Staff was very friendly. Wally greeted me with a smile and was very efficient and helpful. He provided me with all the info I needed.

Nothing was unique.

This was a passable hotel, but it felt older. Not particular nice and the only amenity was a bar of soap. There is no ice machine, and the breakfast that was included is just granola bars and muffins.

Clean rooms, bed hard, rooms need updating. Would not stay there again

The bed was comfortable They had hot water but no tea bags, the hairdryer was missing, you had to go to the desk to ask for shampoo, it was an extended stay but you had to go to the desk to get anything for the kitchen, even utensils!!!!!! They advertised breakfast and it was a prepackaged muffin and a cup of coffee or hot chocolate...... NO TEA!!!!!! No juice!!!!! Nothing!!!!! If you are watching your carbs you have no options. It was a huge disappointment

Was really looking forward to taking a shower but didn't want to risk getting some foot fungus. Since the tub hasn't been cleaned, we didn't know what else might have hasn't been cleaned and so we didn't even go barefoot around the room. The following are more things I could deal with or don't consider to be a big deal: Thought breakfast would be more than just some coffee and nutrigrain bars. Didn't take a shower since the tub obviously hadn't been sanitized but if I did, I would have had to request shampoo? Why isn't shampoo just available in the bathroom? There were curtains but no privacy shade Bathroom counter looked like it was ready to fall off.

I like that there is a regular size fridge. I like the view. The room is comfortable. I like the bathtub. I like their option of having a stove and cabinets for storage. It would be nice if there was a little shuttle or something to get to the local casino or restaurant so people don’t drink and drive because it’s hard to get a taxi on a short ride

This is an old hotel and it shows!

Fire alarm at 130 am was annoying and we found bed bugs in our room. We notified front desk, believe that should have comp the room but didn’t ask since we needed to get out of there.

Check in was an easy process. Wally was very helpful and process was quick. On Hotels.com pictures showed 2 queens beds but when we got to the room there was only 1 queen bed. There was a weird smell when we got into the room, We found a dirty Kleenex next to the bed and the furniture is very outdated. Came with a kitchenette but we didn’t use it. Bed was good but only gave 2 pillows and they need to be replaced. Overall good stay

What bothered me most was the smell of the carpeting in the room; it had a distinct odor of dampness, which triggered my nasal allergies and made it difficult for me to sleep. Furthermore, the breakfast selection was lackluster—consisting merely of cakes and hot items—despite the fact that I had booked with the expectation of a much better breakfast experience.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were unable to change the tempura in the room which was too hot. The bathroom had soap scum on the shower.

Closeness to the casino area Bed fell off the frame when sitting on the end. Clogged bathroom sink, and a sharp gouge on the kitchen island thing by the sink.

Clean, staff was attentive and very nice The shower and the bathroom sink were horrible. The sink pressure was to hard when u turn it on it sprays literally everywhere and the shower head sprayed water everywhere but in the middle where u are standing to take your shower. Easy fixes. Replace the shower head and the sink spout

My stay was great! Check in was not the best as I was a late check in and didn’t know I would have to call 3 times and wait 20 minutes before the attendant came to check me in. Other than that, the stay was fine.

First room I was checked in to, the air conditioning didn't work. Went right back downstairs to get a new room and asked for a new room. Also asked about bed bugs and the desk clerk proudly announced that it had been almost two months since they had found any. I cancelled my reservation and got out of there. The lobby and elevator were dirty and the room stunk. Would not recommend.

Nice and clean

As a solo female traveler I didn't appreciate the males at the front desk. Two different guys got me checked in. The first one asked what brought me into town, which seemingly innocent, is none of his business. The second said my phone number and had me give him my email, both out loud for anybody to hear. Security for their female guests seems to be on the back burner.

I recently had a stay at an Extended Stay Hotel, and I must say it was a disappointing experience. While I appreciated that they accommodated a very late-night check-in, the state of the room and hotel left much to be desired. Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by how dirty everything was. The cleanliness was severely lacking, and it made the space feel gross and uninviting. I found myself laying down towels just to feel comfortable enough to sit on the bed, which is not what you expect when paying for a hotel room. The overall condition of the hotel did not provide a welcoming atmosphere, and I struggled to relax during my stay. Given the lack of cleanliness and comfort, I can’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and do not book here.

Basic hotel was fine for one night. Room smelled like smoke and strong air freshener (trying to cover up smoke smell). Not too far from Hard Rock Casino. Paid more than I would have liked. But was good for the one night we needed it for, probably would not stay here again due to smell and basically no breakfast. Hotel staff were pleasant.

I really liked that there was a kitchen. It made fixing daytime meals easy for my mom while I was at work. She liked it better than the place she stayed on her previous visit.

