Clean, comfortable room for extended stay. Quiet

When we arrived, there were multiple hairs on the bathroom floor and in the shower. The next day, our room was never serviced despite being out all day. I reported the issue to the front desk that evening and again at checkout the following morning. After our stay, I emailed the manager to share my concerns. Her response (after my second email) was that there was no record of me ever reporting a problem, which is simply not true. The cleanliness issues were frustrating, but the lack of communication, follow-up, and accountability was even more disappointing. Every hotel can have mistakes, how they handle them is what matters. Go somewhere who cares a little more about customer service!

Great location. We were roughly 15 min max to Isle of Palms State Park. Easy access to any restaurant or store. The breakfast was great. They had take away boxes which was really handy as my husband got sick while we were there. All the staff were very pleasant, but a shout out to the breakfast cook who helped me. ( Nothing to do with the hotel) We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Perfect for visiting with family and having a full fridge and small kitchen was awesome. Breakfast was really nice and we also loved the grill on site as well as the pool for the kids.

The breakfast was really good, quite diverse.And the staff were very helpful in helping me feel a to go container. This swimming pool was great, but the three reclining chairs were all broken.They were usable only in a total recline. There was some sort of motor sound probably from the roof since I was on the fifth floor in room 510. It would start and go for about five minutes.Ten minutes and then it would turn off.But constantly on and then off, it would start up every twenty minutes or so. I spoke with staff, the mechanical engineer guy was going to check it out, but I just dealt with it. Otherwise I truly enjoyed my stay. Every staff member was wonderful and smiling and kind.

The wife and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was clean and space and actually had a lot of storage which isn't super common in most hotels nowadays, even extended stay ones. The staff was super nice and accommodating. We didn't get the chance to eat the breakfast at the hotel due to late wakeup times but when we saw it on the way out it looked and smelled delicious

Our room was clean and comfortable, the omelet bar was great, and my family enjoyed the pool area. The property is quiet, family friendly, and located in a great area. I wish they actually opened the bar area. It was NEVER open. We would stay again.

The staff was very helpful. In fact, they went beyond my expectations in helping me access documents on my e-mail in the business center. The breakfast was excellent and the fitness center was adequate.

Location of this property was fantastic for our visit purposes and family function in Mt Pleasant. We enjoyed access to a variety of breakfast options and the liberal availability of the common areas for our 4 night stay The overly chemical aroma of room freshener was cloying and as windows did not open, the atmosphere in the room sometimes felt thick. The counteract was extra AC - not a great option.

Checked in to learn that I no longer had the king suite that I paid for but a handicap king studio. Only received a $15 credit per night for the inconvenience. I chose this hotel because of the suite room. The staff offered to let me cancel my reservation with no penalty, knowing darn well all the hotels were full. The worst customer service that I have ever been a part off. Never expected this to happen in Charlestonn.

Hotel is nice, new, and in a quiet neighborhood. Breakfast options were very good, including an omelet station. The only bad thing was our room was not serviced by housekeeping at all during our 3-night stay. Their policy is to service rooms every 2 days. Otherwise a very good hotel. Plenty of free parking.

Not much. Breakfast closed at 9am. No one on vacation is up that early. There was no help with luggage. Had to carry mine in and out. No information was provided about anything. Our room was not cleaned after our first night.

Very friendly staff that accomodated all of our requests and have excellent information about area dining locations. The recommendations were spot on. The continental style breakfast was above average and made omelettes for my wife. She was a happy girl! The room was large, clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking with no issues at all. Upon my next trip to Charleston, I will be staying there again. Maybe a restaurant on the premises?

Great location and home base from which to explore. About 15-20 min drive to all the historic Charleston attractions, Sullivan's Island, Sham Creek, Patriots Point. Less than half an hour to Folly Island Pier. Good breakfast with a variety of options. Super friendly staff. Front desk always helpful and attentive. Brandon was great and put my mind at ease about a charge. Hotel was quiet in general. Area was also very quiet and we enjoyed walking around the new neighborhood. There's a park and small pond with benches just steps away perfect for drinking your coffee and birdwatching. After the Holidays we did notice more construction vehicles moving in the area that's being developed right across the street from the hotel. Some were driving too fast for such a residential area so be extra careful as you turn out of the hotel's parking lot.

