We got to the hotel at about 11pm. The front desk lady was AMAZING!!!! Very polite and welcoming! The room over all was great but I did have one issue and that was that I saw bugs in the bathroom when I woke up. Thankfully our stay was only a few hours and we didnt bring much in. I did take a picture for proof.

Everything was good just the bathroom door kept sliding across the floor and the tv network had issues later in the night probably due to the heavy winds and rain but overall very clean space. My favorite hotel and I will return.

I had some snacks along with me for dinner, but did go back to the lobby to see what else might be of interest. I just relaxed before my 7 minute drive back to the airport the next morning.

Our check in was easy, staff was so friendly and helpful. We got in late and the shuttle drove us to a restaurant to eat dinner! Amazing! Thank you for an overall positive experience!

I loved that the hotel was only 5 minutes from the airport terminal, and they offered a convenient shuttle service, not only to the airport, but to anywhere within a 2 mile radius. The complimentary breakfast was also well-done, and all the staff member were phenomenal! I also liked that there was real hand soap in my bathroom and good quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I got a room with a very creaky bed. It was comfortable and so was the room, but it got real annoying listening to it creak every time I tossed and turned. Everything else was great.

The hotel is very close to the airport but it is hidden behind another hotel. They have an indoor pool and the lobby is very open and friendly with TV's, fun chairs, foosball tables, and breakfast is included in your stay. Their soaps smell very good and the view is of the woods which is nice.

I skipped rating staff because I had no contact with anyone. Easy self parking, keyless entry, room was clean, comfortable and maintained well. In my experience, this has been the same since discovering and being guests at TRU (by Hilton) for years.

The staff here is great. Lobby is a comfortable place to meet up with friends. Breakfast is good. TV was larger than average. The room was tiny and had no comfortable chair. The was no closet or dresser.

It was really close to the airport, but you could not hear the airplanes. Nice to have free breakfast.

Be careful of signage for this hotel. We arrived around 3pm, never been here before. The Tru sign from the road was visible and then the next sign isn't so clear in the daylight hours. The part you can't see if the arrow telling you to keep going straight. Instead we pull in, par and unload. Wait in lobby to be seen by front desk only to find out that isn't the right hotel, its the building behind this one. OK, fine....but then when we go to the front desk at Tru, my husband cracks a joke about needing a treasure map to find the hotel and now that we have do we get a prize and the guy behind the counter says no, it's a rite of passage. Omg, you can't even apologize for the poor signage. We obviously aren't the only ones who have commented. Just rude!

The hotel was great, clean and nicely arranged. A word of caution if you take the shuttle. It picks you up where the long term bus picks up passengers, not where the sign says hotel shuttle. When you call, ask specifically where you should wait. Everything else went well and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff has been kind, patient, and genuinely caring—especially toward both me and my dog, which I deeply appreciate. The hotel is spotless, quiet, and surrounded by such a beautiful, calming atmosphere. This stay has brought me a sense of peace I really needed. Truly a wonderful experience all around.

Close to airport, shopping (if you have a vehicle) No on site restaurant but snacks are available in the lobby along with a few microwaveable meals. Breakfast was ok.

The rooms were huge, and very clean. The breakfast was amazing and the kids loved the pool. We booked multiple rooms for a soccer tournament and it was close to many restaurants, the sports facility and across the street from the airport.

The hotel was not clean and my room was never cleaned. I ran out of clean towels and toilet paper. The fitenss center was absolutely filthy. Such as shame I will not stay there again. I told the Assitant manager who seemed un impressed that it was gross!

The reception tab the desk was professional and friendly. However, the room was 'basic'. Unfinished fixtures (one curtain rod bracket at one end, but not the other). Orange extension cord to a light - a blind that is down and won't budge. Generally gave the impression of being unfinished well. Bed sheets crumpled and bed coverlets cheap.

Tru by Hilton is my first option no matter what city i visit. Traveling with my 10 year old we loved the lobby with all the games and the Foosball tables. We'll visit again soon!

