We were very pleased with the hotel. It is very well maintained and clean. The only drawback was the bed was extremely too firm for me and my wife's taste to get a good night rest. The water pressure seemed a little to low. May consider different shower heads to help add pressure to better rinse off. Other than that, hotel was very nice and close enough to most attractions in Nashville. Would definatly consider staying there again.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Never actually took advantage of the free breakfast, it did smell delicious, though. The air conditioner kept the room comfortably cool, which was great considering how hot it was outside. The cleaning crew made our bed and brought fresh towels every day instead of every few days as some hotels do. I would definitely stay here on future trips to Nashville.

I loved the air conditioning in the room! And it was responsive when I was too warm and cooled down fast! Shower amenities were excellent!

The only negative thing I could possibly say was that the wifi did not work at all. It either wouldn’t connect or when it did it just didn’t work. Other than that this place was great! This hotel was really nice and well maintained! I’ve been to many hotels and this was honestly one of the best ones I’ve stayed it so far. Overall a great place and the security measures they’ve implemented in the parking lot were also appreciated and the breakfast was honestly delicious! I would definitely stay here again!

The room didn’t always get cleaned in a timely manner as we’d have to ask for towels around 3:00 pm for two days. I understand that may have been due to staffing conditions. We’ve stayed there for years and are always satisfied.

Not to far from Broadway. This location is far cheaper and only an 18 dollar Uber downtown.

Our stay at The Alexis Inn was a quick weekend stay for work. Our first room had mold in the ceiling to which we immediately alerted the front desk and was moved to another room. The breakfast was a little disappointing as far as flavor and variety. We didn’t use any of the amenities to make a comment on. WiFi was good and parking was free. Overall 3/5.

how close it was to everywhere, the beds were SOO COMFY, such a cute little place to stay and the staff were lovely on the front desk I highly recommend staying the smell around the property was sometimes not nice around the corridors but other than that amazing place, the house keeping never visited the top floors often we had to find them to ask to get rid of rubbish and for extra towels on several occasions

It was in a good location from the city and it was on a sale so it was worth the price. The bathroom was really small and barely usable and then room smelt really weird like musty. We most have got a non updated room.

The hotel was quite and the lobby was clean Our room had a very odd smell. The mini fridge did not work and was leaking into the carpet. There were bugs coming from the outside into our a/c unit. The bed was lumpy and squeaked.

The beds were very comfortable. It felt like a 2 star hotel. For $93 per night I think they can do better. The staff did not engage. I maybe saw one staff person the whole 24 hours we were there. Lots of drink machines but nothing with Diet pop in it or it was empty I don’t know which one it was. I would not stay here again.

This was a very reasonably priced accommodation for Nashville in may. Free juices at breakfast were the best. Just maybe the rooms and corridors could do with a deeper clean. Carpets etc.

The TV remote didn't work the entire time we were there. Even though maintenance came out he didn't fix it. Also it would help to have more lights in the room.

We Ubered from the airport. It was a short ride. Hotel is clean. Breakfast is your typical scrambled eggs and sausage style breakfast. They also had homemade waffles and some fruit but not a lot of vaiety. For the price its a very nice hotel

This was probably the best hotel we have stayed at in a long time. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The rooms were amazing and very comfortable. The hot breakfast was great - waffles!! My kids usually will not eat the free hotel breakfast, but they both did this time and I am very happy about it. The eggs, gravy, biscuits, and sausage were all fresh and hot. This was my favorite so far.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at the Alexis Inn & Suites. The beds were ok even though other reviewers said they were comfortable. Also we rather have cable tv over the Direct TV because of loss of signal. The breakfast was pretty good with choices of sausage, biscuits, gravy, cereal, coffee, juices,etc.

Felt like a safe location

My husband and I arrived early due to not remembering the time change. My fault. I wish I could remember the ladies name at the front desk. She was extremely kind and extremely understanding and extremely friendly. I really appreciate her. We enjoyed a late night breakfast just down the street at the Waffle House where again, amazingly friendly staff. Great stay. My husband and I had a blast.