The room was clean, and everything worked fine but it was lacking any measuring devices to cook with. No measuring cups/spoons. Just the barest of essentials in the kitchen.

I stay here when in town I love the location it’s very clean and quiet and they go above and beyond with service especially the morning breakfast crew and set up it’s great!

The room felt outdated and unkept. There was a big red stain in the carpet and there were 3 trash cans in the kitchen that felt crowded so I ended tucking away two of them away in the closet. Also the lady that was at the reception the Thursday evening I checked in 12/11 was rude.

It was a nice stay. We had a big spacious corner room. We didn’t eat there. It’s a nice location. Right off the main drag. We’ve stayed here many times and always have good luck. We come down 3-4 times a year.

This is a nice hotel in a safe area. Very convenient to downtown Charleston without staying in the hustle and bustle- parking was great and in a well lit area. Customer service was excellent. Everybody was warm and welcoming. The room was very nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the complementary breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

Location is excellent. Staff was also very nice, although it was IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone at the front desk (by phone) prior to our stay to ask a few questions. The big problem at this Hyatt House is Hyatt. What a dull, drab, uninspired property! From the outside it looks like a municipal building or hospital. The "decor" (if you can call it that) is drab, beige and adorned with fake modern wall art. The only redeeming space was the breakfast area, which was nice (although it did take half an hour for our omelettes to be prepared). Our room (not a suite) didn't even have a sitting chair – and the lamp between the two queen beds didn't have dual settings, was too bright and the shade was also damaged. Nondescript furnishings looked like they were pulled from some warehouse and the brown wall to wall carpeting (room and hallways) felt drab and out of date, even though this is not an old hotel. Honestly, we couldn't get out of there fast enough after our one night vacation getaway. In a city as stunningly beautiful as Charleston, a brand like Hyatt needs to do a way better job. I suggest going down the street to Hyatt Place (we went there first by mistake). It's so much nicer. Better yet, choose a hospitality brand that demonstrates more commitment to design quality and an uplifting guest experience.

The room was clean. The breakfast was great I was so surprised to see that they offered omelets with the included breakfast.

This hotel was nice, at the time of booking we did not know it was a pet friendly hotel. Unfortunately with animal allergies this was not the ideal place for us. There were dogs every where. Maybe guests can be instructed to leave pets out of the dining areas. So others may dine without worrying about going into anaphylaxis. I think it is a small but most critical request.

Our room was clean, a little odd to have a mini fridge and a large fridge. The shower head needs a little cleaning or something, it sprayed in different directions. The staff was friendly and remembered us from our last stay. The hotel is close to shops and restaurants.

Everything was great. I would like to see you offer a complimentary bottle of water to your guest.

The staff at he hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. Property is in a good location to go into Charleston, Patriots Point, Isle of Palms etc.....room was clean and in good condition. Outdoor salt water pool is nice though it would be nice if there was a hot tub. Would stay here again on future trips.

This hotel was extremely clean and well located. I enjoyed being able to walk to shopping and it was a short drive to Isle of Palms, Charleston, and the Shipyard. My only complaint is the continental breakfast.. it was lacking to say the least. Also, on Saturday/Sunday, the breakfast doesn’t begin until 7am. Since we were there for baseball and had to be at the field at 7am, it didn’t work for us! But otherwise, very friendly staff and very clean!

Poor customer service. My family arrived at 9pm and checking in, the front desk was not helpful or welcoming. Bathroom faucet was loose and broken. Included breakfast was on the lower end of quality.

Liked that this hotel was clean, parking free and readily available. Quiet location while still being only ten minutes to the beach or Shem Creek. The complimentary breakfast was nice too.

Nice hotel for family weekend trip! Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean. Pool was clean. Parking was good. This was a convenient location to Mt. Pleasant shopping and food. Close enough to our favorite beach stop. And close enough for a quick trip into Charleston. We will be back!

My stay was excellent after I finally got checked in. Hotel didn’t have my reservation. I checked in late and the desk clerk was not the most knowledgeable. She finally got a hold of her manager and they were able to work it out. Not happy with Hotels.com.

