Reviews
Guests generally appreciate the hotel's location, staff, and cleanliness, but have issues with hidden fees, parking costs, and room amenities. The manager on duty is often praised for his professionalism and helpfulness.
- Convenient location
- Helpful and professional staff, especially the manager on duty
- Hidden fees and expensive parking
- Lack of room amenities (e.g., refrigerator, working AC)
- 2.5/5
The room was clean.dime. Bed was comfortable. They charged an excessive parking fee ($45 CAD) that was not disclosed on the listing. The hotel is literally across the street from a $10 parking lot. The walk to the Falls was further than they listed. The neighborhood felt a bit dodgy-er than was implied. On-site bar staff sat us, and then ignored us until we left. Music in outside lounge area was excessively loud, especially considering we were the only ones there. Desk staff didn't know to tell us at which door to park to minimize hauling luggage. Fireplace that we paid extra for did not work.
- 5/5
The patio was amazing. Being able to bring our dog everywhere in the hotel made our family very happy! And he was very happy too. It was a maze to find the way to get in to our room.
- 4/5
Location was excellent. Staff were friendly, they provided extra towels quickly and with no fuss. Room was very clean. There was a weird smell the last night in the hallway. Either chlorine or terpentine but it was gone in the morning. Parking was a bit expensive compared to lots surrounding the Inn.
- 3.5/5
Breakfast was good but only a few options for guests who prepaid for the included breakfast and limited coffee. Property needs a lot of renovations. Our room was far away from the entrance on the 3rd floor and lots of heavy doors to keep travelling through. Pillows were too bulky to comfortably sleep on and we paid $30 extra per night for an extra bed…that was a roll away cot that had no support. Parking a total rip off $39 per night to park at your hotel. $10 to park directly across the street. The floors were being sealed during our stay and the chemicals smell was overwhelming even smelled it during breakfast.
- 3.5/5
The outdoor bar was very enjoyable . The service was exceptional and the staff were friendly and polite . The carpets seem to be worn in the hallway . I booked a breakfast reservation and I got a text message at 6 a.m. for the wrong time . I'm not an early riser to begin with . Not impressed .
- 3.5/5
Odd that you have an elevator but had to use stairs to complete the walk to our 3rd floor room

Loved the restaurant, bar, and speakeasy. Rooms were clean. Staff was great! Very dog friendly. Speak easy was a bit musty smelling - needs a dehumidifier turned on. Outdoor courtyard green turf looks dated & out of place. Everything else was really beautiful. Maybe replace turf with wood chips and flower/greenery planter boxes around sides.

Location and very nice person at the desk. The bed pillows were so huge, there was no way a normal person can sleep on them and the bed mattress, omg… the worst I have ever slept on.
- 4.5/5
Room was great, and friendly staff.

We stayed here New Year’s Eve and the place was perfect. Exactly what we all needed as a group celebrating the new year arrival. The staff at Old Stone inn were amazing, accommodating , and very helpful. We owe the staff and management a huge thank you for the most amazing visit.
- 5/5
Breakfast/brunch was the best - all fresh made.
- 3/5
A fridge in the room would be helpful.
- 5/5
Only thing missing that would be nice is a fridge in the room. Other than that it was a perfect stay!
- 5/5
Everything was great ! The front desk staff were very helpful, and dinner at the restaurant was incredible!
- 5/5
Pet friendly. Good location. Parking is too expensive, though.
- 5/5
Immediately at check-in, we were greeted by such friendly staff. The lobby and restaurants were all Decorated so well for Christmas!! The food in the restaurant was Amazing!! We just had a small problem with our first nights dinner and it was Quickly resolved ,very iprofessionally by the manager Manthan!! It was a nice walk to the Falls, then the festival of lights and then to Clifton Hill from the hotel Thank you for a great stay with our Furry Friend
- 2/5
The room has no mirrors. Room was not really well kept … dirty walls. I don’t know if I will return for the price. The food was cold at the restaurant during breakfast very disappointing
- 4/5
Room was very nice, bed comfortable. An in room fridge would have been better
- 5/5
Loved the Christmas decor and the Jingle Bar!!
