We booked last minute, and pick ot because it was close to where we needed to be. It was a very good choice. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast had good choices. And for dinner the restaurant next door ( the tavern on clark) was amazing.

Overall the property was fine. No major complaints. The breakfast was pretty good

This hotel is showing its age and needs some TLC. The room was clean. The internet was slow and the business center computer had trouble connecting- the night clerk did help but no help the next morning. Breakfast was ok. Location was convenient

My wife and I were travelling from Alberta to Ontario, on day 3 of a multi-day drive. This was the third hotel that we booked through Expedia, with the previous two being amazing. We arrived at around 8 PM local time - tired from an almost 10-hour drive from North Dakota. As we walked in, we noticed immediately that the hotel was dated and the air quality was poor. We checked in with the help of the hotel's general manager (Mr. Patel), it was swift. We were given a room in the third floor, and although the initial vibes were not good, we decided to proceed. As we exited the elevator, we noticed that the hallway carpeting was heavily stained in some sections. We walked in the room and I went straight to the bathroom. I noticed the foul smell of urine right away. The room was very dated and overall, was not in good condition. One section of a wall had a hole, and the floor looked filthy. The air quality in the room left nothing to be desired, which may have been caused by cigarette smoke. We checked out about an hour later, as soon as we secured accommodation with another hotel. We turned the card over to Mr. Patel, who did not seem surprised. Be warned, the photos shared by hotel management are far from reality. We wasted $115 on this booking. Not as advertised!!!

Closeness to stores and restaurants. Staff was friendly. Very dirty and outdated. Poorly maintained rooms. There’s a strip joint exactly across the street.

We had a mixup with Expedia regarding our reservation and the manager was AMAZING. He refunded our deposit and gave us a room. He also recommended a restaurant which gave us a discount for staying at the hotel. There was an old stain on one of the pillowcases, but we just switched to another pillow, there were so many! We would definitely stay here again.

Hard beds, fridge stank like death. Room was very moist and stinky. Also the shower was crappy and all the flooring through out was creaky and clunking around. Elevator took a crap as well. Other guests noisey, inconsiderate and foul smelling.

Walls and shower were dirty. And.the carpet was wet by the far bed upon check in random hairs all over the counter as well.

Stayed during some rough weather and the staff was pleasant. Breakfast was adequate for a room that was under $100.00 a night. Had nice amenities in the room and the room was comfortable. Parking was fine and many food options close by.

good heating not too noisy, reasonably fast hot water, but the blankets are too warm and dont breathe well. teh tv channels are very slow to change and difficult to see what's on the schedule

It was relatively easy to get to. There’s a great restaurant next door-Tavern on Clark. The bed was comfortable. The room was under maintained. If they put some money into replacing furniture, better overseeing the breakfast facility to ensure to not run out of things, that would be more appealing. Last night the smoke alarm went off at 6am & a few times later. There was no fire, fortunately but the heat in the hallway was turned up, as I was told by the front desk person and set off the alarm. The elevator was out of commission the first day there and I moved myself from the third floor to the first. A number of TV stations weren’t working in my first room.

Could have been a little cleaner.

1) Rm#118. Woke up to find 2 black bugs crawling on my bed! No apology from front desk! No follow-up from management! 2) No maid service. Flimsy towels. Garbage not removed from room. 3) No heat in bathroom. 4) Lobby furniture & hallway carpet are filthy & worn out. 5) Continental breakfast is ok. Would be nice if you could get syrup out of the dispenser. Sugar-free syrup? Nope! 6) Pot smokers in room next to mine smoking skunk weed that permeated into my room. 7) Guy next door sitting on the floor in front of his room talking on his phone. 8) Paint chipping off the walls. Nope, I'll never go back to this disguting place!

Please improve uour breakfast options. The peanut butter was old. The eggs were tasteless. Coffee was very good! Please offer fresh fruit variety, 2 people in our party are alergic to bananas and that's the only fresh fruit option here.

This Hotel is A hidden gem, the room were clean it was quiet, breakfast was a 7/10. The staff were laidback. Lots of restaurants in the area and it’s near the casino. I would definitely stay again

The room was not the cleanest especially the shower. The refrigerator did not work the fan would not stay on. I stayed two nights and the first morning at 11:05 I got a phone call from the front desk asking if I was ever checking out.

The side door of the hotel has major construction going on which they left a DISASTER all over the ground stuff blowing inside the doors too!

The OK. Shower water pressure was ok. Coulda been better. The hot water was hot, but I like a good scold and it wouldnt get there all the way up. More just a normal hot. The BAD. Very slow draining sink in room 305. Grossssss. That's kinda all though. The NOT HOTEL'S FAULT. Around 10:30 pm, which I was still awake, but... my neighbor slammed the living hades out of his door, which was not pleasant when one is winding down.

The room was OK. The staff was courteous. The place was clean enough, but everything is a bit shabby. Good location with easy access to I 90.

I paid $195 a night and this property was very out dated. The showers were like what you put in a tiny home. There was belongings from the last person in my room which indicates it was not properly cleaned.

Very out dated rooms, no usb ports to charge electronics, mold on the curtains, tv very small, remote was broke and cracked, asked for room service to get new bed sheets as I stayed for 6 days and all they did was come and make the bed, did not take off old sheets and put new sheets on.

