Room was spacious and clean, with adequate counter space to spread out. Bathroom counter was big with a large lighted mirror..perfect! Shower had a good amount of pressure and the hot breakfast bar was decent. Would stay here again!

Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Lots of room for luggage. Staff was really nice. Pool was good. Breakfast was amazing especially the cinnamon rolls.

That bed and the pillows were incredibly comfortable! I was exhausted when I arrived, but i slept 7 hours straight. I don't think I've done that in 30 years. Biscuits and gravy at breakfast were awesome. We drove a few miles outside of the heart of the city for this location, but they had availability and then exceeded my expectations.

On the good side, as usual, these hotels are always clean and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was good. My dislikes were that the ice machine on the second and third floor were not working. The bathroom chair was broken and left outside the tub. They were not helpful in guiding us to amenities in Knoxville.

Staff was excellent the night person who checked us in helped with a spill in our vehicle by allowing us some towels, she was friendly considerate and awesome but i forgot her name - checkin 3/14 approx 9pm. Davius (? Spelling) cleaned our room and left us a beautiful note that was feel good and a blessing. The checkout gentleman in the a.m. 3/15 -approx 630 am was helpful, kind and awesome! We travel through every year and will def keep this option open . Thank you

The room and the bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable, with good pillows. The breakfast was good and fresh. The cinnamon rolls were really good!! Maybe they need to add more variety of fruits.

This was our second stay. It was still clean and inviting. There was a couple of spills on the floor by the elevators. But other than that it was clean and the room was clean. Staff was nice and breakfast was good.

I was impressed with the cleanliness and staff here and the other 3 I stayed at on or trip my have to make this my number one pick!

First of all I want to say that my experience with Ms. Fowler was professional and excellent. However, the front desk person during the day was not. Ms Fowler had noted I would be checking in early. I understand rooms may not have been open at the time I first arrived, but 2.5 hours later the lot was pretty empty and I was met with contempt again when even trying to check my bags before going to the game. After the game, Ms Fowler looked puzzled when I told her I was checking in and stated she thought I was checking in earlier. I told her that it didn’t happen and proceeded to tell her our experience. She was very apologetic and said she hoped they could make it up to me. The room I was in #110 must be near a pump or some sort of equipment and that was annoying, but overall the location is very convenient and it was a clean property.

The breakfast bar was over the top, clean and the staff very friendly. This was our 4th time staying at this hotel and have told other family members, and they stayed as well. We will be back.

Super clean and staff was really nice! The guy running breakfast was on his game! He definitely takes pride in his job. Also breakfast was really good and having a coffee machine available all day was a really cool option.

No one came to clean the toilet and when we came back the room smelt funky. They moved us to the first floor from room 304. Down to 130 something last room on the left-hand side at the front of the building. I felt for $200 a night each night that my second room was concrete ceiling, concrete walls and echoes. The ceiling was high. The carpet was funky. There were stains on the carpet. The bed was lumpy. The springs popped out in the middle of the king bed so whomever slept in there only slept on the two sides. The lady at the front desk you could barely understand her English and she told me that’s all she had left. However, there were still rooms because I did a fake call to book a room and there were still rooms available. I coughed all night long. The AC was cold, but it gave out an odor. I will never stay at Holiday Inn express again. It was such a bad two nights of sleep. I don’t understand if people who work at hotels don’t like their jobs or have an attitude. Why would they be hired to deal with people? It’s not just that hotel Knoxville in general has the dirtiest hotels and the rudest people.

Great overall

While we checked in around 3pm, the room housekeeping staff was not finished cleaning. The bathroom had not been completely cleaned and they were still making their final check and apologized for the incomplete cleaning and finished quickly. All was good otherwise.

Would prefer to know in advance that it was another hotel that was purchased and renovated in advance. We've been to better Holiday Inn Express locations.

Holiday Inn is always our first option and they so far never let us down. Staff was very friendly and facility was clean.

