    Very clean, modernized hotel. Good gym (for cardio, primarily). A big characterless, but that is typical of the area. Air conditioning makes a lot of noise and woke me every time it activated.

    Two things I my room needed attention. The shower need work -the flow to the showerhead was very low because something wasn’t working right and it would only go into the tub a lot instead of it being pushed up to the showerhead, also the air conditioning was very noisy. It kept cool, but it was noisy when it came on and off.

    I really liked the shower and the bed. The parking was decent but rather low if you drove a truck. I requested a wine bottle opener three times and never received it. I was told to go to the bar to get one. Really?! So much for room service.

    In all my travels this was one of the best Hotels that I have ever stayed at. I will be staying there again when I travel back to the area. The staff at the front desk (Sofia), Luis at the Bar for serving drinks and food was top drawer. The rooms were clean and exceptional.

    I enjoyed the hotel. I do not like rooms that are close to the hotel HVAC system. Room 672 looks out over the parking garage & the hotel HVAC, I would def request a different Side of the hotel to avoid the and food smells from hotel kitchen blowing into the room. other than that, I would definitely stay again. I am super picky about hotels and prefer hotels with balcony to get fresh air.

    The room needed a few Fixes. Paint in the shower was pealing, night stand drawer would not stay closed. But very clean. laminate flooring in the rooms. Feels more sanitary than carpet. Have stayed here multiple times. Good bang for the buck!

    Great hotel very well designed and everything, staff seem entitled had better customer service at a McDonalds. No one greeted me when walking in at all during my entire stay except once from valet. Pretty sure that should be common courtesy from a “4 star” hotel. Had a pretty good interaction with a waiter but other than that I didn’t even wanna interact with the employees. All I can say is great in every way but customer service sucked.😅

    Everything was great until 4:45am when the fire alarm went off in my room only. After a few minutes of calling the front desk and no one answered, it turned off. 10 min later it came blaring back on, called again and they sent a engineer up and he unplugged it and took it away, no replacement. I’m wide awake now. At check out they adjusted my parking for inconvenience LOL

    Extremely spacious clean hotel. People were very welcoming and eager to assist. Great room service. Only reason I wouldn’t give it five stars is the bed was so soft. You could roll off the edge if you weren’t careful while sleeping. Also rather high parking fees per day, which was $43 for Self Park, $45 for valet. Also note they did for warn us of the parking fees.

    Here are the draw-backs I encountered: 1. You have to pay to park; $43 per night for self pay and even more for valet. If you wanted to park just for an hour or two and leave again, you have to pay based on your time, similar to other paid parking garages. 2. They charged my card an obscure $74 fee without disclosing it. When I saw it on my account, I asked the front desk and they said it’s an “incidental” fee. I understand needing a deposit or card on file, but the random fee without any notice felt unprofessional. 3. The people at the front desk were distracted speaking with other staff instead of attentive to guests. 4. Not all reservations include breakfast. Apparently, that was the case for us despite having paid full-price for our room. They have a “restaurant” in the lobby but the costs are insane. 5. There were airplanes flying over all night long and it was very loud. 6. There were about 10 children around the age of 10 in the jacuzzi unsupervised by adults. 7. The room was so incredibly basic. Nothing at all to justify the expense. Rough towels, cheap soap, terrible lighting The TV was far away from the bed off to the side of the room and was small.

    We had to change rooms because there was a weird smell, which the front desk was very accommodating and even gave us free breakfast. The rooms had a nice vibe more modern feel. However, it is an older building that has been remodeled. It did not have a new new feeling to me. I would probably stay here again depending on the price.

    Sad review to have to right but starting at check in my room wasn't ready so they tried to get me to downgrade or wait up to an hour or more. So waited to check in. Once in I got one hot shower than the remainder of the stay it never got above Luke warm. Called front desk who told me nothing was wrong with the hot water and sent an "engineer" who turned the water on asked me to feel it with no change and informed me there was infact a problem with the hot water and that was just how it was gonna be for the remainder of the stay. No care.

    My only critique would be for the front desk staff to be more thorough when it comes to explaining the property details and/or additional fees to be accumulated during your stay. Front desk agent Myra failed to disclose all of what the property had to offer and also failed to mention a parking fee that would be added to my final bill at checkout. At check-in she asked for my identification and credit card for incidentals, handed me a room key, and sent me to the direction of the elevators. There was no additional dialog between us regarding my room type, dining options, where I could locate the pool, etc. Although my check-in didn’t feel very welcoming overall the junior suite was amazing, the property was beautiful, and I enjoyed my stay. I would definitely stay again if given the opportunity.

