Cons: Pay for parking, loud people in front parking lot can be annoying but I think that was a one off situation during my stay, weak shower heads. Overall: Happy with my stay and I’d recommend.

We were very impressed with the reception desk staff. Natalie was awesome. Friendly, courteous and informative about restaurants and how to get around the area. The breakfast was delicious. Did I say how awesome Natalie is? Great value for the area. 5 miles from the beach. About $20 Lyft ride to the beach. The suite is great. I do suggest moving the television a couple of inches so it can be seen from the bed or the sitting room. We would definitely stay with you again.

The hotel's atmosphere is very calm and comfortable, perfect for relaxing. The staff were friendly from the moment we arrived. The swimming pool was clean and there was a children's play area. The room is clean but they will only come and clean it if you request it. They gave new towel but did not make our bed. No lotion.

The breakfast was pretty gross. Rubbery egg crumbs. The carpet in our room had snags and the couch wasn’t really comfortable. The layout of the room was SO weird. The TV between the two rooms would lose the picture if you turned it too much towards the bedroom. The toilet paper holder in the wall is nearly out of reach. The blackout curtains still let in light due to grommet holes and being too short. The elevator was very slow. But every staff member was kind and courteous. The bed did not hurt my back to that is a plus. I assumed there would be a hair dryer but did not see one.

Disappointing

First time stayed in this hotel, it is a little dated but very clean, suit is big and quiet. The closet is too close to the bed. I wish they have liquid hand soap instead of bar soap that feel cheap. Bed is comfortable, shower pressure is good. It's a short distance to LAX.

Staying here was a great experience for all of us. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff was actually quite amazing... the kind and friendly sort that isn't always easy to count on in this day and age. Plus the breakfast was always fresh and the staff worked constantly to keep it refilled. Our highest recommendation for this area!

I went back to back nights and it was absolutely awesome. Jay Leno must live inthe area cause he's there almost every Sunday. Great comics performed both nights I went.

This is a fairly basic hotel but it was clean and I felt safe. The value for what I paid and what I got was very good. You definitely need a car to stay here as there isn't much you can walk to from the hotel. I would stay here again.

The pool was small. The hotel is very close to a trader Joe's and Costco, which was wonderful.

What we didn't like - The hotel room seems old as the carpet looked very old, the room has strange odor, and room AC didn't seem to actually cool the room as you would normally expect it to. Keep in mind - Even though this hotel is near the airport away from LA downtown, they still charge you car parking rate of about 25$ including tax per night. So factor this in when reserving.

Nothing of that sort to like anything about this property. The facilities. Tiny fridge, tiny dust bins. Worthless breakfast. Charges for parking our own car. Not even keeping body lotion in the US Marriott maintained hotel.

It was my first time booking a hotel and not only did expedia make the booking easy, but staff was very friendly and room I stayed in was extremely clean and comfortable.

No room service - making beds or new towels, the room was too hot and you couldn't control the AC. They originally checked me in to a handicap room for no reason.

Beds were clean. Bathroom needed work (poop) on the underside of the toilet seat. The couch and curtains were filthy. The TV didn’t work. We asked to change rooms but it was equally as grimy so just stayed put in the room we were in as it was only for 1 night. The hotel has great potential if they did a good deep clean in the rooms. For over $200 a night this hotel was the worst of the five hotels we stayed in during our LA vacation. Hotel did say they would reimburse us the $22 parking to try to make up for the condition of the room but it did not appear on our receipt. Would not recommend or stay there again.

They don’t have airport shuttle service though which is different from the description on hotels.com. They did waive my parking fee, which is very helpful as we planned to return the car a day earlier but then we found we can’t.

Location was in the area I was visiting. The rooms were aged and the tv didn’t work in my first room. Then the elevators were down for a few days and I was on 6th floor finally moved to a lower floor.. so was in 3 diff rooms for my stay.. Very annoying!

Really noisy. Plumbing makes weird screechy sound, both our room and unfortunately the room directly above. Not much sound proofing in general. Other little problems, e.g. missing remote for AC, sink drain stopper broken, etc. Not what you'd expect for $300 a night. Had worse, had better...

Great budget friendly hotel to stay at. Room was clean had everything we needed. Breakfast was good. 45 min drive from Disneyland. 9 min drive to manhattan beach pier. Safe area with lots of stores near by.

The not-as-good: shower water pressure was less than what I prefer. Breakfast: I must have picked what I thought was eggs, but they weren't. Maybe tofu? There were other choices, so I was more careful next day.