Whether positive or constructive, reviews matter to me and I chose this property based upon customer feedback on various platforms. Overall, I must say that I was not disappointed. The staff was welcoming, property was well cleaned in all areas, beds were comfortable, area was quiet and in a relatively nice community. There was ample space for parking. In addition, shopping, dining as well as the beaches were all within close proximity. I was not disappointed and would definitely recommend this establishment to others.

Everything was as advertised a great place to stay

Stayed at this hotel several teams and it is always a good experience. Rooms are spacious, clean and fully equipped. Short drive to the beach, close to many restaurants, very central in Mount pleasant.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was quiet, comfortable, and clean. Our suite was so nice and spacious. The only things we didn’t enjoy were how dirty the pool was. So many thing floating in it….hair balls kept touching us, tissues and bandaids on bottom of pool, it seems like it hadn’t been vacuumed out in awhile. Breakfast also was a let down. Instead of letting patrons make their own waffles they pre made them and were hard and gross by the time we got to them. We did enjoy the pre packaged pastries and toast and yogurt.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was clean, quiet, and the service was friendly. The breakfast was very good with variety each morning and it's in a great location. Wish the extra blankets were a bit softer and that their toiletries had a less generic scent, but overall it was a good experience.

Overall it was a nice hotel. Wasn’t really impressed with the breakfast. The carpets need to be replaced. Other then that it’s a good location. The staff is helpful and friendly.

It was a peaceful stay and very convenient to have a little kitchen in room along with a breakfast bar in morning . Great little gym facility as well .

Room had a funny smell but all and all it was a good stay.

The entire time we were there.We had one person say hi to us that worked at the hotel and that was doing check in. The free breakfast was horrible when you use powdered water eggs. Sausage patties were often burnt to a crisp. Robes no longer provided for suites. Parking is easy and the bed is soft. Location. Is not convenient because you have to fight traffic with a non traffic light intersection.

Overall this hotel was great I will give it a 9 out of 10. Only because the hallway carpet on my floor smelt a lil funky and people had their dogs. But I get it. It’s a pet friendly hotel and if I had fur babies I would want them to travel with me too😉

Only reason I am giving a 4 star for cleanliness is due to an area of the living room that had a wet carpet the entire stay. Staff were extremely understanding looking into the issue.

Hotel was very clean and contemporary. They provided buffet breakfast each morning. It was typical, but could add making your own waffles. The housekeeping service provided almost daily linen service which nowadays is unheard of. Kudos for the and us! The hotel was located in Mt Pleasant, a more up-scaled area and was only about 20 minutes by car to downtown Charleston.

Staff was very courteous. The rooms are beautiful and clean and ours even had full kitchen, dishes, and a dishwasher! Loved it! I appreciated that parking was always available which is a huge plus when you're coming back from town later in the evening. Laundry services were free when we stayed and the morning breakfast is delicious! They have a custom omelette option. We had a great stay and will definitely be back to this hotel. Thanks!!

I thought rooms were cleaned every other day, but was incorrect, it’s every 4 days. I spoke to a nice gentleman named Brandon and he had our room cleaned for us on day two. The breakfast was great and the gentleman cooking omelette s was wonderful. Our room was spotless, comfortable and quiet. I would stay here again.

Property was in a great area with lots of shopping, dining and walking trails. Staff was excellent ! I loved that you could check in via phone and receive a text message when room is ready. This is a perk as I was able to check in early after a long travel. Great hotel experience !

The room we stayed in was the best room we have ever had at a hotel. Very nice facility and close proximity to dining and shops. We did not bring our dog but having the option is a huge plus.

Very good area for a tourist- was a good home base for us to explore the city, beach, and state parks. The hotel was quiet so business people and families can get a good nights rest. The employees ("J") were welcoming and informative.

The hotel has a fresh new feeling inside and out. The multiple conversation areas throughout the lobby was for me the best feature.

The pictures must have been from years ago because all the facilities I mentioned haven’t been used for years. He fire pit which looked so nice on Expedia had no ricks, and was rusty from no use. The outside furniture was piled up on the side of the building. The best part of this hotel was the Buffett breakfast and the made to order omelettes!!! But if your thinking of going you may want to think twice!!