This is by far our favorite hotel to book before an early flight in Albany. The staff is great. The property (including the room) is always spotless. The fitness center is perfect for a quick workout. We won’t stay anywhere else.

rooms were very clean. couldn't get our tv apps to work (no youtube tv for us to log into) so we ended up watching on our laptop, but live tv worked fine, we just couldn't get the channel we wanted to.

Kind and competent staff even with a 1 am roll in. Sheets were soft and room was clean with laminate floors.

1. In the middle of the night, I wanted a drink of water, but there were no cups in the room. I had to get dressed and walk down to the lobby to find cups. 2. The large screen TV looked nice, but the WiFi was extremely slow. I waited 30 sec after each press of a button for the TV to respond. I ended up watching from my cell phone.

The front staff could have been more attentive - did not mention some essential info during check in. The rooms could have been cleaner - a few hairs in the shower.The other issue was not the hotels fault - we had noisy people nearby who were playing music and talking quite loudly from 10 pm to around 2 pm.

But no micoweve in the room. No coffe maker. No shower cap.

This was a quick business trip and needed a good comfortable hotel near the airport. Tru was excellent on all the important points. Extra clean, great service with a smile, extremely comfortable bed with a quiet room, shower was spacious with great water pressure and temperature control. Breakfast was above average for a free buffet. The cheese omelette was delicious and fresh fruit. Free shuttle to airport that was available on demand. Favorite business hotel for Albany airport area.

We were awakened in the middle in the night to people trying to enter the room. Talking to them through the door, it was apparent that they were assigned our room. They left after learning this room was occupied. The next morning I talked to staff person at the desk. He laughed, telling me that there were several wrong room assignments last night. The software was having a problem, but I would only be billed for my time there. Thanks for that. I will not be back.

I tried to cancel my reservation booked for 10/15-10/16. I went through Expedia & was told you wouldn’t refund my money. Person at front desk said she” wanted nothing to do with it” What kind of person says that??? Actually have heard nothing good about this hotel! I will be putting a review on social media & I have over 500,000 followers

The wallpapers peeling in the hallways and stained carpets. The room is nice, but not cleaned well, with dust under cabinet and edge of beds, and pillows were flat. The bathroom has stains in the shower and on the wall around the sink. On a positive note, the entire staff was very polite and the common area was clean and professional looking. The gym was clean and the continental breakfast fresh with good selections.

The staff was great and location was convenient but the room was not what we expected. While there was plenty of space there wasn’t any seating and the shower was great for my parents but the way it was water leaked all over the floor. There aren’t many towels so we had to use fresh towels to clean it up. Also the shade in the room didn’t work so it was very dark and not mi h lighting on the room.

On the way, we noticed heavily stained hallway carpet and peeling wallpaper—surprising given that an earlier email described this as a “brand-new” property. The third-floor room was cleaner, but the same animal odor seemed to linger through the night. Front desk service was courteous, but housekeeping and maintenance fell well short of expectations, and the “brand-new” description felt misleading. This stay did not meet basic standards for cleanliness or condition. Management needs to address deep cleaning of pet rooms, carpet replacement, and wall repairs before calling this property new.

We found the staff very accommodating. The hotel was very nice and convenient to the airport. My big complaint is the deceitful way the parking is listed on line. Most places provide free parking if you stay there during your trip. There isn't anything on the web page about a $10 a day fee for parking. I will not be staying there again or recommending your facility.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly, which I appreciated. However, my overall experience wasn’t the best because the WiFi never worked during my stay. Since I was traveling from another country, I had to rely on my cellular provider and ended up paying extra just to stay connected to the internet. This was a big inconvenience and definitely affected my stay.

The only complaint was the noise level. There were sports teams staying there and they were loud. The doors didn't block the sound at all. Hotel was lovely and the staff was friendly. The property backs up to the woods and the leaves were just starting to change colors. It would have been beautiful in a week or so.

Recommended. Interesting hotel, brand new, geared to efficiently serving travelers' needs. Arrived unnecessarily late, however, because email from property said GPS not accurate and then email gave a way to find it. Actually GPS had right location after all. Needed to know there are 2 hotels with same name within a few miles of each other. Key is the word airport in name. That will get you there just fine. Accessible shower really accessible. Will stay there again.

