The same gentleman that picked me up at the airport in a personal car also checked me in at the front desk. So staff is small. The breakfast items were extremely limited. Room & bed were okay. Shower somewhat grungy flooring. I’ll find another place for my next overnight stay in Albany, NY.

I’ve stayed here prior to this visit which was why I chose to go back. I was very disappointed this stay. My mini fridge was hot and the ac worked for the first day then it was blowing hot air. It’s says no smoking yet the hallway smells like an old ashtray.

Location near Albany Airport and local highways is terrific. Hot water, of which there was none for a shower. I tried twice at different am and pm and waited patiently for hot water to come thru pipes, but there was none. Secondly, there was black mold behind the toilet on the bathroom floor and wall. These are deal breakers

The location in proximity to the airport was great. The shower did not work, there was mold all around the the bathroom shower and ceiling, a stain on the bedspread, and the person at the front desk just shook his head! Not even an apology!

This was very cheap. Poor breakfast, noisy children above our room. Staff didn't seem to care.

There were children in the room above ours. They ran across the floor, jumped on the floor and bounced a ball on the floor above our room. This behavior is created a great deal of noise and disturbance of our sleep 😴..

Area has become unsafe. Room was in horrible condition to be considered clean. We bailed on this hotel and found somewhere else nearby. The staff was kind enough to provide a refund.

Dead bugs, but that was about it.

The hallways were very unkempt and missing panels in the ceiling/walls all over. My sisters room had a super dirty bathroom and ours wasn't clean enough for me to want to shower. The family that appeared to be living above us was moving constantly/making noise until about 2 or 3 am. There were children playing outside (appeared to be a family) that didn't clean up their mouths when guests were in the vicinity. Over all a dirty hotel and not a restful night at all.

The hotel was disgusting. Not clean .. stained linens, ripped bed skirts, cigarette holes in the blanket. The hotel smelled. There are tiles ripped out of the ceiling in the hallway and mold next to it. The fitness room wasn’t allowed to be used and there was no continental breakfast. They tried to hand me a paper bag with unknown what it it. The hotel houses the homeless that run around the entire night and yell with no regard to paying guests. Never ever again. I also have pictures to back up everything I’m typing about. We requested a refund via Expedia which was declined by the hotel. Terrible business and someone from corporate should be paying a visit to this place.

The wall against the headboard didn’t have any power to outlets. Hair dryer didn’t work. Shower ceiling leaking toilet seat too loose to use comfortably. Desk chair broken. Kids and arguments in halls at night. This property is a HUD subsidized housing. Personal spoken broken English and hard to understand. Take this property off hotels . Com and provide a refund to me. Arrived too late to change to a different hotel. Very bad. I’ll be reviewing Hotels. Com before using you again.

I arrived later and there was confusion regarding my parking at the facility but that was clarified and a good price established. The hallway smelled of smoke that I believe is historical and impeded in the hallway carpeting despite clear attempts to upgrade. The new shower was ill installed making turning of the water a true impossibility. The staff and owner were most eager to help in any way. They even took be to the airport before time which was greatly appreciated and the bed super comfortable.

We had checked in and the entire place stunk like cigarettes and marijuana. It was so bad we ended up checking out and checking into another hotel. Would not recommend staying there.

Good location and convenient Could’ve been a lot cleaner…. didn’t like the fact that the children that were staying there were on the second floor and all we heard all night was kids running back-and-forth because they put us on the first floor. Children should be on the first floor as a courtesy to other guests that are staying there.

N/A There were cockroaches, mice, the outside of the property along the hotel is dirty and there are people loving there. The children who love there run around the property and are loud. It does mot feel safe, and it is not clean, it is work and not updated. I was sitting on the toilet when water overflowing from upstairs poured down on me. Room changed but nothing else to rectify the experience.

Truly disgusting! Dirty bathroom, dirty fans, shredded towel. Sheets seemed clean, but if our flight had landed before midnight, we would have left to find another place to sleep.

