Great stay! Nice room with above average amenities. Only negative was that we were told free parking and it was $25 a night. However that would not deter me from staying there again.

There was bags on the smoke alarms. The maintenance came and removed them and said people put them on because they smoke weed. The room smelled like weed bad I complain to staff nothing was done. My kids coughed all night. Complained to staff again and nothing was done. Terrible terrible terrible place.

Very convenient location. Kitchen was a plus, housekeeping was very good. Having breakfast everyday was plus.

Most of the staff is very friendly. However, I’m not sure why the water from the front desk is sometimes considered an extra charge, while other times it’s not. Parking is not included, but it’s reasonable. This is a great place to stay, whether you’re on a long business trip or with a family.

The staff was very helpful and my room was somewhat clean. There was stains on the night stands and on my sheets.

Lovely stay. We had a great room corner suite which was very private and quiet. Amenities are wonderful. I wasn’t able to connect my phone to tv to livestream but that’s ok may be user error. Also only complaint is bath kind of smelled like sewer.

Staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The location is right next to a transit line which helps if you are commuting to different areas in the Bay!

I was upset that they wanted to charge me each day for parking: I was not told about a parking fee - they were gracious enough to waive the fee after I protested the large charge for one night! Shouldn’t Expedia have told me?

Better amenities and breakfast

The property is well maintained. Parking however is not maintained by the hotel; you have to pay PMC online for parking. Water pressure is not consistent. Also, it takes some figuring of turning the faucet to get hot water for shower. Complementary breakfast is just okay, especially bacon is just one of those cheap paper thin fake bacon.

The location is ideal if you are looking to visit different parts of bay area, as it sits centrally in the bay area. I really do not see any real reason to charge for parking in a city like San Jose, where there is ample space. I understand it is a revenue stream but charging $20/night is outrageous as it quickly adds up if you are staying for longer.

The room was large and very nice and very clean. Lots of plugs and a nice couch and even a kitchen island. The breakfast was included and was good. The staff called us by name and was very friendly. We had to pay for parking but at least it was quick with a QR code

Bed sheets were not changed. Had bread crumbs, salt and pepper plus hair all over. Very gross, will not recommend.

Property was clean and felt homey - blankets were soft. Wish they had make the menus available for order. There was just a menu with a QR code to show what was available but not how to order room services. so that was unclear. Phones did not work, and there was no slipper. I liked that there was a shuttle available to the airport

Everything was great! With the exception of paying for parking. Why is it everywhere in the bay area you have to pay a parking fee? Including your hotel! The hotel itself was great. How about some free parking though!!!

They did comp my dinner (hamburger) and Gene tried to make it right by making us a couple drinks and I was allowed a late check out by an hour. Roberto the guy who checked me in, blamed the new girl. Took no responsibility. If not for Gene the while things would have been a bust. I'll think twice next time.

It was clean and quiet. Good parking area with polite professional service. My room was a good size with clean linen and even provided a baby crib at no extra cost. 👍 Hot breakfast was great with a few selection of choices.

This place was wonderful! Roberto at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. He made our stay at Hyatt relaxing and we will definitely be coming back here in our next visit to San Jose. It is clean, quiet, and a great place to call home away from home.

Everything went so well on our short business trip. We were able to do a early check in, the breakfast was excellent and using the shuttle, is so helpful and timely.

Staff was amazing, room was fantastic! Centrally located to everything we needed to do while there and find fun things to do in our down time. Will definitely stay there again! The only thing we didn’t necessary enjoy was the breakfast buffet, food was only lukewarm and seemed to have been sitting for some time.

Room & facility were great. Check in was spoiled by an overconvoluted app-based parking registration! Can't just write down car type & plate #? No, had to use an app + cc number, then later find out $50 for parking! No one mentioned that, very dishonest and greatly over-inflated rate for this non-downtown area. Breakfast was below expectations.

the room was dark, unable to find light switches anywhere. also wanted a tub, which I saw in the listing. They assume everyone knows how to use scan for parking. And the instructions to move the elevator were naught.

Rooms generally were fine, but some lights did not work in our bathroom. No fan in bathroom so the mirror fogged often. Surrounding area is okay, but food options require a drive.

Paid for king suite, but stayed in 2 queen beds instead. Was initially put into an Accessibility suite that had a king bed but the washroom was a disaster and floor carpets were dirty (that suite needs major renovation asap). Afterwards was put in a 2 queen bed suite which met expectations. Didn't bother checking the rate differences in the end but this should have never happened. Breakfast was provided so that was a good thing. Rest of the hotel was clean and well maintained otherwise. Parking was charged extra which was a disappointment.

Our stay was pleasant and comfortable. Location was great- near to airport yet quiet accommodation. Complementary breakfast buffet was above average. Would not hesitate booking this hotel on our next stay in San Jose.

