Reviews
The hotel receives mixed reviews with guests appreciating the convenient location and friendly staff, but expressing dissatisfaction with the run-down condition, cleanliness, and smell of the rooms. The breakfast provided is also a point of contention, with some guests finding it satisfactory while others deem it inadequate.

The hotel is very rundown. It is obvious that maintenance has not been done in a long while.
- 3/5
Outdoor pool was nice. Hotel badly needs updating, ripped up, thread bare, dirty carpet in the halls and stairs, dirty windows. The toilet in our room needed repair, which they promptly fixed. The battery died on the door so we got locked out of the room, which they also promptly fixed. Just an old place that needs fixing up but staff was helpful.
- 3/5
The air conditioner worked and was VERY LOUD ,
- 2/5
The AC didn't work and hallway spelled like a pot party was going on.
- 2/5
Nothing
- 3/5
The hotel was Ok. The A/C is a unit in the wall next to the window. It was 100 degrees outside and the room was mostly cool at night, but during the day was still warm. The bathroom had loose/broken tiles. It is certainly an older hotel.
- 5/5
Great staff
- 4/5
My military discount was not honored. No good TV programming unless you are Mormon and MAGA. Rooms were clean. That's that......
- 2/5
It wasn't the Ritz but it wasn't the pits. We will not stay again.
- 5/5
Very quiet very helpful and friendly staff Toilet paper roll was hard to reach from toilet
- 5/5
Helpful and friedly staff. Clean place
- 5/5
It was great
- 3/5
The customer service was awesome!!! The AC unit in the room was a bit beat up and didn't work great.
- 3/5
I did not eat breakfast. The check in was very easy. I was in the 2nd floor, as I got past the elevator the hallway smelled terrible . The room was hastily put together. The only plug accessible for charging was at the bathroom sink area. The hair dryer did not work. The light on one of the sides of the bed was not even plugged in.
- 4/5
Pool was ok. Hallways had a weird smell. Breakfast was very minimal.
- 3/5
Ac didn’t work on 95 degrees day had to ask for another room which was a lot cleaner and updated.
- 4.5/5
This was a last-minute stay with a late check-in, and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. The young gentleman at the front desk was incredibly kind, welcoming, and personable. What stood out to me was that he genuinely seemed interested in talking with us. We chatted about what we had been doing that day and what we do for work, and it was just nice to have a real conversation with someone who was so friendly and engaging. I'll be honest—I wasn't quite sure what to expect since I don't stay in Grand Junction very often, and I've had mixed experiences at other Motel 8 locations. However, this property pleasantly surprised me. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Everything was exactly what we needed for a one-night stay. I was also very grateful that they allowed me a late checkout. Living in Glenwood Springs, that extra time made a huge difference and was greatly appreciated. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so easy and comfortable. The customer service was excellent, and the property was clean and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area. Overall, I had a great stay, but there were a couple of things that could be improved. The biggest disappointment for me was the breakfast. There weren't many options available, and compared to other hotels I've stayed at, it felt pretty limited. I also noticed a few individuals lingering outside the property who made me feel a little uncomfortable. While nothing happened, it was something I noticed during my stay. Other than those two things, I really enjoyed my experience. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was wonderful, and the customer service more than made up for the minor concerns.
- 3/5
Room was clean and had the necessities.
- 4/5
We received personal attention when we needed help, which was greatly appreciated.

