Everyone is very helpful and it’s quite a nice hotel but it could be a tad cleaner

The staff were amazing… valets were first class and super helpful. The in house restaurant… which is rarely good was fantastic! I had the jidori chicken three nights in a row. Best chicken I ever had. Rooms super nice and spacious everything very clean. Will stay there everytime I go to Irvine!

I am extremely picky when it comes to the smell of hotel rooms and cleanliness and this was the cleanest room I’ve ever seen and we stayed in two different rooms. There was no smell whatsoever. We really enjoyed getting to the pool early before the children took over the pool, and I enjoyed the spa vibe at the pool with the music and the screen, and 11am drinks n food at pool. On Saturday a server offered us complimentary icecream and fruit and soda! The 4 elevators made quick access to any floor. You can ask for robes and slippers. also enjoyed the restaurant with the really cool LED art wall-screen. The beat walnut goat cheese salad was amazing, as was my child‘s truffle oil, Angel hair pasta. The Mai Tai was delicious and strong. The marketplace: avocado, lemon oil egg goat cheese toast was so delicious. Coffee drinks yummy. Bfast sandwich small but yummy. Fire pits at night w couch loungers. Modern accent lights in rooms. I did request a non-adjoining room for a quieter experience. I received a 2nd floor room with lousy view of AC unit, but they were willing to transfer us. Stayed 5 nights with 2 different reservations. Close to Hmart with boba, Wahoos fish restaurant, Mothers Market, Starbucks, Fashion Island shopping, Tustin Marketplace, Beach sunsets at Corona Del Mar grassy overlooks- just perfect for our needs.

The staff was helpfull when I did encounter problems. It was so packed with tournaments and a Pokémon convention i dont believe the staff was equipped with enough information. I had issues with my parking. Then when check out came there wasnt any carts. I do believe the staff did they best they could.

The trip was so exiting and the hotel was so wonderful I’m coming back next week for a 3 day stay. I have been coming to this hotel for over 12 plus years. I’ve enjoyed the stay every time. See you next week thank you

Only hotel in the world that requires you to reserve your breakfast time on opentable at the Club Lounge. Pretty silly as it was empty. Food in the Club lounge is poor.

It is a well maintained Hyatt with amazing staff. I always stay at that same hotel when traveling for work. The staff is very friendly and professional.

I love Hyatt Regency in Irvine

Overall, it was a great day. Kids used the pool and watched a movie in the evening, which was absolutely great. Drinks and food by the pool were tasty. Inside bar was absolutely enjoyable. Room was nice and clean. 10 out of 10 for sure.

The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Our room was absolutely clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place.

This was an excellent hotel but very ultra modern. Since i like traditional decor and furniture there were some things that i did not like. I prefer a chest of drawers in a hotel room not the bench with 2 little drawers which were insufficient. There was no desk just and oval table which did not suffice for our laptops. I would also prefer a microwave to a safe since warehouse 72 only had overpriced fru fru fussy food. Also the pool access was through the parking lot which was a bad design.

If the bathroom have a glass instead of curtain that would be much better

The hotel itself was great: nice, new, clean, modern. The staff helpful and professional. But the hotel was overflowing with screaming pre-teen and teen-aged girls. The guests in the next room to our were having a party, yapping at the top of their voices and slamming doors at 11 pm and midnight. We will make it a point to avoid this hotel due to the kind of clientele it caters to.

The rooms and facilities. Plenty of lounging area throughout the hotel. Multiple water stations to refill your water bottles. I asked for early check-in to get my daughter ready for her dance competition. They couldn't accommodate that at that moment but said they would text me as soon as the room was ready. 1.5 hours later, no text and check-in time had started so clearly they didn't bother texting me when the room was ready.

My only quibble is more about Irvine, which is so car-oriented. You can walk from the hotel in the sense that there are sidewalks, but there is nothing - stores, restaurants, etc. - within walking distance. Just a couple office buildings (great if you have business with JP Morgan, Charles Schwab, or K&L Gates). And the $42/night parking fee is probably consistent with the market but it’s a pretty captive market given the car dependence of the area. It’s Irvine. Would be nice if their little shop had less usurious prices. But

I checked into this hotel not expecting much - I never expect more than mediocrity from these large chains. But I have to say that this hotel is the best of its kind. It was remodeled two years ago, but still looks brand new. I was particularly impressed by the quality of my room - outstanding. No, you're not going to mistake it for a suite at the Four Seasons, but everything was done to a very high standard compared to other hotels in the same price range - lots of attention to detail in both the design and the construction. Only disappointment was the tub / shower combo with a shower curtain - not good! But the bathroom lighting was excellent and the bed was super comfy, maybe a bit soft for some tastes. The pool area (which I didn't get to enjoy) looked spectacular and worthy of a Four Seasons. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

It was such an amazing experience. The Staff were amazing! The pool was spectacular, the kids enjoyed it so much. It was a top tier experience that we booked another stay before we even checked out. A lot of nice restaurants nearby too.

