Hotel tells you that you have to pay $34 for parking. There's parking next to the hotel actually through the hotel parking that is $19 for a day public parking. They don't tell you that cuz they want you to park at the hotel and pay them the $340 back if the rooms are okay. They're old but room service. As far as cleaning and replenishing supplies are amenities is lacking the hotel itself. The clean stuff actually are very nice people. The restaurant staff is very nice people, but the checking staff can learn some customer service. I would not stay at this Hilton again and there's a Hilton. It's an embarrassment

Excellent free breakfast. Nightly happy hour. Comfortable beds. But the suites are sooo dark, not even enough light in the living room to read a book.

The Staff and the Breakfast and Bar was great. Location is great too

Late at night we name back to the hotel. The front desk had two people. They both were chatting with a group of people. I waited in line with two waters to buy from the market. I waited for 5 minutes. They continued to chat and did not acknowledge me, so I took my waters upstairs. The next morning, I paid for them at the front desk (just so you know 😁). The breakfast and bar staff are friendly and serviceable. I found them interested in their customers' wants. They explained things thoroughly. There is QR tipping which is phenomenal. I can tip easily and don't need cash to do it. Great idea!

I had an amazing stay. From check in to check out the staff were extremely helpful and kind. Hotel gym was perfect for a good workout. The bar happy hour was a nice plus. The room was very spacious. Would stay here again.

Located where we needed in Walnut Creek. This place is having some serious struggle and I do not recommend staying here. We are a family that specifically booked here because of the larger room and access to a crib. The property did not have a crib ready and claimed it was never noted on our reservation. Then the hotel is so understaffed or poorly staffed that the front desk couldn’t even contact their own team to ask about or get a crib. We never got a crib. The the air conditioning didn’t work in a bedroom and maintenance needed to come and fix it. A toilet was broken and ran all night. This place just isn’t working right now.

Convenient and the lobby was nice, having been redone recently - the staff were super nice and helpful My room was pretty tired - especially the bathroom - everything was really low
- 1.5/5
I enjoyed the wonderful breakfast. Food and staff were very friendly and efficient. I had two main issues. First, the parking was a nightmare. I prepaid for 3 nights. First night took me 30 minutes to find a spot. The second night, I had to park on the street because there were no spots. I wasted 45 minutes waiting for a spot that never happened. I woke up early the next morning to move my car from the street to a spot. After that, I paid for UBER so that I wouldn't risk losing my parking spot. 2. On Saturday night, One of the rooms on my level was having a huge party. There must have been close to 50 people and you could smell marijuana throughout the hallway next to my room. I could still hear the noise in my room. Overall I was very disheartened with entire experience. I went for a family event but this stay put a damper on my mood.
- 3/5
Hotel was nice , however we were very limited in the pool. They require guest to have a wristband for the pool area and my daughter had a few guest over for her birthday and they would not accommodate us with extra . They told me I would have to purchase an additional room. Which I have never experienced at previous hotel. The breakfast buffet was great though.overall the stay was ok

I enjoyed my stay 10 out of 10
- 3.5/5
I like that the restaurant and bar were open later. My daughter had a volleyball tournament and we got back to the hotel later, so it was nice to be able to get something to eat and go back to our room. The parking was terrible, very tight spaces and I have a compact car. The cost of the parking was a bit expensive for what was offered and if you didn't get into the garage on time, I'd have to find off site parking.
- 5/5
Staff was awesome, Stephen at the front desk was very helpful!! Will stay again and again!! We highly recommend.
- 5/5
Overall enjoyed our stay. Staff was great. Amentities were lovely-- only draw back is that the pool is a little small and got quite crowded for my kiddos.
- 5/5
The front desk person, Jonathan in particular, was great. The hotel in general was a pleasant surprise. The room was large, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast was excellent primarily because of the made to order omelet bar (chef David did a great job).
- 3/5
Arrived at hotel around 1:30pm, hadn't slept in 2 days, front desk clerk was going to get me checked in until another clerk came up behind her and said someone told them they need to start charging 100 dollars for early check in. Clerk A says, i told her we could because there is plenty availability ready to go. Clerk B says it doesn't matter. New policy is to charge a 100$. Key cards often stop working. Had to get new ones twice and witnessed same for others. Elevator was down in parking garage (Garage to lobby is pretty dirty). Also, limited parking. If you get in in the evening, expect there to be no parking. Parking is 34 a night at hotel.. When it feels up, you then have to park your car across the lot in overflow for 25 dollars and arent allowes ins and outs (It sucks). Had to park there 2 of 3 nights and pay and hotel still charged me for 2 nights at their property. Lots of dust and corrosion on exposed pipes in bathroom. Room not deep cleaned. Breakfast was good especially the omelette and pancake station (although it closes pretty early at 9 am during the week (missed first day because of this as most places its open until 10am). Close to Bart, Grocery stores, Gas Stations and highway. Bed was comfortable.
- 5/5
Steven at the front desk was very helpful. A wonderful stay! Thank you!
- 3/5
My room had kicked on dust by the nightstands and bed, which is disgustingly gross. The bathroom had mold on the shower enclosure at the top.. I’d stay there many times before, but it hasn’t been cleaned well that I can say and you need an extra garbage. Can one in the bathroom is not enough for the whole room.
- 3/5
I hope they make improvements very soon because I did not feel very confident in the cleanliness of my room at all.

Breakfast was really good. Every time I’m in Walnut Creek I stayed there because of there food and staff always make us feel welcome. I didn’t like that parking. Parking wasn’t available most of the time .Parking will be the only reason I will stop coming to Embassy.

