Beautiful hotel and gorgeous garden. The staff were courteous and helpful. I didn’t like the vanity with sink. It is too small and has no room to place all of my toiletries. The light there needs to be brighter. The internet connection was awful and I was unable to make overseas call/texts. We were placed in handicapped room which we didn’t ask for. We booked for room with free breakfast and we paid for breakfast twice.

Very friendly employees, bright & cheerful lobby. Room was modern, clean, comfortable king size bed, well lit from sliding glass door out to balcony (view of beautiful mature trees), lots of lighting (including next to the firm yet cozy chaise lounge), small refrigerator, TV, good size closet, full length mirror and clean and modern large shower with great shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Friendly M restaurant employees and a delicious full breakfast buffet-great way to start the day. Three elevators for six story hotel was nice so very little waiting.

Lack of communication and response was the true downfall. After missing the cleaning I stopped by and requested cleaning at the front desk. It never happened. No one showed up. It’s unfortunate because we were planning future stays in san Ramon. We’ll look for other hotels, even if it’s a little far. Staff can use additional training.

I was here for a wedding at this hotel. Overall, the property is newly renovated and finished well. However, their hospitality suite is on a regular floor with other rooms, and actually right next to a bedroom - the perfect recipe for noise complaints and a ruined night for everyone. Additionally, housekeeping knocks on your door at all hours of the day - I was awoken from an afternoon nap, and in the morning.

Check in lady did not greet us or interact with us . When asked where parking was , she just pointed out the door . Morning time , the staff was dismissive when asking about where I can find the breakfast area . Approaches the bar staff and was ignored . Hotel was very clean and housekeeping was much more friendly and had manners than any of the desk and bar staff. Too bad , hotel was comfortable and clean but will not come again

Room is just okay, but loved having a functional walk out balcony. Room could have been cleaner, and wish housekeeping had ACTUALLY changed the sheets because I stayed multiple nights. Best part was Giovanni(sp)! He's the young man at the front desk, he is absolutely amazing!

After confirming I booked/paid for a two bed room with a pool I was given the option to wait for my room or choose a room ready now but without the view. I told them I’d wait. An older Indian gentlemen’s came over and told me they don’t have anymore rooms with a pool view or rooms with 2 beds. Confused I told him I felt I should get what I paid for. Silence. The. He told me he had “upgraded” me. “For the kids though. If it was for you I would give you ZERO.” As he makes an O with his hand. I thanked him. Our room was not an upgrade and looked at a tree and the die of the building. My 9 yo made a comment that “that man was really mean. Why did he call you a loser?” Interrupte

The next morning, Marcela was kind and offered to refund the night, but said it had to go through Hotels.com. We were also moved to another room since the same group was staying again. When Hotels.com followed up, Trent denied the refund, saying we had been offered a room move—despite the fact that the move was only necessary because the noise issue continued. Resolving this took significant effort. While the property itself is lovely, the lack of effective security and poor handling of the situation mean we won’t stay here again.

There was excessive noise from the room above around 1 a.m., which made it difficult to sleep. The hallway noise from the neighboring room was also quite loud, and the sheets had visible stains, making the room appear unclean.

The hotel booked us the wrong room. I booked 2 queen beds and paid extra for parking and free wifi. I was given a room with 1 queen bed. I then had to argue with the staff about the reservation. They stated that booking through Expedia did not guarantee the room that you pay for. Once the issue was sorted out, I went to your room. Wifi was an addition amount for the night even though I had paid for it thru Expedia.

I have stayed at this property a few times, and this is the first time that I was not very happy with my room. The room was not properly cleaned in many areas, the shower was broken, and the floors were dirty. I did not eat at the restuarant this time, but I have in the past. Our initial room had a beautiful and quiet view. However, the room had toilet issues and tv connectivity problems. So we lost one night of a functioning room. We were moved to another room. It’s my fault for not protesting but the room was smaller, next to the elevator and view was of the air conditioning units. Next 3 nights was filled with kids running around and not being to open the sliding door for too long since the noise of the ac unit was loud and sun hit the balcony. That was my experience. Location is beautiful but unfortunately we drew the shortest straw on this trip.

Only complaint is front desk agent that checked us in for not explain that the room key opened and closed the parking lot gate. I couldn’t figure out how to open it and paid the $14 fee twice with a credit card at the gate only to find out I was also charged for the parking on my bill. When I checked out, the front desk did credit me for the error.

Giovonni was a superstar! He was so pleasant to work with. It was a busy time when I stayed -soccer team was there as well as another event so it was noisy and busy all night. Non stop yelling and running down the halls but hey you only get to live once. Whenever I’m back for business I stay here.

Unfortunately we learn at check in that the hotel overbooked. There was no 2 queens available and had to settle for a king bed with a rollaway bed. Our family of four was very crowded.

I have stayed here several times. This time, the service was poor. They checked us in, but used my card to pay for another person’s room, then said we weren’t checked in. We weren’t given enough towels. We were supposed to have a rollaway and that took several times to get it. Something went missing in my room and they gave me the run around and would not help me or let me talk with the managers. I will never return. Also, the key cards rarely work. They need to update their doors.