You can tell they’ve done a lot of work on it. It looks like it’s been freshly painted since last year when we were there, they are awesome people very friendly very respectful love their breakfast layout, they have quite a few options of things to eat, if you have a problem like they don’t hesitate to go fix that problem which is really good. I’m sure we’ll stay there again.
- 5/5
I enjoyed myself and would recommend it to others
- 1/5
Room had black dust coming out of the in wall air conditioner and door had a 2 inch gap at the bottom and the lock didn’t work.
- 4/5
Comfortable room, could use some maintenance.
- 2/5
Air conditioning could only maintain a low 78 degree temperature. We were moved to second room which was cooler. In this room: Tub had a visible patch that was unsightly. Bath sink drained slowly. Toilet fill valve needed replacement. Light fixture was broken and hanging from wall.
- 5/5
Just a little disappointed in the cleaning of the bathroom, from our 3 day stay, a block of soap stayed stuck to the side from day one regardless of them coming in to clean.
- 2/5
All in all I had a room a bed. There was no hot water in shower and the tv was hard to navigate channels
- 4/5
Air conditioning was not working properly. That’s the only issue I had.everything else seemed to be ok.
- 4/5
it was fine. centrally located. busy weekend. staff was nice.
- 4/5
Great room!
- 3/5
It was good to stay overnight
- 5/5
We did not stay for breakfast, but it looked OK, The rooms could use some updating, but everything worked. The A/C unit was loud but cooled just fine. We had hot water and a quiet night.
- 2.5/5
Nothing to think of Bed was not comfortable , left side of bed as facing the TV, has a deep on the edge of bed feels like spring is broke or bent . There was no hair conditioner bottle was empty. Soda machine was not working proper.

Thank you so much for the hospitality. It was a nice day and the air conditioning and heating worked. The staff was very professional and helped with anything I needed.
- 4/5
The bed was a little firm for our preference, but the pillows were nice and soft. Plenty of hot water with good water pressure. Breakfast was small but we did appreciate that they did offer Breakfast. It was also very nice to have a refrigerator and microwave in our room. Great price. Perfect for a 1 night stop during our travels.
- 1/5
People partying in the halls; being loud all night. I got absolutely no rest on my stay during my roadtrip
- 0.5/5
absolutely nothing!! Everything, this place should be demolished! It is the most filthy place I have ever stayed in.

- 3/5
Few doors down had an awful smell. We Stay here due to its low price And cleanliness however it is Obviously in major need of updating which some would say makes it not worth staying at. Entrance is clean but carpet is beyond old and begging to be replaced.
- 4/5
Very good
- 3/5
This was the most we have paid for lodging on the road but it was the most dated/run down hotel that we have stayed in. (Our fault for not booking ahead while driving home from a graduation on Memorial Day weekend) A lot of places were fully booked and this is all we could find under $200. We’ve stayed in much nicer hotels that were in the $120-$130 range. Breakfast was skimpy so we ate elsewhere.
- 5/5
Nice and clean rooms with friendly staff!
- 3/5
Good coffee and breakfast. AC was loud and kept us up
- 4.5/5
That it was clean Nothing it was perfect
- 4.5/5
That it was clean Nothing it was perfect
- 4/5
The rooms are very clean, and the bed was just perfect even though it was only a full. Netflix, Prime are free. The one weakness of my room is the terrible tub. Just the worst for taking baths. And I found that there was plenty of hot water when taking a shower, but taking a bath was barely warm water, even after running the faucet for a while. I am not a plumber, I've no idea. Weird The summary, for a reasonable rate this hotel is quite good because the staff are so good. A three star hotel which is four stars because of the staff
- 5/5
The guy at the front desk was so nice and allowed us to leave our car there for 3 nights. Comfy bed, nice shower. Would recommend this hotel!
- 2/5
It will do in a bind. There are better options at the same price point in the area.
- 1/5
If you don't care, it's fine for one night.
- 5/5
The staff was cool and the room was perfect.
- 3/5
Meets criteria for inexpensive lodging

Pleasant staff, clean room, comfy bed. Would stay there again.
- 5/5
Breakfast is great, continental breakfast.
- 4/5
Convenient
- 3.5/5
Breakfast was ok. Repetitive for a week. Mattress cover bunched up every time I turned over. Curtains did block ou bright lites but we're hung poorly.

