Reviews
The hotel is generally viewed as a low-cost option for short stays, particularly for those needing proximity to the airport. However, it is frequently criticized for its outdated facilities, lack of cleanliness, and noisy environment due to its location near the airport.

The motel it’s very old, they’re not being taking care of the rooms and even the door doesn’t work properly. The toilet seat was broken, the sink clogged.

Roynia was the receptionist the night I arrived. She advised that the key card system was down. She had to go and open the door so I could get into the room. Once in my room, I could tell the room had not been used in awhile. I advise Roynia that I needed another room. I also left something in the old room. She did not hesitate to retrieve the item left in the room because I could get access. Then she had to go and open the door for the new room. I apologized about the whole situation and she advised that it was alright. I told her I was not trying to make her work this hard at 2 am. I wanted to show her my appreciation for her hard work. Thank you Roynia! The first room had a order like it was not used in awhile. The key card system was down. Roynia had to open the door to the room. Once I reached the room, I was worried about someone getting into the room. The key card system was down. Then around 12pm the police beat down my door looking for a cellphone. They said it was showing in the second room. I advised them that I just arrived and just got in the room.

Clean, cheap, and near the airport. But it wouldn’t have cost much to have a shampoo and conditioner dispenser in the bathroom, or to supply a plastic cup or two.
- 3/5
Unfortunately, my experience with the staff during the later shifts was quite different. The front desk employee working overnight came across as abrupt and unapproachable, and interactions felt unnecessarily tense. Similarly, my experience with the morning staff was disappointing. While I fully acknowledge my responsibility for oversleeping and checking out approximately an hour late, the manner in which the situation was addressed felt unprofessional. The use of inappropriate language and the overall tone of the interaction were unnecessary and detracted from the guest experience. As for the property itself, the room was clean and parking was convenient and hassle-free. However, there was a noticeable lingering odor in the room that impacted overall comfort. I would like to extend special recognition to the employee who checked me in. Her professionalism and hospitality stood out and reflected the level of customer service I would have hoped to experience throughout my stay. I only wish the same standard had been maintained by the other staff members I encountered.

Had two bookings but had to recheck for second stay. There should be no need for that - or better systems/processes are needed. We were advised that TVs aren't working! No discount or refund offered.

dangerous neighborhood, typical for chicago
- 2.5/5
The staff were exceptional. The building looks like it hasn't been painted since it was built back in the 1960s. The grounds were in need of quite a bit of TLC. The beds had no headboards, but the mattresses were comfortable and linens clean. Room, despite being designated non-smoking, had a tint of nicotine in the air. The packages of soap were tiny and no shampoo was nowhere in sight. My room sounded like the jet-age version of the WWII film classic, Twelve O'clock High, the roar engines flying directly over my room was a feature that kept me from falling into the REM sleep I needed.
- 3/5
The reservation was present, thanks to Booking.com. Shower and toilet worked. We were lucky to have a room at all since many flights were cancelled due to thunderstorms. Reached through taxi and returned to the airport via Uber without problems and close by and quickly. The floor was still wet. The television did not work. The drinks machine had limited drinks. The airport approach noise was clearly audible. There was no bath gel or conditioner, only a few small bars of soap.
- 1/5
Do not stay there crazy that they charge so much for a run down property. Dirty unsafe door didn’t lock properly, room smelled like weed smoking, shady people around property looked like a horror movie. Pay the extra $100 and stay somewhere else.
- 1/5
Bad service and many homeless people

I can’t sleep due to airplane landing sound and dirty bed and smell. Noise and dirty

The front desk agents were so kind and helpful When I walked into the room there were roaches, turned on the light in the bathroom and there were more roaches. The room was grubby., surfaces not clean. The TV was broken. The wall by the shower was water damaged and moldy.
- 1.5/5
Price was decent The floor was so dirty, I had to wash my feet before getting in the bed, I could feel it on my feet walking around. There was urine drips all over the bathtub ledge and the pillow smelled bad.
- 2/5
The room was okay, nothing wow. A lot of parking options.

The property was poorly maintained. Looks rundown nothing like what was advertised. The room had a smell that didn’t go away. Didn’t know they allow pets. Constantly hearing the plants flying over the property seems like every 5 minutes. Not worth trying to save couple of dollars cause the price were similar elsewhere. The only good thing was they were helpful & understanding when I asked to cancel my stay & gave me a refund for the rest of my stay.

