This is our second time staying at this hotel. Both times the staff has been outstanding!

Loved the property

There is only 1 car charger on the property for those that have electric vehicles. The hotel is very clean and well kept

For a first stop on a longer trip, it served its purpose well—comfortable, convenient, and stress-free. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again for a short visit.

Good reception staff and clean rooms. Main complaint was the squeaky queen bed, keeping us away, every time we turned over. Hampton Inn is our go to hotel on the road and the beds are usually very comfortable and quiet, BUT NOT at this property. A clear disappointment, thus the 3 star.

Breakfast is always a hit especially the waffles. This is the 3rd time in 5 months we have stayed in the Studio Suite for a long weekend, and the room is always clean and quiet and spacious. The staff is incredibly pleasant and accommodating. There is always plenty of parking. The only negative I can share is the noise from the interstate is not fun if you have difficulty sleeping.

Breakfast was good. Rooms were clean. Parking was readily available. Restaurants and shopping were close by. Getting in and out of the hotel lot was a little challenging.

Excellent breakfast and great location

The breakfast was delicious! They allow dogs and have a doggy potty area with doggy bags- which is always a plus. The staff were very accommodating! The rooms are nice and updated. It’s about 25 minutes from UT- the only drawback. We originally picked the hotel because of its proximity to Pellissippi State- but later learned it was a bit far to visit my niece on the UT campus. It is right off the highway but you can’t hear it from the rooms. Many shops located right across the street. Definitely a nice place to stay!

I loved how clean the hotel room was. The staff was very friendly & the breakfast was good. The mattress on the beds were amazing, I didn’t want to get out of it! I don’t have anything bad to say about the property, everything was great.

The staff at Hampton inn -Cedar Bluff is amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable of the business as well as the area. I have stayed here twice within the last year, highly recommend staying. Think my next visit will be later in the spring/ summer when the outdoor pool is open. That is one amenity that I have not had the chance to experience.

The hotel was clean and the staff got us checked in quickly. The rooms were clean and we were greeted warmly as we entered the room. The staff was attentive to our needs. The breakfast menu was diverse, with options for every diet.

We have always loved Hampton Inns. This one lived up to our expectations! The front desk employees welcomed us and checked us in efficiently. Our room was lovely and comfortable and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and offered plenty of options: yogurt, waffles, variety of cereals, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs, fruit, juices, coffees, muffins, mini scones, bagels, bread for toast. The kitchen staff kept things stocked even with several youth basketball teams and their families eating. The location is near myriad eating out options. Turkey Creek, a large eating/movie/grocery/shopping area, is 5-10 minutes away. We would totally recommend this Hampton Inn!

Great staff, road noise a bit loud

Everything was great, nice facilities, the room was great as was the breakfast. It was very noisy at night as it is right next to the freeway.

Very good staff and the room was clean and very comfortable. The only throw back was the traffic noise to which the staff offered white noise to cancel out the sound. Definitely worth the booking.

There was someone working the desk even though we checked in after midnight. There was a security guard also stationed in the lobby area. The digital key aspect of the app didn't function properly. The swipe cards we were issued did not work at first, but we didn't know that until we had parked on the basement side and tried to get in through the sliding glass door. We had to wait for someone with a functional swipe card to come along. The automatic sliding door opened only about 5 inches and my husband had to push it open so that we could get into the building. The swipe card didn't work on our hotel room door either, so I had to go back to the front desk and get new cards. The sliding glass door to was not opening the following day either when we left to go to our car so once again my husband had to push it open so that we could leave.

The room was spacious and comfortable but very loud which prevented a sound sleep.

Newly remodeled and nicely done. Rooms are a bit smaller than expected, but not cramped. I honestly would've rated this 5 stars, but hotel staff propped the doors open that are supposed remain secure at night. It was reported to security and they stated they knew about it but weren't concerned because there were cameras. Thats not a satisfactory answer to me, nor did it make me feel safe.