This place is absolutely filthy, the lobby bathroom was locked and they did not have a key to unlock it, the men’s bathroom was horrendous, dried urine all over the toilets, no toilet paper and smelled disgusting. We left the paid room and had to stay somewhere else! The worst I have ever seen

Very dirty place, and very loud at nighttime

Rented 2 rooms, both had wet carpet, bathtub faucet leaked in one room and the sink facet in the other. They either started vacuuming or renovating around midnight which lasted a good 45 minutes on and off. The next morning there was no breakfast ready, which was the reason we booked there in the first place. When I asked the person at the counter about it they immediately went and made coffee and said they could go and get some bagels. Other than all of that, the rooms we not dirty, inexpensive and are ok for a night if you don’t mind the mentioned inconveniences.

The person on duty, Sakhet (not sure how to spell his name) was great. Since my flight left so early, he got me a bagel from the kitchen before we left. What great service!

Business office that was advertised is no longer there (very inconvenient for biz travelers - we often book needing a printer). location to airport is fantastic, but other issues may inhibit me from booking here again. The night clerk was very nice and friendly but couldn’t get me a plastic spoon because they didn’t have any in the kitchen after an hour wait for the kitchen key to get in. The hotel facility itself is in marginal condition and reeks of tobacco smoke.

I have stayed here before and liked it because the room is clean and the staff very helpful. I had a problem with my shower and they came immediately and fixed it and said if they couldn't they would move me. But they fixed it and everything was fine. Very helpful and great. Will stay again

Airport shuttle was convenient and the bed was comfortable. The room definitely needs some updating/fixing up. The wall above the shower was completely open and exposed, as was the ceiling tile above it. The acoustics were pretty awful and we could hear everything in the floor above us. It did find for what we needed it for, but we definitely wouldn't stay there for any longer.

Motel hallways smelled. A handicap man needed a wheel chair and I watch motel personal ignore his request. I had to walk by him in the hall way screaming he needed help. I was appalled. Children on the second floor allowed to run up and down the hallway during sleeping hours. I was scheduled to stay 4 nights. Left after 2. Will never stay here again.

The bathroom was dirty with grime in the bathtub. I couldn't bring myself to take a shower. The room had a terrible smell like a fragrance to cover up smoking scent. The room was dusty and it looked like someone spilled liquids on the wall by the nightstands. The hallways were dingy and had a bad smell.

This was our first visit to this hotel and sadly it probably will be our last. We loved the price due to the fact we were staying for 2 weeks for the holiday visit with our family. The room was ok. The bed was comfortable. I’ll never understand the complexity of TV and cable. The guide doesn’t appear until you click on each channel and a guide will appear every 15-20 channels. The shower had good temp for hot but the water would have a steady stream after you shut it off. The towels would give you a great scratching effect. Not soft at all. But great for an itch. This particular site much be a place for those in need. Kids galore. Not great for sleeping when they are pounding their feet just above you. Service was available upon request. I don’t fault the staff but. And breakfast was a serving of cold or hot cereal. Coffee yes juices no. But overall it fit our budget and it was close to our family .

The chair in the room is broken. There were freshly repaired holes in the wall, and the staff left drop clothes and sanding blocks on the floor. Looked like someone used the room for a drunken rampage and the repairs were incomplete. If the room was needed for one quick night, we'd have gone elsewhere.

It was convenient to the airport. They need a bigger hot water tank. Nothing like taking a cold shower when it's 12 degrees outside. They should be able to handle more than a couple of guests taking a shower at once and still have hot water.

The room was clean but chilly - it took two hours after turning the heater up to 80 degrees (miscalibrated) for the room to be comfortable. The free breakfast as not as advertised and seemed designed to discourage you from eating it.

We didn’t get room service until the third of the sixth day we stayed and we only got one towel. There was broken things in the room, such as the toilet seat holes in the shower area mud on the wall that was drywall mud that needed to be painted that wasn’t the only good thing was the bed, but it was hard to sleep considering there’s people upstairs bouncing on the ceilings. It just wasn’t an overall good experience.

