    dogs barking @ 3am in the morning on both sides of my room 1809. Complained to the man at front desk said someone would be in touch with me. Nobody called, had to follow up. Still waiting for reimbursement on my CC they promised of parking. Very unhappy!

    Surprisingly nice location, room arrangement was nice beautiful Falls view when weather is good. Fitness swimming pool and whirlpool are fully equipped and clean. Outdoor swimming pool patio should have been more appreciated in summer. Gum spot on the carpet and curtains have multiple cigarette burn holes. Fortunate I didn’t smell the cigarette smell. That means the burning holes and the gum sticking on the carpet are from different groups of customers. So exactly how do they doing the house keeping were questionable. These definitely down graded the hotel over all. The staff did not introducing the breakfast solution ( Starbucks) . So I left the hotel hungry. Lots of outside restaurants were closed too.

    The hotel was very clean and had on site Starbucks and restaurant which was very convenient. Our room had a great view of the city, the American Falls and the nightly fireworks! There was a private event going on at the hotel during our stay which made the lobby area clustered and seating for the restaurant was only available in the small bar area.

    Marissa was also g at front desk. Kind, friendly and patient with us. The room was great! Comfy bed, nice view and the bathroom was clean, modern and spacious. Bonus: they had an easy parking lot. Nothing like the shitshow that The Brock, Hilton and Sheraton has. The location was ok. There was a few tournaments and competitions so the elevators got busy.

    We were given a beautiful room with lots of space for a cot that accommodated an extra person. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool is lovely although busy… And the heated tiles were a nice touch around the pool area. Would definitely book at this hotel again.

    The room was somewhat clean. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner not refilled. We didn’t receive complimentary water, which has not been the case in the past. My son spilled juice on the carpet. When we wiped it up with a towel, the towel was black. Carpets in desperate need of cleaning. Cracked tiles in the shower. No free breakfast please provided, which we were aware of before arriving. Three floors were occupied by hockey players who were out of control and the staff did little to address. We had to leave the pool twice because of the hockey players and their parents failing to supervise them.

    Was definitely not a fan of the $35 parking charge. This is for outdoor, non-covered self-parking. Might have felt a little better about it if they actually used some of that $$ to maintain the lot. It was ice-covered and not salted. We didn’t eat at the restaurant this time, but we have had dinner at Buchanan’s before and it was a good alternative to the Keg.

    The pool area was chaotic. Kids jumping into the hot tub…..canon balls into the bigger pool. splashing all the tables and chairs on the pool deck. A kid jumped right on my in the pool. Really dangerous behaviour. Assuming the parents were in the room but ….

    The check-in experience was bad. I was served by a gentleman Sapi (I hope I remember it correctly). He showed a poker face without any smile throughout the process. I couldn't understand his words well because his voice was low. His last sentence was about some free cookies I didn't understand clearly. I asked him to repeat it once, and he just repeat in the same tune and style and then stopped there. I didn't get it. I said I'm sorry that I didn't get it. I was surprised that he said he already repeated over ten time and didn't say anything more. Another lady behind the counter brought the cookies to me. Besides it, the room was clean and nice. Great location. Other staffs are friendly. I hope it's just my bad luck.

    Can be improved: Rooms are basic for the price. Our door had a half inch gap in it when closed, so we heard noise late night and early morning. Refrigerator was noisy. It was especially noisy being located near the elevator. If you are a light sleeper like myself, I highly recommend ear plugs and request not to be near the elevators (or find another place to stay).

    We stayed on the 17th floor, and since it was winter with no leaves on the trees, we had a clear view of the American Falls. However, as mentioned by other guests in previous reviews, during the summer the trees may partially block the view. In that case, staying on the highest floor (19th floor) may offer a clearer, unobstructed view. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and we would consider staying here again.

    Falls view room had the falls far away and the view covered by trees. Front desk staff was unhelpful. Food in the restaurant was average. Restaurant closes Breakfast at 11:00, they don't open for lunch, and opens back in the evening. We did not get the cleaning service to clean our room, but requested fresh towels twice and they never came.

    The doorman Toni was a highlight. My recommendation for this establishment primary is make sure there's towels in the pool that were not when we were there, but we found some in the gym. And they should move their smoking area. Currently their smoking area is not far from the front door in the VIP parking area. Each time I parked my daughter would have to get out on the same side as the smokers. And she found this disgusting. Overall, it's a great place in the staff was very good especially Tony, but I think they need to move their smoking area away from VIP parking and I'm sure the towels were just due to a busy season. The breakfast was fairly standard of course though I don't think it compares with higher end hotels. But this was good value. It's nice that there's a Starbucks in the lobby and I can't say enough about how helpful Tony was to us.