First time staying at Hyatt House in San Jose. What a great experience from first step in lobby and being welcomed by Cecilia at the front desk. Cecilia was so amazing! Super friendly and helpful, such amazing service. So informative and made sure if we needed anything to just give her a call at the front desk or just ask anytime we were in the lobby. Cecilia went above and beyond my expectations...really top notch service!

Conveniently pickup from airport, transit station across from hotel, free breakfast, great bar, the bed was super comfortable and room spotless.

Front desk lady that was working Thursday 7/31 around 7pm was one of the coldest and unfriendly hotel workers Ive ever encountered. She didn't greet me or tell me anything about the property. Then she gave us an accessible room for some reason even though I never requested this on a non busy weekday. It was so inconvenient having things lower than normal. Breakfast was okay but my wife found a hair in the omelette because the workers don't wear hairnets. One elevator was down for 2 nights and on the final morning all the elevators broke down and you could only usw the stairs. I don't know why this place has 9.0 when it's more like 7.0. Never coming here again.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Hyatt Hotel. The employees were friendly and attentive. I will be using this hotel in the future. It was clean. The gym was nice. And the pool was a fun family area. I mainly enjoyed the kitchen amenities. I highly recommend the stay.

Chose hotel based on proximity to airport, free shuttle and reviews. Hotel was comfortable, clean and safe - very important when traveling solo. Enjoyed the nice outdoor pool also. Staff was super nice!

In addition, the room did not appear to be properly cleaned. The bathroom trash had not been emptied, the tissue box was already partially used, the kitchen floor had not been swept, and there was a strong musty, humid odor throughout the space. I sprayed it with room deodorizer but the smell persisted. These issues reflect a lack of attention to basic guest needs and facility upkeep.

Manager and team was very polite. Breakfast was good, WiFi was an issue for me and put me behind in work as well as school I am not sure why.

I had to wait over 45 minutes for a room to be ready.

Hyatt house is an awesome hotel. My family of 5 stayed for one night. We chose this hotel because of the room size, a pool available, and that breakfast was offered in the morning. The room was great with a kitchenette and stocked with essential.

Second, we had a 5th floor room and the shower pressure was non existence. Since the shower head fixture is not handheld, it was a pain to shower, taking much longer time. Third, the omelette station was closed the entire weekend, or at least after 8 am when we came down to breakfast. Going back to parking, it is not free, use an app to pay, which makes the lower price of hotel stay a little disingenuous. Overall, we had a good stay, but for the price we paid and the lack of amenities advertised, we may pause for future booking.

This is our second time staying here. Very clean room and friendly staff. This is now our go-to spot when needing to book a room in the San Jose area.

My only complaint was that the doors to the rooms shut very loudly and I could hear closing doors at night.

For the price, it was super good and worth it! It was so spacious, clean, and had everything we needed down to the kitchen utensils! This was my second time here and I would not hesitate to go back! Loved it!

This time I had issues with identity theft from their annoying QR code parking app. Also I requested a higher room due to having insomnia. They gave me a lower room with torn bed sheets that was extremely noisy. I left a full day early. I have 2 more trips coming up at Hyatt Place nextdoor. I pray those trips will be better than this one. I stay in Hotels every week for work and normally book with Hilton or Marriott. I should have stuck with Hilton. I almost feel like canceling my upcoming stays with Hyatt and rebooking with Hilton. If you have insomnia or value sleep, do NOT stay here. Also you will get identity theft from their parking QR codes.

My flight was cancelled and I needed a place to stay by the airport. What sold me on this property was the free shuttle (yay!) the advertised bar and restaurant (argh). The bartender showed up over an hour late and the selection of wines was ONE … very cheap bottle. Very sad. The menu was frozen chicken wings and nachos… and maybe a sad hot dog that has been reheated BC. Thank god for Tito’s vodka and DoorDash. Don’t go for the ambience or evening vibe. (It doesn’t exist). Breakfast was typical soggy potatoes and …. wait they had an omelette bar!!! Three stars for the omelette bar, clean sheets and free shuttle.

We were locked out of our room because the key card did not work. The front desk person had a lot of attitude and said there was nothing they could do until the following day.

Gave me a handicap room, which was clearly defective. Shower didn’t work and was open. Air didn’t work great. Tried to call front desk to inform them, but room phone also didn’t work. Gathered my belongings and went to front desk where one attendant acknowledged the room was defective, but the other was rude and just said “sorry no other rooms tonight”. Said they would send maintenance the next day, but they never showed and fixed the issue so basically went without a shower for three days.

The room was perfect, especially the kitchen table area, which worked wonderfully for virtual meetings. I even received compliments on the background during calls! The location was ideal, with great dining options within walking distance and easy train access to Levi’s Stadium, saving both time and money. After a long day, having the restaurant open when I returned was the cherry on top of an already fantastic experience. Hyatt House truly delivered. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort and convenience!
