The guy that checked us in was very nice and he's very helpful and made me want to stay again most definitely and made me happy where I set my money. Next morning of the lady I believe the same baby of Mexican descent was not okay and not helpful and disappointed me and she also is way too nosy about things she doesn't need to ask the extended Stay is not a necessarily a hotel she always like houses everyone was walking in the door don't like her and I'll make the staff's job very difficult because of her

I didnt even stay there, and they kept my money. Manager is uncooperative.

The property was quite nice but I had a kitchen suite ut the front desk had no utensils, pans or anything to use apart from one spoon and a cup. Bring your own kitchen gadgets if you're planning on using the kitchen

BOOKED 2 queens and they didnt reserve our Expedia booking. Card reader wasnt working. Room was not as as shown in the ad. The breakfast was not served. Computers, hot water, no coffee

Disappointed. We wanted to stay in a hotel with our wedding party for our wedding day and were met with stress and inconvenience. The service upon arrival was lackluster, we called multiple times to be let in for check in but were stranded outside until someone finally came back. Once we checked in we all went to our designated rooms, one of our friends noticed bedbugs on the pillow and immediately notified staff who then offered no new room and promised a sheet change by the morning which never happened throughout the booking of the room, everyone in that room had to then cram into one room, leaving fear of infestation and no space to rest for what was supposed to be a smooth celebration weekend for our wedding. We then had a back and forth with the manager who saw no inconvenience in 7 people sharing two beds because of their lack of cleanliness and infestation. We were only offered minimum reimbursement for this awful experience that left us disgusted, disappointed, and scared of bringing bedbugs home. Avoid room 301, and any room for that matter as this establishment does not care for its guests or their comfort and convenience.

This was a terrible and unsafe experience. We arrived late at night with children and were denied our reserved room. Staff appeared intoxicated and mentioned a cockroach problem. We were left stranded and forced to find another hotel. Extremely disappointing.

Clean and descent for a one night stay

The staff refused to change linens since "there was none left" and "housekeeping wasnt avail to make bed." When I arrived, I noticed th3e floor by bed was sticky, and the surfaces on nightstand were sticky. Then when I pulled back the bedding to examine since the room appeared used, and there was short black hair .... I immediately notified staff and eventually after attempting to gaslighting me it was hair from my non shedding maltipoo who had not been in the bed at all, they agreed to take the sheets and pillow cases but refused to replace the other bedding or clean the surfaces. She came back approx 3 mins later and handed me what I believe is the same wadded up sheets. I checked out. Additionally, their parking lot is the home to the homeless, and it appeared that some were doing drugs. It was a horrible experience. I have attempted refund, but Hotel.com wont answer phone, and directs me to the website where it only offers me "cancellation" issues. I will never use that hotel again - I should add it is not what the pics portray it to be and they lie abt the "free breakfast" - its a package of oatmeal. I will also never use hotels.com again.

Everything was good but a few more amenities would be nice. I got to the room and in the restroom there was only a bar of face soap and body soap. Shampoo had to be obtained from the lobby, and no lotion or conditioner was made available. Vending machine also isn’t in good condition. Some utensils would’ve been nice as well.

The place is good they upgraded to a suite I travel for work. I got there late. I had to wait to be audited, but the stuff was really good. He actually upgraded me too. I had a sweet, but they upgrade me to a better suite and it’s really good

When I arrived, the lady at the reception desk was busy doing laundry and had no time to handle the check-in. The service and organization were very disappointing. I would not recommend staying here.

Well room was fine .. but the drain in the bathtub,,,, well I like to say have a little friend building up ... and it's little friend that was on the floor on the side of the toilet.... the guy at the front desk was awesome awesome awesome awesome.

Average room. Cleanish, but a bit dingy. Bears the scars of having been a cheaper flop at some point. Cheaply refurbished kitchenette and bath. Room smelled like smoke. About what you'd expect for $100.

