The property is well maintained and clean. Proximity to the airport is great as is the hotel shuttle.

Everything was great! Pet friendly hotel. Staff was great. The room was nice and clean and very spacious. I think it was the high ceilings. Parking was easy. I really liked that it wasn't a huge hotel. Everything was so convenient. We loved the location. It was pretty central. It was near restaurants, shops, the beach and charging stations. I asked for early check in which they were happy to accommodate. I also asked for a room on the 3rd floor. The full breakfast menu was wonderful!

From the moment of arrival, the front desk staff were smiling and happy to be working for their customers. The room was clean, the facility was spacious, the bartender was nice, and breakfast was tasty and fresh.

Hilton garden Inn was really nice and comfortable. It was clean and well maintained.

I liked that there was a sink in the room at the bar area. I loved the ergonomic chair, at the desk and the size of the room was good. I loved that there was a fridge and microwave. I did not like that there was no black out curtain, and that I couldn’t choose to keep the bathroom door open if I wanted to.

Check in was easy and Dorothy was so nice and helpful. Stacey is a cool bartender and the hummus platter was really good. Room was clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Parking was easy and they do charge per night. Only draw back was they charged me for 2 waters that I didn’t even touch. Has to call and get it removed.

They shower didn’t have pressure and swimming pool was out.

Definitely order the breakfast buffet. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of meat and vegan options. Fresh, clean, delicious preparations with plenty of attention to an appetizing impression. The waitstaff was very attentive and gracious. Dining space was well lit, airy.

I used the exercise room, it was large, clean, but I was disappointed that they did not have any sanitizer wipes to wipe down the equipment; in fact I checked the sanitizing station and there was a 5 gallon bucket dispenser, but it was empty, so the question is when was the last time it was checked? The towel shelving had a few towels, not fully stocked; daily parking rate: $30 which seems to be excessive. There was a coffee maker, but to use there is a $2.00 small bottle charge (the same water bottle would have cost 25 cents at Costco); The shower pressure was disappointingly weak! Shower Drainage was very good. The sundry soap/conditioner/shampoo dispenser was filled and when pumped, the bottles seem ready to pull away from the wall. The Hyatt House, very close by might be a better alternative, I used the Hilton Garden Inn this time because I was curious and wanted to compare value and amenities.

Beautiful hotel. Was farther out than expected but that was my fault. Didn’t like fhat it said free parking and breakfast when I booked and then found out they cost 30 a night for parking and 20 per person for breakfast.

Convenient to everywhere we needed to go in OC.

The only negative was that I actually got a small cut while using the bathtub, which was unexpected and a little concerning. It might be worth checking the tub edges or surface to make sure they’re completely smooth and safe for guests. Other than that, everything else about the stay was great, and we enjoyed our time there.

The staff was very courteous, rooms cleaned every day, however there was no sign indicating parking was charged at $30 per day when I cked in and only noticed when I parked the rental car, as well I was in the hotel for 5 days, had the car for 3 and was not advised I needed to turn in the parking ticket when I cked out so I had to pay $30 for a day I did not park and was advised nothing can be done. Breakfast was expensive, but the Happy Hour Food was reasonable and very good.

There's a $30 overnight parking that I was not informed in advance. If I had known that parking will be charged and so pricy, I would not have booked this hotel room at all. The front desk receptionist was also very cold mannered and condescending. With an overnight parking fee, I think the hotel room is overpriced for their mediocre service.

The room was good quality. I was disappointed that breakfast was not complimentary considering the price of the hotel stay itself. They seriously wanted to charge money for bananas and oranges for breakfast when we're spending $150+ per night. Not to mention their hotel restaurant's meals were expensive and cocktails were $18+. If you're looking to be cost effective, I wouldn't recommend here but the quality of the bedroom was decent, just not worth it in the future for the high cost. I will not be staying here for the weekend.

