    Stayed 4 nights over memorial day weekend. Even had our fur child and we couldn’t have asked for a better a stay. From the front desk to valet and rides to nearby spots. Very accommodating. The rooftop is a must! We will be back for sure!!

    Unfortunately, the wider guest experience felt less polished. The fitness room repeatedly ran out of towels and cups (even after feedback was given), water bottles in the room were not replenished, linens were not changed during the stay, and some outdoor areas were left uncleared for days. None of these issues were major individually, but hospitality is often defined by attention to small details, and those details matter. There is a lot to like about the property and the team were always pleasant, but the hotel would benefit from greater operational discipline and consistency across the guest experience.

    And the room vibrated all night long from the club upstairs you could not go to bed till one in the morning. I had to check out the next day. I would never stay there again.

    We had a great experience. The staff was very helpful, especially at the front desk. The pool was very good too but the hot tub was out of order, waiting for city approval to open for some reason even thought it worked. The in-hotel restaurant was a little expensive for what you get but there were many other great options in the surrounding area. Cleaning staff worked around our schedule every day and did a fantastic job. Thanks for a wonderful overall experience.

    Roof deck and lobby restaurant were great! Hotel staff warm and welcoming. I lost my Jacket and Jerry found it and mailed it back to me. I cannot say enough nice things about this Newport peninsula jewel.

    The hotel is great! Very clean, very nice facilities. The staff was bad.... We had a bad experience checking in. I informed them the day before our arrival that we would arrive by 1:00pm and an early check in would be helpful. We were coming out of state and needed to be at an event at 5:00pm. It would have been great to get into our room a little early to get ready. They made us wait until 4:00pm on the dot. We actually didn't get into our room until 4:20ish. I also requested a microwave for our room due to being on a special diet. Didn't happen until later that evening. I'm not the complaining type, I never respond to these.... but I was very frustrated with the lack of customer service.

    My wife and I had a fabulous getaway after the Christmas rush!! Excellent hotel, honestly no need to leave the property, plenty to do onsite. We did however take a nice walk to a local fresh seafood resturant, and a fine Irish pub!! We will be back real soon!!

    Limo was the BEST; Lucas, Brandon, Brandon, Jimmy, Chase, all of them were pleasant every day of our stay and quite accommodating getting us where we needed to be and within their area of transport. We will return to the Lido, everywhere was easily accessible, some within walking distance; beautiful place to be. Thank you

    So disappointed. I loved this hotel the first couple of times I stayed there and have recommended it to so many people. Our stay last night and this morning was not good. We pre-ordered breakfast to be delivered between 740-8am because we had to depart at 830am to make it to an event on time. At 756am, our breakfast had not yet arrived. I called down and the front desk apologized and said the kitchen was prioritizing and it would right up. By 820am it still hadn’t arrived. My daughter has low blood sugar and cannot go without meals. When I called down again, they acted as if we had never ordered anything and said they would ask the kitchen to make us something to go. I called down again to have my car pulled around because we were not late to our event and starving. When I got down, the car was nowhere to be found. When I asked, they said they would go get it. When the car finally arrived, we were 20 minutes late to depart and still no breakfast. When I got in the car, the battery was almost down, no one had charged it overnight. I cannot begin to express my disappointment in this stay. I would like the manager to contact me immediately.

    WiFi was tough to connect to at first. Some used contact lenses left on side of bed (cleanliness issue). White noise machine was nice and helpful. Roof bar is great but more coverage / umbrellas in cases of light rain would be helpful. Great pool area but would be nice to have adult only hours as children were so loud it wasn’t enjoyable to sit outside.

    The Lido is an absolute gem! The hotel is beautifully designed, incredibly convenient, and perfectly situated—just steps from fantastic restaurants and an easy walk to the beach. The pool is amazing, a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Every stay here has been a great experience, and I always look forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

    Property is beautiful, very cute, rooms in the cottage are clean but not super clean, there were dirty plates in our kitchen. Staff at front desk is not very service oriented nor very friendly, They refused to give us a one hour late checkout (12 instead of 11am) and did not give us our room until 4pm, customer service on the phone was much better. Valet guys are very friendly fly and serviceable.

    This was our second time staying at the Lido House. It's super clean and chic inside and a five minute walk from dozens of shops and very good waterfront dining. Staff was helpful and courteous. Really cannot think of any negatives.

