It was a great hotel to stay at prior to leaving from SNA. Clean rooms and friendly service. Restaurant on premises was supposed to be open and was not, so we had to Uber dinner. That was a bit of a bummer and why I took 1 star off for amenities. Other than that, it was a comfortable stay.

Staff was friendly and room was very clean

On Expedia, it shows that parking is included in the fee. I found out a week later they charged me $40 USD for parking and never mentioned that this charge would take place. The reason we booked with them in the first place on Expedia was because of the free parking. If you're booking, just know that they charge for parking.

Terrible customer service. I had a problem on a tax refund that should have been applied to my stay. I mentioned this to the staff when I checked in. After talking to the manager he said he would review this and reply via email. I have followed up and 10 days after, I am still waiting for a response.

One downfall was having to share a one microwave with the entire floor.

Location Beds were uncomfortable. Bathroom smelled of unpleasant chemicals. Hallways felt like a sauna. Staff took 10 minutes to come up front to check us in and failed to inform us about multiple elevators and entrances into the building. Walked very far carrying heavy luggage loads to discover we could have gone through a MUCH closer entrance. Pool towels are thin and the size of a hand towel. Expensive breakfast.

The room and customer service were excellent. Cleanness, furniture quality and bed’s firmness, all 100% positive. I don’t know why google rank them 3 star. They deserve better. It was a pleasant stay. I highly recommend them.

This was a great stop if you don’t need super luxury. It is close to the airport so the pool/hot tub area is quite loud but okay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The room was clean, and the place was in decent shape. I wasn’t too thrilled about the surroundings, but I guess that’s life in Southern California. They don’t give a complementary breakfast, but if you avoid the buffet and stick with one of the regular meals off the menu, it won’t cost you an arm leg. Not too many options for dying out with walking distance. Also, no shuttle to the airport, so I had to get an Uber. Overall, though, it was OK.

Everything was great. Clean rooms, big space to walk around and bathrooms were clean with everything we needed since we didn’t take our bathroom essentials. My husband always inspects the beds for bed bugs or cleanliness. No bed bugs in the queen beds we had. Overall such a great price for an awesome room. Thank you 🙏

Very clean rooms and majority off staff was very nice. Daily cleaning and towel replenishment was a plus. My only complaint was how humid our room was. The A/C did not appear to be working properly and we did report that to the front desk. We were told maintenance would check it but never heard back. We only had one more night left so I wasn't too worried about it but the humidity made for an awful time getting ready along with not so well ventilated showers/bathroom.

Staff was amazing, the room was huge, the beds super comfortable, plenty of parking, breakfast delicious and the pool was great, I would definitely stay here again when I come back to Disneyworld or an Angels game (10min drive).

The tv wasn’t working properly the entire stay. We requested someone to come and check it they did but it didn’t make a difference.

It's an older property. Could use updating. Room could use a deep cleaning. Finger prints seen on all dark surfaces. Drip marks running down back of bathroom door. Room doors slam shut very loudly. I was woken at 2 am by someone's door repeatedly slamming. The parking lot is tight and unorganized. I don't understand why they charge 10.00 to park there.

The hotel was very clean. We had some minor issues with the elevator button and the TV remote. Overall, it had been a pleasant experience.

Parking was $10 a night though, and it wasn't that easy to find a spot. I had to park in the back and it wasn't that easy to make my way back to the lobby from there. But overall, it's a very nice place and we'd stay here again.

Our room was not cleaned once during our 5 day stay. The staff was very unhelpful and if we requested towels or garbage bags (to change our own bins since nobody cleaned our room) we would have to call multiple times and wait up to an hour as they constantly had to be reminded we needed something simple.