- 3/5
The weakness of this Hotel is hot water on the third floor difficult to get. Also the tub is perhaps the worst design EVER! It is a plastic, fiberglass construct. The true issue is you can not imagine how terrible the tub's design is. The down sloping bezel on the left side is slick, and *thin*, so no way to put your palm on it with out slipping off. And above that is a lip that you bang your elbow on, blocking getting out of the tub! Maybe they do not want you taking a hot bath? Luke warm water, and logic suggests this is likely. If you like baths, this Hotel is not for you
- 2/5
Room smelled awful - like cigarette smoke.
- 2/5
Breakfast was not great, but wasn't advertised as being a large meal. Room was dirty and public areas especially were pretty gross. Our standards are not super high.
- 5/5
Nice Breakfast items
- 3/5
Staff was very nice
- 3/5
The property was in disrepair. The staff very helpful and the pricing was extremely competitive. It reminded me of a property that could be a great destination with a serious rehab plan. New carpeting would would be a great first step.
- 1/5
The hotel is very tired and a habberdash of fixes in the rooms. Extremely loud AC unit that struggled to cool the room. Breakfast was merely a wafflemaker.
- 2/5
No
- 5/5
Clean rooms
- 5/5
Happy stay here
- 3/5
didn't like anything
- 3/5
Pool was closed. Carpets need replaced. Staff stood outside my room the morning I was to check out and kept talking loudly in a foreign language for over 1/2 hour. Breakfast was limited and basically make yourself a waffle.
- 5/5
Stopped here for a night after detouring Denver snowstorms and was pleasantly surprised! Good value, clean spacious rooms, and friendly and helpful front desk staff. I appreciated the flexible late check in as well.
- 3/5
Carpet in room was ripped and torn. Liquid soap dispenser in shower was missing. Breakfast selection was poor.
- 4/5
Our room was nice and clean. The staff was gracious. Our only issue was with a group of noisy children who ran the halls, and people slamming their doors from early morning hours
- 3/5
Breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful
- 4/5
Staff is great. Both helpful and friendly.
- 4/5
It was pleasant
- 5/5
Breakfast good, staff good, ac good,
- 3/5
The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The carpet in the hallway needs replaced, The toilet had plastic holding the toilet valve so it would run until you moved the handle. This hotel needs some renovation. Not worth the money
- 3/5
Mediocre at best. An old, rundown motel. Room was OK-clean but it smelled very wet/musty. The comfort level of the bed was absolutely terrible.
- 1/5
The front lobby and breakfast area were pretty nice and renovated, but as soon as we turned the corner to head down the hallway to the rooms it was a whole different story. It was so dirty and it smelled like cigarette smoke and marijuana. We had two rooms at the end if the hall. The smell in the one room was absolutely foul. I can’t even place the smell, but it was so bad we couldn’t stay inside. In the second room the hallway door wouldn’t close or lock properly (and with the vibe of this motel, you definitely want a door that locks properly). We asked them for two new rooms. They moved us to the second floor. The hallways and rooms weren’t any cleaner, but at least the stench didn’t make our eyes water. It really was just disgusting.
- 5/5
Nice clean safe hotel.
- 4/5
It was fine for a value hotel, but definitely rather well worn.
- 3/5
Air conditioner was noisy, kicked in and out all night keeping us awake. Road noice was also bad. Place appeared to be clean but is in need of updating.
- 4/5
The hotel itself seems a little outdated; for example, half of our outlets didn't work, and the bedspreads looked like something you'd find in an older style. But overall, the staff was amazing. You can tell everyone is working to make the place better, especially since the last few years of going here. Although beware, there are signs stating that the inventory of all towels, washcloths, etc., is checked daily. If you're missing one, you get charged, and let's say one was a cloth, which I think was 20.00 or 25.00 each. Everything has a different price; if it doesn't, it's your room at check-out!
- 3/5
Room was fairly clean. Comfortable bed. Hall carpet in poor repair. I told the front staff that the hair dryer did not work and smelled hot when turned on. I suggested that it be replaced. When returned to the room it had been cleaned but the dryer had not been replaced. Breakfast was basic. Remote controlled air conditioning that worked well but fairly noisy.
- 3/5
The rooms are spacious but the walls are so thin you can hear people in the room next to you. Also the sheets were not the best.
- 4/5
Location was a bit noisy but certainly convenient to everything I wanted