- 4/5
Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean room.
- 2/5
No lights in hallways had to use phone light to find elevators. Not safe for single travelers
- 5/5
Beautiful spotless room. Very comfy bed.
- 2/5
The room was really nice and the jetted tub was amazing, but for what we paid to stay there, I would have preferred a room that was quieter.
- 4/5
Poor service in the holiday bar. The boozy coffee were nice. No fridge in our room! Who does that?!?!
- 5/5
Everything was nice and welcoming

Elevator broken, pool closed.
- 4/5
Clean and spacious

I asked for a room with outdoor access as we have dog and was told they were sold out. I could see in the windows no one was using several of them if any. I asked if I could get one closer to an exit and was told no they were all suites and would cost extra, which online were cheaper than what I paid for the room. Front desk check in wasn’t smooth, I’ve never had a hotel make it unnecessarily more complicated than necessary considering all the information was inputed when I booked online. The dome experience once included dinner options and I was told it was this time. It was the same menu as the jingle bar which we had food at earlier. I was told the 50$ fee would go towards the purchase of food then told it was a booking fee. We had reservations for 6 and setting for 4. We waited 35mins to order drinks and another 20 to get them. After that the service got better but not the experience we thought it would be since there were only 2 tables outside and two servers. Having the same menu in domes and jingle bar we ordered the cookies twice. The first time she said there were three, then said she was mistaken there were two (we had three kids with us). Then when we ordered it again they brought three cookies but charged us the same about both times. I bring my family here because I had a good experience for new years and the service seems to be off ever since. Hopefully it gets better going forward and less confusion amongst staff.
- 5/5
Great bed, perfect pillows, beautiful hotel and decor.
- 5/5
We are always very comfortable staying here. The room (109) is large, the beds comfortable and the furnishings are lovely.
- 4/5
The team was very nice and friendly. Room was clean, spacious.
- 2/5
All of above.
- 4/5
The location of the hotel could not be beaten. It is central between Victoria avenue, Fallsview Blvd and the falls attractions which means we were never anymore than 10 minutes walk from anything.
- 2/5
It was disappointing that they wanted to charge for amenities when the pool was not in service and the coffee and water I didn’t even touch it and when I asked not to be charge they said we have to charge you one night at least, I refused asked for the manager and then they finally agreed not to charge for the two nights of amenities. I think the hotel is nice but just the lobby area so is totally different on the inside.
- 5/5
I am also still annoyed I was charged for an additional guest but their emails say no charge for kids. When I brought it up to them at check in they said that was on hotels.com. Hotels.com support had me going back and forth but never credited me the money.
- 3/5
Staff very friendly, room felt dated. Very cute gift shop.
- 5/5
The desk staff was really warm and welcoming, not sure if breakfast was offered. To be completely honest there were minor things that stood out but overall everything was really good. Last minute quick getaway and so glad we did!!!
- 5/5
This was our second time staying and both experiences were fantastic! It’s a quiet stay, very cozy and rustic feeling. The staff is very kind, the bar is lowkey but fun. All attractions are close/walkable
- 3/5
The Flour Mill restaurant was fantastic! The hotel is overall beautiful and walking distance to the casino, convention center and other great restaurants. The bathroom hand soap was empty in our room when we got there and night time is a little noisy.
- 1/5
Took 45 minutes to get me checked in and staff double charged my card. Not impressed
- 3/5
First room smelled like mold but they moved us without issue. Pillows are too big and puffy. Pool was closed, room was okay but small. I wouldn’t stay there again but it was alright for the price. Hallways have very strong air freshener smell which I hate.