The staff was above par amazing! I only stayed for one night but I was as comfortable as I could be away from home and the lobby evening/night staff were incredible! I was treated as if I were VIP or something! Very sweet and considerate!
- 2/5
I usually stay at Embassy Suites hotels during my travels, but unfortunately, this experience was very disappointing. The hotel was not clean, parking was always full, and breakfast was cleaned up too early every morning. We stayed for 3 days, and our room was never cleaned. I had to personally ask for towels and shampoo. On the first night, we even had to change rooms because the bathtub was not draining properly. Overall, we had a very uncomfortable stay, and sadly, after this experience, I don’t think I will choose Embassy Suites again
- 1/5
Just look at the photos
- 5/5
Great service- parking a bit stiff $34 - which I thought the website stated $17 a night
- 5/5
I highly recommend. All services were great!

Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Such a beautiful place to stay, friendly staff everywhere and amazing food
- 1/5
The hotel seemed chaotic as I witnessed gambling and craps being played. There was also an abnormal amount of weed smoking throughout. Teenagers were running around playing door knock ditch. Overall, would not stay here again. Room also smelled stale and light was coming from all around the door.
- 5/5
Breakfast and food from the restaurant were great. Beautiful property and lots of amenities including daily happy hour and breakfast with made to order options. Only issue was the parking garage was having issues with parking passes but they had an easy fix for it.

Racially Profiled. Unprofessional Staff.
- 1/5
I was racial profiled and put out my room I want my money back was only in the room for a few hours ,staff was very rude
- 4/5
Room was not cleaned during stay
- 3/5
First room I got smelled horribly like cigarettes and mold. Asked to change rooms. Next room had hair on the shower! From the head and pubic- gross!!
- 1/5
Avoid at all costs. This place turns into a ghetto party palace on the weekends and the staff can’t control it (or care to). The facilities and rooms are rundown. What used to be an awesome family hotel is now no better than a motel 6 with breakfast (that runs out of food).
- 4/5
This is a beautiful hotel! Happy hour and breakfast was great, room was lovely and quiet and the staff was attentive. My only complaint (and I know they don’t have control) was the guests staying there. There were large groups of kids staying there that were running around with zero supervision; yelling , screaming and rough housing. I’d say their ages ranged from 9-15. When we returned from dinner, we shared an elevator with another couple and the security guard who was extremely agitated. The couple said that the kids were throwing candy off the 2nd floor at them and other guests and the guard said he had apprehended them and once he found their parents, told them they’d be evicted if they didn’t manage their kids. Kudos to you security guard! Again this is no fault of the hotel and their security person was clearly managing the situation. They must have been hosting a large youth event. When we got up to our level, there was candy (skittles) and wrappers all over the ground! Kinda funny in a sense but would not have wanted to be lobbed with an airborne skittle myself! All and all a great stay aside for the bad behavior of some of their guests.
- 4/5
No hot tub. Was a little disappointed about it. Googled hotels with hot tubes and it said it had a hot tub, it did not. Overall it was very nice.

Very dirty rooms, multiple things not working could not stay again.

My only complaint was that there was trash in our room when we got there. Other than that it was great.
- 5/5
Great staff and very helpful and friendly! Breakfast was excellent and the gym as well!
- 4/5
Had to change rooms because of a dripping shower head. Hallways were never vacuumed during our 4 night stay.
- 1/5
We don’t fault the staff. It’s a management issue. Any first level manger could walk the halls and see the problems, it is that obvious. Management has let this lovely property (location and “bones”), get overrun by the worse visitors. Ps. The breakfast cooks are exceptional. They have not dropped their standards and are pleasant to greet you. Four stars for the breakfast crew but that’s about it.
- 4/5
When we stayed the pool was closed which was unfortunate due to kids wanting to be in the pool. Breakfast was great ! Staff were very nice ! The room was clean, just was a bummer kiddos wanted pool
- 3/5
Very noise loud music
- 5/5
Everything was ideal
- 4/5
As someone who has managed a hotel before I always walk into our reserved room and disinfect everything we will be touching and I take the comforter off the beds and pillows because those do not get changed after each us unless stained. We bring our own pillows and blankets. When doing my own inspection I found blood on the sheets. We told front desk and she changed our room. The halls and elevator were dirty. This would not be the best Embassy we’ve stayed at. Staff was wonderful, breakfast was grate, happy hour was great. No compensation or apology from management was made before or after our stay for the inconvenience.
- 4/5
Only downsides are that some of the furnishings in our room are beginning to show their age and should be replaced. Also, when our room was cleaned, only one new towel was provided for the two of us, and whoever cleaned the room also removed the soap bar we had brought with us.
- 5/5
The breakfast had plenty of options and was delicious
- 5/5
Clean and spacious room
- 5/5