Positives- AC worked well, the room was clean. I enjoyed being able to park on site. There was lots of space to put bags on as I don't like putting bags on the floor. The front desk was 24 hours, which was MUCH appreciated. However, I do have some things that could be upgraded. First off, why wasn't there a microwave in the room? I paid extra for a fridge and my food just sat there the whole weekend. I wanted a fridge so I could cook some leftovers in the microwave... but yeah, there goes that idea. My door didn't latch unless you slammed it. I always kept the safety measures in place because I was worried it wasn't latched. That's a HUGE safety concern. The TV wasn't connected to the internet so it did nothing. It was the middle of the night so I didn't bother trying to get them to help. During the day, I was much too busy to go. My biggest concern is the early check in. We called and were told as long as rooms were available, we could check in at 11. So we showed up at 11:30 and were told there were no rooms. We were going to a music festival so we got ready in the car and changed clothes in the Denny's bathroom. But my biggest concern is that I paid extra for this.... and she said "I wouldn't be charged for this." I was. So how do I get the money back?? Overall, I have stayed at many Motel 6's over the years and this was one of the worst ones.

Hotel could be updated

It was OK for the price that you pay. I was a little bothered by the fact, there was no comforter on the bed, but that’s just my preference. The rooms are small, but it does the job. The only thing that I would say is that the airplanes drove me insane. So if you a hard sleeper, then you’ll be OK.

Habia mucho ruido con los aviones parecía que iban aterrizar en el techo. No se encontraba los swiches para prender la luz, tenía que enchufar la lámpara para que todo prendiera. Sin embargo esta limpio y tuvo una buena atención cuando llegamos.

- 5/5
HIGHLY RECOMENDED. GOOD LOCATION AND GOOD FOR THE PRICE
- 3/5
It has the location going for it being close to the airport and places to eat. It is not new or flashy and I sure wish it had a mini-fridge. It is a simple, low-cost (for Chicago) place but it has convenient parking and easy to get in and out of.
- 1/5
The staff were very unhelpful. Our reservation was not properly done, they gave us the wrong room, and then threw our stuff out when they thought our reservation had ended. Whole time, they mixed up our reservation. I would not recommend, you definitely get what you pay for.
- 5/5
Muy bien
- 4/5
This was a very well kept Motel 6 and it was next to a Dennys .Very clean room.
- 4/5
Cheap clan place to stay. Easy access to airport
- 3/5
There is no working televisions in the whole motel.
- 2/5
This hotel is right under the flight path of the airport so expect flight noise every 3-5 minutes until midnight. The room was clean but towels had visible stains. Neither bedside lights or sockets worked. The only socket near the bed was up on the wall by the wall lamp, about 5 feet up. There was a sign in the lobby saying none of the TVs were working. The wall AC/fan/heater only turned off if you unplugged it from the wall. The slots on it were broken and partly missing and the timer on it didn't work. The whole room smelled strongly of mold. Lots of space for parking. You definitely get what you pay for here.
- 2/5
Dirty room that smelled like mold and cigarettes. Bathroom was dirty when I checked in. Lock on the door wasn’t functional, the only thing that kept my door closed all night was the deadbolt. All I could hear all night was other guests screaming and fighting and I was genuinely concerned for my safety to leave the room.

Great location but def in need of some care (paint, etc). Room and sheets were clean, but the place could definitely use some TLC. You get what you pay for, so as long as you arent looking for 5star accommodations, and not picky about stained walls and chipped paint, its serviceable. Staff was nice. Very near the airport so plane noise can be a problem if you cant handle that. Didnt bother me but it could be a problem if you have kids or babies or are a light sleeper.

Very kind receptionist, room was clean and good security. Would stay again!
- 1/5
It was a terrible experience. The lady at the front desk asked me if I was traveling alone, I said yes. She gave me the last room at the end of the longest hallway. When I got there, the bed was awful—honestly, I think even dumpsters have better mattresses. It was deformed, super old, and just uncomfortable. The room seemed acceptably clean, but the amenities? Two tiny little soaps and that’s it. So yeah, it was a really poor experience.