- 4/5
My stay at this hotel was for work but I wish the staff was more accommodating. I could not secure a late checkout which made my morning between my sessions hectic, parking wasn’t allowed until the end of the conference. I disappointed the pool was closed and there is no microwave on site. My key card also stopped working and had to get replaced multiple times.
- 3/5
Pool was closed for maintenance when we arrived (not indicated on website and we were travelling with children). Asked them to perhaps “comp” the $40 parking charge, or additional $45 we were charged for our 13yr old. We were told later that evening that manager would discount the $17.99 “facility fee”. Room had a broken toilet - wouldn't flush. Maintenance was sent up, but individual had no idea how to fix it. Instead my husband dealt with it every time we flushed toilet. Husband told them when we checked out that they shouldn’t be putting other guests in that room until toilet was repaired properly. Again, no offer to ‘make it right’. Only saving grace of the stay was the fabulous food and wait staff at the on site Flour Mill Scratch Kitchen. Had both dinner and breakfast there. Worth every penny.
- 4/5
It is conveniently located and safe
- 5/5
Very friendly and accommodating
- 1/5
We arrived at the property and knowing that our rooms where ready the made us wait until exact 4pm to check in. That's fine, but the day that we should check out, we went for breakfast and they went into our rooms and removed all our items that was left there before 11am without authorization. I hate that, because nobody should be authorize to get into your rooms before the time that you check out. My wife shoes and some other items were removed and we couldn't find them, until my wife went to the cleaning card ladies and found them on a garbage bad. That is unacceptable. I don't like the service of this hotel at all. For this kind of service they suppose to be the cheapest hotel in the area. Parking so expence and they never tell you when you make a reservation that you need to pay extra for the parking. Anyway, everything on this experience was bad with them
- 5/5
“It was a great hotel, and my dog especially loved it! The staff were welcoming and made sure we were both comfortable. It’s wonderful to find a place that’s truly pet-friendly — we had a great time!
- 4/5
Great value, great food. No seating hostess often and hard to get seated, but the food is excellent. I recommend reservations for breakfast lunch dinner.
- 1/5
45$ on site parking. Terrible online check in process where they make you sign some crazy waiver. Towels are made of sandpaper, toilet paper is made of just straight sand. Barely any hot water or water pressure. TV the size of an iPad. I will NEVER come back here.
- 3/5
I am a repeat guest, booked for two nights during the week for a special occasion. The Hotel was practically empty during this time and we were placed in a room next to the pool with no window or view of the outside, this room was also pretty noisy from guests at the pool. Would have been nice if they offered another room considering the Hotel was not full.
- 5/5
Very beautiful room clean and beautiful restaurant with amazing staff
- 3/5
I wasn't terribly impressed with this hotel. I booked it because I was under the impression that I was staying at a quaint inn, when this hotel is actually just an old hotel that is being marketed as something it isn't. Our room was listed at $350 for the night, plus $45 or so for parking (there is a $10 a day lot immediately in front of the hotel that I wish I had been aware of before I booked). Our room was small, the carpet was thread-bare in places, there were a small amount of fuzzy analog TV channels to choose from (this issue reallu bugged me - I haven't seen analogue TV in a hotel in decades!), the shower was one of those plastic inserts that you'd see in an old Econolodge, the door to the room was hinged backwards so it opened into the hallway (this is a weird thing I've never seen in a hotel before; because the door swings outward, you could theoretically use a credit card to jimmy open the door from the hall) and there wasn't a chain on the door. The hotel was walking distance from downtown, which was nice, but for $50 more we could have stayed in the Hilton that is at the center of downtown and houses three restaurants (IHOP, The Keg and Ruth's Chris Steak House). In the case of the Old Stone Inn, boutique simply means expensive.
- 5/5
Very nice stay. The food at the restaurant was excellent but very expensive.