Hotel needs new AC
- 3/5
A/C was not working for a majority of my stay.
- 1/5
Early check-in not possible. The cleaning staff were the nicest people there. Front-desk staff were not very good.
- 5/5
Besides the leak in the room that kept the carpet wet. Our stay was nice
- 2/5
Stayed overnight with my husband and 2 kids. Didnt find out there was a $34 charge to park in the hotel parking lot, which smells like a sewer and lingers into the elevator. Our room seemed ok at first but after a few minutes saw all the lamp shades were cracked and broken and a hanging light was hanging by its wires also the phone didn't work. We went to the heated indoor pool and it was so cold in the room and the water was freezing.. we could only stay in for a bit because besides from being freezing it was packed.. we left our room again later to go to a store off site and realized our door didn't actually lock and was unlocked the whole time at the pool. Took 1 hour for a maintenance guy to come who said he couldn't fix it and finally at 10pm they gave us another room. After moving all our stuff we noticed the heat was on 90° and we were melting and the security door lock inside Didnt really latch very well but the deadbolt worked. Later we made some popcorn in the microwave and when we grabbed it out after cooking a tiny cockroach crawled out and under the counter. The next morning another bigger cockroach was crawling around in the bathtub.. We went the buffet breakfast and made to order food was good but the already made eggs and French toast was really gross. We won't be staying there again.
- 2/5
I had to ask to have the room cleaned again once we got checked in because it was dusty The front desk staff seemed very unprofessional, maybe I just caught her on a bad day but I smiled, was kind and pleasant and she was extremely rude. And I was just checking in! I wasn’t complaining or asking for anything. Then the parking situation, well that was a joke. They have about 50 spots in their garage which of course were full so we had to park in a neighboring garage and pay their prices and walk all the way over. Walnut Creek is a nice area, there is no reason for this hotel to be so trashy. And it’s literally trashy! When we checked in there were people (guests?) eating out front and the next day when we checked out their food and drink containers were still sitting in the ground and in the bushes. No one bothered to throw them away. It was flat out gross.
- 3/5
The first room we were given had lights that didn’t even work, so we had to go back and request another room. The replacement room we were given clearly wasn’t ready yet. It looked poorly maintained and not properly cleaned. The bathroom vent was covered in dust, there were patched holes in the walls, and the tub and fixtures looked worn and poorly maintained. Overall, the room did not feel clean or well cared for, and it definitely did not match the expectations set by the reviews or photos online. Unfortunately, this experience made the stay feel very disappointing.
- 5/5
Yea
- 2/5
Parking is really poor- especially in evening- can’t drive thru entrance circle to get out- blocked each time I tried - very disappointing considering they charge $34 per night plus tax for parking -
- 5/5
The only down side was that the hotel was full of birthday gatherings so the pool was extremely full of people...but hey it was a really nice pool area though! Filled with warm, clean towels, emptied pool to drain and clean very often. It was nice!!
- 5/5
Clean, free internet, friendly staff and affordable parking.
- 5/5
Great options for breakfast, located near freeway, comfortable bed. Wished parking was included!
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff

