Extended Stay America Premier Suites San Jose Airport

​The biggest issue was the cleanliness. The room and common areas just did not feel properly cleaned or well-maintained, which made it hard to feel comfortable during my stay. While the layout of the hotel and the general concept are good, the lack of attention to housekeeping really pulled the whole experience down. I hope management works on improving their cleaning standards, as the hotel has potential, but I won't be rushing back anytime soon.

I booked a room with 2 beds but they can only give me a room with ine bed and a sofa bed. Terrible

The property was very secure. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was lacking, only instant oatmeal and muffins. The room I had was to the front of the property, so we heard the road noise at night. I just wish I had time to enjoy the hot tub.😊

Well front desk was ok we checked in at 330 and room wasn't ready, the house keeping people were very rude,we asked for blanket told me to late an ask why my husband was going back an forward when he was getting my coffee at breakfast an oh breakfast was just muffins an coffee an oatmeal, didn't like the stay to while was up all night cuz people above us keep walking hard on floor

Worst most ghetto extended stay ever. Gross unit. Hall smells like vinrgar & piss. Have to ask for cups. Breakfast is trash. Shower was busted water spraying everwhere. Water color is gross. Toilet backs up. Couch made of plastic. One chair at dining table which really just a desk. Stay away. Avoid at all costs.

Housekeeping clean only 1 per week 😒...

All good but make sure you lock your car because it will get gone through and you will be ripped off. From the amount of broken glass in the parking lot it might be better if you don't lock it so at least you won't get your windows smashed.

the manager tried to barge their way into the to my room and they were saying that smoke alarm was going off and I was like what are they talking about and and I said you can't come in here and she was pushing on the door and I finally have a push the door closed and then she said knocking and knocking and knocking so I open the door and let her look and there was nothing there but a blinking light on the smoke alarm and it was blinking green I can always does. very unprofessional the lady told me she was a manager but she was wearing a maid suit. when I brought this to the attention to the management they told me that they had no idea what I was talking about and then nothing ever happened so I told him I said okay when I knocked this place on her ass because he came in my room without permission and just barge your way in there I'm going to be like nothing happened sir

horrible I had to get up in a minute and I was sleepwalking and like I was told to drive out of there and then you know I know choice but to drive out of there and the manager of the place jumped and tried to attack my car so I put it in reverse and smacked into a car behind me. hotel move me to another hotel that I was on I do not rent list at. tell me and kicked us out. I'm going to be asking for a refund for this whole time I was there but this on the incident that cost me so much havoc that I went to the hospital that day and I was able to able to walk away thank God. horrible place don't go there

No shuttle service despite saying in Expedia.

Place is great but the only thing that I don't like is I just try to take the trash outside to the trash dumpster and it's closed and locked. They had me put it inside in a room called a trash room that is kind of disgusting isn't it I mean what is that? But very well I'm not the one that runs this PlacrSo I would suggest that you know that trash can't you know be kept outside but you know where the the rats and you know all the rodent stay or outside right You don't want them coming inside do you? Please forward to upper management or a corporate office that's what I would like to do but I'm going to a third party so I use a third party to do this for me thank you

2/ good coffee, snacks to go (muffins, boiled eggs, yogurts, oatmeal, hot cacao packs, and different teas) every morning. The early morning staff had coffee and breakfast ready at 6am sharp! 3/ the deluxe studio with the couch and full kitchen and a large flatscreen TV with a good selection of program was nice. Plenty of room for my dogs to play while I cooked our meals. 4/ cooking ware was provided as complementary by the front desk, so I didn’t need to buy anything. 5/ VTA is 2-3 wall, and that was convenient for me as I had to go to work at 6:30am. It’s the green and blue lines. 6/ Close to Japantown via VTA (13 minutes) or walking (48 minutes). 7/ clean rooms and amazing housekeeping staff! THANK YOU!!! Cons: - many guests smoked marijuana inside the rooms and outside. When front desk was available, they did handle it. - the water was not clear at all. Overall, it was a great experience! Everything seemed to be fine but I went up to the front desk to get a key because I couldn't get into my room and the desk worker said that he didnt know how to make one. Kind of weird right? The person person didn't like they workes here. The night before our toilet clogged and I had to get a plunger. The guy asked me espenol? I had to show him with an action of moving a fake one up and down. I'm white I don't speak spanish. The only person that look like they work here is thev manager and the maids. I didn't have my key to room the person I caretake for was sleeping and I had wake him up. I was come on you don't know how to make a key? But you can look us up in the system and for actually that's the right questions you know to verify that we're on the room but he does not make a key? Very unprofessional. My husband is a deep sleeper due his mental health meds. How was I supposed to get in the room? He woke thanfully and he let me in. I had the other key made later and Indian guy working at the front asked me for my ID and told me that's not you. He asked me my birthdate and gave me hard time. I told him but that's not nice to say to somebody that's already checked in and been here for A few days. It made me feel unconftetable

Bed was uncomfortable - too soft - it sagged. No box spring - just a mattress over a 1” mat. The breakfast was sparse - muffins, coffee, instant oatmeal but no bowls or milk. Yogurt 1 day then no yogurt the next day. And FYI - my rental truck was broken into at the front of the hotel entrance (in hotel parking lot). Found out 2 other cars were recently broken into in same parking lot the previous week. And of course - there are no video security cameras in the front parking lot.