Had to wait on the desk auditor to appear from somewhere behind a wall. They were not there when we checked in and had to wait for them to appear when checked out. The room door was hard to open and close.

We had an issue and when we returned from shopping, amazingly, it was corrected.

Room was immaculately clean! The breakfast was great, only to be exceeded by the gentleman working there. They were meticulous in maintaining a clean breakfast bar although there was a very large group of a rowing team there. They were quick to refill all items, ensuring everyone was able to partake of the breakfast items offered. Fantastic service!!!!

Friendly staff at check in and overall very clean. Somehow the keurig in our room was overlooked and was pretty yucky but the breakfast in the lobby more than made up for that.

This Holiday in Express was very clean and a great place to stay for anyone looking to break up their travel. The suite we stayed in accommodated 6 of us and there was plenty of room. The breakfast was great.

Stayed for one night on the way to ole miss. Hotel is nice only complaint is the fumes from the cleaning supplies are over powering and probably toxic. Bed was comfortable.

Everything was good except the partying gang in the middle of the night in the parking lot that woke up everyone in our room with their loud music and dancing.

This was a great place for families! The room was extra spacious with two king beds and also a little couch area. We had more than enough room for the whole family!

Place was a dump vending machine was out of water, front desk was rude at check in and on checkout she legit stepped infront of my wife to make herself breakfast with the last of the bacon and cinnamon rolls.

This was a very clean hotel. Well laid out. Our room was had a king size bed, but the room was large and spacious! Breakfast was good, but nothing spectacular. Waffles and biscuits were great! I'd stay there again!!!

Stayed on 77 degrees the entire night. We might have slept 2 hours. That’s not ideal when you’re traveling and it is 90 degrees outside. Couldn’t ever find anyone at the desk to complain to.

The staff made no attempt to greet us or thank us for our stay. The breakfast staff acted as if we were in their way when getting the food. The room was clean “enough” but not under the chairs, corners or around the bed. There was a stain on the bathroom floor that could probably be removed with scrubbing. The air never got cold enough. The bathroom door creaked loudly (for lack of a better word) everytime we shut it during the night, it woke whoever wasn’t using the restroom up.

The hotel was conveniently located just off the highway but far enough away not to hear the road noise. The room and property were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was the breakfast bar was out of a few items and these were not replenished quickly.

HVAC system was bad! Very loud, and room was either very cold or very warm, never a comfortable temperature. I was constantly pulling on covers, then pushing them off.

The property is very nice and clean but the man Andre I had my encounters with was not. He did nit make any eye contact with me when checking in or out and then charged my card when I had already paid through Expedia so I am now paying twice. When I called he said the money should be back to me in 2-3 business days and it's been almost a week and nothing and when I called again got a different person she said I had to talk to someone else and he is not in and his VM was full so can't leave a message. I am so annoyed with this place but the facility itself is very nice, clean and quiet

We stay here every year. This time the carpet was not as clean or fresh as our previous stays. The coffee pot did not work either. Other than that it was fine.

I always try to stay at a Holiday Inn Express when I travel, and this one was excellent, as I expected.

We stay here every year while traveling south. Our room’s carpet was not as clean as usual this time. Everything else was nice as expected.

The beds and pillows were subpar. The hotel in general was fairly clean but it wasn’t pleasant to move a pillow and discover a dead bug.

I have been using Holiday Inn for a while now. In error, I booked this hotel for the wrong day which I full take responsibility for. They were not able to accomodate me AT ALL, not even take the charge they already did to my card and book another room and let me pay the difference. Instead they told me nothing else could be done and I was stuck paying for a new room down the street. What a shame that such a large company is only after people's money and not their satisfaction. I don't see myself going back to any holiday Inn's anymore - not when so many other hotels are able to at least work with the customer to keep them coming back.

The front desk clerk was very friendly when checking in. The lobby and our room were very clean. The only thing that could have some work done was the bathroom ceiling. There were yellow spots that really just needed a light scrubbing other than that we were very impressed. Will be back for sure!