- 1/5
for some reason they didnt have working TVS. I didnt notice when checking in to room but when came back to relax in the room after my plans the tv didnt even work in the outlet and then their wifi was off. so had to sit in the room on my phone and not be able to watch tv. and when called the front desk they said youre only here one night. and maintence isnt on property tonight so nothing I can do
- 4/5
Parking was great, staff was amazing. Wifi was terrible, but who travels for wifi right?
- 2/5
My TV didn’t work & my room had a bad smell
- 3/5
Super basic. The room smelled a bit funky but the bed was comfortable and the staff was nice but WAY worth spending an extra few bucks for a place down the road with more amenities. (I'm sorry!)
- 3/5
Yes
- 5/5
Good place! Convenient for the price.
- 3/5
Its what you'd expect for being so close to the airport.
- 2/5
Parking was almost non existent. It looked as though every room had 2 vehicles on the first night, 2nd night was better. Room was dirty, bed had been used, rotted food in the trash can! I had 3 rooms reserved and they canceled two of them. Then they were scrambling to find two additional rooms. Staff was rude and charged $200 additional.
- 1/5
Stay away. Airplanes are a constants flying over and beds were awful. I am allergic to cats and had a sore throat until we left. No tv the whole visit. Front desk guy dint give me a parking pass when I checked in. I would’ve been towed if I had not seen it on others cars. This was just a cash grab for the owners. I guess decently clean. Room bathroom reeked of smoke.
- 5/5
Clean room and a good visit overall. Will def
- 2/5
The room was dirty and the tub had spots all over it. The TV did not work, nor was the satellite working. Not a great area at all, as the motel is run down. I had to check out a day early and it was not an easy process to get anything refunded (I paid for trip insurance as well). Pay $50-75 more and stay elsewhere nearby.
- 4/5
I came in late and it was easy to check in. The vibes were weird but I didn’t face any issues.
- 3/5
Ive stayed here 2 nights in a row and both nights the tvs aren't working. Im paying 70 dollars just to go sit in the room and look at the walls. I mentioned it to the clerk and she says its motel wide issue which is insane. You would think they would lower the prices considering the dont have working tvs or wifi .
- 3/5
Staff was amazing. Looked like they were in the process of updating and remodeling. Looked nice. Several issues with the room though. Shower head was leaking and wouldn't stay upright, toilet would run and we would have to fix it, the tv didn't work, and the air conditioner made a loud rattle when the heat was running.
- 1/5
On a positive the 2 clerks I met were very accommodating, and polite. A 7 out of 10 rating is so very, very misleading! Should be a 1. Would never stay again, would rather sleep in a chair at O'Hare.
- 1/5
Absolutely rude , arrogant and way over priced for a motel 6
- 5/5
Yes to all
- 4/5
No breakfast, but there is a Dennys in the same lot as the hotel. Planes flying into O'Hare go right overhead.... and I mean RIGHT overhead 😳😳😳 But they don't start until after about 8am, and they stop about 10pm, so they really didn't bother my sleep.... But they fly right over the roof line.
- 3/5
It was OK as a gap filler -- room was clean and bed was good. Flight was cancelled and needed a place to stay close to Ohare for early morning flight next day. Walls are thin and could hear neighbors who for some reason were up all night up to the time I had to leave for 6 am flight. Also under a flight approach so planes litterally going overhead. I slept with earplugs.
- 2/5

- 1/5

- 2/5
Old and dirty rooms, very loud area as well as guest staying at the property.
- 5/5
Good stay
- 4/5
Front desk persons werent as friendly as they should.
- 1/5
Property looks awful from outside, room looked clean but the floors were sticky and the room smelled terrible, we were so “lucky” that we got loud people in both sides of the room.
- 1/5
“THE ENTIRE INTERIOR IS OUTDATED, TOILET OVERFLOWED & WATER RAN FOR 10 MINUTES STRAIGHT WHICH FLOODED THE ROOM, NO ICE MACHINE, DIRTY EXTRA SMALL MICROWAVE OVEN FOR ENTIRE MOTEL USE, and ROOMS NOT SERVICED”‼️‼️📣 “AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS”‼️‼️ 📣 🤬
- 2/5
The room was clean, the staff was kind, but planes were flying overhead every few minutes. Also there were a lot of Shady characters around the hotel. So we didnt even stay the night.
- 4/5
Okay

