Clumps of long black hair were found in our room. There was some sort of unknown moisture on the toilet seat when we came into the room (and it wasn't cleaning liquid type of moisture all over the seat, it was an isolated spot in the back that looks like drops of something -- someone using it before we got in there, maybe?). The carpet in the hallway was gross. The bed was at least clean. The worst part was that despite the fact that the entire motel was not fully booked, they put us in a room next to someone with a dog and the dog would not stop whimpering and clawing at the door and barking until at least 1am (we got back to our room around 11pm and for at least 2 hours we had to deal with that until I called the front desk to complain). The dog also started barking before 8am. I heard the door opening/closing multiple times and I think the dog was left in the room alone, which is against the motel policy.

The hospitality of the staff was unmatched and excellent!!! I would highly recommend this location for this fact. The cleanliness, comfortability, and location was also the best for me!!! I traveled there for one night only with my rough collie and we were both welcomed and highly accommodated for our stay. There PET FRIENDLY information listed online was true information. I cannot praise them enough for the peace of mind they gave me.

The staff is wonderful The value is terrible. I admire hotels that accommodate dogs, but I bought two cans of febreze to try to make sure I didn't smell like a dog going to class, and I failed. There are no refrigerators or chairs any of the rooms, so if you are there for school or business you smell bad and you have nowhere to work and you have to eat out. If you want a cold soda, 20 oz cost you $4.50. You will save a lot of money on your trip if you spend 20 more dollars per night and have a refrigerator and a chair so you can work.

Bare necessities. No refrigerator or microwave. No furnishings other than a very simple small table and 2 wooden chairs. No tissues. No foodservice other than vending machines. Only insight into cleanliness was a live bug crawling across the floor.

The staff and the attentive they were The food bugs. They were on the dresser didn't see them until the day I left but we had no food there only water.

Love it here, plenty of places to eat near by gas stations you name it…. only 30 minutes from the city 1hr with traffic it’s always a great stay

The young lady when I checked in was just so amazing and accommodating as was the young lady when I checked out. The problem was neither of them. The room was not clean it was mold in the shower as well as dirt and hair the bathroom was just horrible. I could not and would not ever use the shower.

Clean hotel and room, but it was very minimal. Nothing luxurious except the price. Room had no hair dryer. Free coffee in the morning was actually very good.

I had a decent stay. The room did not have a refrigerator or microwave, but it was clean and served my purposes for an overnight stay.

Room and bedding was clean, AC unit buttons were broken, the entire hotel corridor smelled like a smoke chamber. Even the bathroom was full of smoking odor.

The tub was clogged, but the owner/staff told me that he could not help, because this is Motel, not Hotel, and it is normal for a motel to have a clogged tub. I had to take a shower with my feet under dirty water…disgusting.

Staff was very helpful and polite, though the room I stayed in (201) had ants everywhere, mostly in the corner of the room next to the bed.

It was a safe decent place to stay. The outside garbage cans were always overflowing, I stayed 3 nights and not once did housekeeping clean the room or at least check if I needed more towels. I had to go downstairs and get more toilet paper and towels. The front desk staff was very nice. I wish the room had a fridge and microwave. It was hard to find an available plug outlet to charge my phone. The plugs on the lamps were so loose I used a zip tie to hold the plug in. It is a very basic motel, at least it had queen beds. You get what you pay for.

The hotel itself was wonderful. Super clean prolly the nicest Motel 6 I have even visited. The gym was right by front desk and elevator. Bed were comfy and walking distance to food, H Mart and lots of stores in immediate one block walking radius including Wendy’s, McDs, Chipotle, a 420 dispo, food court at H Mart and a Hot Pot place.

There was construction (flooring) going on above me for 2 nights. 1st night went on till 10:30. I called front desk, there response : they will stop at sleeping time 10. 2nd night pounding started at 7 .I went up 3 floor to talk with workers, 9:30 2nt

Rude staff greeting us. Left the desk many times. Rude to our booking company when they called to change the reservation date. Room had no fridge, no microwave, nor even a towel hook. Broken bath faucet. Rickety elevator. Tight room with poor layout. Makes me not want to use this chain again.

Place was run run down in the middle of an upscaled neighborhood - I assumed it would be much better especially with an 8/10 rating. THERE WAS A DOG BARKING ALL NIGHT TWO DOORS DOWN! And one guest had an ankle monitor. Never again.