Stay at mostly high end hotels only and don’t always put Hyatt in that category. Exception here. This is an urban hotel but excellent. Had everything I would want. Stayed in a suite and came with champagne - upgrade and splurge and you will be surprised how nice!

The hotel was very crowded and never let up. There is nowhere to park except for at the hotel or valet. Parking is $42/night per vehicle. We had to vehicles and I find it ridiculous when hotels want to charge you to park at the establishment you are already paying for. The TV in one of the rooms was not working. We waited 2 hours and 40 minutes for maintenance before giving up and leaving for dinner. The slide at the pool was closed all weekend and that information was not on their site. It was in the high 80’s and the reason I chose this hotel. One of our rooms had a dirty bathroom and trash in the bin from previous guests. Onsite restaurant was just okay. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there. Overall, I don’t recommend this place. There are better hotels in the area for the same or better pricing.

Everything was great except one thing: The massive video screens in the lobby and restaurant. They are dystopian and horrific. Guests don't need to be assaulted by humongous screens with moving AI generated content when they are trying to wind down from work, which often involves starring at screens. Nice soft jazz, tasteful artwork, soft lighting. Do that and the hotel will be perfect.

We enjoyed the hotel overall, but the early check-in experience was disappointing. We called twice during the day to ask about early check-in and were repeatedly told our room was not ready. When we arrived after 4:00 p.m., we were told that two other rooms had already been available, and there was an issue with our originally assigned room. It seemed the phone agent never actually checked availability for us. As a result, we lost several hours we could have spent enjoying the property. This was a birthday trip for our son, and missing pool time made it especially frustrating.

The room smells so bad, like old wood smell. But it’s species and nice view. The service is too bad, somehow I was not able to access my room with the fob, I’ve talked to front desk, they were saying someone will be here shortly to give me the access. I waited almost half hour to get the help to access the door.

Loved everything, the room was beautiful and clean, bathroom was beautiful and clean, loved the decorations throughout the hotel, restaurant food was top quality, there snack to go had so many options, kid friendly, provided hot cocoa and cookies nice touch for Christmas holiday. Fitness room clean and quality equipment. It provided wipes and a water botte dispenser to refill your water bottle not just at fitness center but also in the main floor. Lots of beautifully curated places to sit and relax. Multiple outdoor fireplaces. Amazing pool area!

The staff were really friendly, the rooms were kept really clean! Check in was easy and fast, we were sad the water slides were only open on the weekends, my boys were really excited to ride on the water slides but they didn’t get a chance. Apart from that, we rented a electric car and we were happy to find out there were charging stations for our car, but no!!! If we wanted to use the charging stations we had to change our parking from self parking to valet parking and pay $35 , there was no way for us to use the charging stations since they were located on the valet parking only. Really disappointing, but we will definitely stay in that hotel again! It was clean and family friendly. Oh and I can’t forget! If you want to buy water bottles, go to a grocery store and buy a pack! If you get water bottles at the little market they have in the hotel it’s $7 for each bottle.

Staff is super friendly engaging and professional. Did not care for parking fee but I know it’s part of Orange County. Bar area was really chill , loved the outdoor fire pit. Service from Michael and Christina was off the hook amazing! They raised the bar to hire standard. Thank you for the excellent service!

Hair in shower upon check in. Each day housekeeping didn’t clean just brought more towels, emptied trash and made bed. Still overall a great hotel, close to airport and beaches. Valet staff was the best. Greeting every single time even though I didn’t have a car and ubered

The hotel is nice looking and the pool is nice, but there is little to no service. Pool orders are done via an app and take forever to get delivered. They also rent out space at the pool via day passes so the pool is very crowded on the weekend. The room was nice an reasonably priced, but we won’t be coming back based on the lack of human service.