- 3/5
Good place for a quick overnight with a great price. Clean and convenient.
- 2/5
The staff was friendly and the breakfast was well done. You are right across the street from a gas station and food. The shower has nice hot water.
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
Exactly what I needed
- 5/5
Air conditioner broke the first day, i went to a different room where it worked, Breakfast was alright
- 5/5
No complaints!
- 2/5
The first room we were given had a water leak from the toilet, so we asked for another. Once we were in and looked more closely, we saw mold around a bottom edge of the tub surrounding. Carpets were not clean, with obviously no vacuuming near the edges
- 4/5
I stayed in winter time so the pool was not open but it is an older hotel. So nothing is updated
- 4/5
This isn’t the most updated hotel however, the room was clean, staff was friendly snd the bed was comfortable.
- 4/5
Convenient laundry
- 3/5
Pool close. Laundry good. Staff very nice. Clean are okay fair for the price.
- 5/5
The room were clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Great staff, specially John
- 5/5
John was great
- 5/5
Muy bueno limpieza comodidad y me atendieron muy bie
- 1/5
Places smelled bad, doors didn't seal well, I wouldn't even shower in the bathroom.
- 5/5
Only a 1 night stay. All i needed. Thx
- 1/5
This place is a dump and should be torn down. Staff pleasant.
- 2/5
No
- 5/5
Very comfortable
- 2/5
New staff member rude room was not as good as usual
- 5/5
I checked in late in the evening and was immediately greeted as I walked in the door. The gentleman who checked me in was quick and efficient at explaining to me the best place to park for ease of unloading and peace of mind. Both The building and the room itself were calm and quiet and I got a good nights sleep. I will stay over again on my way back home in a few weeks
- 5/5
Clean room, quite, great coffee, front desk staff was very nice and helpful
- 5/5
Staff is friendly helpful very welcoming love staying here
- 4/5
Good room
- 2/5
This place is lipstick on a pig! Old, rundown and covered in a cheap veneer. Absolutely not worth the price of admission. Everything is illuminated with bright white fluorescent lighting which only further reveals the age and neglect.
- 2/5
The breakfast was poor, the AC/Heat system is so loud and disturbing to the point of interruption of your sleep, the darkening curtains don’t really block the lights, they are old and gaps lets the outside light in. No place to plug your phone or tablets.
- 5/5
Front desk staff very good again
- 5/5
Front desk person was awesome
- 5/5
Clean room
- 2/5
Gross nasty place, needs updates, staff that care about quality and cleanliness, and just a complete overhaul.
- 1/5
No breakfast, toilet was clogged, and they gave me plunger to fix it. Some bugs bite us, I believe bed bugs, but I don’t have proof. Only I can upload picture of my wife neck.
- 1/5
The first room was moldy, the second had a foul smell and the sheets were not fresh.
- 2/5
The heater in 157 was so noisy I didn't get any sleep. Every time it came on it sounded like a jet was taking off
- 1/5
For some reason I was put on the DNR list and I have not a clue why. I kept the room Clean and I was very quiet even though the people next to me fought and screamed all night long and I didn't get in volved with it. And the first room I had was not cleaned and had blood all over the bathroom and the 2 room had what looked like vomit on the floor by the TV stand. I was still respectful to everyone.. I honestly have no idea why I was put on that list and when I asked no one could tell me why..
- 5/5
The room was clean and fully-functional. Housekeeping was attentive and efficient. The front desk was always professional and helpful. Overall, a pleasant stay.
- 1/5
There is NO WAY at all that I would pay an "early check in fee" that was BULL. If I could have cancelled without charge, I would have.
- 4/5
Cheapest hotel that was acceptable for someone who is allergic to " certain bugs" , it was a easy late check in and early check out. The room was cleanish a few broken items (lamp shade, the tile that connects the carpet) but good enough after a 4 hour drive needing to pee and just wanting to sleep.
- 2/5
The room was totally neglected
- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
Yes it all was comfortable and staff turned out to be great and didnt become a bother at any time within the 4 days i stayed. Would stay again for sure.
- 1/5
Because wouldnt take a partial cash pymt alo g with card to civer deposit
- 4/5
The room was fine. The front desk clerk was not helpful and could care less about being there.
- 5/5
Yes and yes
- 4/5
Everything was fine, I would stay there again.
- 1/5
The staff like to give you dirty looks and not listen to anything we ask for either