Hotel was disgusting! Blood on the sheets and everything dirty. We’re checked out within 5 minutes of checking in and went to another hotel. The staff was nice and understanding. They informed me that I was not supposed to be given that room, offered me a free stay voucher and gave me a refund.

One of few "non-smoking" motels I stayed in on this trip which did not smell everywhere of stale somoke, or worse. Also stove and kitchen was a cool option.

The front desk clerks were very nice the hotel was clean and quiet. There were just a couple of stray hairs on the shower curtain and what looked like mold in the shower. But I would stay again.

We arrived late after driving from Virginia and dropping my son off at the military. I already paid for my room. The computers were down and updating for a 2nd time tonight and I am currently waiting in the lobby. It’s been over 39 minutes and still no room. The check in lady was awesome but it is absolutely ridiculous that I am still waiting here with a potential 20-30 more minute wait with no guarantee of a room anytime soon.

Stayed for one night for a conference. Likes the location and that the room had a kitchen. Front desk was helpful.

Stayed here many times. Though I don't usually have trouble getting an accessible room, this was the first time I was able to get an accessible parking spot. The gentleman at the desk was friendly and helpful as always. This stay, though, has made me reconsider future stays until the hotel has been updated. The fridge in the accessible room sounded like a boat motor, too loud to sleep for me. Called the desk and was given the room next door, the gentleman even brought the key cards up and checked out the room for noise. However there were bulbs in two of the four lamps that didn't work, including the one at the desk. In the morning there was no one to report that to. Finally, and maybe I just didn't read the policies thoroughly, the property does not accept cash for stays shorter than 6 nights, even with a credit card hold for incidentals. Might be time to stay elsewhere when I'm in the area.

There was nothing special about it, but it was clean was accommodating for the one night we needed it. Definitely wouldn’t book for a longer stay. Room had a unpleasant odor.

Needs to be cleaner. As soon as I walked into the vestibule, it had a funky smell, the carpet on 3rd floor dirty, and carpet and fridge door in room 311 was dirty along with the old ugly curtains. I paid $128 and it was not worth it. I paid LaQuinta $78 with tax and it was much cleaner. I traveled for buisness.

Was not the cleanest in general. Additionally, super odd sweet smell in the room that would not dissipate with windows open. Staff needs to check source.

Great property! Front desk people (Chelsea and Wally) were both extremely courteous and treated me more like family than a guest at the property. Wonderful place to stay in the Rockford, Illinois area!

The facility was horrible. The smell of the establishment was offensive. Did not feel safe at all. Plexiglass at counter. Huge dogs walking around the hallways. Linen was not sanitized. Strip club across the street (Tiger Tails)!! How is this a family-friendly establishment?!

Having a kitchen was great. You need to request kitchen supplies from desk when you arrive. Just the basics are provided, but does the job.

There were a few door slams in the night but besides that it was a pleasant stay. Very clean and extremely friendly staff.

If you need a place to stay for several nights and intend to bring your own food, then this may be the place for you. But not for an overnight stay. There is no coffee in the room. No ice machine on the premises, and the bathroom is extremely small. Also, as we were entering the building there was a distinct smell of cigarette smoke, and you could smell it in the hallways as well, which were narrow and felt more like an old second rate apartment building. However, the rooms were updated and clean.

My only issue is having a stove and nothing to cook with. I’ve stayed at extended stays before had the kitchen the stove and stuff to cook with. To not have that stuff in a room with a stove is just plain weird

The water was way too soft making it hard to rinse off soap. Don't soften the cold water. I like having a blanket instead of just a quilt. A quilt is generally way too warm if the room temp is right.

It was clean and quiet. I did have to wait a out 1.5 hours to check in because Hotels.com said the hotel lost my confirmed reservation and the hotel says it was all hotels.com fault and they lost the reservation. I had to sit in the parking lot the whole time and was on hold for over an hour

Friendly employees, clean rooms but loud, loud fridge in room. Overall very hot but you can turn it down using the thermostat, units just confusing. Breakfast isn’t breakfast just some granola bars. Luckily there’s a vending machines.

Perfectly fine hotel

I have stayed here before and it did not disappoint this time either. It was so quiet, I felt bad checking in after midnight though I tried to be as quiet as possible also. I didn't get to take advantage of any of the amenities except to place my ice packs in the full size fridge freezer. I would definitely stay again.

I like the fact they have on site laundry facilities but the fact they dont have hot breakfast and fruit is a bummer The Manager Dan is Awwsome he goes over and beyond to his guest. Any concerns he gets right on it pronto

The smoke detector battery was going off most of the night because the battery was dieing. Then the front counter girl took forever and told me to just go back to my room without it I insisted her to find me a battery because if something happens to our family its her faut. If you work 3rd shift at the front desk of a hotel you know were the extra smoke detector batteries are!