- 4/5
Clean room and pet friendly
- 1/5
17.99 for WIFi…the only hotel in Niagara that charges for Wifi. Resort fee another 17.99 for pool access and bottled water. ummmm.. we have to pay to use the pool and hydrate. If you are family travelling…additional room card-key is $10. cash for some reason. Nadine is unwavering in her dismissive hospitality. Once you pay your bill.. she suddenly becomes deaf and busy on her computer. Trust me! Doubletree has warm cookies and a much more inviting checkin and check out. To be fair… Nadine is clearly a new employee who put me on hold searching for someone who could reverse the 17.99 because “thats Expedias problem.. not mine..” sigh. DO NOT STAY AT THE Old Stone boutique Hotel. There is nothing boutique about it. If you do, lift up the mattress.. and you will see some last guests bodily fluids.
- 3/5
We were able to bring our dogs which we love. However I feel like the floor they put us on is specifically for dogs (which is fine) but I don’t think it gets cleaned properly. Starting from the elevator you can smell uncleaned dog pee. Same in the halls on the 3rd floor. Our rooms didn’t get cleaned even when dogs weren’t in there. It was really dark in both rooms & smelled disgusting. I feel like if you’re not sure of how to clean dog pee maybe don’t have carpet in the halls, rooms or elevator because if a proper cleaner isn’t used the smell will stay. We tried using the swimming pool but it was ridiculously cold. This is I believe our 4th stay and every time we’ve had issues with the room keys. They randomly stop working and we have to go back to the lobby to get them reactivated. It is a huge inconvenience when your room isn’t close to the reception. Their doors in the hall are so heavy that if any1 walks through they make a loud noise. It will wake you up.we noticed this last trip too. I contacted the property to set up something special since it was my moms 60th birthday, they replied once and when I answered questions I never heard back, I’m assuming because it was only 6 of us but I wanted to a set up a nice brunch for her and wasn’t afraid of the cost. I’m not sure I’ll be back after staying here quite a few times in the last 2 years. Pity.
- 5/5
Excellent stay
- 4/5
The decor and atmosphere is excellent. We love the medieval feel of the bar and restaurant. They really need a proper coffee shop though. As a person who loves a quality coffee every morning, I couldn't get one here. Their cafe sold the same low quailty coffee you can make in your room, but they charged $7 for it! Now that's ballsy.
- 5/5
It was amazing , clean, quiet, warm friendly staff
- 5/5
Loved that they had an electric charger
- 5/5
Nice place
- 2/5
Pool not heated, no internet service that day, outdated carpet and drapes
- 5/5
10/10 would come back and stay again
- 1/5
$40 for parking which is insane. I fell in the bathtub because it was bubbled up and there was so much water underneath it that I couldn’t shower in it.
- 1/5
Horrible slow service- even after what was supposedly an online pre check in. Car got broken into. TV didn’t work. Just yuck.
- 5/5
We had a ground floor room that had walk out to the courtyard. It was extremely convenient to the parking area and accessible for bringing in luggage, etc. It was within walking distance of casino and shops, restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Beautiful place with excellent staff
- 4/5
Overall the stay was good. We were here for 3 nights. The first night was bad. At 5am the tv/fridge blew. Power went out to everything in our toom except the washroom. My husband went to the desk. Night staff could not fix the issue so he changed our room. So at 5:30am we had to move all our stuff to the 2nd floor room. Room was very clean and comfortable. The rest of the stay was uneventful.
- 4/5
Too short to really make an informed opinion but the place could use some updating. Too many different types of carpeting and soiled in a lot of areas.
- 3/5
Great little Boutique Hotel, with walking distance to everything. Very quite and great fine dining. The carpets in the rooms really need replacing, and the TV in the room was not working properly due to poor signal and snowflakes on every channel. Really time for an upgrade, considering your high rates.
- 2/5
We had to return to the front desk three times because our room keys wouldn’t open our door. The room wasn’t very clean, had a strange odour and was extremely small. The tv was awful. Every channel was fuzzy. Wouldn’t stay here again or recommend. Especially for the price.