- 5/5
Check-in was quick and efficient. The housekeeping staff were attentive and efficient, as well. The location is close to many eateries and is centrally located. Overall, my stay was pleasant.
- 2/5
Poor hotel
- 3/5
dated ,grubby, animals barking
- 4/5
The carpet in the hallway is obviously dated; looks shabby. The rooms are nice and comfortable. You get what you pay for; decent room for a decent price.
- 5/5
The WiFi was down so we made our phone a hotspot for the tv. Not the worst just not the best. Sometimes that’s all anyone really needs, just good enough.
- 5/5
Good service
- 3/5
Our room itself was decent. Beds were comfy, shower had hot water, and we could have our dog with us. The room was mostly clean, the floors were passable. I wondered though if this whole section of this hotel we stayed in was the dog friendly part and therefore not the cleanest…the hallway and stairway carpets, windows and even the doors to rooms were dirty. On the first floor, it looked like the carpets had dried concrete all over them, and it was smeared over several doors. I don’t know if the other section of the hotel was better, it might have been if not dog friendly. We were staying just a night to sleep while traveling through so it was doable, but the cost was more than I’ve paid for staying at other similar places that were at least clean. Also, ironically, the sign out front says super clean! Front desk staff was was really nice. If you’re only staying for one night to just sleep and leave the next morning and don’t mind spending over $100 then it’s fine.
- 3/5
Definitely dated. Some sketchy people in hotel
- 2/5
Check In person quick, robotic. Floors in common areas need cleaned or replaced.
- 5/5
Room was adequate for the price, can’t complain.
- 4/5
Older building but clean, and friendly heplful staff.
- 4/5
Comfortable bed friendly staff
- 1/5
We will never stay here again!!!!!!!!! Very dirty and just unclean!!!
- 5/5
Will stay again
- 4/5
Good Hotel
- 4/5
Carpets are a Little dirty. Contracting works needs better finishing work. Tile grout is messy Paint on doors. Sheetrock patches are bad. But you get what you pay for. I will for sure stay here again. It's cheap and staff of friendly. I did not try their breakfast but it looked busy so i am guessing it's not bad. I will recommend to people looking for a cheaper option
- 1/5
Filthy. Would never stay again.
- 4/5
the room was nice and clean, but my husband was bitten by something.. he reported it so they could spray.. the continental breakfast was fine, but we didn't have time get much
- 3/5
In a total remodel, so not the best place for quiet, cleanliness or safty. The reception rm & breakfast room was remodeled and looked nice. I was on second floor and stairs were closed for remodel. (Unsafe at this time.)
- 3/5
The hotel staff was nice, check in easy. If youre looking for a clean bed, and hot shower, this hotel checked the boxes. It is easy access on and off the highway. It is old and in need of updates. Breakfast had very few choices, but for a stop and go it was perfectly fine.
- 1/5
Shower was cold - told staff at front desk: “sorry about that” … extremely dated room, curtains that don’t close completely, shower rod falling off the wall. But for $200+ per night, gotta have a hot shower. Too cold to stand under.
- 1/5
The staff was nice.
- 3/5
Room comfortable. Had rooms listed as non smoking when entire hotel was smoke free. No smoke alarm
- 3/5
The only complaint we have was they advertised having laundry facilities, an indoor pool and hot tub. I was told the washer was just sent out for a repair. Stuff happens and no big deal. The pool was definitely cold and not warm. Maybe 60-65f I would guess. The hot tub had a sign posted saying the jets weren't working. Upon inquiring with the staff on when it was scheduled to be repaired, I found out they weregoing to fix it and had been that way for years. The required timer required per Utah law had been removed and a faceplate installed over the wiring. The staff said it was still a hot tub after we stated we had picked this Super 8 because of the advertised hot tub, pool and laundry. Total violation of Utah truth in advertising 13-11a sections. There were other similar priced hotels in the area we would have stayed at that had functioning amenities we wanted. Nice place, but this is just not being honest with people.
- 5/5
Room was nice. We appreciate the upgrades since we last stayed there. In the lobby area as well. Staff was nice and parking was fine.
- 4/5
Old , but dirty, need new carpet
- 3/5
Could have been cleaner
- 5/5
Easy parking; clean, but older; kind associates; could really use smart tvs
- 3/5