This place is great at cleanliness. That’s the issue here. If I leave a bad comment, the property manager will probably not let stay there again so I’ll save that story for the date it happened. I stayed here again cause it’s very affordable and clean. Had to call the motel 6 customer service when I stayed there in May

First off,it looked nothing like it did online. Online it looks bright,clean and safe. It was none of those things. There were sketchy looking people everywhere. The hallway reeked of Marijuana. You could hear people in their rooms and dogs barking. Upon entering the room,the cabinet with the sink looked like I built it. It wasn't even a cabinet at all. I don't know whst it was. The bed was small and the linens rumpled like some had been laying on it. It was a scary place. I immediately left ,hot on my phone and made a reservation elsewhere. No way were we staying there. We did not feel safe at all. It is totally miss represented online. It was more like a hotel you rent by the hour. I called them back,told them of my problem and asked for my money to be returned. Of course, the desk person said he would turn it over to the manager. They have never called me or returned my money. We DID NOT FEEL SAFE THERE WHATSOEVER! DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS HOTEL.

Slow service, staff shortages, tedious parking requirements, ridiculous tiny little soap bars , bad water pressure, bad shower head , just had a terrible one day and left for the last four days of my stay with another motel.

Great staff. Clean room. Quiet for a solo traveler. Location situated between tons of restaurants and shopping, right next to the main streets in town. Would absolutely stay again. Walls were a bit thin tho and recommend staying on the third floor so footsteps don't keep you awake.

Be was comfortable, but the door in the bathroom was literally peeling off, the towels had stains, there was dog or pet hair all over the carpet upon entering the room. Definitely needs to lower their pricing. Worth about 40$ a night.

The carpeting is old and needed to be swept. There were no amenities in the room other the the television and the ac/heat If you just need to cheap place to start it is adequate for that purpose but at best, I’d rate it a 5.

Very noisy due to the thin walls, thin floors, hardwood (fake) floors, no carpeting in room, no soundproofing whatsoever. Extremely shabby and bare-bones rooms: a bed, nightstands, a sad table and a couple banquet chairs, an ok tv, a noisy window heat/ac unit, an alarmingly small bathroom. Do not stay here. Read that again. Do not stay here.

Place is a dump. I checked out after an hour and got a room at the Best Western next door.

The rooms are extremely clean and smell wonderful. The staff is excellent. Parking is good but the road leading to the Motel has some significant potholes you should probably try to avoid.

The inside of my room was clean, but we could not change our tv because we had no remote when we first got there. so they brought us a remote but it did not want to become programmed so we gave up on programming it and just watched the same channel. When I first got in to check into my hot tub room, the gentlemen at the front desk took literally about 20 minutes to get my room situated and get the hot tub room that i paid for. We did in fact end up getting our room after a long wait for myself and the poor man who waited patiently behind me for his room. The hall way on the first floor was a horrible mess. I looked like there was fur, and I mean tons of fur all over the carpet, along with a bunch of crushed up kibble all over the carpet in from of two particular rooms. It was not very aesthetically appealing and looked dirty and unkept. If it wasn't for the room having a clean hot tub I think we would have ran for the hills.

Plaxe sucks. No microwave no fridge. Room was nasty. Ask to have it cleaned and they said staff off. We cleaned it ourselves. Ants in the room. Was a quick cheep stop for downtown Chicago. Should have stayed in the Laqunti or Hilton next door. My bad was to pick a place with my 3 and 9 year old. Wifes allergies are acting up.for dogs. Now in Niagara Falls and she sick.for the room. Dont go here unless your looking for a cheep place to stay. Buyer beware....

The people above me were extremely loud the whole night;stomping ,moving furniture, running around.It was unbearable .I asked the front desk to move my room.They refused to move me.On top of that, the bed was in bad shape and sagging in the middle.Terrible stay there.

You get what you pay for. Not very clean. Staff was somewhat helpful. I was going to check out but staff member told me he wasn’t sure if I get my money back. They took my money up front. I stayed 11 days.

Inconvenient laundry hours. Close at 10. They will lock your belongings in the laundry room til the next day if you don't get your load out before 10. Quiet time I can see that, but the moment you walk from the bathroom to the main room, you'll get a phone call from staff telling you to bring the noise down when you aren't doing anything loud at all. Place is getting worse and worse, potholes everywhere! Only stay if you're trying to save money, but you see why. This place should never be over 50 on its best season as of right now.