This hotel is very fancy and very cozy with all the amenities I was looking for large refrigerator stove so I can cook my meals I really enjoyed staying at this hotel.

Overall I give the place ten. However, the business is surrounding were somewhat of a I guess distraction, because I'd noticed him.And then to access it was kind of difficult at that light there coming in off of brokaw, but overall, as I said, I give it a complete tin.

Everything was adequate, except for noisy neighbors.

The room was really nice and the staff was great. The set up of the room was a bit odd, but our stay was comfortable for one night. I wish the breakfast had actual real food instead of packaged food that tasted bad.

Room was clean, staff was very nice. Breakfast was pretty weak, no juice, no milk, but adequate I guess. The bed, although comfortable was low to the ground and extremely loud!! It creaked and squeaked and was a little ridiculous for such a nice room.

I booked a room at this property online, but when I arrived, they told me that my room was not available. Instead, they directed me to a different location. Although they managed to find one room, it was far from where all my meetings and conferences were scheduled. This was very inconvenient and not what I expected when making the reservation.

Long hair on refrigerator, towel on the floor as soon as walking into the room, stuff didn’t take out trash in trash cans under the sink and bath tub not in good condition.

They should’ve had a regular continental breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at the 55 E. Brokaw Location. Staff is on top of everything and resolves any problems very quickly.

Pretty good place. Needs some improvement, specially on the breakfast to go. There are not much options. Otherwise is just fine.

You get what you paid for. Room had a funny smell and the shower did not work. They moved us room quickly to a room with no smell and working shower.

This hotel is very convenience for everything. With full kitchen, towels , breakfast ect…if you need they give you right away. I love this place, I also like the hot tube . The staffs are very friendly.I recommend everyone should try this hotel.

No remote for the tv so we couldn’t use it. No one at front desk to help. Long wait at front desk for someone to show up to get any service. You have to request everything, including very basics like shampoo. It’s meant for extended trips so you have a kitchen but it’s completely bare. You have to request everything. Pots, pans, cutlery, plates etc and good luck getting someone at the desk. The toilet and kitchen sink pluming was terrible, they sprayed water.

Very affordable, clean and the best part, there swimming pool was open. Kids loved it

I was there for 13 days and there wasn’t room service they kept skipping my room , I had to ask for towels in a few ovations and for clean bedding everything else was good .

It was chill honestly I got plenty of sleep and made it back to the airport lol

When i came back to the room today there was this horrible smell theat smelled like a portapotty and a little while later the front desk person came to our room and told us that we cant use our water for an hour because there is a plumbing issue. I feel like we should have had a warning way before right now now i cant even use the bathroom this sucks

Day 2: we get back to hotel after our outing and our access card was deactivated: intercom kept ringing/ no one attended to it, I kept calling the hotel phone number and to no avail. We kept waiting along another couple who was also late arrival / waiting to check in, outside the hotel in the cold until a guest granted us access. I knocked at the laundry mat room (from check-in date) as instructed by housekeeper if needed assistance she’d be available; she attended couple first and had to look for a room as their system was shut down after a certain time, meanwhile we kept waiting for access to our room. Couldn’t leave anymore because card would not be activated till the next day. By the time we finally got access to the room over half an hour had passed.

Staff is very accommodating abd kind, the rooms and surrounding areas are very clean. The pool and hot tub are a great way for my kids and I to relax. I will be extending my stay in the future

The staff is always kind and accommodating, I had a concern and the manager attentively listend and fixed it immediately. It's the perfect safe place for my 2 kids and myself. We will be extending our stay!

It is great value for money. Parking is free, no up sale. Staff are fast at check in/out. Extended checkout is an option at no additional which was handy as I got up late. Room is clean and bug free. Clean place with good value.

We have waited 6-8 minutes until the front desk person showed up…. And we were given the room who was still staying there. The second room we got was bad smell.

I was very disappointed when I arrived at the property the sink was not draining . They said it will be next day to fix it . I requested a similar room with 2 queen bed but they can only provide 1 quuen and 1 pulled out couch . When i saw the couch its was dirty and stained . They gave me a new mattress but not same as the queen bed quality. I paid for the 2 queen bed and the manager never called me back to give me a credit or refund. Terrible service . Not clean. I would not go back or recommend this place to anybody.