Not kidding, waited 10 mins for someone to show at the front desk so I could check in. There was 1 employee that was working on a iPad and kept calling to someone in the laundry room and telling me to "wait a minuet, wait a minuet". Finally a staff member pushing a laundry bin arrived and I was able to check in. The "grab and go" breakfast was lacking. A couple of tiny muffins and a granola bar. Both the coffee and the hot water for oatmeal or hot chocolate were kid temperature so disappointing there too. I'm having to travel to the Concord area a few more times, I will not be staying here again.

The property needs a new coat of paint here and there. I also saw a few small roaches in our bathroom, so the place needs to be fumigated. Other then that, it fulfilled it's function.

We waited 30 minutes to check in because the staff was out for his break. No water was the big issue. We had to use bottle water for cleaning and flushing. We decided to check out early. No coffee or water supply as we supposed to have breakfast included. Price and location was good.

The whole place was a reck. Way worst than motel 6. For $139.00 was a joke. Sink rusted, white plaster around the fossil, never finish. Border coming off around the bathroom floor. Carpet in hallway BIG STAIN, I have pictures. Complained to the manger, his respond was so what. And stated he didn't care about my review. If I had anything to do with Extended Stay, I would be ashame to admit it. Really needed to shut down until brought up to the name. I just stayed in an Extended Stay in Readford, Illinois was nice. Trust me this one EXTENDED STAY AMERICA SUITES, Pleasant Hill, Buskirk Ave, is a DISGRACE to used that name and for EXPEDIA to have them on their site. I stay in hotels all the time, for whatever reason, I travel, this was the worst!!

Keeping it real I don't operate a camera much and if there were an area that needs investment it's laundry and lack of depth in this potentially break even space. The lobby has a friendly and helpful vibe yet it works like a well oiled machine. Communications were at a high level and things went well so many times. Extended Stay caters to a diverse crowd of travelers way better than the others. I enjoyed the interaction and my needs were met and exceeded by the staff at this Pleasant Hill / Concord / Walnut Creek location.

Hotel houses the homeless shelter

As we entered the room, we were immediately assaulted by the smell of cigarette smoke. The carpet was filthy with visible stains. The bathtub was also stained. The complimentary breakfast was always out of coffee, and just had muffins to go with hot water for tea.

Not a nice place compared to comfort in homewood by Hilton or others in area. It is older, dingy and outdated with ok prices for what you get. They should make the rooms larger if people are staying for extended periods as they’re pretty tiny and cramped with outdated bathrooms and no soaps shampoos or amenities you’d get a lot a regular hotel or even motel 6 I’d definitely recommend motel 6 over extended stay or any other hotel for that matter. Nothing fancy or special and has an old rundown feel to it and weird food smells everywhere Also people are loud above and walls paper thin so you hear everything as if in the same room

I requested a king sized bed for me and my partner. When we got to the room it was two full sized beds. So I changed it to a Queen because it was the only thing available. Then that room was hot, the ac was out of service so I had to change the a second time for the third room. It was my time using hotels.com and it was a very frustrating first experience.

The customer service waa great and the frint desk rep Zee was truly a nice addition and very friendly with all customers. The bed after a few days showed its age and the complimentary kitchen ware was unavailable, so maybe next time I will call the extended stay to see if things are available or not. I enjoyed being close by the freeway and ro a lot different foods an entertainment.

This property was dirty. They didn’t have stuff for the kitchen and my family did not take a hot shower the whole time we were there the water wasn’t even warm. It was just cold.Left after the first day it was so terrible.

Overall the room was clean, had a kitchenette, bed was clean and comfortable, I gave 4 stars only because there was hardly any hot water. I mentioned to the front desk at check out which they refunded $19 back to me which was very kind and unexpected.

I booked the room pretty late at night, when I arrived at the property I had to wait for the person at the front desk, he was on his break. It's now after midnight and myself and another guest were told we would have to wait until the night audit was done and it could take anywhere from an hour or two. Long story short, David the gentleman at the desk was able to accommodate my reservation and I did not have to wait.

While the bed was very comfortable, the rest of the property could use an update. No hair dryer, shampoo, etc in the bathroom. The kitchenette sink was rusted. The bathroom had peeling paint. If it hadnt been so late when we arrived, we would have gone to another hotel.