One person at the reception with beard and works nights. I complain to him about an incident at the jacuzzi with a mob of very young kids 3 to 10 at most unsupervised that were jumping into the water, one time one kids literally tossed a young boy 3 years. I asked to counter man to inform manager and get back to me with what is the hotel policy regarding this issue. He offered me his opinion as: he let his two years old daughter going to the jacuzzi. I never heard from anyone while staying for 6 nights. The other low and negative thing I have to mention is the regency club meal option. Poorly managed and follows rules that are counterproductive and don’t make sense. I was asked to eat dinner in not more than 45 minutes, because they were expecting a lot of people to come after. Deserts are served after you leave the dining place and you come back at a later time. When we showed up we were told to take it to go. Even though they were plenty of seats empty. The other negative and shocking problem The guest next to our room, smoked pot for three nights in a row, our room smelled like pot thee whole time

The staff are amazing and made us feel welcome and supported. We had to use the sofa bed and the young man from housekeeping was so nice and did a great job setting up the bed for us. The lady at the front desk Sunday morning was cheerful and helpful. The young man in valet helped with our suitcases and was so sweet. Great job to the staff!! My only wish was that I would have gotten everyone’s names to thank the properly. I used to work for the Hyatt in the late 90’s and I am proud to say that after the experience we had at this property. Sending a huge thank you to the Hyatt Irvine team!

Safe Service

I checked in after 4 pm and they told me my room wasn’t ready which I questioned and then the front desk employee went to the back and when she returned, she checked me into a room. I also forgot my charger and asked the front desk employee about borrowing a charger. He said he would have one sent up. Nothing happened and I realized the following morning that there was a wireless charger with one of the floor lamps. It would have been nice if the employee knew that and told me so I could have charged my phone overnight

The balcony room is not really a balcony you can sit on. Disappointing since we waited for the room for over 2 hours to be ready. The slide is great but closes at 6 and 5 on Sunday. There is a big screen at the pool. Sadly they only showed a movie on Saturday night not Sunday. The pool is smaller than it looks and can be very crowded

The hotel is beautiful, and the staff is both friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and appealing, but the atmosphere leans more towards a corporate business vibe, making it less suitable for families with children. The saltwater pool is heated and features a beach entrance for younger guests, though we didn’t get to enjoy the slides as they close early. The rooms are somewhat small and lack sufficient storage for our family of four during our two-night stay. Unfortunately, the beds weren't very comfortable, and the TV channel selection was disappointing. The fitness room is spacious, but we found it frustrating how they charge for everything; parking was $40 per day, and they even charged our guests for parking. It feels excessive.

When we arrived bathroom sliding door was broken, wouldn’t fully close. Television was glitchy, unable to watch t.v. When guest services was called, they placed me on hold and the line was lost.

The most disappointing part of it all honestly was the lack of empathy from the front desk. I received a half hearted “sorry” and a comment that the cleaning staff would be spoken to. (The agent didn’t even seem surprised) After that I was met with the option of the equivalent to $30 in compensation. It was fairly offensive.

I travel to Orange County once a month at least and this was my first time staying at the Hyatt regency Irvine. The rooms are very clean and spacious! Not only did the kids have a blast on the water slides but I cannot say enough about the staff! I’ve stayed at the most elite hotels including the ritz and more and the staff at Hyatt Regancy Irvine treated us like royalty! I will never stay anywhere else when in OC!

Beds are not comfortable and the room did not have a closet just a hanger by the door of the bathroom very depressing

The place was overbooked, we couldn't even enjoy the pool or firepits due to softball all-stars going on and both being busy the entire time. There was atleast 5 teams staying there and completely took over the facility, i would of never booked there if i would've know that was the case. There should be a time limit on the firepits so the other guests can enjoy them as well.

This is a ginormous hotel. It was clean and well maintained. They appear to be understaffed since they came to clean the room at 6pm. I waited in line at the desk more than I do at other hotels. Nothing horrible just a note. The parking ticket didn't work the first time-- embarrassing to be sitting there with cars behind me--- finally found the help button and they let me right out. So reasonable place to stay just no "wow" moments.

The Hyatt had impeccable service, very clean and rooms are very spacious and comfortable. It is in a very convenient location close to everything including the Spectrum center. Will definitely come back and stay here again. Highly recommend.

The pool had around 80 kids in the pool and during 7 hrs that where at the pool they did not asked the kids to get out of the pool for a 10-15 mins to clean the pool or go make sure it was hygiene.

I was with the California Community College Academic Senate. The food and the servers were exceptional. I have been to many of these types of meetings and this one was by far the best. The worst part was the extremely poor television reception. The video would often flicker and was very annoying and disruptive.

The hotel interior and exterior, including the e pool was incredible. We stayed in a kids suite with bunk beds in a separate room, was fantastic. Only are of improvement would be the air conditioning that triggered a banging in both rooms whenever the ac was activated, likely needs just a bit of tightening/maintenance.