Tv did not work
- 5/5
I will recommend to anyone looking for places
- 4/5
Yes the front desk lady was very nice.room was clean 👌
- 3/5
More attention is required
- 3/5
it’s not bad if you’re staying for a day but the room that my friends and i had smelled like weed.
- 1/5
The room was very dirty, like dirt on the wall dirty and mud on the floor. Things that should have easily been addressed. The hotel was so noisy, and we could not contact staff to get the noise dealt with.
- 5/5
Great. As usual. Thanks.
- 2/5
Too close to airport - you actually hear every plane overhead as they land - the hotel is in the flight path. Run down, old, won't stay again.
- 2/5
It looks cheap and dirty, no carpet and some room really stink. I hate leaving bad reviews, but it really doesn't match any standards and reviews that you can see online. There is a parking, people who work there are ok, but the rooms are really poorly made, dirty and some of them stink horrobly. One night stay maybe for one male person. Longer than that I wouldn't recommend.
- 4/5
It's was good
- 1/5
The bedding was also unacceptable, the sheets had visible stains, and the towels were yellowed and stained, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness. One of the drawers in the room was missing its bottom entirely, making it unusable, and the TV did not work at all. From other reviews, it looks like the TV has not worked for a couple months even though staff say they are in the middle of switching providers. Overall, the room appeared poorly maintained and inadequately cleaned. This stay did not meet even basic standards of cleanliness or upkeep, and I would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made.
- 1/5
The key to my room wouldn’t work, had to leave the door open whenever I stepped out because the staff said the batteries needed to be changed on the lock, waited until the morning of next day and the maintenance guy made excuses to not fix the lock and told me to take it up with the front desk, he also told me to go f**k myself and stepped away quickly like a coward. Front desk staff on the 2nd day was rude, kept gaslighting me and telling me the maintenance guy didn’t say those words. Wasn’t helpful at all, kept telling me to just leave my door open if I needed to step out, finally they offered to switch rooms and even then said that it’s not guaranteed that outlets and the tv would work in the new room. Overall it was the worst motel experience, I left a complaint with the corporate line but not sure if the maintenance guy is going to be disciplined, first time when I spent money and the staff told me to go f**k myself.
- 1/5
We were moved to a different room because of the door problem, but the second room had the exact same issue with the lock. Between the malfunctioning doors and having no working TV—which is something I expected based on the listing—this stay was extremely frustrating. Overall, I feel the hotel should have been transparent about these problems before accepting reservations, especially through online booking. I can’t recommend staying here until these issues are fully resolved.
- 4/5
no good clean
- 1/5
Roaches. They refunded me $8. Room was not deluxe. DO NOT STAY HERE. Manager at front desk has nasty attitude.
- 3/5
Room was okay. Had a bad smell in it.

- 4/5
Nice staff.
- 2/5
Front staff didn’t return Id and refused to mailed it back
- 2/5
The volume on the TV did not work and when I went to the desk about it I was told “well all of our tvs have been that way for nearly 2 weeks and we are not offering any discounts.” I didn’t want a discount I wanted a working TV. I went straight from the airport and stayed for 6 days and not one time did housekeeping ever come to my room. When I asked for towels on Wednesday (day3) I was told they had to be requested on the mornings which I had asked 3 times between 7 and 1pm, I finally got towels at 6pm and trash bags after asking so I could empty my own trash.
- 5/5

I like the secure door but no fridge and microwave in room and the sink did not work plus shower flooded bathroom. Nice l ocstion a n d next to denys by bus across street from shell close to chicago cta blue l ine by ohare. The staff seemed reluctant to give me towels.

- 2/5
It was ok, the only thing is none of the tvs worked during our stay and the staff didn’t know when the issue would’ve been resolved. It wasn’t working the next day before we left either. They stay was supposed to be relaxing but we had to watch movies on our phones .
- 2/5
I checked in was asked for my ID... Then I was asked how was I paying cash or card... I said card.... I paid and went to my room.. This is Christmas Eve mind you, so I wanted to make it to the store before they close...I went to Walmart and came back attempting to relax and turn on the TV...but the TV wasn't working...I called the front desk... Lady at front desk said it was a sign down there saying TV is not working on the property.. I told her I didn't see a sign... When I got to the window I was asked for my ID... They could have informed me verbally... what was going on or pointed me to read the sign... I told her (front desk) that the T.V is part of the amenities and that was unacceptable...She told me I had to see the manager...I told her that I wanted some type of compensation... after all this is Christmas Eve going into Christmas Day.... and that I like the news as well as sports and quite a few games will be on Christmas day....She said the manager won't be in until the morning and that's who I have to see... In the morning when the manager came she said there was no refunds or discounts and that I should have read the sign... I told her after the two people that she waited on in front of me finished and I step forward she should have informed me and not just ask for my ID and how I was paying... It went back and forth.... I decided and made up my mind that I'm going to contact corporate to get this resolved... I think it was deceiving and unacceptable