    Hotels are cheapimg out on the basics and it ruins the experience of staying at a nice place. There's no amenities in the room included. If you want to order room service (which is already high priced items) there's a $5 fee to deliver to the room!! Otherwise, go pick it up yourself from the restaurant. How stupid

    Very clean, housekeeping daily (including the tub I had used a sparkly bath bomb in, and was intending to clean myself before we left!!). Warm and helpful staff. Arcade by the pool which was a fun surprise. Spa was very accommodating. The price was very cheap since we booked through Expedia and because it’s off season, but I’d definitely pay summer prices.     Overall, we had a great stay. The service from the front desk, housekeeping, and the restaurant was excellent, and the environment was clean and comfortable. The only thing that could be improved is that when we first lifted the duvet, we found a body hair on the bed, which was quite off-putting, though we just brushed it off and moved on. Also, the quality of the sofa bed mattress could be better. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

    The front staff were courteous and welcoming, parking was easy and close (wish it was underground or covered with cameras being Niagara Falls but we can’t always get what we want). The room was very nice and clean, papa johns is right across the road for late night snacking. All in all I hope the double tree is available for my next Niagara vacation.

    Rooms were nice to pull the sauna and the hot tub were fantastic. I was extremely mad that when I got there there was a fee each day for parking. I will not be returning to this hotel because of that. Other than that, the staff was nice. The other people staying there were extremely nice like I said the only thing that made me mad was the parking.

    No heat in the room. We had to have a technician come to the room at midnight to try to fix the heater. It was only a little warmer when he finished. He left a space heater just in case. Not at all what I expected for a high end hotel! As well, not even a pen or paper in the room.

    We had a great stay. The property is in excellent in condition and is nearby to the Fallsview side of Niagara Falls. Lots to do nearby. The adjacent properties are a little odd, mostly run down motels or parking lots, but only a block from the fallsview casino. Staff were great and the pool is amazing!

    Due to large group of young crowd, there was excessive noise and chatter beyond midnight on the floor I was located. Housekeeping was responsive when I asked for room to be cleaned when I returned in the afternoon and to have the hairdryer replaced as it was not working.

    Rooms, towels & pillows felt clean. My stay was going well until students literally started playing hockey in the hallways right in front of our rooms while the parents stood around and had a party in the hallway of the hotel, allowing their kids to run and scream and hit our door with the hockey puck. They watched us walk into our room after a long day, and continued partying in the hallway. We were unable to sleep until midnight when they stoped the ruckus.

    The receptionist was extremely rude, dismissed us instantly and told us our room was not ready. It felt like we were wasting her time. We waited in the lobby and checked back after half an hour. Unfortunately we got the same person and was turned away with no explanation. I understand that rooms may not be ready, especially at an early check in. However, everyone who lined up before and after us during that hour got their rooms and cookies. We were never offered cookies neither. No one on our team had an issue with their room. We were told to wait until we got a notification by the app. Line ups were long. It took 15 minutes just to get to the reception. We were the only family waiting in the lobby. After an hour of waiting, we stopped another receptionist. It was now 4:15. Almost immediately she informed us the room was ready. When we went up, there were no signs of cleaners in the hallway or rooms being prepared. There were no apologies or explanation, we were just dismissed. It definitely felt like we were targeted and mistreated. We are a family of 5 with a toddler. We are so clueless as to why. The only reason I can think of is that we’re the only visible minority checking in. It was an hour of wasted time. I have never experienced this level of customer service at any hotel stay.

    I was locked out of my room due to a fault with the key card system (25min) which caused me to miss my pre-booked shuttle to a connecting coach. I asked if the hotel could cover the Uber fare ($21CAN) so I could get to my coach. The manager was dismissive and accusatory; 'stuff' happens and I that I should have planned better. Not a great experience.

    Although the breakfast was not free with the room, the prices were reasonable, the food was of excellent quality, and the service provided was attentive and considerate. Staff consistently were helpful and thoughtful, and the lobby was a welcoming, comfortable setting. We also appreciated how much was in walking distance from the hotel, getting to the falls or the downtown area within 15 minutes, and to many restaurants and other hotels even more quickly. A minor quibble is that, since we needed to use laundry facilities, the laundry area had only a single washer and dryer available. In all, we would very happily return to the Doubletree Fallsview for our next trip to Niagara Falls.

    The room was large and had a great view. I appreciate that we didnt need a car and could to go the downtown area for food and fun. I loved the pool and it being open late. The steak bistro restaurant was great had it for breakfast and dinner. Although it was a bit pricey it was enjoyable.

    This was a very nice hotel. Both the exterior and interior were lovely. The landscaping made me feel like I was in the woods, instead of an urban setting. Also, the staff was very welcoming. The only complaint I have is that both room service and the Starbucks in the lobby, did not start service until 7, 7:30 am. Perhaps it is the off-season for them so they can’t afford to start earlier.

    They are about a 25 minute drive to Niagara on the Lake (which we wanted to visit on the way home). The hotel has a Starbucks - big plus in my book. Room was as described - the falls could be seen clearly directly in the middle of our window (no partial view where you need to be a contortionist to get a glimpse). They do charge 44.00 to park - but you can keep your car there all day after check out. So, Thumbs Up!

    The only thing i didnt like was the price for parking your vehicle at the hotel. I understand they want to charge, but we pay enough to stay at your hotel and we get this extra $35 per day to park. The other part is you can park across the street at parking lots, (yes i didnt know until after) for $10 all day. So feel the greed of the hotel is a bit to much.