Everything about the stay was amazing! Right from the start where we were contacted by Brandon, who reached out the day before our arrival to make sure he understood everything we needed and to get it all set up for when we arrived. He was amazing and quick to pick up on our needs. This was a very positive initial contact with the property and not something that happens very often. It set the tone for the rest of our stay there. Elijah and Mae were also very helpful and pleasant at the front desk, and were very good at fielding my questions and assisting me. The property itself was also superior and clean. It was very spacious and bright, and the breakfast was also above average. We will definitely be including this Hampton Inn West at Cedar Bluff in Knoxville on our future trips down south. There is nothing we found to be lacking with the property.

Room is good, but the air temp was very cold. I raised the temp and left for a while and it improved. All is good now.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean everywhere. The bed was a little too firm for me and it made a lot of noise when you moved around on it. The breakfast was ok but it needed better protein options especially for the diabetics. There were too many carbs and sugars offered

The pillows were the worst ever. It felt like towels stuffed into a pillow case. My jaw actually hurts now 18 hours later. The room was large but even with all the lights on it was still dark. The view was good.

Travel for the holidays

Mostly what I would expect from a Hampton Inn, but it is an older property and our room looked somewhat worn. It had a bit of an odor that must have simply been because of that. All in all a nice room but not quite what I expected for the money spent.

The room was as quiet as the other reviews have said, and the breakfast was well-made and surprisingly good, with plenty of options. Literally, my only complaint is our room felt humid. It took us leaving the fan on high while we were out for the moisture to escape. It didn't seem like the shower had a good vent. This is a minor issue, and it won't deter me from staying here again.

Whoever redesigned these rooms forgot to face the tv to the bed. On vacation we like to relax on the bed and watch tv, not possible here. TV faces 90 degrees from bed. WE found this room unsuitable. The gracious staff moved us to another room, which was somewhat better, but I don't think I'll consider Hampton Inn on my next trip. The staff were great and very helpful and I appreciate that.

Good location and lobby is nice along with the room layout, but the cleanliness lacked for us. There was dog hair in the room and got on our luggage and clothes. That’s just gross and totally needs cleaned better.

I came to Knoxville to attend a funeral at noon. I arrived around 10am. I asked Chris, at the front desk, if it was possible to check in early. Keep in mind check in is 3pm. Chris found a room for me and allowed me to check in. His kindness made me a Hampton Inn customer for life. Thank you!

The hotel could not find my reservation even after giving the my name, phone number and email address. I had to book elsewhere. I keep getting the run around from hotels.com and the hotel, who keep saying that they need to communicate but never do. This is outrageous and I will never book through hotels.com or the hotel again unless this is resolved.

Sheets and towels were extremely ruff. Very difficult to rest on those sheets.

Property is just average. A/C in room didn't work well. Room finishings were cheap and slightly dirty. Hallways were hot & humid. Shower did not drain.

The property was clean and inviting but, what stood out is one of the receptionists. Her name is Ali and she was very personable, always greeting the guests with a smile and a good morning or evening.

Last night there was very loud music being played from somewhere that kept us from sleeping. We had had a long, stressful day and went to bed about 8:30 pm. The music sounded like a band or live concert, although it probably wasn’t. We visit Knoxville often and this was our 1st time to stay at this property. We were less than impressed!

Hotel was clean. All areas were in good condition.

Friendly staff at counter and throughout facility. Room was very clean. Breakfast was good, egg with cheese and waffles. Kitchen staff kept the buffet full all the way until 10am. The only thing I wish they had was air conditioning in the hallways.

I was happy to get a room with walk-in shower. The property is beautiful, including landscaping. The recent renovation is impressive, and the hotel is easy to get to.

Mostly everything was okay. It seems the bathroom may have been a rushed cleaning job, there was still hair in the sink and shower. One of the queen mattresses were so worn out, it felt like my husband and I were sinking into the middle of the mattress. Also, for a hotel to have any type of satellite cable tv, is probably not a good idea. Of course we were there while strong winds and rains, interrupted the tv. The staff was friendly, no trouble checking in/out.

Staff was great. I liked having a coffee option all the time. Our bed was decent. I loved the blackout curtain. My only complaint is there was a smell in our room. I’m not sure if it came from dogs being there prior, or if it was a mildew smell. If you have a very sensitive nose, this may deter you from staying there.