The staff is very nice and helpful. Parking was very congested at end of day so I’m glad I got there early. Pool looked nice but I didn’t use it. Applebee’s within walking...yum! NOW for the bad part, shower control knob was broken so I couldn’t take a shower the next day. The sink drained slow so it held dirty water for a while which was gross. Overall they charged way too much $146 for a king
- 5/5
Great place and clean
- 4/5
Breakfast didn’t have any gluten free options. I had no soap, shampoo or conditioner of any kind when I went to take a shower and the floor under the chair was dirty (my dog immediately alerted to what was there.)
- 2/5
noisy, just not clean
- 4/5
Affordable option for a single night in town. There is definitely some age showing, carpet needing replaced for instance. And limited power outlets and no USB ports on the 30 year old alarm clock.
- 3/5
The price was ok and location was convenient, however the property could use some TLC. For example, the bathroom had holes in the wall that were not patched up.
- 4/5
• Let us know that microwave and mini fridge can be plugged in at the same time otherwise microwave will trigger the breaker •Let us know to put the do not disturb sign so that housekeeping doesn’t come into the room and snag towels and freshen them up, which is a great idea, of course, if you are aware of it, otherwise you walk into, surprise! We came in the room
- 5/5
Staff and room were very good!! Rear parking has a steep slope, but was a good parking area.
- 3/5
the property is dated my room had damage to the walls but the bed did sleep good
- 2/5
Had coffee pot, but no sugar or cream, no tea no stir sticks! no door strips underneath the door light come through the doors around the frame. Very loud and a lot of water drip in the bathtub that would not shut off. Not enough tables and chairs for breakfast in the morning. Two little staff is the problem I believe. But the people that do work there are very nice and very willing to help as much as they can with the time they have.
- 2/5
Lots of rusty fixtures. Plumping situation abysmal. Beds super comfy and clean. Need to upgrade outlets… only one outlet by bed and was very loose and couldn’t hold the plug at all. Other outlets were a power strip.
- 2/5
The hotel smelled like cigarette smoke and mildew. The carpet and walls were filthy, and 3 of our light fixtures didn't work. We were given the option to switch rooms, but the substitute room smelled so badly of dog that we opted to stay in our reserved space. If there are not designate pet or smoking rooms, then I don't know how they expect to keep bookings. If there had been any other available hotels I would have switched reservations.
- 5/5
Very thing was fine and as expected.
- 5/5
Very good
- 1/5
It was the worst motel we have ever stayed at in 26 states so far! It was dirty, stinky, stained and very old and run down
- 5/5
Friendly polite staff, clean, worked great for my needs
- 4/5
The place was good, but not great.
- 3/5
Staff was not very friendly and the guy at the counter had body odor. They say friendly on the marquee but that is not true. I asked for the tv to be turned on in the breakfast area and was handed the remote without a word.
- 4/5
Property needs some upgrades. Carpets were worn and stained but it was very obvious that they were trying very hard with what they have. Breakfast was very good and all areas without carpet was very clean. Bathroom needs updated but was clean.
- 2/5
Hotel is older facility. Clean and comfortable. Outdated as it needs improvements.
- 5/5
Great deal, room was quiet and clean.
- 4/5
The room smelled really bad
- 5/5
The front desk guy was great, our room was clean and there were plenty of breakfast options. The pool was on the farther end of the parking lot and there are two houses almost connected right to it which felt a little weird but we were not bothered by it. Over all out stay was nice and convenient
- 1/5
My reservation was not at the hotel!spent about 30 minutes on the phone trying to get resolved! Not happy
- 5/5
Breakfast needs more protein choices. Carpet is shabby. But every else was excellent from the staff to the space in the room. Beds are comfortable. Definitely a good place to stay on a roadtrip.
- 5/5
It was ok. Older property. Was just needing a place to stay for a night.
- 3/5
The lobby and breakfast are was decent.
- 3/5
Wouldn’t recommend
- 2/5
This place stinks. Go elsewhere!
- 1/5
Bed bugs and was bit all over any exposed skin would not recommend or go to again
- 3/5
Room was *very* dated and run down. There’s not a single USB port in the place. Even regular plugs, the night stand light was plugged into an old two-prong extension cord. There was one set of 6 outlets, on one of those surge suppressors that mount directly to the plug on the wall. The decor is old, wallpaper falling off walls, bathroom fan falling out of the ceiling, mold on ceiling above shower. (See pics)