- 1/5
Room not clean
- 4/5
Staff member; Veronica and room was very clean and comfortable. 😉👍
- 4/5
Clean room but missing trash bag. The happy hour free coupon choices were not great and the food order for dinner took quite a while but everyone was friendly and the walls of our room were nice and thick. We assumed that due to the large family with young kids staying next door- we didn’t hear any noise overnight and slept well.
- 4/5
Yes it was clean.
- 5/5
restuarant and bar very nice- food better than expected
- 2/5
Overall the atmosphere is uninviting, front desk not attentive and does not provide information about charges, rooms are clean but needs updating. Complimentary snacks are poor quality. Pool was closed .Also 3 elevators for such a big hotel? Not very safe in case of an emergency. Furthermore, never again will I stay here nor recommend this hotel. Worst of the worst!
- 5/5
All good.
- 1/5
I would not stay here again.
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
1) the incidental rate per night was higher than the actual room rate. 2). The hotel lobby, hallways, and elevators were TRASHED each morning. Sticky liquid on the floors, trash cans overflowing from 6:00pm the night before, until after 8:00 am the following morning. Need some sort of housekeeping staff that tends to the communal areas overnight so guests don’t wake up to trash all over the place
- 5/5
Always a great stay here. Check in was smooth. Rooms are always clean. Food from the restaurant was awesome.
- 4/5
Nice overall. The only issue with the room was the tub filled up while using the shower.
- 5/5
Safe location with overnight public parking option
- 5/5
Clean room, quiet spot, and great service for breakfast
- 5/5
The front staff made an already awesome experience even better.
- 3/5
For the amount of money that you pay to stay there, you would expect something better than this and I’ve stated embassy suites before and this was the first time I’ve ever had a bad experience.
- 4/5
Excellent location with breakfast and reasonable prices parking. Will stay again.
- 4/5
de verdad me gusta este Hotel pero creo que lo estan descuidando mucho. Vanessa D
- 5/5
Cleanliness, amenities and staff were the reason for and enjoyable stay. The pool area was cold however the kids still enjoyed themselves.
- 4/5
Staff was really nice. Hotel was very clean.
- 4/5
Overall beautiful place to stay with your family.
- 5/5
Wish we had more time there .
- 3/5
First room had an issue with the toilet leaking. Staff moved us right away. The elevators took forever. Every time we left or came to our room. The pool was not working the entire time we were there. Lights were not connected to the switches on the wall so we had to stumble through a dark room to find the switches on the lamps. Breakfast buffet was great. Lot of selection room was comfortable. Staff was very nice. Parking was terrible second night I couldn’t find the space within our hotel so I had to pay for outside parking. They were nice and offered to refund my parking fee since I had to pay for outside parking location was right next to the bart, which was nice.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly, professional and courteous.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 2/5
No GM or manager on duty Monday morning until 12:30pm…this size hotel with no manager???? Even motels have a supervisor on duty at checkout ….Would not recommend
- 3/5
Liked the free breakfast, but the narrow hours of the happy hour made it difficult to utilize this feature. Also there were long lines for drinks and food was almost all gone by the time we got there at 6pm. Room was fine but not 4 star quality. Also was disappointed by the pool being closed and no hot tub. Most of all though parking in that parking garage was a nightmare. There were not enough spots to accolade the number of guests, and the only remaining spots available were extremely small. It was also confusing trying to navigate down there and I accidentally ended up going the wrong way multiple times, having to do awkward 15 point turns as oncoming cars waited for me. Not worth staying here for all that parking stress, especially when you’re charged over $30 per day!
- 5/5
I love how the staff is very attentive to the guests. Food is very good.
- 3/5
The hotel looks nice, but it was poorly maintained. Many items in the room were dirty or worn out. There was food in the elevator and hallways. We had 5 people in our room with two towels. Our door wouldn’t open with the key, and after going down to the front desk, they said, “yeah, pull the handle up. We don’t know which doors do that.” You should know.
- 1/5
Disgusting accommodations Pool shut down 45 minute wait for evening cocktails No hotel parking
- 1/5
Pool was closed without warning. Initial room that they gave us had wet white stuff on the floor and a dirty mirror. Very little efforts were made to make up for the inconvenience.
- 3/5
The hotel looked nice but it seemed they may have been under staffed because trash receptacle were always full. The shower had a big leak and even though I brought it to their attention, they didn't bother to fix it. They had a good breakfast selection but it was often dried out and didn't taste too good. I did enjoy happy hour, the staff were very nice but again they only had one bar tender on a busy Saturday night.
- 5/5
I did not eat breakfest. There was no jacuzzi, which i was expecting. Location is very convenient, i had to work and take bart which was just a 5 min walk across the street.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Cleanroom. Nice staff. Good breakfast.
- 3/5
For whatever reason, there were SO many children and so many of them were running all over the hotel unattended - lobby, lounge, multiple floors, elevators - and while the responsibility for their behavior rests with the parents, they were nowhere to be found, so it’d have been nice if the hotel would have handled the disturbance.
- 5/5
Room was clean
- 3/5
Love the size of the rooms but both tvs in our room did not work very well, very glitchy. The front desk staff that I interacted with was surprisingly rude.
- 2/5
We had to find another hotel late in the day.
- 5/5
Love it
- 5/5
Amazing stay! Everything top notch
- 4/5
Great. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Breakfast quick and good
- 3/5
Room was clean, great location.
- 5/5
Excellent breakfast Nice large suites Stayed here several times. This isn’t three star but at least four star hotel
- 3/5
Don’t think our room was vacuumed before we got there. Debris all over & filthy. Staff was amazing!
- 2/5
Room was rundown. Weird smell in lobby/elevator. Not enough service staff and the parking lot is tight/poorly laid out. Second time staying here but won’t be staying here again.
- 1/5
Decided to spend my sons bday here for the weekend with family. Toilet was clogged in my room for most of the first day of my arrival. After the maintenance man came to check it out several times, it happened again at 5am the following morning. Packed all my belongings and changed rooms at 5am. After the room change, i get to another room and the fold out bed was nailed shut. Offered another room but i was too tired to move again. . Mind y
- 1/5
This facility lacked upkeep. Our room had mulitple things wrong ... refrigerator made noise all night keeping me awake, shower leaked all night making noise again keeping me up all night. Pillows are too flat no support at all. Very disappointed in our stay and wish we could get our $$ back . This was terrible stay and we've stayed at many Embassy Suites.
- 5/5
The breakfast is exceptional. Always fresh and lots of variety. One drawback so beware: They DO NOT offer free parking!! My biggest problem staying there. No matter if you find a good room rate, add a minimum of $35 per night to park there. NO HANDICAP OPTIONS; NO PARKING VALIDATIONS
- 2/5
Only 2 people working the desk at check-in. Seemed understaffed to me. To me this seemed understaffed for a massive hotel. Also, there was no restaurant in the hotel for any dinner needs. For a massive hotel, I found this strange. Parking fees ($34) were not obvious to me when booking this room. And, parking was in a parking garage that seemed like a maze to get in and out of. Cocktail hour you only get 2 drinks via a ticket and the line was long with only 1 bartender. Again, for a huge hotel with many rooms, I find this understaffed for a Friday night booking. I will say breakfast was good, so that's why I give it a slight bump in my rating.
- 3/5
The room was fine. Pillows were not comfortable. But real problem comes from the exorbitant price of the parking. #1 this is not valet parking. #2 You nee to self park and get your own baggage to the room. Never saw any valet. #3. $34 for self park is just not right. You are definitely taking advantage of your customers and we know it. I know you all starved to death during Covid and now you are trying to play catch up.. everyone is playing that game. It would be nice if were reasonable!! I will be trying other hotels in the area!! (not Marriott, they don't even give you a decent room)
- 4/5
Room is way too dark.
- 5/5
YES
- 3/5
No the original room had not been cleaned needed to relocate, the free drinks were only beer and wine cause no bartender and $34 per day for parking with 249 rooms and 180 parking spaces created a challenge but public parking next door at an extra charge didn’t make us happy 👎
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel it’s very clean
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with breathtaking architecture and a clean, modern, and elegant studio-style room. The views were lovely, and the staff were very hospitable. My only complaint is that they charge for parking when the lot is full..
- 5/5
Excellent location in spotless and super clean modern hotel.
- 4/5
Glad they finally replaced the bar stools. Bummed that there is no longer valet parking. There was no laundry services on the weekend. Your bar servers really hustled during the happy hour.
- 5/5
It was a great overall experience.
- 4/5
Our room was really nice, corner and spacious, However, when turning on the heater, it was loud and we can also hear the Bart running in the bedroom. We did not get good sleep.
- 4/5
All rooms are suites with tv’s in both the living room and bedroom. Beds are very comfortable. Bar area with sink and refrigerator. Bathroom is well equipped. Included breakfast is actually very good with made to order egg dishes, pancakes, and bacon. Wide variety of baked goods, oatmeal, sausage, potatoes, juices, fruits, coffee, and more are also available. Separate restaurant is open for dinner with a fairly wide selection of dishes.

