The breakfast is amazing though. It is well worth the stay. The bed is comfortable, as well. Though you cannot adjust the temperature in the room and it is at 71 degrees. That is too cold for us.

I went late that night. Was so happy they had a room for me. This is my second trip to this HOTEL. IT WAS VERY COMFORTABLE. THEY HAD AIR CONDITION IN BOTH ROOMs. It was like being in a small apartment. The lady at the front desk was so nice. It was nice seeing her again. Thanks

The room we were moved was a little better but room carpet still smelled. Bfast was ok. Location was ok. But overall, hotel needs to be renovated.

The stay was great. Although parking was $22 a day which made no sense because it was a stand alone hotel. So adding $140 to my stay surprised me. Next time would definitely find a hotel with free parking. Did have a loud family above us stomping and running around all night. Called front desk, said they would call and ask them to stop. It continued our whole stay. From sun up to sun down.

From check in to check out everything went really smooth, the room was also cleaned a couple times which was such a relief. Staff was on it, I never had any issues. Great place to stay at, I’ll definitely be coming back.

Great staff. Breakfast was excellent. Only issues were, the tissue shortage(due to it being in storage), and the condition of the clothing and restroom drawers(looked like they haven’t been cleaned in a while. But overall, would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone.

Super welcoming staff when we arrived for our late check in. Comfortable, clean quiet room and beds. The hotel was slightly dated but it didn’t impact our experience. Breakfast was below average (premade food transported in) but good for us. Eating area was small so we brought the food back to our room. Our stay was great and it was great value for what we paid. We’d definitely stay again!

We asked for conditioner since it was out, but never got any. The free breakfast staff were amazing! Our kid is celiac and we told them so they held a gluten free packaged muffin for her.

The Breakfast was great. The Pool was so warm. It was super relaxing. I love this Hotel & it’s not even far from LAX.

Great room for what we needed. Great service for the nine days we were there. Only complaints, we had a suite with two bedrooms and in one of the bedrooms there was an AC vent that was really loud, we were able to tolerate it. Also, the pillows could be firmer. Other than that, it was ok for what we paid for.

I liked that it was close and convenient to my nearby event I didn’t like or appreciate how my reservation room size booking, that was made,2+ months in advance was downsized to SEPARATE STUDIOS which therefore didn’t use the second studio.. AND WITH NO CALLING TO GIVE UPDATE OR ADJUST PRICING.. I payed $1115 for a single studio ?

The front desk staff were very helpful and courteous. The buffet breakfast was good and there was lots of parking space. The location is very good with many eateries nearby and the airport not so far away. We didn't use the pool but the gym was good for our needs. Will definitely stay there again.

So the smoke alarm keep going off. We had to disconnect it ourselves for several nights only to gind it reconnected until i disconnected it and handed it to staff at the front desk. But the manager did apologize and gave us 25k in points with bonvoy as a sorry. But still shoukd have been fixed the first time otherwise managment tried but staff failed which means more training.

Also pet friendly. Paper coffee cups, plates & bowls are great but would be even better if hotel also uses eco-friendly utensils and paper juice cups to help Mother Earth! =)

The hotel and staff were beyond excellency. Hotel’s staff service was excellent. We would like to thank to Brittany and Marcella, they were very attentive and cordial every morning at the breakfast Buffett. Not to mention Catalina, the housekeeper. Thank you so much, Panamanian family.

It can become a little noisy when people are down sitting near the pool area and the barbecue, it’s very difficult to sleep. People are there are told 2 o’clock in the night. We had to change our room, but overall it was a good experience.

I enjoyed my stay. My room was more than I needed, a small kitchen & work area - very well suited for out of town workers. Convenient to LAX & the beach cities. When I’m next in Manhattan Beach, I will definitely consider another stay here

Love all the people, the room and the convenient place to visit CA. The personal was so kind like Guadalupe, Luis and Brittany. The room had a kitchen and lot of space. The breakfast was delicious. The area is safe and clean.

Hotel was great only thing was having to pay for parking. It doesn’t make since considering there is plenty of parking on the property. Parking was $20 a night … should be included with hotel

TownePlace Suites was a nice, clean place to stay in Manhattan Beach. The rooms are ample and the location is excellent when I want to visit my family.

It was a clean room. I loved the kitchen. I loved the amenities. Comfy bed. Very clean bathroom. That is especially important to me. Nice cable TV, nice A/C. Everything worked well in the room. Only drawback was the daily parking fee that I was not made aware of ahead of time. Overall, the stay and the room was above average.

I hate that I had to kill damn spiders in the bathroom. I hate the way the bathroom is configured. I hate the position of the tv. I think housekeeping neends to do a better job. But, I especially hated that the friggin metro train runs past the hotel. Then there was the fact I could hear my neighbors snoring & talking loud. Hotel definitely needs to soundproof the windows.