There's 2 elevators at the property, only 1 was available for use. On one of the mornings the 1 elevator that was working was out of order and guests had to use the stairs for a short period of time. Other than that no complaints.

For the price, very good hotel. Breakfast was included in the price and was well stocked including waffles and fresh bananas, apples and oranges. Edmund Castellanos, Night Operations Manager, is exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay very pleasant. The road traffic was a little noisy at times.

That the staff helped.me with speaking to booking com to get my room canceled. They didn't have rooms very much understood. Didn't like how they use a platform that says they have rooms, but when you get there. Yall booked. It was too late and was left stranded

This is an old hotel building that is clearly overdue for renovation. The carpet in the hallways is almost torn out, making the place feel worn and poorly maintained. One elevator was completely out of service, and the second one was painfully slow. Very inconvenient, especially with luggage. The hotel is extremely stingy with basic amenities. A tiny mini water bottle is provided, which feels unacceptable given the room rates. Breakfast was another major letdown. The quality was very poor, so bad that even the bananas were half rotten. Not what you expect from a SpringHill Suites. Parking is the final nail in the coffin. Charging $22 for parking within the hotel premises feels unreasonable and leaves a very bad impression. To make matters worse, the pictures on the website are deceiving and look heavily AI-enhanced. The reality is nowhere close to what is advertised. Overall, this hotel does not live up to the SpringHill Suites brand at all. I will never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Great hotel stay! Staff were so welcoming when checking in. Room was very clean and spacious. Staff greeted each time we came in and out. They have a small market to buy snacks and needed medicines. Breakfast options were amazing with both warm and cold options. Plus there was always a meat option and fruits. Staff was accommodating and provided a pack and play for the little one. Our room was quiet despite the hotel being full for the holidays. Would stay here again next time I find myself in the area.

They have the same every day. After 5 days I was tired of the same stuff. When they ran out of the cut up fruit they put away the bowl, they did not refill it up. The rest went without.

Natalie was great at check in. The one thing is they lack the other exterior doors so you have to walk around to the front if you parked on the opposite side of the entrance. A minor inconvenience which seemed unnecessary.

Por último, 6:15 de la mañana comenzó a sonar la alarma de incendio pero era falsa alarma, no dando ninguna explicación y tardando en apagar la alarma por largo rato. El personal amable, las instalaciones antiguas. Fácil de estacionar, excelente ubicación cercano a aeropuerto y Manhattan Beach. Desayuno incluido.

What was very clean was the carpet was very clean need to carpet clean them more. Everything was okay we were close to the area we needed to be in. Didn't have any problems with staff or room.

The room we checked in to was filthy. The carpet, sofa, pull out mattress, even the curtains were dirty! There was a blood stain on the bathroom wall. It really made me question the cleanliness of the sheets and blankets. We were given another room and there was a huge stain on one of the sheets when we pulled the comforter back. It was a tad cleaner than the first room but still looked dirty. Luckily the staff was very understanding and expedia was very helpful and we were able to get our two remaining nights refunded expeditiously. We have stayed at other Springhill Suites and never had issues with the cleanliness of the rooms. Very disappointed in that aspect.

My friend and I stayed here for a concert. We were greeted with such hospitality from the front desk! The room itself had everything we needed, as we weren’t staying for too long anyways. We passed by the pool at around 7:30pm, and it was pretty calm and not that crowded. The breakfast was your average American style breakfast, not much to say on that part. The bacon wasn’t my favorite but the sausage the next following morning was good. Some dark stains were on the carpets, but my friend and I didn’t really mind nor notice them as much. There are nearby places to shop and eat at, and though probably not a walkable area for most, we both come from San Francisco so basically anywhere is walkable lol. If you’re looking for somewhere decent to stay, and on the cheaper side compared to other hotels in the area, I recommend this hotel.

Our coffee make didn’t work and they said they’d bring us a new one. Never did. There were no sanitary wipes in the workout room. Told the front desk and they said they would put some in there. Next morning still no wipes for machines. There were no towels by the pool area. Asked for towels at the front desk. 2 hours later still no towels. When we moved the garbage can in the room, there was trash from previous guest behind it. Will not stay here again.

Comfortable beds

We reserved a room through Expedia several months in advance and paid when we reserved it. However, without informing me, the hotel moved our reservation to another hotel, but in a much smaller room (it slept two, while we had five people). It was a headache to get it all figured out.