I was checked in and greeted right away by the front desk gentleman. He instantly recognized my gold status and offered me the late check out and moved me to the top floor. I inquired about the executive lounge and he explained that when you book through a third party the lounge is not included, but that I would have to pay $25 to utilize the lounge room. Since I was meeting family in a few minutes I decided to not take the opportunity to use the lounge at that time. I was very happy with my stay at this Marriott location and will stay here again when the opportunity arises.

1. They assigned a room to use right in front of the elevator. We had a lot of noise issue starting from 10pm onward and at that time, it was too late for us to move to a different room. The issue continued until about 2am, which made it really hard to have a good night sleep. Usually, they would ask us if we have a room location preference but this time, it was just assigned to us. 2. We booked at room for 3 people (a King bed plus a sofa bed). The sofa bed needed a blanket and linen (pillows were in the closet). We called asked for the linen and blanket but it took over 1.5 hours for them to deliver it, by which time we were already in bed. We usually have a very positive experience at Marriott and I am sure these are exceptions. I appreciate that hotel staff cannot control their guests behavior when leaving the elevator, but I wanted to let future guests know that this Marriott may not be as family-friendly as I thought and you should specifically ask for a quiet room at the end of a corridor if you are considering this hotel. Also, when you are booking, consider that their "sofabed" is not like a sofa that converts to a bed with a proper mattress. It's like sleeping on a sofa at a friend's house!

I had reserved my room a couple of months in advance. I flew from Florida to California which was a 7 hour flight. On my arrival to the hotel, they notified me that they were sold out and were not able to accommodate the two queen size beds room I had reserved for three adults. They could only offer a one queen size bed room and were expecting three adults to share it. They said they had a large wedding party that took up all the two queen bed rooms. I was very upset.

I have stayed here before & loved the decor, amenities & overall closeness to many good restaurants & bars nearby- this time there was a Quinceañera going on all night at the property- there were underaged kids running up & down the halls of my floor from 9pm-about 11:45pm- they were using a room across the hall from me as a party room, coming back and forth from the party multiple times, blasting music & spilling out onto the hall being super loud- I waited till after 10pm to call the front desk lobby as I could also see there was a woman across from me who kept coming out also with her small child who was probably trying to sleep- Front desk agent was so short with me & told me there was a party-kind of like just deal w/ it. I told him I was aware & understood, but there was a lot of commotion and underaged kids using the room to drink & be super loud, he said security would go up & check it out. Security showed up probably 20 min later- verbatim told them that he didn't care what they do, they just need to keep it down because fellow hotel guests are complaining- when the kids left back down to the party one of them flipped off the hotel guests doors - it was poorly managed in my opinion. The party should stay downstairs & if people come back to their room they should be mindful of other guests esp so late- & front desk staff should be more apologetic w/ the complaints & not like we were the ones hassling them. The noise finally died down around midnight- I got no sleep-

Not much to say. I’m not sure if it’s because we didn’t meet the profile of high end. It did feel like we got treated like whatever. We got the incorrect room, not much information when checking in. And when I went back down to advice them that I had gotten the incorrect room, she made an excuse about third party booking. Like it was my fault for booking with Expedia. I happen to love booking through Expedia and they’re amazing deals so that definitely rubbed me the wrong way. As much as it was “fancy”. I wouldn’t stay there due to their staff.

The property was clean. The service and guest accommodation was the worst ive ever experienced. I was wuth ny sick 8 yo at midnight cgecking in after a 2 hour druve, we were tired. My vank cars wasn't working and i couldn't get ahold of my bank fir tge incidental charge onky vecause i paid for room online already. The night audit wouldn't check me in abd told me if i didnt pay the incidental of 50 i would have to eat what i already paid fir tge room. I asked if i xan pay in the morning when my bank opened or something and she refused. She said theres nothing the hotel can do and i woukd gave to leave the hotel. I told her i woukd have to sleep in the xar with my sick child and she said, "im sorry but that us up yo you just dont do it on the hotel property " i was beyond flabbergasted. I had to call my boss an attorney and he had to pay my incidental so we dont sleep in the car. Ive never been treated like garbage until this incident at your hotel!!@@

The staff was behond rude and it was so many of them including management!! What a disappointment. Loved the restaurant and the kitchen staff! And the hotel itself is sooo loud with slaming of the doors all night and morning. I heard so many guests complain. The sadest part was that its the maids that slam the doors in the morning when they know they are so loud. I heard them say thats how we make sure people get out so we can vlean and get home. Property bezides the doors was beautiful and updated and the restaurant is very overpriced but thats to be expected and the food is delicious with the bar and waitstaff really fixing what the front desk, maids and management ruined with their rudeness. Sad because im a marriot member but i will never come back here again and so did some of the elite members. So many got no sleep at all. And the worst part is that the staff know about this problem but have done nothing to fix it and will take your $250 a night and apologize but witha eye roll. One star!

The Marriott underwent a great remodel and is now the place to stay in San Ramon with a great bar and restaurant (for breakfast and dinner - no lunch). We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again during our next trip to San Ramon.

Also, we had problems with our key cards to get into the parking lot and into our room and they had to remake our key cards.

Great breakfast! Housekeeping kept knocking on our door early at 9AM and 10AM, but we did extend our stay. King size bed was very comfortable and the size of the room was perfect for our stay and needs. Thank you! We will be back.

All are good but the only reason I gave over all 3 star rating is because of the vent and airflow in the room. No quality filter or airflow made us feel congestion and throat irritation. If you are out of the room or hotel, it is good but not the same in the room