The 1st room, tv was broken. 2nd room door to bathroom was stuck and bathroom socket was not working.

Room, not so great. Door to separate bathroom and bed was broken, would not open. Tv is placed in a way that is not facing the bed or the couch. Floor was sticky when we walked in. No complimentary anything except one bar of soap. Hallways smell like food which I understand it is an extended stay, but it was seeping into our room. 4/10 recommend to stay here. If you just need somewhere to sleep this place is fine but if you want to be comfortable and feel clean, spend a little more elsewhere

The staff was very friendly, and the property was clean. I thought there was a pool and hot tub, but on arrival I found they were closed for the season- which is odd because it’s not really cold outside. You have to go to her front desk to get anything for the kitchen and shampoo, which isn’t convenient; however, perhaps they have issue with some clientele. An average stay, but disappointed with the pool and hot tub.

Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. We stayed just one night but we were upset that the guests were so loud. We were hoping to get a good night’s rest, but there was loud people playing music and slamming doors.

The water in the shower was room temp. The faucet on the sink was broken.

You can tell it was whipped down not really cleaned. I found black small hairs every where in kitchen even in bath and bathtub room my hair is blonde currently. One of the burners on the stove did not work so i had to only use one. Differently would not stay here again.

We came in to check in, it was 1am everything was dark. We understand it was late. No lights inside we waited outside in the rain for 30 minutes until another person staying at the hotel let us in. This whole time I’m trying to call with no answer. We were at the front desk for another 15 min with no one in sight. We can hear an iPhone alarm going off in the back behind a closed door. Finally a young lady came out half asleep to check us in. In the bathtub there was hair around the tub that did not belong to us. When checking out we had a 6 hour drive home and attempted to call every 20 min with no answer. Never staying here again and letting everyone know of this horrible experience

My employee was on a business trip and his two night were disrupted due to the extended team evacuating his floor and didn’t give him warning which disrupted his sleep and work performance for next day. Unfortunately not the best experience

The first room I was in had no blinds for the window and also bugs on the wall and shower. I asked to change room and staff was really nice about that. Overall, good customer service but room needs to be clean and redone

The lady at check in was very nice and accommodating when I had to exchange my room because of the couch. Or room was a little outdated and small however we were only there for one night, flying out of SJC the next morning. The bathroom tub/shower faucet was tricky to use.

The building is a little old but upkeep is ok. The only issue I had was the upper floor made banging noises for 5 hours straight every night until almost 1 AM was exhausting

This was a very simple hotel. I recommend for short stays. I booked one night to avoid driving back to the valley on a game weekend. The walls aren't sound proof so keep that in mind if you're particular about noisy neighbors. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was a good short stay. No problems

The walls in our room had kids drawings in permanent marker all over. But it was clean.

I cannot imagine why would anybody design a shower that would make it impossible to turn it on. This was a simple bath tub based shower that two leavers ( one stacked on top of the other)

This was the worst stay. Came to the site around midnight and no one was at front desk and was not able to even get into the building. I had to stay in my Car in a city and neighborhood I did not know, and couldn’t decide whether to keep trying in the hope someone shows up and answers the phone or opens the door or get much needed rest in the car after a long exhausting day. To make matters worse, called the location and talked to different people during business hours but still have not received a call back from the “manager”. Worst experience.

This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Awful experience, I had a breaking and entering in the middle of the day and when police came there were nearly no surveillance footage for them to view so if you want to pay for a hotel room and then get robbed, good luck you’ve found the right place, for those of you who haven’t lost your sanity, avoid this place at all costs!!!!! I decided to leave this hotel right away and switched to a safer place, when I asked for refunds for the days I didn’t stayed in, they denied it with no hesitation whatsoever, which really makes me wonder if their staffs knowingly work with armed criminals and make a dirty profit from such activity. Just disgusting.

Found lots of hair left all over the bathroom when we got in. Also there was a fight (yelling) outside in the halls made it hard to sleep.

My vacation was good at Extended Stay America, till nxt time!!

We needed extra blankets and pillows and went to the front desk to grab some. Thank goodness we did when we did because the guy after us asked for some extra pillows and blankets and he was told he would have to wait until the laundry was done. In the morning when we went to check out around 5 am, there was nobody at the front desk, just a sign telling us to go to the laundry room around the corner. When I went to the laundry room nobody was there. I waited for about 10 minutes walking up and down the hallway and back to the front desk. Nobody was around to help. So I just left my key cards close to the front desk computer and prayed nobody would steal the cards or that I’d eventually be checked out.

This place served it's purpose in an emergency were my flight was canceled. Thank you to the staff
