand Junction - convenient & clean. Small room, but just fine for me
- 3/5
This is a motel 6 with a face lift. The room is updated and clean. The bathroom is not and the shower was not great. The mattresses were new and the bedding was clean minus a stain on the top blanket. We stayed near the stairs and it was so noisy all night. Staff was okay. Someone asked us for money outside the office doors. Not great people wandering outside but it is near gas food amd the interstate.
- 4/5
Bed was ok. And worked well for one night stay. Some good food options just down the street and easy on easy off access from interstate 80
- 1/5
Way better room and experience
- 5/5
The room was quite nice. The parking lot and exterior could use a little work but for the price it's fine.
- 4/5
Close to the highway was convenient, but we could hear the traffic noise from the highway. We were glad the air conditioning unit fan could stay on continuously. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable!