Embassy Suites Walnut Creek (here's an unkept secret to those of us living the dream out in the The Garden Beyond Caldecott: The Range Rovers and the yoga pants seem like they are hunting prey especially at dawn and at twilight...keep your pepper spray in your fist and your wits with you...I confused a queen bee once by shouting "you're going to grow old and be forever alone if you don't give up the pure sugar diet! There is no greater crime than being fat and alone past 40"! She started crying, literally choked wIth sobs but she never fell out of pose again that class!!
- 5/5
The hotel is very nice.
- 5/5
All staff was wonderful - front desk, cleaning, lounge, breakfast area. All very polite and professional.
- 4/5
Some cons to note: we did not have housekeeping during our 5 night stay despite several requests. Guessing they were short staffed during the holiday. Also the garage can be tricky; spots are close together but we got the hang of it ($34 a day extra for parking.)
- 1/5
I asked for an additional blanket and pillow to be brought up to our room while we were gone. We came back to our hotel and they hadn’t brought it up. I called down to ask again for them to bring the blanket and pillow and they said they are closed so they can’t bring it up. We had 3 kids with us. At about 1am the fire alarm went off waking up our kids. We finally got them settled and then someone prank called our room from 2:30-3am. I called the front desk and they said they couldn’t do anything to help us. Pretty miserable stay with kids. Very disappointed

Room was clean and functional. Breakfast was good.

- 5/5
Convenient large rooms.
- 4/5
Breakfast was amazing... parking situation, confusing... room was big and beautiful... pool wasnt super easy to find... staff could have been a little friendlier. Overall, great stay.
- 5/5
Very clean, staff was nice. I would definitely stay here again
- 4/5
Courteous staff, very stylish and modern decor.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 2/5
when booking the room was not informed that we would have to pay for parking, also the room was never cleaned until the day we were leaving. We had to ask for more towels and we only got face towels. The bathroom was not cleaned and there were dirty towels in the room.
- 5/5
This hotel is absolutely amazing. The staff are all very helpful, kind and courteous. The rooms are perfect with a nice living room area, large bedroom and the walk in shower is great! The breakfast bar has a wide variety of foods to choose from, the homemade egg omelettes are so good. We also enjoyed happy hour at the bar. Drinks were made correctly and timely. The snacks provided during happy hour were also good each evening. We will stay at this hotel the next time we are in town. 10/10 for sure.
- 4/5
Very roomy and clean
- 5/5
Very clean room, great breakfast included. Our room was perfect size. Separate areas made the trip. My only complaint is the new charge all these places are adding $35.00 TO PARK!!! How the heck are you supposed to get there? Fly on your wings? I should take away a star for that.
- 3/5
Everything is close..Gym and swimming pool. The bar close at 9pm..but we loved the free breakfast
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Breakfast was phenomenal
- 4/5
The only concern I had that for a few nights we were there during the evening hours. There were young girls running back-and-forth down the hall and it got to be a little annoying. At one point, I opened my door and just stared at them and they ran away and didn’t hear from them again but the next night they were back at it and I was too tired to even bother. I should’ve called the front desk, but I let it go in hopes they would just go to their rooms and go to bed.
- 4/5
Very spacious rooms in good condition and the staff was very friendly. But the rooms were loud. When you let go of the door to your room it slams with great force and noise. At night we were constantly startled by the noise and vibrations from other people’s doors. We were also looking forward to swimming in the indoor pool. The pool was nice but not temperature controlled as I was expecting so it was still very cold even though it’s inside. My son was disappointed. But nice property otherwise
- 5/5
Eveything was fantastic n the worker's so friendly!
- 5/5
We forget our purse at lobby at night and went to asked at reception some body deposit at reception? The lady said no we dont have about some one found but one of guest who stayed there come to me and said that some body gave to the reception your purse after that the lady went inside and again said we dont have it but after 10 minute she cane and gave it to me but there was $ 2500 was missing