- 4/5
It was convenient to the falls, other attractions.parking st hotel wss wsy too expensive but scross the street was much cheaper.the nightstand was heavily damaged needs to be fixed or replaced.the pool was not heated, so unusable. The tecrpyion atra was lovely and decorated for the seadon.
- 4/5
Very happy overall with our stay and will definitely stay again. The location is perfect for walking to Clifton Hill, Fallsview Casino, Skylon Tower and to the Falls. Very well kept hotel and so much character conpared to the chain hotels. Our room was a good size and the bed was relatively comfortable. The hotel was quiet and not too crowded which was great. The little courtyard is so nice and next time we go, will definitely book a courtyard view room. Only (very minor) complaint was that there was no fridge in our room and only coffee and we are both tea drinkers.
- 5/5
Old motel” boutiqued”.
- 3/5
Stay was great but what is not great is the number of emails I received for a one night stay it’s ridiculous
- 3/5
The room was clean and comfortable. We were satisfied with the condition. We were unhappy about the extra $18 facility fee that we were charged upon arrival. Additionally, the $20 parking was twice as expensive as surrounding parking options. These extra fees actually resulted in the room, being more expensive than nicer hotels in the area. I would not stay here again as a result. It seemed underhanded.
- 4/5
Staff was excellent and their way of communication is modern via text and email which I prefer. Hotel itself is clean and updated compared to most others around the area. Overall would stay here again.
- 5/5
felt very cottagey
- 2/5
Check in and check out staff were rude. The trying to kill someone with kindness and over the top passive aggressive tone isn’t cool. Maintenance staff was extremely friendly, which made that passive aggressiveness from previous staff stand out even more than it already did. You shouldn’t treat people like that. I won’t be back and won’t recommend to friends or family.
- 4/5
Great hotel, but lots of hidden fees ($40 a day parking, $20 resort fee, and other miscellaneous). If I would have known this before booking, I would have booked another hotel that fees we already covered in the cost.
- 3/5
Clean and nice confy bed and sheets. No fridge, noisy area of hotel by pool and ever- slamming hallway door
- 5/5
Great location! Reasonable price! Clean and quiet!
- 5/5
Clean and modern. Staff was friendly. Quick walk to the casino.
- 4/5
Overall, very nice property.
- 4/5
Staff was great. Super friendly.
- 5/5
Beautiful interior with antique touches mixed with contemporary. The outdoor area with the fire pits was lovely and live entertainment I loved. Easy walk to the falls and restaurants.
- 4/5
Decent location and quiet. Relative clean and decently maintained given it has operating a long time.
- 1/5
Room was circa 1980. Getting to the room was a maze. Front of the hotel is a vacant parking lot. Overall very disappointed. Given how it much it cost we felt ripped off. Not at all what the pictures made it look like. Very misleading. This isn’t an old stone mill.
- 3/5
room smelled of cigarettes. water in fridge was a nice touch. conveniently near venue.
- 5/5
Location and ambiance
- 5/5
Great hotel within walking distance to both the Falls and Clifton Hill areas. Very convenient for those with dogs. Beautiful courtyard and decent pool. Parking is a bit pricey at $40+tax per night. We had breakfast at the onsite restaurant and it was excellent, though a bit pricey, but it's Niagara Falls, everything is pricey. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!
- 5/5
Our room was a suite and had hot tub which was a great addition. Overall quite cozy place to stay.
- 5/5
Just as advertised. Close to everything and other than parking fee ($45) all was great.
- 5/5
Only one thing I could say for improvement, and I am probably being petty, the TV in the rooms need to be replaced. Very old and pixelated. Other than that we had a very nice stay at this Hotel. And I would love to know where they got their pillows cuz I just love them.
- 3/5
The room wasn’t the best. The ceiling was cracked, the wall had yellow patches and the air conditioner sucked. It was so hot in the room. Pool hours are not good either. It’s nice to have adult only hours until midnight. The place was cute in the lobby but that’s as far as it got. Definitely needs updated.