    I reserved a room wih a fallsview and my room faced the American falls, however all i could see were tree tops. So disappointing.     Terrific view from room 1715. Fast elevators. King size bed and pillows so comfortable. Large bathroom…but tricky - pull handle to activate shower.     We went for a girl's weekend and used the spa. Massage and facial were amazing. The staff very friendly. Drinks at the bar were good. The only very small shadow to the whole trip was the 40 something dollars fee of parking per day on top of the room. If you can, park around.

    Didn’t appreciate the door being banged on at 11:07 am when we were getting ready. We struggled for 1/2 hour to get the shower turned off with having to have maintenance up to help us. Paying what we do for hotels I really believe a 1/2 hour grace period should be quite understandable and reasonable.

    The property was nice. The room was clean. Parking was expensive but expected in such a touristy town. The staff were not overly nice. The main problem though was the air conditioning did not work. I thought it might be a room issue but the hotel was overly warm. I turned our thermostat down to 60 and it never got cool. Not good for a middle aged woman.

    We were told we’d get a city view but instead got a roof view. When booking, the hotel should have been transparent as then we would have chosen another room.     Hotel was clean and felt safe - even though it was surrounded by an area that looked unsafe. You can easily walk to the Falls tourist areas. Comfortable beds. Shower was very unsafe - difficult to even figure out how to turn it on and once wet / the shower floor was as slick as ice. No rubber mat in the bathroom so we had to use a hand towel inside the shower floor to keep from slipping. This needs to be addressed before a bad accident happens.

    It was OK but there were some issues. The hotel is clean but it shows its age. Check in was fast. Breakfast was really great. They SMS multiple times to ask about our stay. That being said shower gel was missing, they replaced coffee and towels but didn't pick up the trush and no extra roll of toilet paper. I replied to one of their SMS and they immediately replied back that they will send up toiletries. It never happened. Overall got the impression their best days are past or maybe they are struggling, or are overworked. I think it's an OK hotel for a short stay but I will try another one next time I visit Niagara.

    Hottub is so chlorinated that it burns your eyes so we don’t bother anymore. Pool seems to be clean and clear though. “Falls view” is a loose term as some rooms are advertised as US falls view. We booked the full view and although we could see the mist from the Canadian falls we could not actually see them. DO NOT pay extra for full view. It’s not true. Hotel staff were great in bringing up extra coffee! Will stay again but will never trust the idea of spending extra to have a full view of the falls.

    The Aveda spa was closed the one evening & day we were there, but I had been at the spa about 15 years ago and remember loving the experience! I would have tried to book a massage again, if it were open. Our suite was facing the “river” and it was lovely to see the water in the distance and the Skywheel at night. I imagine you would be able to see the nightly fireworks quite well, though at quite a distance back. We walked down to the falls and watched from across the street. The hotel was lovely, I would definitely stay there again!

    We paid for premium parking yet advised it is not available on site. Later, the other staff led us to “premium parking” and gave us another step to follow that did not seem to be mandatory according to front desk. Another situation occurred at hotel breakfast as we were stopped abruptly by staff when we were leaving even though we requested for room charge. I enjoyed the room and view as well as location, but there were too many inconvenience dealing with staffs I cannot claim this was a satisfactory experience.

    I have travelled a great deal and my experience with the Double Tree was wonderful. The Doubletree Fallsview was not only spectacular with the view from the 19th floor, but I was so impressed with all that helped me at the front desk. I would like express my many thanks to Safi at the front desk. He was so kind and friendly. He was so helpful with my WiFi issues. My experience with the Buchanen Restaurant was also very good.

    The property is beautiful - lodge styling and looks well maintained. Front desk staff were courteous and didn’t give me any trouble with questions or luggage storage. We stayed in a fallsview room on the 19th (top) floor and the view didn’t disappoint. Breakfast in the restaurant on the 2nd floor was good and not too pricey (not included in stay) and there was a small Starbucks area in the lobby to sit and grab a coffee or small snack. Hotel is conveniently located near a Blue line WEGO bus as well as good food options and not a long walk from Clifton Hill or the falls. Only issue is coming back up the steep hills so wear comfortable shoes. Didn’t get to try the spa amenities but I’d stay here again honestly.

    Blocked sink in the washroom and shower didn’t work either. Just the room itself is never enough to enjoy the night. Washrooms are equally important as well especially if you have kids.

    Helpful friendly staff, easy check in/out. Clean room with good view of falls considering set back from the main falls view. Good excellent pool - a little heavy on the chlorine (everyone's eyes got sore). Very good value all round but room feels like it needs a bit of maintenance/upkeep. Comfy clean beds. Short walk to everything (10 minutes to waterfront/both resorts/clifton hill), plenty of nearby restaurants/bars etc. Had a great stay and will definitely stay again when we next visit.

    Great hotel. The sauna next to the pool is a nice touch. The shower pressure went down a little at night halfway through the shower but overall great experience. Fireworks at 10pm if your room has a partial view.

    Stayed here for a holiday weekend in a king room with soaker tub and view of the falls. Everything from check in to check out was amazing. The hotel is in such a perfect and walkable location to everything. Pool and jacuzzi was great. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Niagara Falls!