The staff were wonderful and friendly! They let us check in early and after our check out the let us leave our car in their parking lot for a few extra hours and were very sweet about it. The breakfast was delicious with tons of options and our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The only complaint I could possibly think of was that the TVs in the room were a little weird and kept kicking us off Netflix or going to a black screen. Otherwise it was a perfect place to stay!

The parking was nice, I liked that you had to use your key card to get into the parking lot. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but it was good enough. The room was beautiful and we truly enjoyed our stay.

The hotel looked vibrant on the outside. On the inside is calm, clean, and had coffee and water available at all times. The rooms were clean and I mean clean. I usually have a magic erase. I was a little nervous about the hotel because of the price but I was very pleased with the condition of the property. It’s located right off the highway and has had a refresh recently. Everything was new and the room was comfortable. I was traveling with my daughter and felt safe on the property even coming back from downtown at night.

Checking in staff amazing. Front desk manager who gave multiple different first names as we had several groups extend their stay was rude as ever. But the 2 ladies on Friday check in were great!

Watchouts were: We needed to request the bedding for the pull out couch. And then take the elevator to the lobby to pick them up. Once we got back to the room, we realized there was no shampoo, conditioner and soap in the room. Then we needed to request it from the front desk - and then take the elevator downstairs to retrieve them. These were a little frustrating because it is typically part of a room being prepared for your arrival. But the bigger issue was the elevator itself. It was very, very slow and whatever was wrong with it was causing the fire alarm to go off. The worst example was when the fire alarm went off at 11:42pm. Alarms went off in the hallway - but not in the suites, so had it been a real emergency I am concerned that people would not have known to evacuate. The hotel was spacious and had a good breakfast, the hotel has potential when it's issues are addressed.

Our room was clean upon arrival, but after it was cleaned on day 2, there was hair in the sink that did not belong to my husband or myself.

Like a motel, sheets had holes in them, found a bug on the wall. People running down the hallway screaming at 2am. Hotel room was outdated, dirty and wall paint was chipped.

There were quite a few guests so the elevator was in constant use and took awhile. The elevator beeped continuously which the manager addressed. Other than that the stay there was great. Good breakfast, coffee, tea or fruited water available at all times as well as popcorn. I like it and would go there again

This place was great!!! The staff at the front desk are amazing and sooo nice. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is due to the elevator went out of service for a few hours and we were on the 4th floor. Other than that, this place was fantastic and I would definitely stay again.

The room was great! The breakfast was good. The staff was nice. The only downside was that the elevator was out of order and we didn’t know that when we made the reservation, and that made it very difficult with a mobility disability since no rooms were available on the first floor. We did get a room on the second floor, but the stairs were nearly impossible. This would have been a 5 star stay with a working elevator.

Always a great hotel to stay at. Safe and clean. Also convenient if you are flying out of Nashville, very close to the airport. Elevator was being renovated during our stay but the employees were very considerate and didn’t take an incidental fee.

Our room was clean except there were more than a dozen ladybugs in the room each day. Also the only elevator for guests was out of order and we were in the fourth floor. I have asthma which was triggered by the hike up the stairs over and over again.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room itself was clean, aside from several ladybugs that had made their home on the walls and in the window sill. There was a concerning carving in the shower wall, but maintenance was very quick at cleaning and providing a solution.

We always enjoy staying at The Alexis Inn but this time there was a bad smell of marijuana all night. Besides that the hotel is always clean and friendly staff.

Interesting refreshed hotel of five stories. Seems recently remodeled, so facilities are in good shape. Room was small and configuration a little unusual with the sink, mirror and surrounding light dominating the room, But it was usable. Only had one bulb out. Bed and breakfast were very good. TV was huge and good quality, although there were occasional dropouts. Interesting gated parking area, but the gates worked well. Only real negative was the Wi-fi. It worked, sometimes, but seemed to become very slow and highly lagged, becoming largely unusable. But overall, for the price and location, it was a good stay.