The room was very dark. The bathroom exhaust fan was very dusty. I have pictures. The location was not good. I had a difficult time getting my monies back from the nights that i couldn't stay. My room was not very clean.

Worst Hotel I have ever stayed at. And I have staying in thousands of Hotels. hotel picked me up at the airport in some employees dirty nasty car, room was terrible, shower and sink didnt work well, people making loud noise late at night, staff working in the hall at 6 am listening to loud music, vacuuming started at 730am housekeeping started knocking on my door at 8am, there wasnt even a do not disturb sign for the room, the heating/ac system would either cool to ice cold or hot as hell, thermostat didnt work for the unit, towels were nasty with dark stains. bathroom had open sections cut into the wall with plumbing valves and insulation showing, it was like a construction zone. Hallways were dirty with all kinds of trash and leaves on the floor. I cant believe people can run a business like this and expect people to happily pay. what a disgrace. I should be fully refunded but I doubt that will happen. Hotels.com should do better research before listing hotels.

It has been an excellent stay. Staff is verry accommodating, helpful and very responsive to your needs. Clean rooms and literally on demand shuttle transportation. You are getting so much for your money. I have been staying here for a month due to work and I have nothing but great things to say.

Had to go to front desk at 12:45am and again at 2am because it was so loud.

The bed was somewhat clean, however the the wall inside the room was very dirty. The hallway leaning to the room was dirty and full of trash. I was unable to take a shower the night of check in because the hot water in the shower didnt't work. The morning i had to change room from 117-116 in order to take a shower. Secondly, i made reservations for one room and somehow they wanted to change me for two reservations. Was told by the receptionist that i have to pay for one room and the card will be changed for no show for the other reservation which i clearly didn't make two reservations. Overall, my experience was horrible from check in to check out. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The staff was engaging and friendly the shuttle service was quick and direct. The rooms leave a lot to be desired but needing only a bed for a few hours and the shuttle service it was perfect for my needs.

We wanted a place close to the airport. This hotel fit the bill nicely. Breakfast was disappointing, but not so bad that I can’t recommend the hotel.

Returned a rental car evening before departure and staff did not come to airport with shuttle to bring me back to hotel. Had to take a cab. Hotel owes me $20 for cab fare.

This hotel was absolutely NOT what I expected. I have stayed in Wyndham hotels before and I have always been greeted with excellent and efficient hospitality consideration, and cleanliness of the hotel and my rooms. However, I experienced the complete opposite with this particular hotel. It was dirty, noisy, felt unsafe, and the staff was not attentive at all.

The hotel was clean, though. The breakfast was OK - just cereal, plain oatmeal, muffins and bagels. Shopping was nearby, with two malls within 10 minutes and a grocery store within that range too. There was often no one at the desk, and we had to wait about 10 minutes to get new working room keys (the other ones didn't work, and he said they couldn't be kept near a phone, which is a problem we almost never had in other hotels). I would have given it 2 stars, but it was dirt cheap. You get what you pay for here.

My room was so dirty, there were no other options. I actually had to go buy my own bedding. Our bathroom had mold and the walls were all so filthy. The whole place smelled. I was extremely disappointed and grossed out. My key stopped working almost every time I used it. No one was ever at the front desk. Never again!! Any way to receive a refund? Pics attached of my room and the graffiti outside the door.

First impression was poor because the lobby men's restroom was unavailable. Was advised to use ladies room which had no tp or paper towels. Then the parking lot and hall was unkempt and dirty. The room was stuffy and very badic. The bed was comfortable and clean.

The proximity to the airport is the ONLY advantage to this place. They're is zero security - the windows don't lock, the exit only doors are propped open at late hours of the night, there is only one staff member on premises after his andwhen they leave to shuttle someone to/from the airport NO ONE IS LEFT TO HANDLE EMERGENCIES. The room is not clean. We had living and dead bugs in our room. There is no elevator to the second floor. They don't clean your room during your stay. I don't they change the linens between guests, but I'm speculating on that one. I won't stay here ever again.