    This hotel is beautiful, but way too too pricey, but I guess that's Newport! It is nicely centered by main street shopping, restaurants, and. ocean. I requested an early check-in, but ended up waiting f or two hours and was checked in at the regular time. The person ahead of me in line also had this same problem. The beds and room were very nice, despite two flies in there. The pool area is also very nice. I liked the fact that there were not a lot of kids and they are dog friendly, It was fun feeling rich for the night! LOL!

    Nice rooms and property, but rooftop and main bar areas are very loud, I expected more of a relaxing quiet atmosphere for the rooftop but my wife and I could not even have a conversation, I think the problem is the music choice and volume, it creates more of a club like environment, which is fine if that’s what you’re expecting, but I wasn’t, and would probably not return due to that, we planned on staying by the pool the next day but after our experience we decided to leave after checking out, assuming it would be the same experience at the pool.

    Further, dealing with the Marriott telephone center for all hotel requests does not make for a four star or five star experience. I called several times to speak with someone “on property” for concierge help and was directed to the call center each time.

    Room overlooked dumpster area and was awakened every morning around 7am to trash pick up. So disappointing. Shower had tub with shower curtain with low pressure from shower head and hard faucet to turn on and off. I have stayed here several times and never had a room like this. Other rooms are much better.

    Our room’s AC was not working properly for the entire stay, however the front staff was responsive in working to resolve it with the hotel engineer and performed an override type of modification which somewhat helped. Otherwise, we have stayed here multiple times and have always found it to be a wonderful experience.

    The hotel goes for a beach vibe and almost pulls it off. The location is just weird it's neither on the beach or with a view. Rooms were not clean and very noisy (either street or elevator perpetual dinging) $49 a night parking and $30 resort fee is just fleecing the customer. Staff were very friendly and attentive though so can't fault that.

    Property was very clean, the staff at front desk are polite and welcoming. We stayed in one of the cottages which was lovely. For families - bring a sound machine because windows are very thin which brings in all of the sound from the bars and parties outside.

    We had a corner cottage and it was an amazing property. However, it was next to the loading area so every morning (6-7.30 am), there were trucks parking/leaving next to the cottage - loading/unloading goods. It was a disappointment with the noise especially it was next to the kids' our rooms and we were woken up by the trucks every morning.

    Cute hotel with plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops to walk to. The employees were all super nice (at all hours of the day and night). The rooms were nice as well, but the bathroom was not amazing. It was basic. A small tub that made me feel like I was on a cramped cruise ship. The water pressure was non existent.

    The hotel is located right near a funky shopping street with restaurants and bakeries. It's beautifully appointed and upscale. You can walk to the Newport Beach walk. I wasn't impressed by the $43 valet only parking charge.

    Beautiful place, well decorated and cozy. Couldn’t get a good rest because the walls are thin. 5:30am I heard thumping from the foot steps above us. More noise coming from guest next door getting ready in their bathroom. Would’ve been the perfect beach get away if it weren’t for the noise. Everything else was good!

    What a terrible place to stay! Internet down, people at front desk could care less about you and the price for room is ridiculously overpriced. Our room was like sanatorium or mental hospital. Hotels .com also posted pictures of our room with balcony. That was complete lie and shame on you hotels.com for tricking us into it.

    The overall service was a mixed bag. The valets and housekeeping were super...the front desk not so much. Seemed like they were constantly dual-tasking and thus not focused on the guest standing in front of them (i.e. me). Also, we arrived after 4:00 pm and our room was not ready. To me, that's completely unacceptable. Do better in scheduling your rooms and/or your housekeeping.

    Amenities were not explained to us but we had to pay a fee for them at the end. We ate breakfast at the restaurant and my husband ordered chicken sausage. He then voiced to our server Rick that he did not like the item and would like it taken and removed. Rick still left it on the check at the end and charged us for it. For how much we paid for the room I feel both those occupancies were unacceptable.

    The pool had many kids constantly, there was no view. Stayed one night- 409 + taxes- came to 507, then 200 incidentals, and lastly $43 dollars for valet. quite a bit to not even have the room for 24 hours.

    The Staff appeared nice, but when we had issues with the room and our stay they didn’t seem to care at all. We ended up shortening our stay because of the abundance of noise at night and the fact the room had broken blinds allowing light to shine in. Will never stay here again and would recommend staying elsewhere.