Hotel was okay for what was needed. It was dated and the area was kinda loud.

Great place enjoyed our stay

Clean
- 4/5
Easy access. Area appears clean but our room smelled damp. Sat in chair which promptly broke. Very walkable to many restaurants.
- 3/5
Rooms need a little more maintenance and remodel.
- 3/5
Not bad overall. We almost had to stay in a room with no air conditioning but they changed us to a different room
- 5/5
Super!!!
- 4/5
The place met our needs. It is a bit run down and needs new carpets on the stairs.
- 3/5
Room was close to the front desk. Stains on carpet and a used wash cloth hanging in the bathroom.
- 5/5
The bed was comfortable and clean as we're the room
- 3/5
It's not a bad hotel for the price if you're looking for something cheap.
- 5/5
I will continue staying at this motel when I come through
- 5/5
The pool is nice but te Bathroom Ned to Mach work

Very musty and dirty
- 3/5
The room was very run down. The air conditioner was noisy and the nob to control the temperature was on the floor and I had to put it back on. The bathtub faucet leaked constantly. The whole place needs an upgrade!
- 2/5
Spartan. Run down. Room smelled bad. Window shaker AC that was very noisy and I had to turn off. Bedside lighting didn't work
- 1/5
The hotel smelled musty on the main level and on the second flooor it smelled like marijuana when we arrived at 5:00 and then it still reeked when we arrived back at the hotel at 9:30. Allegedly it is a no smoking hotel, clearly that was not the case.
- 5/5
Really nice staff
- 5/5
Everything was great. We enjoyed our stay. Would like to come back again.
- 3/5
It was an average stay for the lowest price I could find for the room in Grand Junction in the middle of the Summer season. I have stayed here before, and the room was adequate. The A/C worked well. I didn't eat the offered breakfast because it had too many carbs and not enough protein. I used to love the waffles. The stay filled the bill for the business I was taking care of.
- 2/5
Very old … not pleasant/pleasing to look at or be in!
- 4/5
The beds are a little hard but they keep the room clean I did like it

Location
- 2/5
Carpets very dirty in room and hallway. Fridge not cold. Elevator not working, hole in a door in corridor.
- 2/5
Nasty, dirty carpet was sticky. Bedding was very worn out. Air conditioning was old and insufficient. Cleaning lady turned our air conditioning off and we returned to a sauna. So hot and uncomfortable that sleep was impossible. Patchy holes in walls. The place needs some major upgrading and maintenance. Desk staff was ok, though.

Nice easy to access location!!

If you’re a senior, this is not k the hotel for you
- 2/5
The carpets were dirty, the elevator didn’t work, the ac didn’t work in one of the rooms. It was 100 degrees outside!