Parking is not very secure. Open to the street. Noisy due to traffic and airport, but the place can't help that. The hotel is dated and sparse but beds are comfortable. Staff is nice.
- 1/5
Parking lot reeks of weed. Water damage on the property. Mold in the bathroom. Television disconnected, non functional. Furniture in need of repair, peeling laminate. Inattentive, uncaring front office staff.
- 1/5
The first room we stayed in had a hole punched through the bathroom door and then the second room we got moved to was somehow significantly smaller, one bed was pushed up against the wall AC, and the beds overall were so close we couldn't walk between them. Staff overall was rude

No shampoo available. No coathangers. Does this place have permanent residents subsidized by the government? You can hear the trash residents through the thin walls. Heat worked well, cable TV limited to 5 channels. Parking lot was full of ice, dangerous to walk on.

- 3/5
Plenty of parking, AC/ Heater needs the filter cleaned out, to much dust coming in.
- 3/5
Yes, plenty of parking. A.C/Heater was “okay” I’m pretty sure it needs the filter cleaned out. It blew some dust around my stuff. The A.C had the vents broken out so it was a hole on it that you can see the fan spin.
- 1/5
Lots of dust.
- 5/5
Always clean service always great
- 2/5
The television had only one volume level LOUD. You are provided a remote control that only controls the changing of channels. You have to deal with the loud volume and have to walk to the TV to turn it on and off. The property could’ve been better maintained. The Heating AC unit control panel was not functioning properly. It’s true you get what you pay for. This place is perfect for when you go on a bender and can’t drive home. 2 stars is about right it gave me the bare minimum for needing a place to rest my head. I’m glad I didn’t have to pass any time in the room other than showering and sleeping.

Everything clean and well organized
- 4/5
Ok
- 2/5
noisy, stuffy room
- 3/5
The room was okay and serviceable but some things were very worn and it was a bit sad. Seemed fine for people that need a low price point or are barely going to be in the room. Staff were really nice but the hotel room needs more love and maintenance.
- 4/5
No tv

Everything was good just no smoking rooms available

The room was fine, no complaints.

Motel 6 doesn't hold luggage: when I came back at 3pm I was told that room 103 was ready. When I got to the room it was already open. The room was not cleaned out, left over McDonald's in the trash, bed was not made. I requested to get another room. When I got into room 102, the bathroom had no shampoo or conditioner, the AC/ heat wasn't working half the time. When I checked in the staff was distracted by a car accident that happened across the street. When I checked out one of the staff members and the security guard were so loud I could hear them next to my room at 3:30am in the morning. If I could get my money back I would. If you're not staying for more than one or two days spend the money elsewhere.
- 3/5
The TV did not function it only had three channels and I could not change my room.
- 1/5
As walking into the room there was a fall smell of cat urine.. The plumbing and the toilet was backed up.. And when you turn on the sink , sprayed water all over the floor.. After complaining to the management, it took her a day to move me to another room.So had to stay in the unbearable room. Then she said we were banned , because we made a complaint to corporate.
- 3/5
nice clean bare nessasity place to spend night inexpensively. close to convention centers.
- 4/5
Parking is safe. Air conditioning is adequate.
- 4/5
Good place to rest
- 3/5
Room was clean, friendly staff, air conditioning was nice, parking was easy.
- 3/5
The room was clean but it smelled deeply of cigarettes, and the curtains were sort of falling apart. I just needed to stay while I was waiting for my layover at O'Hare but if you're wanting to... stay there... I wouldn't. Only a Dennys and a gas station nearby. It was ok for the money but I would have rather slept in a sleeping pod in an airport.
- 1/5
Terrible odor in the room no working television and didnt offer to rectify the problem . We stayed cause it was late and were tired
- 2/5
When you're booking it has pictures of microwaves and refrigerators in the room. None of the room has that. And most of the TVs do not work and you're not able to switch rooms if your TV does not work they don't care
- 2/5
So much hair in the drain it was pretty gross. Also a strange brown substance on the floor under the bed.
- 3/5
For the most part I don't have a problem staying here the airplanes however are very loud we are very close to the airport
- 1/5
TV didn’t work for over 4 days and still don’t work. You pay for what you get I do not recommend this place at all.
- 5/5
...
- 1/5
Check in staff was almost an hour late; they agreed for me to get late check out but when I arrive they packed all my staff, wouldn't let me back in the room to shower after running 26 miles in the city; rude, disrespectful. would not recommend
- 3/5
The stay was affordable, and I really appreciated the friendly staff. The room was decent, though the property was a bit messy and there was quite a bit of noise outside during the night. The airplane noise wasn’t too bad, and overall, it served its purpose for being close to the airport.
- 5/5
Great parking excellent location
- 1/5
Very expensive
- 1/5
Staff rude, room smells bad, not clean, shower tube 😑 dirty 😤...
- 2/5
Las camas duy duras y viejas Yo sentí como q había chinches xq tenía mucha comezón