- 2/5
I like the size of our room, did not enjoy the air conditioner facing the headboard and TV was fuzzy and not clear.
- 5/5
Good place overall
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Fantastic rooms, lobby, dining and lounge area outside.
- 4/5
Excellent place to stay
- 4/5
Easy walk to the casino and to the other popular areas
- 3/5
Place overall is just okay.
- 5/5
Great location to get to Casino and restaurants
- 3/5
Don’t appreciate paying $45 for on site open parking in a gravel lot. Should have been free. Also WiFi did not work nor the TV reception.
- 5/5
Great Hotel and room. My family were confertable and so
- 4/5
The location was walking distance to Niagara Falls and the skyline tour so that was very convenient
- 1/5
Despite it shows pet friendly on expedia and accept my online checkin while i mentioned I have a cat , they refused accept me on arrival ! They said we only accept dog! i asked why you confirmed my checkin !? I told you i have cat! They said no one read those online checkin !! They ruined my vacation !!
- 5/5
:)
- 3/5
Check in-not overly friendly and didn’t even explain where the elevator was.
- 5/5
The hotel was pleasant, not sure why you have to pay extra for parking, they have a large lot in the back, or maybe they want a piece of the pie like everyone else, I think they have lots of parking, the building was old, but they try to maintain, I would stay again 😊
- 5/5
Nice place to stay. Have to pay for parking tjough
- 5/5
Access to evruthingvwalking distance
- 3/5
AC was not the best and the room was fairly warm. Staff didn't even acknowledge that this stay was for a birthday celebration during check-in. Usual check-in times at a hotel are 3pm and will usually accommodate for earlier but here check-in is at 4pm and an added charge if you want to come sooner. Not sure if it's new management or not but there are many other places to stay for the same pricing. Hotel and rooms are very clean with a nice scent throughout. I think its time for me to stay elsewhere moving forward. Very disappointing
- 5/5
Enjoyed the sitting area by the restaurant
- 5/5
Great location. Perfect walking distance to Clifton Hill and many restaurants. Staff were very friendly and the room was clean & comfortable.
- 2/5
At the time of booking we had mentioned we have and infant travelling with us, but there was no support for his bedding or hot water to sterilize his milk bottles.
- 5/5
a great hotel and a great stay in niagara
- 4/5
The hotel is clean , staff are good
- 3/5
Very cute property, good photo opportunities. Close walking distance to casino, OLG stage, Clifton hill and the falls. The hallways were very warm in the side of the hotel the the pool was located in. Pool looked beautiful, didn’t swim. Rooms were small and the bathroom fan didn’t work and toilet ran. Quick and easy check in and out process.
- 4/5
Lots of à la carte charges at this Hotel. A bit pricey for no digital cable. Analog television only with limited channels is not great. Nice larger refrigerator but no microwave. A bit grungy. Very expensive parking rate is being currently imposed upon the guest. Again it is an extra charge on top of a high room rate. Room was small and dank. May not stay again ever.
- 5/5
Staff members are all friendly and accommodating.
- 4/5
The staff at front lacked a bit of knowledge and enthusiasm. We asked a few questions about when the room would be ready it wasn’t clear. They were kind about it but not as friendly as normal hotel staff should be . Rooms were clean , very nice decor. Great location.
- 2/5
I liked the lobby.did not like the bar outside that bar and that hotel is not supposed to be a 4 star.maybe 3
- 5/5
Very nice!
- 4/5
Nice hotel. Maintenance was helpful. Extras for service and facility fees were a surprise.
- 4/5
Fan in washroom very loud. A door to give privacy and reduce noise at the sink area would be beneficial. Hook to hold hand towel at sink would be helpful. Light switch at front entrance would be helpful. Round Door knobs throughout hotel were very difficult to open. Restaurant was closed although Google said it was open. Coffee was great at the Market. Front desk was kind to give us extra water bottles.