- 5/5
It’s was nice would definitely stay there again
- 4/5
Nice… the free breakfast was great.!
- 4/5
Courteous staff. Great breakfast!
- 5/5
Very good overall experience except for overnight parking. The garage was full by 9pm with no place to park in hotel parking.
- 1/5
Unfortunately, I realized that I left a bag on the bed after I checked out and was on the road back to LA . I spent 6 hours on the phone trying to reach someone at the hotel to let them know I needed to have the bag picked up but no one answered. Ever. Finally, that same night I had my uncle go over to ask them if he could pick it up. No one had it and no one turned it in. Not even the cleaning staff who had clearly seen it and taken it... Avoid this dated and depressing hotel at all costs.
- 4/5
Other than the check-in staff was rude, everything else is great.
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable, and a great breakfast
- 3/5
We discovered our sofa bed was broken & screw shut when we tried to open it for our children. This information was not told to us when we checked in; however when we called the front desk to advise them of this the woman said “oh yes it’s broken, we can only offer to move you.” At this time is was 11pm, my toddler was already asleep so packing up & moving everyone and our things was going to be a major inconvenience. We then went to use the extra blankets and pillows which they provided for the sofa bed, only to find the pillows covered in mold. Our only option at this point aside from packing up and leaving was too request new ones. The hotel refused to offer a credit or partial refund. We book many staycations and this was by far one of our worst experiences. Especially the mold & sofa bed issue.
- 2/5
Hilton needs to retrain or provide customer service training at the Front Desk.
- 2/5
I reserved my two queen suite but when checking in there was a high school team checking in and they gave my room away and I got stuck with a one queen and the person at the front desk said it is what it is abi can take it or leave it was not cool and kids kept everyone awake all night
- 2/5
Bed was comfy Parking was expensive and I shocked myself on exposed wire on the alarm clock.
- 5/5
A great place to stay
- 4/5
My only complaint is no room service for breakfast or lunch. Worst though is $38 per day for parking.
- 5/5
Great hotel and wonderful breakfast.
- 1/5
If you are going to charge $150 for me to bring my dog make it super clear. Yes, the fee was reflected but very easy to miss while booking as you have to scroll down seven pages. Seriously! I paid $120 for the room and $150 for my dog to stay.
- 4/5
Breakfast was nice. And convenient. Room had a wet spot on the carpet when we checked in which wasn’t great but otherwise everything was nice.
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable
- 2/5
I couldn't check in through the app and then when I arrived after 4 PM, our room wasn't ready so they had to assign me another room. When we went into the self parking, the gate was open And we could not get a ticket. We spoke to the front desk person, who wasn't particularly that friendly, and they told us that we need to go in the other side to get a ticket and then bring the ticket in for validation. And that we would have in and out privileges. Today I went back in to the parking garage the way that the front desk person told me to and it wouldn't let me go in – the gate was down so I had to get another ticket. I just spoke to the front desk again and a different person, who again was not particularly friendly, told me "oh no the gates open and you went in the wrong way." I'm supposed to go in one gate to get in and the other gate to get out. they didn't offer us our two bottled waters that I generally get as a Hilton member. The last night their parking garage was full and when i asked where i could park, they said go to the neighboring public parking garage and pay for a 24 hour ticket. The parking garage was decently far from the hotel and we did not have in/out privileges
- 5/5
Very nice
- 3/5
Booked through hotels.com. Front desk couldn’t find the reservation for an hour. No exaggeration. Even though I add it on my phone and showed them. Room smelled mildewy and old food smell. Not great. Moved rooms but not a great start.

- 5/5
Clean quiet room staff where friendly and helpful
- 5/5
The building was spotless and the service was excellent. The beds were super comfortable too. I did not want to leave.
- 4/5
Good stay, convenient location.
- 3/5
Booked for the nostalgia of staying at an Embassy Suites, but learned my lesson. Checked in a little after 9 and they had no parking left through the hotel. There is parking in the same area but you have to pay an outside company which ended up being totally fine. I think I paid less for them than through the hotel. Parking at the hotel was an additional amount per night. Got to my room and there was a very loud noise in the sitting room. Sounded like water running through your house but was constant. Couldn't hear it in the bedroom though. Black out curtains had been torn towards the middle so light came through that area since it didn't close. Bath tub backed up as I took a shower, but I let them know on check out and maintenance happened to be at the front desk so she told them immediately. Breakfast was good. David at the made to order station did an amazing job. Overall stay was ok. Just think the place needs a little TLC.
- 4/5
I have stayed her in the past and I appreciate the helpful staff and friendliness at the check in. This made our stay pleasant.
- 4/5
2nd time staying here and the staff could be a bit friendlier (specifically talking about front desk staff, the. Breakfast staff are great)
- 5/5
Lovely stay with excellent host, breakfasts and location. Our room was beautiful, as was the whole home. Bonus pets to enjoy!
- 5/5
Staff and everyone there was really nice had really good attitudes. Nothing bad I could say about any of you guys. Thank you
- 5/5
The pool is not heated.
- 3/5
room was clean but I wanted to use the pool and it wasn't clean and it wasn't heated.
- 2/5
Phone not working, not enough washcloths, no body wash in shower , room not made up after request, poor service in restaurant, poor service in bar, poor food in restaurant, room furniture worn out, noisy occupied next door, closing door hard to close, no coffee stirred, not enough cups, charged for food we never had,
- 4/5
$34 a night parking is
- 4/5
I was disappointed that the pool was closed for cleaning and there wasnt a restaurant.
- 3/5
The hotel parking is confusing. All parking places are marked compact so with a SUV parking places were very narrow.
- 5/5
Complimentary drinks and snacks at the bar, very friendly and courteous stay, rooms clean, and excellent bath and shower products in the room. Thanks for the wonderful accommodations.

What a nightmare experience! Do not stay at he Embassy Suites Walnut Creek/Concord CA location. We arrived after an 8 hour drive to visit family and noticed the parkling lot was full to capacity and the arm blocking entrance was up. Dueing check with I asked the front desk guy withbthe glasses where we were to park as guest of the hotel. He said, "i dont know', "we have an event so parking might be full". He proceeded to twll me that we could park in the public lot and pay and additional fee of $24/day and each time we moved the car we would have to pay. I asked why this was not disclosed during booking time and he shrugged his shoulder. He provided zero help or compassion yo the fact that we jist deove 8 hours and only wanted to park, unoad our car, go to our room and sleep. Ive never been so disappointed in a hotel in my life. There was trash in the hallways that sat there most of the weekend. We utlimate had to walk to the bart parking back n forth to unload our car. Do not stay here.

This property was in a great location but could be cleaner

Parking was a nightmare. When we arrived to check in, it took a long time to find a spot in the garage. Later that evening, when we returned to the hotel, it took over 30 minutes to find parking again, there simply was none available. Additionally, when we got back that evening, we asked the front desk for extra towels. There were five of us in the room, but only three used (and dirty) towels available. The lady at the front desk said that someone would bring towels up, but no one ever did. We’ve come to expect a certain level of consistency and hospitality from Embassy Suites, so this was a very disappointing experience overall.