Wonderful
- 5/5
Hotel was clean and quiet. Good breakfast. Friendly staff
- 4/5
It was clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
It was okay
- 2/5
We had 2 Rooms and they both were disgusting. Mold in bathrooms, everytime you flushed the toilet water came out onto the floor from the toilet, carpets were disgustingly dirty, bathroom door had a hole punched out of it. One bathroom tub sunk in the middle as if the floor was damaged and the water would not drain out of the tub. Needs lots of TLC and maintenance.
- 2/5
The place was horribly maintained. Out of service elevator so had to walk to third floor every trip. Carpet looked like it needed to be replaced 20 years ago. Just a real dump of a hotel, but it was the cheapest on the block.
- 1/5
Everything in the room, from tv, to light sockets, to lamps, to toilet, was completely broken and or not functional. Ridiculous, especially for what they charge. Even the shower curtain was dysfunctional. People partying all night, hallways constantly smell overwhelmingly like weed. No discount given for a family with a someone in the hospital with life threatening health issues. No refund for everything being broken. Worst motel I’ve ever stayed in.
- 3/5
Room was fine, but sink did not drain well. Elevator was not working. Carpet on stairs is filthy and torn. Breakfast was OK.
- 2/5
I was only there 1 night. The hair dryer didn’t work, the a/c unit was very noisy and I found a long black hair on my pillow. I won’t be back.
- 5/5
Pool was working, clean, and heated enough so that it was comfortable. Breakfast was enough to get us going in the morning.

Need to remember not to book here again — this used to be a decent motel, stayed here many times, but it seems to have fallen hard. You can see signs of neglect everywhere. Check in, and the guy at the desk says, “you’re ok with stairs, right?”. Yeah, but why? Well, elevator is busted. Room door has a big scrape across the front, and AC in the room looks like it’s from the 80s — no temp set point, vents are busted, and it barely blows cold air. Sweated all night. Tried to turn on lamp and of course it doesn't work. Booked a queen and it’s a well-worn twin. Carpets are worn, could go on and on… Grim. Worst stay in a long time.
- 3/5
The elevator was broke
- 4/5
Good location, the elevator was not working, free breakfast was very sparce
- 2/5
The hotel was close to the freeway but still pretty quiet. The late noise came from the kids at the pool. The lobby was new and looked great and the kid working the desk was very polite and attentive. The electrical outlets in the room were so old the plugs wouldn't stay in them. The breakfast had no juice and no effort was made to obtain any. I was very disappointed in the hotel. It definitely wasn't up to standard.
- 2/5
Elevator was out of service. Staff did carry my heavy bags to the third floor. It was 99 degrees when I checked in and so was my room. I cranked on the AC, left to get dinner and when I came back the room was luke warm. Room temp wasn't comfortable until well after midnight. The carpet in the entire property is worn down with looks like it's from 1984. Breakfast options were minimal with no hot food unles you made your own waffle. I'd pass on this place when I come back to Grand Junction .

Love to stay here personnel is wonderful very helpful my only suggestion need an update on AC and carpet
- 4/5
I wished the elevator worked.
- 3/5
I have stayed in much nicer, cleaner Super 8s. The front area looked very neat and clean. When you went into the hall to the rooms the carpet was very dirty. We had two rooms and the carpet in each room was very dirty. Definitely did not want to walk on it with bare feet. One of the two rooms smelled very bad. My sister bought an air freshener to put in there. The breakfast I have had at other S8 hotels have been so much better. They were helpful when our shower faucet broke. They came right away to fix it. I was a bit disappointed over all.
- 5/5
Unfortunately, the TV wouldn't cooperate so that was a disappointment, however, overall the area, staff, and vibe was spot on.
- 3/5
Moved us to better room! Carpet old! Good hot water! Bed uncomfortable! Breakfast coffe juice cereal waffle yogurt few pastries! Not bad!
- 3/5
A/C super noise and not cooling.
- 5/5
It was a hotel
- 3/5
Just really old needs updates bad
- 2/5
Dumpy and smelly
- 5/5
It’s an older hotel but it was clean. They had an awesome morning breakfast layout, If you had an issue, they addressed it right away. We will be back
- 5/5
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. One thing I might suggest is adding some kind of protein to the breakfast such as scrambled eggs and some kind of meat.
- 3/5
I'm a disabled veteran and they put me on the 3rd floor with no elevator. It is out of order and no plans too fix, plus I am 70 years old.
- 5/5
Good seat.Good value.
- 5/5
Friendly staff - clean rooms - adequate breakfast offerings - close to lots of attractions...

Mold visible in bathroom; bathroom exhaust fan did not work. Woke up feeling very sick, beds were extremely uncomfortable. Will never stay there again or recommend to anyone.