    We arrived Friday afternoon and did not have hot water Friday evening, Saturday, or Sunday. The maintenance person told us to leave the water on to get hot for 15-20 minutes. That was the solution. No remedy was offered. We were there for a wedding … nothing like a refreshing cold shower before you get all dressed up.

    The lobby, pool and staff were very nice. Parking is listed free on the listing but it is 43 a night so that adds up. Not overly impressed by the room though. Hotel is showing it's age and rooms are not being updated. The floor in the bathroom is all bubbled up, door to the bathroom does not Shut and the paint is peeling up around the bottom of the walls and doors. Otherwise the rooms are ok. Cleaning service is great and thorough. Convenient to get around in town from here, especially the Airport.

    Good location near the Barclay theater, where we were going to a show. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable, beautiful hotel. The pool area was dirty in the morning when I went down for a swim; there were smashed cupcakes, glasses, and other garbage. Thank you for the free water in the lobby that wasn't bottled. The hotel uses a lot of plastic; if they could reduce the one and done plastic, and have healthier snacks in the gift shop, it would be appreciated.

    My room was dirty. Stains on the counter tops, closet, toilet was dirty, glasses weren't clean. It was nasty. I went and bought gloves and disinfectant and cleaned my own room. I had to ask multiple times for my room to serviced for fresh towels, trash to be emptied, and new sheets. That was very frustrating.

    Absolutely horrible experience. FAR too expensive to have the issues I encountered. Parking is $48 per night, breakfast isn't included with stay, everything was old and dirty, rust in the shower, gaps in the door, crunchy floors, and I had to call the desk 3 times for a pack-and-play, and after a total of 90 minutes just walked to the front desk to wait, where they told me they couldn't find one, and just didn't want to call me back because it was late. Would never recommend this hotel.

    Even though we were required to say how many people were staying with us, they only ever brought us a couple sets of towels. We had to specially request towels for every person. Plus, a personal towel was taken and mixed in with the laundry, and never received. The extra fees for parking and wifi etc. are not worth it considering the stay was not worth as much as it cost. Do not recommend.

    Breakfast was cold, HVAC went out around 11 and couldn't call down cause the phone didn't work. Staff was incredibly rude. Manager on duty was nice though, hut at the end of the day, we spend money to stay at a hotel and bring 14 other families with us & the hotel sucked. Horrible for a Marriott, as a platinum elite member, I'd expect more than what my family experienced, especially on the customer service side of things.

    Great location plus many amenities! I enjoyed our stay, very busy and lively restaurant and bar area. Comfortable queen beds. My only complaint is you can literally hear everything going on in the bedrooms from the doorway of your room! Also ac was not up to par, I had it 65 and luckily I was able to open a bedroom window to cool down our room. One more tip would be to give the rooms a deep cleaning, some dust on the vents, doors and baseboards.

    Original: Excellent comfort, service, and location make this the best place I've stayed at in Orange County so far. It gets all the small details right including high quality soaps and shampoos, simple navigation, big TVs with Netflix support, and more. Staff went out of their way to help me for a couple things, which was greatly appreciated. Truly a great experience. Just be aware that parking is $43/day and there's no way around it.

    Loved the first floor lounge. Great place to hang out. The first floor bathrooms were convenient and never locked. Wifi was through Marriott Bonvoy and I had trouble connecting the first day and the rest of the people staying with me could not connect at a the entire stay. The front desk staff could not help because this was Marriott thing. Service was a bit slow. We requested a garbage change as we never got regular housekeeping and not sure if they were too busy or forgot but I had to ask 2 days in a row before someone actually came. The front desk staff didn't communicate with each other - what one staff promised another one couldn't follow through with. For example, I had asked if my roommates who were coming later in the night could be given keys so I didn't have to stay up to let them in (sleeping due to time difference). The front desk said it would be okay if I gave the full legal names and if they provided ID. The person who said it'd be okay was not at the front desk at the time they checked in and so I had to let them in instead. Not a big deal - I just wish they were consistent with their actions. The person checking me in misspelled my email for Marriott Bonvoy and suspect that's why my room had trouble connecting to the internet the entire time. I just created another account and had them link it. It just felt like the entire stay, I was problem solving for things that wouldn't have been a problem at other hotels.