Airport shuttle was a guy in an SUV. The hotel was kinda shabby. The were cobwebs in the corners of my room and dust on the bed frame. The duvet and carpet were stained and the bed skirt was ripped. The shower area was patched with mismatched wall board and the toilet seat was the wrong shape for the toilet. It was also not very quiet. There were children running up and down the hall yelling and playing till almost 10 pm on a work night. All in all it was cheap and that’s about all I can say.

Nope we got very late past 11pm to airport, and there was no shuttle to hotel at the late. After I took taxi to the hotel, the front lobby guy did tell me no shuttle service after like 10pm. Room smells like cigarette/marijuana. but it was fairly clean other than that. nice conference room, very nice talking to my colleague about business there.

The shower head and faucet were barely hanging on and my husband was afraid they'd fall out of the wall. The room was clean and it was cheap. They came and picked us up from the airport even though it was passed their normal hours of doing so.. Just sorry to see it going downhill so soon.

The smell in the hallways and the room was unbearable. The carpet was saturated with dirt and stains. The walls were dirty and the bathroom smelled of perfume and cigarettes, with burn marks on the sink. This is the worst hotel I have ever stepped foot in. We were in our room long enough to book another hotel then went to the front desk to cancel our two-night stay due to the condition of this property. The guy at the front desk was nice and said he understands and would refund our two nights yet no refund has been issued. The pictures online are misleading and make this place look decent, which in reality it is absolutely disgusting.

I had a problem with noisy neighbors above children running and tumbling after midnight, notified staff don't know if they checked into it but when I notified him a second time they did change my room. Conditions were fair in the bathrooms.

Needs lots of updating. Had to use shoulder to open room door. Bathroom floor was so slippery we had to put towel down on floor. Exposed pipes in shower as well as cobwebs. Every minimal breakfast choices. Used coffees left in coffee maker. Bed was very comfortable.

It was my responsibility to tell them to clean the room, which I was never notified at check in. I told him that if he told me that at check in. They refused to bring up anything. After returning to the room I noticed a plastic bag taped and tied covering the smoke detector. God forbid there was a fire. I told the manager to remove it or get me another room. He send a man to the room to remove the ties and taped plastic covering the smoke detector. While removing it I took a photo of the smoke detector that was covered in plastic to show proof it was covered. The man told me I could not take any photos and demanded for me to show him my phone with my personal photos. I refused to show him my photos. He then told me that he would not leave the room. I told him if he did not leave my room, I would call the police. He then finally left. This place should be closed down.

Need lots of repairs & security is minimal. Would not recommend anyone use this hotel.

Horrible place. It looks totally rundown. It is across the street from a Juvenile Detention Center. There were corridor doors wedged open with a rock, where ANYONE could've walked in. Our room door didn't lock from the first try...i had to forcibly throw it. The bathroom looked clean, but the toilet seat and lid were broken, only resting over the bowl. And the window wouldn't lock. We literally feared for our lives. We checked out in the middle of the night, about 20 min. after arriving from the show we had gone to see.

I rarely leave reviews for hotels but feel this hotel misrepresents itself. The hotel needs serious remodeling. We ended up at another hotel down the road after seeing the room. On our way out, we noticed several of the emergency exits were locked, preventing exit.

The bed was fairly comfortable but the hotel room was filthy. Smelled horrible and very outdated.

Horrible place. Located next to a jail. Screens off windows. No elevator. Hotel dirty. Plastic bags over fire alarm in room. DID NOT FEEL SAFE!!!!! REFUSED to give refund. We left after 1 night of staying there. Had paid for 4 ahead of time. They were not willing to return any part of the money we put down. Had to use ironing board to secure main room door.

The staff werent too friendly. The paint on the bathroom was pewling off the walls and there was black mold on the shower ceiling.

I need a refund

Staff was fast to transfer me to another room as my air conditioner wasn’t working. Inconvenient to pack & move everything to a room not handicap accessible and I couldn’t shower.