The room was very spacious since we had the little kitchenette. It gave a nice space for my husband to work on his computer and conduct zoom meetings without affecting me in the main living space. The location is fabulous! Close to the airport and an easy drive to most tourist attractions. We appreciated the gated parking behind the building with a secure entrance. The elevator could use some servicing and updating. The breakfast dining area and coffee & tea beverage bar is a very nice setup. We appreciated the complimentary breakfast that was always well stocked. The only issue was the selection of fresh fruit. The whole week we were there the oranges were so old there was no juice inside them and the apples were so old the peel was wrinkly and the inner pulp was mushy & flavorless. We were very comfortable our entire stay and enjoyed the free hot popcorn at night. The desk staff are efficient but not welcoming or warm. The employee on duty usually had a boyfriend or friend hanging in the lobby that they were busy talking to the whole time so we were never greeted or addressed when entering or leaving.

The room was clean, the breakfast was good, with several good options. There was an issue in the room with the television, which was very disappointing. The television would turn on and you could not change the channels. It would stay on the home screen and was not able to be changed. This was highly inconvenient and while it was the only issue, it was still an issue with the stay.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable, along with the temperature of the room. I had banana nut bread, and an orange for breakfast and it was really good. My mother in law and husband had the cooked breakfast and they enjoyed everything but the eggs, they tasted kinda bland and not that great. The coffee was really good too. Will definitely stay again.

It was a very great time in Nashville TN with Alexis Inn and i love it. Breakfast included is a plus and it’s good more than i expected. The room was clean and neat. It’s pretty close to the downtown so you can take uber or lyft to vist downtown just for less than $10. Love it. Absolutely i will come back next year for sure.

This hotel was terrible. The room walls and ceiling were covered in Asian lady Beatles that the hotel tried to cover up by saying they were ladybugs so people would not be grossed out by staying there the Beatles if you smoosh them let off a very foul odor and they bite Thinking that they were a ladybug as the hotel said I tried to pick one up to relocate it outside and it bit me . The walls are so thin and the doors are so thin. You can hear what everyone’s doing in the room next to you or walking down the hallway.. the breakfast fruit was all old. The bread was hard. The building itself all they did was make an old place try and look new. The corners of the bathroom had dirt in them. The elevator floors were dirty. I would not recommend staying here..

The building is outdated and has very noticeable changes that need to be made. The room was decent for the price, I mean we were not expecting anything extravagant. Some of the staff were also rude and not the most pleasant. Some were friendly but most seem bothered or as if they were doing you a favor when asking them for questions. If you are on a budget and not going to spend much time on site, good place to stay as it was close to most places and overall a decent experience.

Our room was lovely, only problem was the heat function on the air conditioner didnt work unless you put it at or above 74f (there was a distinct difference between 73 and 74, and you could smell the slight difference, that the heater had turned on at 74 etc)

I didn’t have too many issues at the property and I didn’t want to go through the trouble of complaining and relocating. But this property is very rundown, needs a lot of maintenance, it could be cleaner, etc. The fixtures in the room were rusty - bathtub, drain, toilet paper holder, a/c unit. All were very old, rusty and dirty. There was a broken piece in the ceiling in the bathroom that could easily allow up for mice to get in and out. I had a couple of insects flying inside the room. Breakfast quality was below poor. Like I said, this was a short trip, so I didn’t fuss about it. But it was definitely bad in terms of quality, food was sometimes cold -some sausages were frozen. Breakfast was the same thing every day. Not many options for snacks or vending machine. Anyway, I know this hotel is very price-friendly, but I’ve stayed at other places that were inexpensive but still good quality. Very disappointing. If you’re looking for a more comfortable and nicer place to stay, I would not stay here.

They canceled my reservation, the hotel is saying Travelocity canceled it , Travelocity is saying the hotel canceled it , no one wants to claim responsibility, the manager kept trying to say it could have been a bad credit card over and over even though the credit card worked just fine for everything else , Travelocity said the hotel canceled my reservation bc I wasn’t there at 4 pm for check in , the hotel said they didn’t , but I was a no show even though I drove 5 hours and was there at 9 pm and was sent away bc there was no rooms available

Breakfast was good, beds were comfortable. That would be the end of the good though. The smell as soon as you get in the elevator about knocked me down. Then when we got in our room it was just as bad. I ordered Walmart delivery some febreeze and one of the glade spray things and it didn’t touch it over our 4 days. It likely has some water damage that has gone untreated.