Dislikes: omg am not sure if all the rooms are like the one we got, needless to say we were disappointed! Our room had ancient amenities; walls are thin you can hear noise from next room. The beds are so uncomfortable, the couch is terrible (filled with stains, they flipped it down so we wouldn't know at 1st glance). Tv is placed at an odd place, at the entrance of the bathroom. Our bathroom racks were completely rusty. The toilet has yellow stain on the side. The air condition was so noisy our little ones couldn't sleep well. The workspace had a lamp that looks like something they grab at goodwill for $2. We had to beg to have linen change and have fresh towel. We tried the free breakfast and had to go get breakfast outside the next morning. Hard to tell this belongs to Marriot!

Close enough but still need to have transportation to get to the beach area. Conveniently located near LAX and felt safe staying. Breakfast choices were good. It could be a little cleaner and the furnishings are a little worn down, overall for the price compared to others in the area very good!

When we arrived, we were put in a room with previous health and safety issues; we believe we found remains of bed bugs on the mattresses. Despite this, the staff and manager handled the situation well and got us a new room as well as a partial refund. I appreciate the help, but would have enjoyed using the amenities such as pool and hot tub but unfortunately missed out on this access due to having to move rooms 3 times within the first night of our stay.

The room had a noise in the bathroom wall it was difficult to sleeping, le sofá bed was imposible to sleep, the pull out bed was dirty and the matress was the most uncomfortable, also the mattresses on the beads where super worn out, the greatest thing was the staff, but for a SpringHill chain hotel I would never stay here Again

The staff was professional and pleasant. The room was nice, and it included a couch for an extra sleeper. The in-room fridge was not very cold, but there was a nice kitchenette area with a sink and counter. The pool was rather small and always crowded, but there were plenty of towels.

However, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, which made a big difference in our stay. The surrounding area looked nice and felt safe, and the location was very convenient for our family—it was close to the places we wanted to visit. Staff were friendly and always on hand. Always someone cleaning or busy with keeping the hotel operational. I would say the service was exceptional. The free breakfast was a big hit with everyone we observed. The building itself is okay. The elevators do need modernizing. One broke down during our short stay, although we were not that bothered as the stairways were kept really clean. Rooms can feel a little dated and might need modernizing. The sofabeds definitely need checking before you sleep on them. They need cleaning and we did not dare folding out the bed fully as we could spot dirt on the covers.

I checked in, went to the concert that I came here for. When I returned, the whole building is dark from a power outage. I asked about getting a refund because why am I staying in a dark hotel by myself with no power until the next day, nowhere to charge my phone Nothing but can’t offer me a refund

We were woken up at 1:30 in the morning by our neighbors blasting music and having a party when my boyfriend asked them to turn the music down they try to jump him and fight him so no, we did not have a good stay. We barely even slept. I called the front desk to complain about it when it happened and nobody even came up and did anything.

Everything was going well until I went to my room on the 5th floor and was bowled over by the intense smell of weed coming from the room next to mine, it was so off putting, it seriously wreaked, and it went on that way for the two nights that I stayed… otherwise my stay was nice… I assumed that the hotel was smoke free, but obviously I assumed wrong!!

I stayed two nights. The link in the bathroom would not drain and the deadbolt on the door did not release properly when exiting the room. I let the front desk know. They cleared the drain but did not fix the door.

Un-fortunately we our connecting flight from Miami was delayed so we didn't arruve until tgw day after our booking but Hotel reception staff were amazing and still offered us a complimentary coffee and looked after our luggage for 5hrs until our connecting flight to Australia..👍🙏

We chose this property by looking at the pictures, but didn't realize that the pictures were very deceiving. The hotel was straight out of 1980's...The bathroom was a total disappointment. Location was very far off from the main attractions of the city, you are looking at 45 minutes car drive to any place worth seeing. The parking was cheap, but you end up paying much more in terms of wastage of time. Only benefit was that it was close to the airport, which is 15 minutes away. Not recommended.

Outdated facility and crowded breakfast. If you have prepaid, they won’t give you good room.

It's good, except for last night when we got home, we were surprised to see police officers. It’s possible there was a problematic guest because there was broken glass on the floor.

Be aware the hotel charges an additional 150.00 on arrival- which Expedia didn’t inform me of, this can be very challenging and expensive. I tried talking with hotel staff and she was very short and almost rude about it( like I should have known) A different staff came out when I keep trying to understand why I was being charged and did a better job of explaining things. Rooms were very outdated and surrounding area is questionable. I will never stay here again

Good breakfast, location and rooms were clean and spacious.

The place has a safe and quiet environment. Staff are nice. The rooms are a bit dated , especially the couch. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the most. Will definitely stay there again when I’m back in LA.