- 1/5
I dislike paying for parking- check in was the worst experience out any hotel check in Ive ever had and traveling for work Im top Tier in multiple chains. Got too room and zero outlets worked. So no lamps television or cell phone charging. The bathroom light worked. Then planning too eat / drink there the bar was was closed at time of my check in at 7pm - beds were okay and room seemed clean but not a place I’d recommend. Too many other hotels in area too save yourself $40. Spend the extra and enjoy your trip.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Needs curved shower rods. Bedding is excellent, great sheets and pillows. Nice robes. Needs fridge and microwave. Good location, not far to falls. Front desk staff very nice. Great restaurant.
- 3/5
Lovely property close to the action.
- 5/5
Excellent location, expensive parking!
- 5/5
Love the atmosphere, it feels like home.
- 5/5
It’s nice and clean. Pool was cold but clean. Super quiet. Walkable to the casino and Clifton hill. Parking a vehicle was a little pricey but I didn’t care. I really have nothing bad to say.
- 4/5
Nice patio!
- 5/5
Very clean and well kept. Comfortable bed
- 5/5
Spectacular
- 2/5
Very disappointed with the stay. Check in took time and we were surprised with a very high parking rate ($45) and unexpected high Facility rates. When asked what the rate Facility fees provides, we were told bottled water in the room. The check in took time and seemed archaic, filling in forms on their IPad, including manual entry of credit card info. The location is not lively or ideal either. Hallways and the room had an odor and the carpets seemed old. Huge mistake in my planning on picking this hotel. I'm posting this in the hope others do not make the same error and find many better options nearby.
- 5/5
My parents had a lovely time and really enjoyed this hotel! The hotel was very accommodating on a surprise for them upon arrival to celebrate their wedding anniversary! Very appreciative
- 4/5
The price of the room was good but the onsite parking charge was overpriced. Not worth the cost. This hotel building is average but the staff are excellent.
- 4/5
Great location. We didn’t dine there but it looked nice. Some rooms need updating but the room we ended up in was nice.
- 2/5
I would not recommend for the price. The accommodations are dated and don’t align with what is on the website. The outdoor patio was not appealing. We had to pay $45 for parking and additional for a resort fee.
- 5/5
Very clean. Comfy beds and pillows. Close to the falls for walking back and forth.

When we went into our room the air conditioning was off. Hot. The ice bucket did not have a lid and the toilet was running. Had to wiggle the handle or take the lid off to push down the rubber value. We received a new ice bucket and maintenance came and looked at the toilet and when left still was doing this. Pricey for this hotel. When walking past the pool the chlorine smell was overpowering. Did put hold on my visa and says hold will not come off for 5 days. Not impressed. Will not stay here again.

The problem was he was going to do anything and not say anything. He's an incompetent child and everyone/s safety is at risk if you stay at Old Stone Inn because he will ignore whatever concern you have if he can.

Overall stay was so so. There was no microwave in our room and when we went to eat at the restaurant that was suppose to be open it was closed. I never saw the 1904 bar open all the 4 days we were there. We planned on breakfast there but again it was not open. (lock on the door). The pool water was cold . We had a garden view which wasn't much of a view. The fire pit had no propane. The patio area was nice and the decor as well. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Beds were good as well as shower was great. We were told we could get food from the patio but it took was closed. I suggest they update as to when the restaurant, bar and patio are actually opened on their website so travelers can go elsewhere if need be to eat or have drinks. A microwave even in the dining area would be nice.

Room smelt like wet dog, air conditioner which was needed for smell and heat was very noisy for sleeping and only coffee pods supplied were flavoured. Also though there were three adults checke in, there were only two towels. Really not worth the high price.

As AirANB owners in the states, we always look for excellent standards and Old Stone met most of them. It was comfortable, clean and welcoming. Extra fees and parking fees should have been disclosed in the on line checking process. I would return.