The staff was helpful and very nice. The location of the property is convenient to Opry Mills and its surrounding areas. It was a quiet location. Unfortunately, there were stink bugs in multiple rooms and a spider in the bathtub in my room. I also noticed small details that didn't hinder my stay but could improve the appearance of the rooms (e.g., paint blotches on the ceilings, perfect the paint lines, etc).

The outside of the building appears to have been repainted making it appear fresh and inviting, but the abundance of cigarette butts left something to be desired. The lobby was inviting but once you get to your room, it really needs an update. The room is stale looking and the bathrooms needs remodeling. The beds and pillows were not comfortable at all.

The elevator took a very long time to move only 5 floors up or down. The evening receptionist was very friendly and engaging. The daytime receptionist was rude and acted like it was a bother to interact with her. The toilet had stopped up and we tried to call using the hotel phone but it didn't work. So, we had to go down to the front desk. The front desk person said she would get housekeeping to bring a plunger, but her attitude said otherwise (she had no interest in helping). After waiting for about 15 minutes, we called from our personal phone and the front desk person acted surprised that noone showed up. Within 5 minutes of the phone call, housekeeping brought a plunger. Overall, not a terrible experience. The bed was comfy, the room provided the necessary accommodations. The parking area had plenty of spaces and it didn't feel unsafe coming and going in the late hours. Breakfast was a typical hotel continental fare (eggs, sausage, gravy, waffles, cereal, pastries, etc). I was pleased with the offerings.

Alexis Inn the lobby smelled like smoke and mold on arrival. The parking lot gate is awkward upon entering. The parking lot is very lit at nightime, the area seems safe. There is only 1 elevator, the hallway smelled like smoke, very musty. We had an executive suit, it was dark drab, smelled like smoke, weed, and musty. The walls were thin you could hear everything. The carpet was dirty, the room was dark. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast.

This was our first time staying here and we would definitely stay here again. The room was very nice with a great little seperate kitchenette area which I didnt expect. We weren't in our room enough to use it, but it was a nice feature. The only complaint I have is about the bathroom sink area. It was very inconvenient. There are no towel racks or shelving to keep towels or washcloths by the sink, so you had to walk them into the bathroom to hang them up. It was also inconvenient for 2 people trying to get ready. Minor things. The breakfast was a nice mix of hot and cold options which included eggs, sausage, bacon, and waffles. And onsite parking was a plus. Definitely worth the price!

The only downfall was the other guests being loud and banging doors in the middle of the night to wee hours of the morning. The breakfast was grand. Dont use the Monarch transportation, you are better off using Uber/Lift.

We had since initial issues that were rectified by staff. Essentially the first room we were given smelled like wet dog/mildew and was absolutely unbreathable. Unsure if there is a leak in the building or if dehumidifiers are needed. They promptly placed us in another room. Overall there needs to be some upgrades/updates made but staff was incredibly friendly and we felt safe.

The room was clean except for the spider. Breakfast had a nice selection. Street traffic was a little noisy but bearable. Overall it was a very nice place. Roomy in the entrance/breakfast area.

Booked for ease near the airport. Bed was comfortable, some wear around the edges of the room, the warm breakfast was great.Fitness centre is a bonus, dumbbells and a squirt bottle with cleaning solution for the equipment would be beneficial.

Rude housekeeping staff. They walk into your room without even knocking on day of check out WAY before your checkout time. I requested a late check out because of flight and was told at the front desk I could have it, but on day of check out housekeeping barged in my room and said "get out" its time for you to check out.

When I first checked in , the room they gave me had stink bugs in the room and the shower. The second room they gave me the shower was not clean at all , the shower still had hair assuming from the previous customer.