Their parking lot is not shared by any other business and there's more than enough parking so the $10 charge per night was unwelcome. The rooms were nicely decorated and clean. My room did not get cleaned/restocked one of the days I was there and we didn't leave a do not disturb sign on the door so I had to call the front desk later that night to get some more towels

This hotel seems really new, well maintained, and has everything you need. The location was good for our needs, but our room faced the 55 freeway, which we heard all night long. That is my only complaint! Maybe because we live in the mountains, and all we hear at night is the wind blowing in the trees, and the occasional coyote! The staff were all very nice, the dinner we ordered from the restaurant was surprisingly good. Parking was close to the hotel and I appreciate the free parking! Excellent value for the price.

according to the staff (inquired day of check in, and asked several house keeping staff) the location was recently renovated. That very well could have been possible but NOT the carpeting throughout the hall ways and rooms, I was in room 379. From the second we walked into the room there was a foul order of moist dirty air. Carpeting felt wet and sticky like huge spills were present and never cleaned. Arrived late in the day and checked out at 5 am the next day or a flight. I kindly asked the staff and was advised all the carpeting in the rooms were the same. The bathroom door was crooked and the shower faucet shaking, the room did looked remodeled, possibly years prior. If your party includes sick, kids or elderly in your party, have an auto immune disease, don't BOOK! Hotel may suffice for an over night stay.

Bathroom door would not close all the way, shower door slides open, toilet lid does not stay up for men using. Jacuzzi was not working and the hotel ice machines broken down for one day. Pool and Jacuzzi were very clean, pool towels quite small.

The room was spacious and located in a nice neighborhood close to the highway, with a great breakfast. However I booked a Queen room, but the bed felt noticeably smaller, closer to a Double/Full size, which the front desk denied despite my concerns. Additionally, the AC unit was very loud, and the towels are quite rough and uncomfortable to use.

No breakfast costs extra. Deposit did not return to my account for 30 days. Never happened to me like that before. For that i don't think I'd stay again. I don't know. Being it is only 50 dollars is a plus but I'd rather pay a higher deposit and receive it back faster than pay a lower deposit and wait 30 days

The rooms were a good size m, had a built in vanity (which my daughter loved), and very clean. There was enough parking and I believe my parking fees were waived. Very nice stay. Will definitely stay here again.

Facilities are quite dated but staff was friendly and the room was acceptably clean. Had an issue with the price in which I was originally going to be charged far more than Hotels.com quoted, but I showed reception staff the email receipt and they quickly resolved the pricing error. I would be willing to stay here again if traveling to this area in the future.

Nice place to stay, the staff is great, and the hotel is in a good area.

That said, I’m pretty sure they renovated everything except the insulation. You can hear everything. People upstairs walking around sounded like they were rehearsing for Stomp. People in the hallway might as well have been in the room with me. The walls are so thin you start learning way too much about strangers’ sleep schedules. The pool was decent, and overall the stay was good. But the room had a slight mildewy smell, like the kind that makes you wonder if the air conditioner has seen some things. And I have to mention this because it caught me off guard: no free coffee after 9 AM. That feels less like hospitality and more like a personal challenge. Nothing says “good morning” like being cut off from caffeine before the day even gets going. Overall, it was a solid stay for the price, especially if you need a place near Angel Stadium and don’t mind a little unplanned audio entertainment from the rest of the hotel. Friendly staff, fair price, decent pool, updated look. Just bring earplugs, lower your expectations for late morning coffee, and maybe a candle.

Very nice staff and easy to work with. Breakfast was great every morning. There was some mold on the ceiling in our bathroom which didn’t have an exhaust fan which I found a little odd. It was pretty minimal so I’d stay here again.

Noisy teens in nearby rooms. Motorcycle traffic on hiway late at night more than in the past. JW Air traffic ends at curfew. Otherwise friendly staff and very clean room. Convenient location to get to beaches & into town.

More or less great place to stay except the front desk staff are way too busy to acknowledge or talk to you, all the time. And no water bottles in the rooms. I can’t imagine why not. Everything else was pretty good including the breakfast and room service. They could use some newer towels since the ones in circulation while clean, are a bit worse for wear.

Located next to the freeway. Will definitely hear the noise.

I really appreciated the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Even though I didn't get a chance to try any of the amenities, I was glad to see it had a restaurant, a bar, and a convenient mini store.

Overall, it was an excellent stay. Staying extremely close to Disneyland is overrated, this hotel is just a 15-minute trip to the parks and offers great value compared to others in the area. The only thing I didn’t like is that the restaurant closes at 9:30 a.m., which feels very early.

However, the room was very clean.