Our check in time was 4pm, we arrived 7 minutes early and was told to check back in at check in (4pm). Went back to the counter at 4:02pm and then was told our room wasn't ready yet and asked that we take a seat in the lobby and she'll let us know when our room would be ready. Almost 50min later I get up to check, and the attendant said 'oh, the room is ready' after we watched her clear another guest from the line. She could've at least waived us over to inform us the room was ready since we were waiting well before those that were in line. Then when after parking our car in the garage, we had to see her again to activate our parking pass. The attendant said she waived our parking for the wait, only to find out that parking was free anyway! The gate in the garage was open for anyone to park FREE. Then when we get to our room, there were NO shower towels. My husband called for towels, and the attendant that answered said there were 17 other calls and that someone would come with towels as soon as they can.

Patrons and neighbors were extremely loud and disrespectful. Wanted to check out and find a new hotel but wasn’t able to get a refund so we had to switch to a different room at 1am. Security tried to tell the neighbors to quiet down but as soon as they left they just laughed it off and kept yelling and being super loud.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay
- 3/5
Very poor
- 5/5
Everything was nice to some degree at the hotel. I asked for a pillow I was told to come down and get it myself at the front desk, I asked for a plunger told the same thing.
- 5/5
Especially breakfast is awesome!

I liked the close facinity to BART. I have stayed in the same hotel many times before but this time the service and amenities got worse.
- 5/5
Excellent value, family friendly, breakfast is top notch, staff at breakfast buffet is very attentive, they kept food well stocked and food area very clean. This will be my go to spot when in the area.
- 5/5
Just what I would expect from the Embassy suites. Excellent rooms. Great happy hour. Very nice breakfast. Loved it all.
- 1/5
The hotel staff would only refund me half of the price to stay even though we were only on property for less than five hours.
- 1/5
The rooms used to be stocked with snacks and drinks. The pictures from the hotel 77 website show that to still be one of the amenities. That proved to be inaccurate and false advertising. Friday night wasn't terrible, besides the reception hour snacks which were subpar and ran through. Most of the stuff was gone and the rest just a few scraps holding on, begging for someone to put them out of their misery a theme that was reoccurring amongst most of the things in this hotel including the front desk staff. They do give you two complimentary drinks that the whole hotel can partake in between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. Great perk, unfortunately they have one bartender and a very depressing selection of alcohols, for example, I drink bourbon and they didn't have one, quite frankly they look to be out of a lot of things both days. Friday night I waited in a line for upwards of 20 minutes. Saturday, my son and I woke up and decided to go give the complimentary breakfast a try. The prepared food was dry French toast sticks not warm enough to melt the cold butter next to it, some wet sausage patties, scrambled eggs, along with some undercooked potatoes. There was an assortment of bread Bagels cereal some fruit and a fruit bar with basic melons. There's so much more but no room left to review. Dont stay here. There's nothing this place is super close to that warrants a stay here. Declining prices say a lot.
- 5/5
Parking was easy
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable
- 4/5
The property was good but certainly wasn’t like it once was when it opened. Breakfast was very good. The complementary open bar was okay. Again not like it once was.. free appetizers were pretty sparse.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing.
- 3/5
My major beef is the people at the front desk especially the check out process I was standing at the checkout line and this woman didn’t say hello or good morning she motioned for the paper work I was holding and it was just so offensive that I will never stay at this property again.
- 4/5
Gym facility did not contain cleaning supplies such as disinfectant wipes to clean machines and weights. Two machines were broken. Hotel parking was never available and was always full. Room itself was great. Overall hotel was clean and in good shape
- 5/5
Good selection for breakfast, nice hotel
- 2/5
1) I tried calling a day before our stay to confirm that we are bringing a (very well-behaved) pet, and after going through a confusing chain of ad-laden phone prompts and hold time, was connected to an agent in another country who couldn't help but connected me to the front desk. That took 8 minutes. Next, I was immediately placed on hold and waited for 10 minutes before giving up. 2) At check-in, I confirmed that I had a dog and for the first time was told that would be a $150 fee. That is the highest fee I've had at any pet-friendly hotel. I didn't see any reference to that fee on booking. 3) There is self-parking but it is in a tiny, maze-like structure next to the hotel. By the time I arrived there was not one single space that could fit my mid-sized SUV. They charge $35 a night for that terrible parking. Thankfully there are a couple other bigger parking structures that are less expensive and only add a couple minutes of walking. 4) The room was dark, so dark! It is pretty dated. Even though it is a suite, the bathroom vanity is only about 30" wide with zero storage so there is barely enough counter space for two peoples' toiletries. The A/C is great in the front room and terrible in the bedroom. 5) Wi Fi keeps cutting out and is limited. Pros: the lobby/breakfast is good.
- 4/5
Bad bugs where clawing on the counter and bed sheets and covers I put one on a piece tissue and show the staff at the front desk they did nothing about it all they said was we can put you in a different room no refund or nothing
- 4/5
Cons: Only 2 towels for 3 people, no soap in the bathroom, not enough shampoo or conditioner, the television reception froze often and there are not enough parking spaces, even at $34 per night and we had to park in another lot.
- 5/5
I had a great stay at the Embassy Suites in Walnut Creek. The lobby and common area is beautifully decorated with tons of room to sit and relax. My room was spacious and clean and there was a nice spread of food for breakfast. My only complaint would be that the parking garage spaces are a nightmare. I had to ask a complete stranger to help guide me while backing out because the spaces are so tight and poorly designed, so keep that in mind when choosing a spot! Overall a great stay.
- 1/5
Staff was rude at check-in. Tables at breakfast were not clean. There were toenails on the carpet in our room. The bathtub/shower doesn't drain well. It was great a couple of years ago, but it was incredibly disappointing this time around.
- 5/5
Our room was perfect, breakfast was wonderful.
- 2/5
The bed was not comfortable. The breakfast was mediocre, not like what I’m used to at the Embassy. Kids took over the hotel. Definitely won’t be back
- 5/5
Mainly is that this hotel located right by the yellow line Bart directly from SFO International Airport, mid point to my relatives who could meet us without too much driving, perfect for our family reunion. I love shopping in Walnut Creek which is only 1 bart stop from the hotel, another great point for me to choose this hotel.
- 3/5
The breakfast was the best part. The parking situation is the worst of any hotel I have been in the last 45 years. Insufficient parking!!! Lack of streaming channels is outdated!! The toilet flushing system was clumsy to use. The design with the open air center made the hotel INCREDIBLY NOISY!!!👎👎
- 1/5
Staff very nice but understaffed. Parking far. Very noisy because you can hear everything in the lobby from your room. I found a guests clothes in the room when I checked in. After all that I went to take my daughter to the pool and it was closed. Really disspointed.
- 5/5
To go back again for staycation
- 5/5
Everything was great. Awesome happy hour and breakfast. Only downside was parking for trucks.
- 5/5
This place was fantastic! Highly recommended for family
- 4/5
Breakfast buffet was good, didn’t like parking in garage very tight parking, air conditioner not working that well, restaurant menu very small and way overpriced
- 2/5
Upon returning to my room from a long day with kids, the Room was not cleaned. The front desk staffed we're not concerned at all until i got pissed of their attitude. I had to make my bed and clean my own room because they couldn't be bothered. I even requested a couple extra blankets, so how meeting knew it needed cleaning. While checking out, the girl was polite and mentioned the GM would call. Never recived that either.
- 5/5
Just wonderful
- 5/5
We were not notified that housekeeping was by request only. We thought daily housekeeping was automatically provided.
- 4/5
The hotel was simple but nice. We enjoyed the breakfast.
- 4/5
The beds. I could not sleep in the king size bed. I had to sleep on the sofa which was better but still not comfortable.