Television didn't work in any rooms. They were all down. Toliet seat had chips in the wood. Mold in the shower. Something was smushed on the walls. 2 out of 3 lamps didnt work. Just very disappontied stay.
- 5/5
Little bit issue with cleaning beside that everything was perfect
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 2/5
Dirty w construction
- 1/5
Rooms had an odor. When you get in, it smells like ass or somebody, god forbid, has recently died inside. Not the safest place I have stayed. I see marks of someone trying to break into my vehicle. Shady, trash, ghetto people walking around at night, and n-word yelling at each other at times when you feel like sleeping. Excessive airplane noise, since the motel is located very close to the ORD runway. No room service has ever knocked on the door to get the clean towels or toilet paper. Waste your money somewhere else. Skip this place.
- 4/5
Adecuado por el precio
- 3/5
Room had damages door would stick and no cable the first night because maintenance was gone at five pm!
- 2/5
Pretty gross surroundings outside. It appears homeless are trying to stay there
- 1/5
TV never worked had to walk quite a distance to use microwave in laundry room housekeeping was difficult
- 4/5
The bed wasn't the softest to lay on and it was a very noisy place to stay. Not so much because of tenants, but there was certain times.
- 1/5
My key card stopped working on second day.So I went down, and it did not work, so, went back again, and the genius at the desk actually says, “I said 321, not 221.” Lady, are you high? There isn’t even a damn third floor in this dump for a “321” to exist. I wanted to ask if she’s brain-dead, cross-eyed, or just plain useless, but I’d just had surgery and didn’t have the energy to argue with a walking headache. Bottom line: that lady shouldn’t be anywhere near a front desk. She’s the last person who should be representing any kind of hotel/motel.
- 4/5
Good customer service and the hotel did clean up the room when I Requested..
- 1/5
No clean bathroom, dirty towels, unkind manager
- 1/5
Do not stay here . The whole room smelled like urine. Within 5 min of arriving the police arrived for another customer. The room looked horrible.
- 1/5
Terrible experience. No tv period. Dirty air conditioning vents. Dirty floor, sheets, shower, toilet, table. You get what you pay for. I wouldn't even take a hooker there.

Clean room
- 4/5
It's relatively cheap. It's close to the train station. And near restaurants bars and brewery
- 4/5
For the most part it was okay
- 3/5
It's right next to a lovely Dennys though and not too far away from the shuttle, there is a Shell across the street that costs wayyy too much. But was still helpful despite the cost. It is worth it if you're not expecting a lot. Overall satisfied with my visit.
- 1/5
I hate motel 6 they have nothing were you can put food and drinks in.
- 1/5
Disgusting
- 3/5
The vents were extremely dirty. The AC was also filthy. The counters were not wiped
- 4/5
The room smelled like somone spent years smoking in the room. The residual smell stuck.
- 1/5
The rooms was smelly and they had us waiting 2 hours before we can check in because of comstruction
- 2/5
They were trying to schedule window installation during our stay, which would make us a construction site. And it's right near the airport with planes flying over all the time. But it's a motel 6 and they left the light on. So it was affordable... I was disappointed that hotels.com rated it at 7. So if we're doing out of 10 I would rate it a four. Cheap, and I got what I paid for. But I did have to assert myself that they were not going to be putting windows while we were in the room.
- 1/5
not a good stay
- 1/5
Nothing worked!
- 5/5
I can’t complain about anything. The room was clean, staff was very nice and it was quiet. Everything actually works. AC, tv, hot water.
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
Clean room and comfortable for a reasonable price. However the non smoking rooms still smelled of cigarettes and marijuana because the open courtyards are right outside the rooms. We saw many people just standing in their room doorways smoking and tossing butts on the gound in front. So if you have a problem with cigarette smoke, this is not the place for you.
- 1/5
Room was horrible. No Cable or Wi-Fi. Sheets were stained. Sink didn't drain i had to fix it. In the middle of my stay they wanted to replace the windows. Never again i will be booking a room with them.
- 1/5
We heard our neighbors upstairs throughout the night. It felt very unsafe even with the security guard. We were here only for 4 hrs due to a flight layover and could not sleep. It would be better to pay a little more and be elsewhere.
- 5/5
Room was clean and all appliances worked the fridge and the air con worked well.
- 3/5
If definetly wasnt what the pictures showed, alot smaller and kind of getto!