My major concern was my room’s door did not lock when I left the room. It locked from the inside with the dead bolt so I felt safe enough to sleep. This is an old hotel. The room rate was great but I would not recommend to anyone to stay there. Carpeting is old and stained in hallway and room. Not the Wyndham hotels I have used before.

Nobody was at the desk when we checked in, a sign said they were on a run to the airport, and they were really out back. Nobody was there again when we went to check out. Breakfast was no more than sugared cereal and stale bagels. The only thing good there was the coffee.

Definitely in need of major updates

Room smelled musty bathroom had mold on the ceiling and there were mice droppings on the sheets.

I was staying here on an important business trip and I will never stay here again. The hallways were constantly littered with trash. The walls were covered in children’s drawings. All day and night there were constantly children running and screaming down the halls. My room started to smell like cigarette smoke, mind you this is a non-smoking hotel, and when I went to tell the receptionist they offered no help. This was a very upsetting stay and I was completely unsatisfied.

This place is awful, one of the worst I've stayed at in a very long time. It was dirty and the desk receptionist was also the shuttle driver so he would disappear for runs (not his fault, bad scheduling) and people would be stacked up in the lobby needing towels or a shuttle ride. Our room had 2 towels for a family of 4. My son spent went to desk to ask for towels and he said he'd go to housekeeping closet and bring them down. 45 minutes passed and no towels. He went back to desk and waited 40 minutes for him to return with a lobby full of other people. The place is also filled with other people staying who do not care at all about time of night or noise, and with no one running the place and asking them not to play music in hallways or run up and down all night it was awful. The hallways and room were dirty and in serious disrepair. I can't stress strongly enough, do not stay here.

Nothing like the pictures. Right next to the juvenile prison. Weren’t the friendliest or welcoming. Had to find another hotel because it just overall did not look clean!

Was in a bad area felt unsafe hotel was dirty and people hanging around outside at night and during the day that did not even belong at the hotel. Would not recommend and the worker was not helpful.

This is a great location to the airport if you're dropping off a car rental and checking in for an early flight. Outside of that, I would not recommend this hotel; it's in rough shape, and the single-person staff seemed to allow guests to be more rowdy and loud throughout the night.

I understand that we get what we pay, but we have stayed in hotels with low rates in much better conditions. It says breakfast and there are cupcakes and they run out of coffee at 7:00 am (breakfast is until 9 supposedly). The bathtub is nasty! It’s really close to the airport so the location is good! I wanted to spend just one night and it was ok for that purpose. But I don’t want to come back never again!

I would not stay there because the hotel has a mold/mildew issue and u have asthma. Expedia told baymont this fact and they wouldn’t refund my money. Don’t stay there, they are not honorable people.

Parents we having their kids run around the property in the street. The rooms smelled terrible. Rooms were not "100% smoke free" I smelled cigarette residue. The bed was dirty, bugs were on me I want my refund

Checking was fine. Overall the property is rough. Lipstick on a pig. Peeling paint in shower, the facility smelled musty, the air conditioning was off in our room so the air felt close and musty.

The room was relatively clean for a budget hotel and the bed was fine. The common areas are not clean and smell. Our room smelled of smoke (Pot) as most of the hotel did. The hotel called us after departure and accused us of smoking in the room, we don’t smoke.

Easy distance to the airport before a flight. Needs updates on the facilities.

For the most part, my stay was acceptable. Until I was invaded by ants. This made sleeping a challenge because I kept feeling things crawling on me.

The hotel itself needs a handyman for some areas but always has clean linen and clean bathrooms. The young men that work the reception are all very polite and professional.

The hotel staff was very help however, the hotel is old the room needs some refurbishment. Especially the bathroom walls and the tubs.

This property is literally a dump. Our room smelled, was dirty, with walls and ceiling damage. Carpet had stays everywhere. Bathroom was horrific. I have pictures to show condition.

Don’t stay at this hotel. Dirty, disgusting, and there was graffiti of swastikas on the pillars of the building as you walked in.