On the positive side the room was very clean and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was also very nice!! I know this is a no frills motel but wow!! What little furniture there was, well, I've seen nicer stuff on the side of the road on trash day! As for amenities...there were absolutely none!!! Not even a little shampoo bottle!! The remote didn't have a back & the batteries were held in by tape. I arrived a little less than an hour early & after a long drive I asked if I could check in early (about 45 minutes) of course they said yes...for a $10 fee!!! Which I did. I know the price I paid $52. (+ the $10 early fee) was kind of a bargain, but not for the quality of this motel.

It’s a very low-end hotel, to the point where they don’t have a fridge or microwave in the room. The walls are fairy thin and the bed wasn’t comfortable. But, it was very cheap and the front desk staff was very pleasant and courteous.

I made a mistake with dates, and having paid the money, I couldn’t cancel or change dates without being charged extra. Ended up losing the money I paid for a room. I’d rather pay a little extra and stay somewhere else if you’re not willing to accommodate mistakes.

Had a pipe burst in the middle of the night flodding the bathroom. The gentleman at the front desk was quick to help & got me into another room within minutes, so thos was good. This was at 2 AM so I wasn't exactly fully awake let alone amused after a 7 hour drive & thos water adventure so I just went into the room, dropped my belongings and crawled into the new bed. Upon later glance with the lights on this room was absolutely filthy disguisting. While I am greatful there was another room, the cleanliness was very very poor in addition to I was right behind the front desk. It was so loud come 5 AM I couldn't think straight. I cant help but wonder if there wasn't a better room that was empty. Times are financially tough for millions of people, myself included so I took a chance on a cheaper option for traveling. Never again. I'll continue to pay the extra for 3 star or higher hotels.

My room had no tv. The shower head did not work properly. When I presented the issues to the front desk, the Young man on 12/15 took my room info, told me he would be there to meet me and check it out. It has been over an hr. He hasn't shown, he is no where to be seen, i have called and nothing. This is ridiculous.

I tried to check in 15 minutes early and employee tried to charge me extra . When I returned at exactly 3pm, there as 6 people in line. Waited over 30 minutes to get checked in. I believe owners should be lineate a little on check in. The clerk also said my car would be towed if I didn’t give her my license plate number.

Supposed to be nonsmoking facility, but the 2nd floor hallway wreaked horribly of pot and tobacco. So bad, had to call and discuss the situation with the desk. Minimally helpful. Like that they are pet friendly, my dog did well there. Coffee available daily from 0600-1000 only. Not sure if I would stay there again.

The carpet was dirty and the lobby could use some TLC. The room was clean but please loose the top cover it has a bad reputation for not being cleaned. Please add a small refrigerator and microwave in these rooms please!

Left after about an hour and didn't stay at the hotel. While in the shower the desk receptionist came in with key with a guest thinking the room was available, then called the room to see if it was occupied. This was all within an hour of checking in. Noticed a gross ball of hair and dust on the floor. Walked out and didn't bother asking for refund.

My room was untidy, no toilet rolls, hairs all over from bed to sink, towels, and the toilet seat. I called for attention, and someone shows up just to take pictures and never attended to the situation. Besides, this facility together with Expedia could not finger out exactly who was responsible to honor my request to cancel my 2nd night for a refund. Very bad experience with both Expedia and Motel 6, Naperville.

We weren't allowed to stay here with our service dog without out a certificate. When I explained that there is no certificate, the staff called me a liar.

Absolute pit of a hotel and I've seen some bad hotels. This one is only bested by the hotel that still had crap in the toilet, literally a crap in the toilet... dont save here, its cheap but not worth it.

Needs a lot of efforts on cleaning. Corridor carpet and elevator were very dirty. Bathroom and floor dirty. Bes sheet might not have been changed.

Roaches all around you in the room. The problem is that they get into your luggage and then spread to your home.

Could contact the local police department. and kept it for a month their cameras at Portillos , I had to go DMV to apply for new license and social security card My Doctor had filled out paperwork to prove I was not an alcoholic or addicted to drugs,So they should be liable for a lawsuit Contract Naperville police I filed a police report, Officer Heikes ,The police department and Emt are there almost every night, She even stole a plant of mine and told me I can’t have back , got pictures

It is basically the price you pay is the quality you get. We were not given the room we paid for. There were basically no amenities. The floor was dirty, the elevator was extremely dirty, sticky and stinky. I wouldn’t recommend it

I made 2 phone calls before arrival and met with different staff during check in and check out and they were all helpful and very friendly. The hotel itself needs repairs and cleaning and there was a stench of weed throughout the building despite clear signage that it's not allowed on the property. It was a cheap place to sleep during travel but I wouldn't recommend staying longer than necessary.