- 4/5
not as clean as i would've thought
- 1/5
Very poo
- 2/5
Room smelled like smoke. Exterior of hotel under construction with smears of (dried fortunately) cement and stucco everywhere, two massive foul and full dumpsters in the parking lot. Was an alarming pipe labeled “supplementary drain” (with levers to activate on it) running above the first floor. Refrigerator very uneven, rocked when touched. Only “amenity” was two bars of soap. Bed was good though.
- 1/5
Could not check in at 3
- 4/5
Good economic hotel
- 1/5
it felt like the planes were about to land on my mattress all the time
- 1/5
This motel is scary. There was old yellow police tape wrapped around the stairs. The door advises making use of all the locks. Yet, not all of my windows could even be locked shut. The motel is directly underneath the flight path of planes. So expect regular plane noise.
- 2/5
The property was dirty and the bathroom was gross with mold in the grout and a big spiderweb.
- 2/5
Room had an odor , not sure what it was. I've stayed other times before didn't have this issue. I've reserved in the past because of the convenience. Also there's no cable tv, prior to this stay there was no TV and they explained there was something wrong with the connection, few months later , still no cable channels , they explained because of the storm the connection was on and off, but they advertise the cable channels and tv. Motel seems to be downgrading. Staff is friendly but I won't be staying there anymore.
- 2/5
Had to leave my electric wheelchair on my truck in the rain because no elevator to bring indoors, won’t stay there again
- 1/5
microwave but they charged extra for it. NONE of the rooms have microwaves. The motel knows this is happening and they told me since I booked thru Expedia they’d have to refund and Expedia says motel have to refund. I called motel 6 three days after visit to ask about refund again and I asked the person what their name was. She said she said it when she answered phone. I asked what it was because I didn’t catch it . She refused to tell me, I called back a short while later and she didn’t use her name and when I called her out on it she said said “I could see it was your number calling so I didn’t say my name”. How rude, unprofessional and juvenile is that? Avoid this motel at all costs. You’ll pay for amenities you don’t receive and nobody will refund you and at least one staff member who I am working on identifying will treat you like s**t. It’s not worth saving a few dollars. Go to Super 8 they are cheap too and much better than that crappy motel, and don’t use Expedia! They falsely advertise and admit it yet only offer you key points which expire in a few months so I won’t be able to use them. I am working with the BBB to get a refund still.

However there were other things I could not have anticipated. There was construction going on in about quarter of the motel, including one morning where they were working on outside walls in the unit right next to mine. The first room they gave me had a continuously running toilet (I checked the tank and it was running but empty). They moved me to another room *after* sending a maintenance guy who said this was a known issue with this room. So why was it even available? The water pressure in the shower was so minimal I felt like I could never get clean. It was a struggle to reach the level of a drip. I don't ask much of motels but this one was in bad shape. If I could have afforded to take the loss and go to another place I totally would have done that.