It was fine for a one-night stay. Room was clean and fairly comfortable. Walls are perhaps just a little bit thin because you could hear a decent amount of noise from the hallway/other rooms. Breakfast was good, not great, about what you'd expect from a hotel in this price range. No significant complaints. Just an average to slightly above average hotel.

The hotel was not very clean, and the carpet throughout the property was worn and unpleasant. While the front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming, unfortunately the overall standard of cleanliness was disappointing.

Could use remodeling. Beds were really soft. I think worn. Great location. My wife liked close to the casino.

Rooms need updating ~ armour was totally scratched/stained, the trim under frig was broken, sink stained & slow draining, shower door didnt quite fit/not a good seal so water was all over the floor and bath mat soaked.

Check in was fine. The hallways were very dim with the walls and ceiling definitly showing their age. From the moment we opened the door to our room it smelled very damp and musty like an old basement. We were there for 2 nights and it never got any better with the air conditioner unable to keep upas well. The hallways as well as the downstairs was very warm and the selections for the so called hot breakfast were limited at best.

This SLEEP INN always comes up and I’m always surprised at how affordable it is, yet it’s highly rated. Too good to be true? Here’s my real deal review (and I would never mislead my fellow travelers)….this is a well managed, no frills hotel. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The beds are nice and comfortable and everything is well maintained. The worst thing I can confess is that there is slight odor of cheap cleaning chemicals in the rooms and in the hallways. So yes, the good reviews are well deserved and the value is great.

Beds were quite hard, bathrooms were a bit unclean, but for the price, it was perfectly acceptable.

We checked in and went to our room and it was filthy. There were hairs in the sheets, toilet ran constantly, floors were stained and soiled and bathroom was nasty. Nothing like the pictures. There is a strip club across the street also which made for an unsafe feeling. We asked for a refund but were denied a refund. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The place was falling apart and the bathroom had damage. It smells like they are trying to cover up tobacco smoke with their glade plugins. The Breakfast was like warm and gross.

My room smelled of mildew & mold. The humidity could not be mitigated because the AC didn't dry it up (no wonder it was mildewy). The front desk person told me that he didn't have the authority to cancel & refund my 2nd & 3rd unused nights after I decided to leave following the first night. Thankfully & to their credit Expedia backedme up & sawto it that I could cancel & be refunded for the unused nights. The sleep inn's front desk person was telling me that I'd have to wait for his boss to get back to me. That was their position. He showed me 2 other rooms that had the same smell before I took Expedia up on their offer to refund me. I can't emphasize enough how happy I am with them for protecting their customer's from the red tape some of these hotels would have us go thru over issues on their side.

Very friendly staff, but wouldn’t return. The rooms smelled musty and carpeting felt wet. Bathroom door was hard to open and close — got stuck inside once. TV was very small and picture was cut off on top and bottom of whatever you were viewing. Stains on comforter (just old comforters).

Bathroom sink was dirty. Shower door has mold on the bottom. Bathroom pocket door did not close because it was out of alignment. There were dark brown smudges on the wall next to the toilet.

The check in experience was fine and breakfast was satisfactory and as expected. The room smelled awful and so did the closet. The sink was also slightly clogged.

Management failed to control the loud kids running around, loud. Little to no space to sit for breakfast.

Property is basic. Small rooms and bathroom. What creeped me out was the feel of the carpet. Was really dirty and felt gross. Immediately put shoes on and told everyone to keep them on. Looked for any other issues in the room. Seemed ok. Went to sleep. With about an hour of breakfast left there wasn’t anything left to eat. Sausage was gone, waffle mix was empty No one available to ask. Not my best stay. You get what you pay for.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! As soon as we walked into our room there was a roach crawling on the desk, we immediately went downstairs and asked for a refund because we were not going to stay there, they tried giving us another room, but if it’s in one room, it’s in all. They refused to give us a refund. Place should be shut down and management is horrible, took months to try and get ahold of them! STAY AWAY!!

Average hotel. We chose this hotel because it was close to the interstate. It's an older hotel, basic but clean. There is a restaurant by the parking lot if you don't want to drive any more, expensive but good.

From our stay in Iowa on Friday and this stay at Rockford on say the Rockford stay was much better. The Rockford hotel has more security that you had to use your room key to get in the side doors were the Iowa doors was just unlocked. Also Rockford had more selection for break. I do believe that both hotels are the same company. Both need to offer shower gel. Rockford had at least lotion with shampoo and conditioner. The Iowa sis not have lotion.

The curtains/drapes had food or something else on them. Furniture chipped, lamp shade happen big stain on it. But what did really concern me was that there were groups of men out front just walking about. I went and got gas and dinner before it got dark and got back to my room and locked the door until morning and go up and left

The shower was dark and did not care for the pocket door into the bathroom. the tv was one of the smallest we have seen in a hotel room. Although the breakfast was fine the room was much too small for a hotel of that size, we ended up taking our breakfast up to the room. overall the hotel is in need of a refresh.

The hotel is a bit older. Rooms were nice although it would have been nice to have a bathtub. Coffee in the morning was terrible. Eggs and sausage were fine although the English muffins seems like they were weeks old. Good price. Easy to find. Good for the price.