The breakfast was terrible. I would expect a min waffle maker orange juice, fruits and bagels. This vreakfast was reminiscent of the 1980s and 1990s. Barely any cerals, grammar school lunchroom apple juice, only apples, coffee type of a truckstop and instant oatmeal. The choice of breakfast was to either eat there or purchase breakfast on the outside. I chose the latter. In order to get to the 2nd floor room, you had to go through an interior back stairwell. The room smelled terrible, the bedding smelled stale and bad, and bathroom towels were thin and small. The view from the room was an industrial view and approx. 1/4 mile down the road from the hotel was a JUVENILE CORRECTION CENTER. The only good thing I can say about the hotel is that the price was reasonable compared to the other hotels within 5 miles. I would not stay here again.

Hotel rooms were dirty. Handprints on walls. Stains on floors. Towels were brown. Mold in the sinks. Swastikas on the exterior. Rooms smelled like wet towel. AC’s didn’t work properly so rooms were muggy and musty. Keys stopped working. Doors to exterior were left open. Breakfast included cereals and 2 muffins (for my family of 6). Flies in both rooms. Dead bugs on floor.

Very dirty, did not look like they cleaned. Holes in the walls, ac did not work, crack in the bath tub. Whole hotel smelled like cigarettes. This place should be condemned.

Needs some love...a little dark and dingey. Shuttle service is the receptionists car and can only hold one group at a time so plan ahead for getting to airport on time.

The receptionist was also the shuttle driver. This meant that several guests had to wait for up to 30 minutes to check into their rooms. Additionally, my room smelled of smoke and wet animal. The paint on the walls was peeling and there were many cracks in the drywall. I don’t think I can overstate how grossly maintenance has been deferred on this property. You would do yourself a favor by booking at motel six. Furthermore, the hotels shuttle appeared to be the receptionist’s personal vehicle.

Hotel room with too strong a musty smell

When we showed up the guy at the service desk was very rude and was not welcoming it was the same when we checked out the breakfast was a joke like 3 apples and the muffins were dried out so must have been really old as they were in wrappers the toilet seat was about to fall off the window was not locked and couldn't be and couldn't even been shut all the way and the door didn't shut either we had to make sure it was shut will never stay there again

I would never stay at this property again, and because of the obvious low standards of Baymont, would never stay a any other Baymont property. I should have been suspicious based on the price, good deal I suppose, if you have very low expectations.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel; not sure what I was thinking when I booked it (maybe bc it said free shuttle to airport); we had gnats in our room/restroom; it smelled weird; holes in the wall; it was not clean (spider webs); our shower curtain was dirty

Was not impressed with this property. I will be canceling my stay with them before our flight out on Sunday.

To deal with. Bathrooms are not. Still a reasonable place, with the right room, for one person who needs to hold over for 12 or less hours. Not recommended for more than a one night stay.

The drain in the tub didn't work very well so while I was showering the water filled up the tub part way. The shower curtain was pinkish orangish which we all know means that it hasn't been cleaned in quite a while

It was average. We had a room that was near the back of the hotel which we did really like cause we weren’t bothered. But we had a lot of big black ants get in which was gross. Also the ONLY cleaning guy they had didn’t fully clean the room as it should be as we found trash behind the night stands and around the room. Also very noisy, especially upstairs. The parking lot had a ton of kids running around playing and were throwing rocks and left a huge rock on parking spot. Thankfully I and hopefully no one else ran it over or hit it. And lastly it was advertised that they offered hot breakfast when there was no breakfast at all! You’d be lucky if they’re was coffee! They had to constantly keep making it for the guests instead of a machine that makes it and if there was coffee you’d be lucky if it was hot. So 2.5 stars sounds about right for this hotel. Let alone its right near Albany county jail.

Save your money and book some where else. Driver never answered the phone for my pick up at airport. I had to take a cab to get my truck in their parking lot which I was charged for.

Large, clean bed and plenty of hot water in the morning. Also, the airport shuttle was prompt and very handy.