We had a very pleasant stay. Most of the front of house staff were lovely ( with the exception of 1 or 2 ) Very comfortable beds. It would have been helpful if the cleaning staff could have spoken English. With the exception of one lovely lady, nobody could communicate with us in English at all, I mean at all. It was very frustrating when we were trying to say that we needed fresh cups or towels etc.or when to come back to clean. The communication from the hotel when we had an issue with our deposit after we had left was also very poor

The amenity of the jacuzzi was subpar. The jacuzzi was on and warm, but dirt collected in bottom with no filtration. There seemed like dry dirty towels left on a chair next to jacuzzi, made it uncomfortable to relax, was also subpar. Disappointing.

Staff support is poor. My wife had to leave our baby in the room while he slept unattended because the front desk refused to bring any water up to our room for his feed, while I was away. Front desk lady was extremely rude. Hallways smell like cigarettes, rooms have a stench and just overall not a place for a family. Would not recommend.

staff is nice in communication but the room carpet kinda old and smell bad the outside of the hotel is not really safe I saw a-lot of homeless walking or selling something outside in front of the hotel

Could have been better. Room was a bit damp, found out there was a towel in one of the drawers along with ketchup packs left by a previous guest. Who knows how long that was left there but I asked a women at the front desk the next morning to please get it taken care of. Didn’t get done! Absolutely no excuse nor an apology given.

The hotel is pretty basic. There was no ventilator/fan in the bathroom for exhaust air. The iron was not functioning. There was not even complementary water provided and no breakfast. So, a no-frills hotel. I wouldn’t recommend for a family.

We weren’t able to check in due to the unforeseen weather conditions that made it impossible for us to get there. As well as the Special Olympics were cancelled due to weather as well. And we did not get any refund

There are plenty of things to do in the area. It rained and we had to do indoor activities one day. Within 10 min, there was a movie theatre, go karting/racing, painting/axe throwing. Stores and restaurants are plentiful in the area. I would definitely stay again. Yes, I recommend it; especially if you have a family.

Our experience was what you’d expect from an older Holiday Inn. The only real downside was how loud it was. Doors in the hallway began opening and slamming quite early in the morning. That combined with loud conversations from the staff made it difficult

Everything! Hotel is so clean, so comfortable, even though they said there’s construction nearby I don’t hear anything. Quiet and peaceful. Staff very nice and pleasant. I decided to stay an extra night in same room and they accommodated me. I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you all! And you bet I will stay here again.

They told me that the service was recently dropped. Because I booked through a third party, I was not given the free water. Silly!

Everything was excellent except one of the elevators was broken and you had to take the stairs to go up or down. Was down for more than one day.

The property could do something about the doors bing closes… makes loud slamming noises. My neighbors were in and out all night after 11pm. I had to be at a meeting in the early morning but I couldn’t sleep well due to noise.

That being said, this is probably an isolated issue to a singular room, so I wouldn’t deter anyone from staying at this otherwise good hotel.

My husband I stayed one night. In the morning, the diner was closed for menu breakfast and only the 4 item buffet was available for $18/person (we went elsewhere). They had a conference there so all their resources went towards the conference (kitchen crew) so they also weren't open for lunch. Our room was right by an exit door so when the conference attendees had a break, they congregated outside our room and were incredibly loud (I took a video they were so loud). I wouldn't stay here again.

Hotel was fine. The staff was nice. No breakfast and you have to pay for parking. There’s really nowhere to eat close by except for Del taco and the area is not the greatest & one other bar pub type restaurant. The elevator was broken by the front lobby, which was inconvenient.

The staff member in question was unprofessional and discourteous, creating an unpleasant atmosphere instead of the welcoming environment we expected. Their behavior made what should have been a simple, enjoyable breakfast into a stressful experience. This does not reflect the quality of service that we associate with the Holiday Inn brand. We chose your hotel because of Holiday Inn’s reputation for hospitality and comfort, and we were truly surprised and disappointed by this incident. I hope that this matter will be addressed promptly so future guests do not encounter the same treatment

I stayed for a couple of nights and the property appears well kept and my room was clean. The only thing that didn't work for me is the mini fridge that smelled funky, so I didn't end up using it. The place was generally quiet and I was able to enjoy some "me time" for the weekend. Parking in the back was easy access. Will stay again!