Everyone was very helpful and 24 airport shuttle was wonderful. Only drawback was the rooms aren't carpeted. That means you hear every step and suit case roller. It was perfect except for the noise.

We checked into this hotel because it was close to the airport and it seemed like a newer hotel. I knew that the hotel did not have amenities, but it did look simple and clean. I should’ve trusted the reviews that said not to stay here. Reject into the first room I believe it was room 335 and the second we opened the door it smelled like wet dog. It was so musty and gross. We called and they told us to come back down so we loved our luggage back downstairs. We were then given room 327 which was just as bad. At this point, we realize that we were not going to get a nice room that didn’t smell awful. Thank God we were only there overnight. I would 100% not recommend this hotel stay not even for an overnight. The hotel is over five years old and it feels like it’s 20 years old. Paying close to $200 is a rip off.

I picked this hotel not only for the usual hotel amenities, but mainly because they have free shuttle services. The young man who drove me was very friendly and polite. If I’m ever in Albany again I will definitely be staying here.

Location and convenience to airport was good, but wow, it’s really overpriced. Must be a property in transition, doors that let in light, flashing lights in room. Odd.

Staff picked us up at the airport promptly and in a friendly manner, even at 2:30 AM.

Disappointed

Very disappointed this time, where they left us without cleaning our room for 4 of the 5 days of our stay. Breakfast quality have lowered this time to a level it makes difficult to recommend this time

Got very sick from the breakfast(omelet and sausage patty) Sunday morning.

Really liked the near by walking path. However, the lack of service at the hotel made the stay less than enjoyable. Left for a day so the room could be made up, came back and nothing was done. Had to go to the desk to request clean towels and then was only given one set.

I travel quite a bit, so it was nice to stay in a newer, clean hotel with friendly staff. I made a note to post a good review when I got home.

Excellent service

It’s hard for me to explain, it’s very clean. Towels are hard tho. Besides that we made the mistake and pulled into Hilton Garden which is in the front of tru. The person behind that desk was a bit rude. Since tru is behind them, I’m sure it happens often.

Clean quiet comfy room. Great gym. Access to running hiking trails. Great spot. Breakfast is average at best. Coffee awful.

I arrived after 1am. The staff was so pleasant and caring after my long day of travel. I would definitely stay there again.

Quick access to the hotel and in a safe and clean area! The entire staff was friendly and helpful but special thanks to George who went above and beyond. The rooms were clean and quiet. The hotel offers transportation to and from the hotel at any time, no need to wait a long time or schedule a time. They also will provide rides within a 3 mile radius! Highly recommend if staying in Albany

arrived late. check in was easy. unfortunately there was no shower soap as the hotel was all out. not ideal for having smelly 12 year old boy shower.

Convenient and cost-efficient stay to attend the races.

This property is perfect when you have something to attend and just need a clean easy quiet place to stay. If they keep the bathrooms updated and clean it will be useful for years to come. The young staff are efficient and want to do well. They have people skills and know what they are doing.

Other improvements that could be made regarding comfort: there were no cups provided in our bathroom. There was space or luggage rack to open a suitcase (there was a small bench but it was not deep enough to hold a suitcase). Food: ok; would have liked more options such as muffins/danish Service: front desk staff very pleasant and accommodating!

Everyone was helpful and nice

The room was very clean, the lobby and other areas were very nice and well kept. The outside lounge area with the fireplace was a nice place to relax in the evening. The staff was extremely good and amazing. The little shop area with drinks and snacks was very reasonably priced.

Was clean, comfortable, and surpassed expectations. The lobby is a lovely place to sit and the breakfast is great - eggs, fruit, pancakes, oatmeal, cereal. Rooms are spacious and up to date. Would definitely return. They have a gym and pool that look nice but I didn’t use either during my stay.

We stayed here for a sports tournament. It is close to the tournament site. The hotel is newer and clean. Our room was a little small, but get the job done. There are things to do in the lobby and a small breakfast offered.

This property was very nicer maintained and quiet. During our stay they were sealing cracks in the parking lot, so a large portion of the lot was not accessible. We had to park off site and walk back around 1am despite being told a shuttle would come get us. Staff didn't seem to care about this inconvenience too much and although they had no control over it, it was handled poorly.