The rooms are clean and the place is close to a lot of restaurants. The staff is always nice and courteous.

Everything was great. We were able to walk over to a good Chinese restaurant and ate outside with our dog. The only negative was that three different times I saw three different people standing out in the parking lot with phones in hand. I hope they were just waiting for food delivery rather than any nefarious?

When I arrived, the hotel looked a bit spooky from the outside. Although well lit, the place looks dark and isolated from the brightly illuminated business on Diehl and Naperville Roads. I didnt loke that my chair and table was not cleaned. My bathroom had paint bubbled up and peeling off the wall in large sections, I mean, enough to get noticed. Upon entering my room, the mattresses was detached from the base and a bit asay from the wall. I couldnt make sense of how housekeeping personnel could not have noticed my bed as they walked out of the room. Bed clean and neat. Pillows are very cheap should be upgraded to firmer ones. The price was great. The hallway floor was quite dirty. Hotel was quiet. As I entered through the main entrance, there was a man smoking at the front front. Staff should be more alert to advice guests that in Illinois, the Smoke-Free Illinois Act prohibits smoking within 15 feet of any public place or place of employment entrance, exit, window, or ventilation intake. Businesses must also post "No Smoking" signs at all entrances and remove ashtrays from prohibited areas. The law covers all forms of smoking, including cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and hookah.

What a wonderful hotel for a fabulous price!

ngl this was mid. like this hotel was ok but just barely. the staff was friendly and professional, very quick. now the hallways smelled like straight weed, cigarettes, literally every smell but clean. the room had a little smell too. AC worked. bathtub was not throughly cleaned, there was mold and the tub faucet and handle were dirty. tv didn’t work. floor was sticky. bed was clean, we ended up bringing our own pillow cases and sheets because we didn’t trust it fully. surfaces were clean for the most part but a lot of dust on the lamps. no roaches or bed bugs. we ended up cleaning our room even though they said they cleaned it because it looked like they did the bare minimum or just half assed cleaning it. neighbors were noisy and you could hear everything. TVs next door, people walking, kids running down the halls and people talking. overall, for the price, it was okay. honesty i recommend the Best Western next door. just a few dollars more, breakfast included which is pretty decent if you wanna save money on food and you’re hungry, more amenities, MUCH cleaner, smart TV. just overall better bang for your buck but if you’re ok with bare minimum hotel and if you’re looking for the cheapest option, this is the best option.

The rooms need to be double checked to see if floors are cleaned up, lights are working in the room fully, remote to the tv is working and plugs are safe are just a few thing's we saw.

Front desk employees were nice. Guy sitting by front door asking for cigarettes or ride. Hallway needed vacuumed. Trash piled up by side door. Bed comfortable. Room was good except for used towels behind batjroom door.

I liked being in the closest room on the ground floor as I'm clearly physically disabled, but having my room windows right next to the rear entrance, I couldn't keep my window open since castles residents didn't give a crap about the no smoking sign on the door( they're supposed to walk away from the door) but it's not labeled clearly enough. I was here for 14 days and it was so all in all a positive experience. would recommend

The service was very, very bad. Late check in 12am 8/2/25. My daughter was thrown out at 11am when Danny the front desk rep harassed her w many calls and told her she couldn’t stay there until her dad came back 10 min…wouldn’t let her wait in lobby and told her to walk to Wendy’s to wait. I was told I had till 12noon checkout by at check in. My daughter was crying hysterically and traumatized by this event. I am pursuing legal action so this never happens again to anyone else at motel 6. The rep Danny left for the day when he told me I couldn’t make a verbal or formal complaint to him.

Sufficient hotel if you’re looking for a bathroom to shower in and a bed to sleep in

Rough condition, requirements that question the safety of the property. Early check in fee (20 minutes early?

Big patches of the ceiling had fallen and the shower curtain rod was barely attached to the wall. The table and chairs looked like they belonged in a kindergarten classroom. No place comfortable to sit. The place was really run down. I would not recommend it.