During my check-in, Khristina was beneficial and warmly welcoming. Jürgen went out of his way to accommodate my needs and concerns during checkout. I am grateful, and I recommend this place to anyone who comes to the Walnut Creek Embassy Suites

Loved it

Great Hotel.

Everything was as expected at this embassy suites. They didn’t provide great guidance for their parking lot transition.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 3/5
Also there is public parking nearby so don’t “self park” is quite expensive
- 5/5
Amazing stay, love the room and breakfast
- 5/5
Excellent breakfast service... great selections and very friendly staff.
- 3/5
Worst complaint: Parking was restrictive. No real open parking for guests. Two choices were to use a public parking garage or valet parking. Since valet was just a few more dollars per night, we opted for valet parking, The parking constraints were not very clear when we booked. THE ROOM: The room was comfortable but a little out dated. I would expect Embassy Suites to have upgraded to Smart TVs by now with few Apps. Would have been nice to log into a few of my apps on the TVs. FREE BREAKFAST: Adequate, but subpar compared to the eight other Embassy Suites I have stayed at across the country. HAPPY HOUR: Not bad. We were satisfied. PROPERTY LOCATION: Very good. Easy on/off highway I-680. Also. literally across the street from the BART Subway/Train Station into San Francisco. Very convenient for sightseeing and touring. THE STAFF: The staff receives my "Double Thumbs Up Chuck Norris Seal of Approval." Top notch service. From the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant team, all were very friendly and helpful. FINAL THOUGHTS: Would I stay here again? I would consider it if they upgraded the room technology and made parking a little more convenient. So other than the few minor hiccups mentioned we did enjoy our quick 4-day stay.
- 5/5
Great
- 1/5
I got in to hotel late and they gave my room away and sent me to another hotel
- 5/5
Convenient location for our activities. Very easy access to the area, to the Interstates, and to BART. Suite was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Housekeeping upon request. Employees were friendly and hard working. Adequate buffet breakfast included in nightly rate. Evening restaurant/bar food was surprisingly good. Valet parking only; adds $34 per night to the published nightly room charge.
- 5/5
Safe, quiet and good stuff.
- 1/5
No water in the rooms, card was charged for items or services not used. I pre paid for the room and was charged an additional 198.00 which was more than the cost of the room!
- 4/5
Could tell some things needed maintenance and painting. Pool and gym closed at 9. Security was strict on my 3 year old playing with a ball but at 11pm kids were racing in circles on the floors. One lady at the desk was extremely rude during check in and again on the phone while asking for bedding.
- 5/5
Place was very comfortable and quiet. We were here for a medical trip and it was nice to have a comfortable place to stay. The staff was great!
- 5/5
We always stay here when visiting family in the Bay Area. Easy on/off from the 680 freeway. Rooms are very spacious and are actually suites with a living room/bar separate from the bedroom. Very clean and well equipped with a big screen tv in each room, and bar area with a sink and microwave oven. The included breakfast buffet is excellent with a wide variety of ready made and made to order food options. The separate, on site restaurant/bar has a wide selection of entrees that are excellently prepared and rival any sit down restaurant in the area. And each guest receives two free drinks at the bar each night of their stay.
- 5/5
Everything was great except the for parking. This was not mentioned when this reservation was booked
- 4/5
Room 310 shower is not working well . The hot water is not coming on . Was not good !!