Arrived to the property and immediately noticed it did not resemble the online pictures. Went to check in desk and Haylah was very kind and friendly. Got to our room and the outside of the windows were caked in dust and dirt. There was a bad smell in the room. There was something stuck in the shower drain and I pulled it out with a pen and there was.a long dark curly hair in it. Shower was old and grimey. Was totally catfished as the pictures online was NOT at all what we arrived to. Did not feel safe and was not an inviting property to stay at with a child. Mattresses were old and stained. Would not recommend this property. We checked out immediately and was still charged a 1 night fee which I will be disputing. Haylah was very kind and understanding when we wanted to leave.
- 3/5
I stayed one night in this motel. For short stay, it is OK. Service is down in many aspects. They need more staffs and more logistics. No breakfast.
- 3/5
There was a Denny's next to the hotel.
- 1/5
It was terrible. The air conditioner didn’t work properly and no tv. The staff was instructed not to advise guests that the tvs don’t work so they can get your money and have a no refund policy. I checked out a day earlier.
- 5/5
Clean and convenient enough for the price.
- 1/5
This motel sucks!
- 4/5
Planes are pretty loud but solid for the price
- 4/5
the property was older. clean and cared for. a good place to stay for the night to catch a plane in the morning
- 4/5
A good choice when traveling with pups
- 5/5
Staff was friendly
- 1/5
The room along with the bed look and feel like they haven't been updated in 35 years. Giant paint chips out of the wall. Holes in the wall look like they were filled with bubblegum. Not sure I would allow my worst enemy to stay here. And I absolutely hate my worst enemy.
- 3/5
I believe that the motel have to renovate their facility because it's look really bad outside. The location is good tho because it's close to the airport, but I feel a bit unsafe while staying there. The interior is look good for me but still need to improve.
- 4/5
Good value
- 3/5
If things like the tv not working, no microwave, and mini fridge as advertise are not actually available, then we should get a discount or be able to stay longer than normal check out times.
- 3/5
Locks on the room did not work one night they wouldn't switch us rooms until the next afternoon when we had plans so we had to stay in the messed up room the remainder of are trip and had to have the front office open are door every time we returned
- 5/5
Nice place
- 1/5
This motel is home for vagrants they are doing drugs and acting out and are loud. The toilet ran. The tv didn't work. There's not even a microwave. Yes it's cheaper but they should clean this up. What was nice is Denny's was there for food and coffee.
- 4/5
Walking distance of a Denny's among other places. The outside of the facility can be a bit grungy, but you are staying in Chicago, so its not so bad.
- 2/5
Too much noise, room didn't have microwave and fridge like at time of booking, didn't like check in time being at 3pm had to wait for 4 hrs with no place to sit while waiting. Room was not clean and every time I would shower floor would get soak and wet
- 3/5
All you will hear is plans taking off. Not the greatest place to stay bit the price is right
- 2/5
Staff was great, but for hhe cost certainly not worth it. Next night I stayed at the Hampton Airport for $20 less and 100% better.

Room was dine aside from missing deadbolt. We did reserve a room with microwave and refrigerator, room did not have a microwave.

The room was dirty and the staff when was told was so rude they said if I wanted cleaner room to book some where else.
- 4/5
They don't provide shampoo
- 2/5
Sketchy to say the least. Scary vibes

The only great thing about the property was the young lady who checked me in, her name tag said "Hallah Mod". Thank you for helping me with my issue.

Location and price makes this a good choice.

Parking is awesome

Bugs smell no tv
- 2/5
The safety lock of the door was broken off. Oh and the first room I was given the door wouldn't operate so I couldn't even get into the room. The smell of urine was prominent. The mini fridge was very broken and didn't even work although plugged in. Something was wrong w the A/C, you couldn't read what temperature you were setting it at so it wasn't easy to get it to a comfortable temperature. The stairs of the outside entrance areas were crumbling as well as some of the walkways. The staff was the best thing the property had to offer.
- 5/5
Very good place for a overnight stay!
- 2/5
Multiple rooms smelled so much like cat urine that they were almost unusable.
- 1/5
This hotel was an absolute nightmare. The room was filthy and reeked of urine. The bed wasn't made, the sheets were dirty, and the towels were used. The neighborhood was terrible, and there were drug addicts everywhere. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. Don’t be fooled by the pictures
- 4/5
The stay was good. My only complaint was the tv was not working in my room or the other available rooms.
- 3/5
No tv
- 1/5
There’s hair in bathroom and curtains are falling apart. The photos they put here are deceiving. They aren’t actually what it looks.
- 1/5
Had to be moved rooms because my drain wasn’t working in my first room. After repeated attempts at simply getting a receipt, still have not been able to.
- 5/5
Its okay to sleep
- 3/5
There motel was run down and a bit grimy, there was mold in the shower, I could see dirt on the floor, the tv didn’t work, there was no real amenities that I noticed, the pictures didn’t look like the rooms at all… the staff when checking in was great the staff checking out not the best not the worst overall it was a place for the night didn’t end up staying the full two days left early… bit disappointing
- 1/5
Says online was queen beds, was a full size. Also no fridge or microwave even though i paid for an upgraded room to have those. Sheets and blankets were dirty and front desk claimed not to have different ones
- 5/5
My stay was excellent; the only downside was that someone broke the Microwave.
- 4/5
The card key doesn’t work good.
- 5/5
My stay was excellent. The only downside was that someone broke the Microwave.
- 3/5
Paid for a two bed room with a fridge for 70. Received that. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room had a desk but there were no chairs, a furniture item you do not know to miss until you don't have it. Room appeared to have been cleaned but had cracked paint and leaking showerhead. there were some stains and dust missed in our of the way areas. Smelled like smoke.