Cons : The area where you have breakfast is small. One night, the room beside us was playing loud music and just really loud and the next day smell Marijuana. Should have called front desk. I wonder if the hotel has a 24/7 security that would do spot checks in the hallways because for sure they would have heard it too.

Great service. Easy process. Front desk associates were amazing and very considerate. I dropped my wallet and they returned it before I even knew it was gone. Kudos to this team for their great service, and welcoming environment.

We stayed at this great hotel during our visit to LA with my spouse. It was conveniently located near the beach and exuded a luxurious feel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was simply amazing!

So enjoyed my stay. I really love the Oven. I like to cook instead of eating out everyday. Made me some lamb one day and lobster tails another. Really good cutlery, dinnerware and baking pans!

The room was just right for our family Christmas dinner. The kitchen came with a stove top and an oven. We had room for a fold out table so that we could all sit down and eat together and we had our dog with us! The staff were responsive and friendly.

The hotel stay was great, however my experience with Expedia customer service was absolutely HORRIBLE! I don’t think I’ll be using Expedia again to book anything.

Several things were well, but the pay per parking it wasn’t correct for me.

The property was really nice and the rooms were impressive. My only complaint is that certain areas were not as clean as I would have liked. For instance, one of the bedroom door knobs was sticky, the remote control was dirty, and the fridge was also not very clean. Other than that, however, everything was great! I will definitely stay again!

Carpet was nasty. It was stains all over it and the room smell just like urine. The price of the room was overrated going through a third party. I will never do that again.

What I wasn’t expecting was the $150 deposit that is kept for 2-5 business days. That took me for a loop. It was troublesome because this was a trip on family health and I have to stay at 4 hotels in total. Concerning if all of them did this hold could be a problem. When traveling, keep this in mind.

What I likes specially about this property was its convenience. I could just get Torrance transit #8 and it would take me up and down to The Galleria, Del Amo Mall and to the airport in the other direction. Around within walking distance, there are restaurants, groceries stores, another mall, the Manhattan Village. The grren line is not far either, 10-15 walk

This was not a good choice. The air conditioner gave out a terrible odor and it would cut off against the set temperature so it didn’t work properly. The bathroom sink did not drain properly so we used the kitchen sink instead because no one ever showed up for the bathroom drain issue. There was a huge stain in the carpet near the door, trash left in the hall by other residents gave out an awful odor when we first checked in and all the doors along the hallway looked dirty and were not appealing to the eye. I would never stay here again so it did help me in deciding where not to stay for our next visit!

Phones, elevator and AC broke down during visit… noisy room due to location in building. Transit ran all night. Free parking, breakfast and good location…but they need to work out some issues.

I would have rated the staff a 10 instead oa 9 but there was one employee at the front desk that had excuses for everything - other front desk employees were quick to address any issues without making excuses and were very friendly. Had a housekeeping issue that never got resolved.

Quite the phenomenal place. It was centric to tons of places like Starbucks at less than a mile away, a Barnes & Nobles not too far out, and Target and other handy stores down the block. Overall, the hotel was clean and tidy, not only including the room itself but even the gym and breakfast area. The only issue I had was with the wifi. I would definitely recommend this homely and tranquil spot.

Having 2 rooms was really nice. The fitness room is good, and the guest laundry was great. (It’s a little thing, but having a dryer that dries quickly was really nice.). One side of the hotel faces a train that runs every few minutes. It wasn’t a problem but was a little loud. The location is convenient to both the highway and a good selection of food and shopping options.

This hotel hosted a block party bbq in the car parking lot blasting loud music from the morning until the early morning, absolutely insane! Made several complaints to the staff and they did nothing and one employee actually defended their actions. Never experienced this in all the hotels I’ve been to.

Not great.. there is no shuttle from the airport, there was no in room wifi, there was no business center or lobby computer.. the eggs and rubbery sausage literally tasted like pieces of rubber.

I chose this property because it offered free breakfast and parking on Expedia, but when we arrived they charged me for parking and the breakfast was minimal. Also, I am not a fan of non-smoking hotels that allow people to hotbox with weed for days.

This property is pretty good overall. Clean, comfortable and save. Convenient location for us. Staff was friendly and professional. The only gripe is that the breakfast area is small and we couldn't find a place to sit. There also a 420 smell almost everyday but I guess that is a guest issue.

It was relaxing. My TV was not connecting to the WIFI and I was unable to access my streaming channels on my first night. The issue was resolved the next day.

Checkin told me parking was 30 dollars a day. Too late for a refund. Strangely the parking decal said it was 20 a day. So now I have no idea how much of my credit card was going to be hit for. Probably won’t stay there again when there’s better options 2 miles away on Marine Ave and the 405.