It's a decent enough place. Our shower still had soap residue in it and there was no housekeeping during our 4 day stay but overall I would stay here again

The room was clean, but in general the condition of the corridors. It was dirty, and plus there was no refrigerator microwave. It was very extremely inconvenient. This is the minimum that should be in a hotel with 4 stars.

Property was very dirty, it’s chemical smell in hallways and room, dirt and mold, dirty bathtub, very loud at night, front desk wasn’t there upon arrival (15-20 minute wait).

Bed is comfortable. Room is clean. Surprised that there was no fridge or microwave in room. Very spartan room. No Kleenex or glass for water. No extra blankets, pillows or bedspread. Good enough for a quick stop for a decent night's sleep. Certainly nothing special.

Filthy inside and out. Only stayed a couple of hours and had to leave. Now I can't get a refund. $268.28 lost.

Housekeeping was gone for the day and I had to change my own sheets. And of course the bathroom was not cleaned. I requested to be changed to a clean room and the manager Rosie did not approved it. I had to change my sheets and sweep the room. That’s the only cleaning I could do.

On the upside, Kayla the front counter person was helpful in getting us more pillows. I don’t recommend this hotel.

Got a good deal on this room. I was weary based on the looks outside but was pleasantly surprised inside. None of the rooms have microwaves or refrigerators but that didn’t bother me. Safe was friendly and check in was quick. There was a ring type security camera outside the front door for safety. General common areas were clean and zero complaints. Our room was clean, blankets fresh and everything worked. Was a very basic room. No bells or whistles but clean. The bathroom was tiny but water was hot. For a quick trip it was definitely adequate.

Clean and well maintained

While the room wasn’t dirty, it had a grimy feel about it. It’s not a terrible place but it’s definitely sketchy. Decent enough for the price but it could really use an upgrade. No fridge was a big disappointment.

One night, at 2;30am, a woman awoke us with defining screams of HELP ME, HELP ME, while running up and down the hallway. The Police arrive and stopped the chaos, but sleep the rest of the evening was impossible. When I asked the front desk about the incident the next day, I was told it was a private matter. On another morning, the couple in the room next to us had an extended lous fight in their room at 7am, thus we got an unrequested wakeup call. During the 9 night stay, we only received full room service one day, and had to ask for towels on 2 occasions.

Very quiet and good parking

There were ants in the room, and it smelled musty. There were people upstairs running up and down the halls at all hours of the night. Someone got arrested while we were there. You had to pay extra for a fridge and coffee pot to be in your room. I will say though the people at the front desk were very nice.

We stayed 2 nights and there were many guests,but some guests were questionable hanging around the front entrance.They had one employee at ckout when they could of used two.

The bathroom had dirt in the corners. I walked on the floor and my feet were dirty.

The room's jacuzzi and tub was unclean with stains per the last guest. I informed the manager, she got an attitude and asked me why I didn't report it immediately but I had been traveling all night and day and opted to use the bathroom and take a breather since finding the room unclean added to the stress of being dead tired. When the manager looked at the room with the housekeeper, they both said it was clean but just stained. I said okay and went to the store to buy cleaning supplies to clean it myself since they wouldn't do it or offer to switch out my room. What they called a stain in both tubs was nit and easily came up with a little effort. I was extremely disappointed at that point because had they offered to clean it, they would've seen that it was not a stain and just filth. Then upon checking out, they only offered a $15 for the inconvenience which prompted me to reach out to Expedia. That would've been an appreciated offer had they offered to clean the room but they gaslit me saying it's clean when it wasn't.

This is probably the best motel 6 in the country. No bugs, everything is always clean and the management is very nice I am always treated with respect and I feel like that can make or break a relaxing stay from my experience.

The room was great, the other guests were terrible, slamming door and yelling all night.

First of all, we were a few minutes before check-in. Our room was ready, but she charged us for early check in. After a day of traveling, that is not what you want to hear. She did not say she was sorry or anything. Very cold. There was trash all over the halls and very noisy. A fight broke out in some room after midnight, I was expecting gunfire. I would never stay there again!

We found where the dog piss is. Would definitely not recommend as the person at the front desk didn’t believe me and was rude about it. He didn’t help me till I found out where it was exactly and started saying how they only had four cleans. Left the room right away and found another motel. My first experience was great but after this experience I would never go again.