Centrally located and near the freeway (that you cannot hear)

Its a serviceable place. The walls are a little thin though between units. The rom next to me had loud maybe drunk people banging around and woke me up around 2:00 am...that isn't the hotels fault. I pounded on the wall and they got quieter. It's clean and comfortable.

This is the second time we have stayed at one of your hotels. Love the bed but hate the fact that we alway have to ask for coffee cups. Could you stock at least 2 foam cups in a unit. That would be really helpful

The room had its issues. the smoke detector was wrapped in plastic, the eye hole in the door was stuffed with tissue and the tub was old and dirty. This property has a great deal of potential. I think its one of those you get what you pay for.

The room was mostly clean but trash had not been emptied, prior to our arrival. The mattress was rock hard and uncomfortable. The site was not super clean (elevator had lots of food crumbs and general dirt on the floor). The 'breakfast' consisted of coffee with no cream or milk available, oatmeal packets, hot cocoa packets, and just one flavor of small muffin. There were no coffee makers in the rooms either.

Fairly clean, used soap left in shower/tub from last guest. No shampoo in room, had to ask at desk. Window curtain slid off the rod when curtain was opened.

Outside dirty, room smells of smoke in the non smoking room. Bathroom floor buckled. Towels were pale yellow.

Those in the room next to us were very noisy, even past midnight. The hotel staff were very nice & polite.

Many things either didn't work or were missing. Asking for things to be fixed at night, impossible.

The room was nice but this hotel lacks severely in amenities. You have to request everything and take care of everything yourself. The shining light was Ms. Zee who works the desk. She is kind and personable.

Was just what we needed after a water loss in our home. The room was clean, quiet and efficient. Loved having a full kitchen….we brought food from home and so we were happy to be able to use it up. The appliances were great and the fridge was immaculate. Thank you. Adele

Do your self a favorite and dont stay at this hotel. Everything is awful. Starting with the check in prossess to the room to the room it self. Motel 6 is better than this place.

This is an older property that was chosen simply because of its easy access to the freeway and to the Pleasant Hill civic center. The room and the kitchenette were clean. The pipes knocked when people in adjacent rooms showered. The room was adequate for the price paid. The grab and go breakfast was coffee, instant cereal and a muffin.

No hot water in bathroom sink. Couldn't get an extra blanket because washer had gone three days without repair. No hand soap in bathroom or shower. Front desk wait was several minutes. Worst of all, the person/people above moved furniture around starting arount 2:30 am, and lasted until 5am. And front desk didn't answer when we tried to complain.

Late night doors constantly shutting. Many people coming and going late 12 pm and on next door. Cussing and swearing heard through the walls. Stomping and creaking walking from the upstairs guests late at night. No hot coffee ready in the am at 8:45 am. No grab and go available. Was told the shipment of breakfast bags did not arrive. When I check out and reported my unhappiness I was told I would be given a 15 to 20 percent discount by manager Eric. However, since I was Orbitz customer I did not qualify. Not what I wanted to hear. Thanks for the terrible experience as a second rate customer. Please advise. I was told to call Eric but wanted to reach out to you folks first for help. Tim

Very run down on the inside, which is deceiving from the outside. No hot water not on the night coming in or next morning. I would most definitely never stay at an Extended stay branch again.

Property was in good location however; Expedia advertisement listed property as having breakfast included and to our disappointment, they only had packaged oatmeal, sweet muffins and that was it. Also disappointing was the fact that there was no ice machine here. Will not stay here on our next visit.

First, the check-in was a problem, apparently with Expedia. We had to wait at least 30 minutes before we got our room. Then that room had a non-working heating/cooling unit. So, we were given another room, right under a very active bouncing dog. We love dogs, but this one was very noisy over us. We had to turn the volume up on our TV in order to hear. I got a headache from the noise. We are old and just wanted peace and quiet for a couple of days. Then, when I moved the top sheet to get into bed, we found what appeared to be blood on the sheet. It was replaced along with the blanket.

Other than these negative things, I think the room size is perfect for travelers and so convenient to have its own little kitchen. Love the full sized fridge. Plenty of parking available.