Left the room to pick up a few things, came back and wanted to vomit from the stench. Will not willingly go back there again.

Our stay was okay. We were not infomed way ahead of time that the hotel will shut down the water for a hour. I got a text about 30 minutes before the water shutdown via text. The coffee maker in our room was not working properly.

The check-in took little longer than I had anticipated, but both the owner/manager and employee at the front desk were courteous and kind. The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean, and the A/C was working fine. However, the view out the window wasn't the best. Overall, the noise was minimal, occasionally from the hallway, because the room was located far away from the pool. I had the "Do not disturb" sign on the door, and thus, the cleaning lady/gent came back later to clean the room. The breakfast was nothing fancy and pretty limited. Bottom Line: I would stay here, again for a short trip.

The room has a weird stain on the carpet, it kind of looked like blood. The hallway carpets we also not very clean. But the rest of the room was fine.

The property is easily accessed. The main lobby elevator was out of service. Although the hotel appeared to be clean, it had an odor of Indian food, which is difficult to cover up.

The general manager was extremely helpful and cordial. It was a last minute booking and unexpected stay. I was so thankful for such a pleasant experience.

It's a mixed bag. Employee at checkin neglected to tell us the nearest entrance to our room. Thought we had to go through main entrance and navigate multiple hallways. Turned out to be an entrance near our room we could have parked by, saving us several minutes. Thankfully other staff were more helpful throughout our stay. The quality of the room was not 3 stars - it was 2 - 2 1/2. Cheap furnishings, cheap thin towels, stain on chair, old AC that was super loud. Positives were the beds were fairly comfortable, the water pressure was great, and it's close to multiple freeways.

It is interesting all the “exceptional” reviews on this hotel. There is nothing exceptional about this place from the moment u pull into tge parking lot and every touchpoint following that. Adequate is the proper term.

S Grand was under construction and just too much traffic during our trip. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Front desk was efficient and friendly.

Convince was adjustable for early morning arrival.

The room's sound proofing was not the best. I could hear the street traffic even when the windows were closed, and I could hear people walking by in the hall. Further, the TV was not functional/useable.

Despite the construction, I really liked the location of the hotel & easy parking. The staff were friendly & very helpful, all of them, Hope & Marilou were especially helpful when I extended my stay. I would come back & recommend!

Facility was great. Staff were kind and helpful, parking was affordable.

We got in late evening due to a longer than planned drive, however, the pool was opened later and staff was accommodating in providing pool towels in a timely fashion.

Unsafe location, loud and room smell of weed smoke. Absolutely terrible experience. I did not get sleep the air conditioner was broken and loud and felt unsafe.

Free breakfast was not included. The only negative.

I only have one complaint: I had a room 3 floors above the pool and the pool was extremely loud until 10 pm when they finally closed it.

Location was convenient. Although we were on the third floor, there were several families with children who came in after 8 p.m. and sometimes 12 p.m. who were very noisy as the kids ran down the hall yelling and the parents responding. People were hanging out in the parking lot at 3 a.m. and they were loud. I'm not sure what hours security works.

Although clean, our room did not smell pleasant every time we walked in.

I loved our stay. It was my 39th birthday we were celebrating and when we arrived we were taken care of with the concierge. We got our room and it was just updated. It was so nice and the pool and jacuzzi were clean and well kept. There was plenty of parking and different entrances with key card only entry. I felt safe and the bedroom was clean and not humid at all inside. I have had plenty of experiences where the hotel itself and the bedroom were humid. This place was just perfect. They had breakfast that was delicious and fresh coffee. We had an issue with our tv and the guy came quickly and fixed it. We needed a crib for my child and they brought it up and had placed xtra linens for her and a towel. The bathroom had awesome lighting. They staff were very friendly and helpful and it was overall just the perfect experience. Thank you ! And we will be back again!!

We stayed one night after our cruise and left early for the airport. The connecting rooms were nice, close to restaurants and convenience stores. The front desk staff wasn't the friendliest and our 2nd room wasn't available until 5pm, plus had to pay for parking.

Rooms were great, spacious, and clean. The small freezer within the refrigerator was actually decent compared to others that have been offered at other hotels. Staff were all super friendly and accommodating.