I have stayed here multiple times for work. Hotel is in a safe, relatively quiet area (even near John Wayne Airport - you don't hear the planes). Breakfast is the standard buffet style, some healthy options. Location is top tier, as we have clients in the area it's convenient to get around anywhere. Staff are amazing - from check-in, to dining, they always are polite & friendly. Will definitely be back again!

Clean but wanted room service didn’t get it

The TV would only connect to the disney channel. It wouldn't play anything for more than 2 minutes before it froze. The room was clean. Nothing special.

Excellent place to stay. Spacious rooms,excellent housekeeping,very closeby to the airport and has a good amount of place to walk around. Strongly reccomend.

Majority of things about the hotel were great, and overall made my first stay in Irvine a memorable one. One small thing that I do suggest for improvement is for the gym to be updated, either with better equipment/more options!

Everything was very clean and functional. TV had a lot of stations, water pressure was good, and room amenities were perfect. Only wish lobby had complimentary coffee 24/7.

Ac kept auto turning off at 2/3 in the am. Woke up during the morning hours sweating and not being able to sleep. Asked someone to come up the 2nd night to check it out. Came up and said it’s the motion detector. Not good for us, was too hot to sleep

The view from my room was awful, but I wasn't there to look out the window. The view was of a neighboring property with a large Waste Management dumpster, with an abandoned suitcase outside the dumpster. I don't like the fact that I had to pay $35/day to park. This hotel was convenient for what I was doing. It is close to John Wayne Airport and not far from South Coast Plaza. I did not go to the restaurant on site. I like a free breakfast, but it was not included at this hotel.

We had a large suite for a very fair price--as little as or less than a single room in Newport Beach or Laguna Beach. When it's cold and drizzly, why stay at the beach?

It was a nice stay, except 1 elevator was down while we were there which made it hard to get up to our room. Location was good for me visiting UCI every day. And no hot tip which would have been nice. Otherwise was not a bad place. I go a couple times a year and have stayed many places, the convenience of the commute for me was worth it.

Upon arriving the front desk was very impersonal, barely said a few words and had a smug look on his face. Room was the worse part! The bed was incredibly squeaky. One slight turn and the bed sounded like it was going to fall apart. The annoying noise kept me up all night!! Was impossible to get a good nights sleep. If it wasn’t 1am I would’ve demanded another room- it was that bad! Water pressure in shower was so low felt like a slow trickle. Such an unpleasant stay. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

I never be told the parking need the fee. And after I left just got the charge to my credit card and each night charge $28 for parking! This is unacceptable ! If they need to charge parking should tell me when I checked in but never and just gave me the parking tag ask me to put the visible location in the car. Very very upsad situation! And will not stay here anymore as not clear and honest facing customer feel😨

The best part of our stay was the staff, especially Sammy, who truly stood out with exceptional service. However, we were disappointed that the cleaning staff knocked on our door in the morning to ask when we were leaving, despite us clearly stating our departure time at check-in. Unfortunately, this woke us up and disrupted our rest.

The property seemed quite new and quality was pretty good with people of open and covered parking spots. I was a bit surprised by the overnight parking fee of $28. Also, not sure if the property recycles as there were no bins in the room for it

Checked in very late evening. Morning checkout early. Front desk woman staff was less than friendly no smile very detached.

Very clean room, front desk employee was extremely nice (only staff member we interacted with). We only stayed one night as we were flying out of the airport the following morning and wanted to be close. Our only problem was the noise levels, we were on the 2nd floor and heard continuous noise from above our room. It woke our family up a couple of times throughout the night which made flying home the following morning kind of rough for us and our 2 kids. We were also woken up by the cleaning staff cleaning the room next to us at 7AM. Beds were comfortable and clean though.

Overall good, nice staff, easy parking although pricey 28$. Good amenities. Pool was closed during our stay. The elevators could have more security like using the card to go up for enhanced safety. I noticed a baby roach or small beetle like bug in our hotel room and have a picture, the bathroom didn’t have good circulation and gave us allergies so not sure if the filter was old or someone brought their pet into the room prior. We were fine in the bed area but if we were in the bathroom our eyes got itchy and nose was super runny