Upon opening the door to my room, I was hit with the smell of mold. I never stepped foot into the room. Went back to the front desk, receptionist said there was no other rooms available to move me. She put in a request for a refund, canceled my deposit. Still awaiting refund. The only positive thing about my experience was the front desk lady. I didn’t get her name but she worked 3rd shift, black girl maybe mid 30s, she’s the only positive thing about this hotel.

This hotel is perfect to stay super close to EVERYTHING! Only 10-15 min to downtown! 8 min to airport , 10-15 min to mall . A lot of parking. Dutch bros walking distance and across the street from Waffle House . Big rooms , only thing are the beds are spring beds. So if you’re used to memory foam like me it’s hard to sleep.

Elevator needs repair

It was a perfect distance from the airport. If has an odor that was not good. The noise from roadway and guest noise does not give you a good sleep before early morning flight

The hotel was busy due to one of the cheaper prices on the market however, I didn’t last 5min in the room due to the lack of cleanliness in the room and building as a whole. The smell gave me a headache. Like an old motel smell and the room had visible dust & debris in/out the air conditioner system, desk, sink area. I didn’t bother going to the bathroom before going to the front desk to cancel. And then their cancellation policy made me pay for the while night and had me fight to get the second night refunded. The pictures online look great but the hotel definitely wasn’t up to normal standards.

My overall stay was good. It’s a good place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere to sleep, the mattress is really firm and springy in the showerhead had mildew around it. Also, the doorway entrance was a little banged up from the doorstop. I was able to still enjoy my stay despite minor flaws. The parking area was really trashy, and I got to see some raccoon run around and ram through the trash.

Room had weird smell. There was a cockroach running around the room.

First time here. Property very well protected and safe. Great parking options. Soft bed, soft pillows. I was only there not even 24 hours, but I had a good time there. Slept well, showered well. Im sold.

We booked an executive suite. It was very spacious. All amenities were provided. Hotel is nice but needs updating. It’s a bit run down due to everyday use by so many people. Breakfast was good. There is only one lift which wasn’t a big problem but sometimes we had to wait a bit longer. Doors need something to stop the banging noise which was a serious issue during our stay. Throughout the night and early morning we could hear doors slamming. There should be a soft closing installed or something to reduce the noise. Also we could hear people talking in the corridors. Maybe the walls are very thin but people also don’t take into consideration that some people travel long distances and they need to rest. They talk loudly walking in the corridors!

In the morning and see beautiful scenery and wildlife was amazing and everything was in distance..I will be back

Nice place & calm

The hotel looks clean, but upon moving in, I noticed a lot of small cockroaches. Since I was staying two nights, the hotel changed my room. The second room was better, but there were still some small cockroaches. When I checked out, they said they would give me a 15% discount. Two weeks later, I still haven't received my money back.

The only reason I’m giving it a lower rating is because the little gym smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned EVER, and the food was not good at all.. I couldn’t even get myself to eat the eggs and sausage. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff was very friendly, so if you find a different gym and eat breakfast out, it’s fine.

The location of this hotel was great, and the price was fantastic. They have done a good job resurfacing the bathrooms and the bed was comfortable. Everything was clean, but the smells of whatever they've used to cover the smoking odors was strong for us. Unfortunately, the refrigerator wouldn't get cold and the hairdryer didn't work (no backups available). The walls and doors were very thin and noises carried readily. Quality breakfast options were seriously lacking. We appreciated the value for the price paid, but we probably will opt for another place next visit.

We decided to stop for the night and came upon this place. Definitely overworked staff. There was one person for four groups of people checking in. It’s definitely an old building they added some nice things to. Elevator was slow, ice machine only on the first floor, bed creaking as you sat on it. Glad they had free parking and breakfast. It was good for a short stay but I could not imagine staying longer.

My boyfriend and I loved our stay here. We stayed 8 days. After 9pm, you have to have a keycard to get through the front door. The location was super convenient, being less than 10 minutes from Opry area and less than 20 of downtown Nashville. The free breakfast every morning was great and the cleaning ladies were awesome. My only funny critic is - please stop putting oranges in the water in the lobby, make it lemon or just plain water please LOL. Thank you for our awesome stay!
