This place is a gem in disguise. I am so glad we stayed here. Seeing the wildlife (wild raccoons, and the birds made my grandkids vacation. The rooms were quite and they are updating it to make it even better. Great place to stay

Great hotel for the price. The only complaints I had was the toilet/shower room was small. The door open was literally up against the tub. The ice machine didn't have ice half the time. But the room was clean. The pool was clean. There was some wildlife out back. The balcony with the view of the river was so peaceful. The front desk people were AMAZING. Seriously the place was GREAT. Close to alot of stuff.

We have stayed here before and we love the location and we love being able to feed the raccoons lol . When we first got there our door wouldn't unlock due to dead battery to lock so went to the desk she put us in another room and it was the same way . So finally got put in room on 3rd floor after wanting our original 1st floor stay . Balcony wasn't very clean and didn't look like it had been in awhile and the ice maker on our floor didn't work and when room service came they took the trash and towels but didn't make the beds so wasn't a total bad stay but wasn't the best

It was very nice, not overly dramatic or pricey The chair in the room was dirty with wet stains that made me think about the rest of the room. I understand that updating can make the rooms more expensive but maybe something a little bit brighter.

Elevator broke, no jacuzzi, no continental breakfast, room refrigerator barely worked, ice machine on our floor was broke, room was very very unclean, old nasty looking bed spread and 2nd blanket on the bed was even worse. Definitely won't stay there again. Lights in the room were horrible. Had to actually put makeup on outside on the balcony. Balcony chairs were also unclean and old. Kept waiting for them to break while we sat in them.

The Staff was great !! , convenient location off the parkway.

The elevator did not work. The river view was not that impressive. We did see plenty of raccoons though and it was close to everything.

I like the separate rooms in the hotel. They have bed bugs. I checked the bed in room 202 and you can see the drooping. I came home with 3 bites on me. Thankfully I cancelled my other nights.

I book hotels for the hot breakfast which website shows it offers and they had grab n go which was little Debbie muffins. I won’t book here again.

The pool was actually working! Liked the balconies. Bed was comfy. Very loud location - traffic, honking, people shouting, etc. Tub faucet dripped constantly. Only got two full beds instead of 2 queens. Tiny bathroom.

Seams that when u smoke weed either above or below the 2nd floor the rooms fill with the smell n smoke

The comforter was visibly stained/dirty. The grab and go breakfast was minimal at best.

Very quiet, great location ( not in all the chaos of piegon forge, but less than 15 min from it all ) food options close by, pool was great. Right on the river. Room was clean. We were greated by 5 friendly racoons and a cat on the backside of the balcony and to be honest for us was the best part of the stay! Our kids loved them! Beds were comfy! My only complaints were breakfast was not much some muffins and coffee and I would suggest bringing some extra pillows with you.

The front door didn't open all the way, smelled like smoke, the sink leaked onto your foot while in use, the shower curtain rod would have fallen off if you touched it. The towels was completely dirty and had to go down to the front desk to get more.

My son and I arrived very late from a 9 hour drive. The receptionist was very helpful when we arrived. The beds were fine. We missed the breakfast since we didn't ask when the breakfast hours were.

Loved the little patio outside the back door. There local neighborhood raccoon kept visiting me frequently.

Interesting room with 2 individual bedrooms separated by the washroom/bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. The best part was the little deck off the back bedroom which overlooked a stream with a golf course in the distance. We had a wonderful time watching the birds and just relaxing. So much so that we decided to get takeout from a local bbq restaurant and eat on the deck rather than go out for dinner.

Staff was nice & the sheets was clean. Really hot water & water pressure in shower. No roaches or other bugs that we noticed that’s always a plus. First night first 5 min in the room on the balcony we seen a black bear out back walking/hanging around ,with 3 raccoons, my son enjoyed that! The whole reason we booked the place was based on the fact it says “really good breakfast “ that breakfast was included & on the listing pictures it shows a really nice breakfast/eating area with everything on counters. Get to property & management says they haven’t had breakfast since Covid!! They offer “little bites” muffins & coffee! So NO BREAKFAST!!!! , we got a non-smoking room & there was cigarette burns in carpet floors on comforter covers, & clearly smelled like a smoking room. The floor would’ve been more comfortable than the queen beds & had only 2 pillows on each queen bed that’s smaller than a couch throw pillows… Location-it has a red light with joining Arby’s parking lot to pull in and out but no light to pull out obviously so you can only go 1 way to get out it can be a wait to get out & have to drive down & u turn to go Pigeon Forge

Staff was nice. Room smelled like cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room. Room had two doors for entry which was very weird. The toilet wasn’t stuck to floor, anytime you used it it would clank back and forth.

Bed bug bite from room 321 very painful on April 26,2026. Guy at desk was nice told me to contact hotel.com for refund when they called the girl at the desk refusing to credit because I didn't call that day. I was there because my mother had past and had service on that Sunday. NO time until Monday to call. Waiting to her from owner as I placed a call in to him this morning. I am sure hoping I didn't bring them home and that they sprayed that room. I did make a complaint to environmental health as well

I have stayed several times because I like the 2 bedrooms. But I stayed this time on April 26 with my family in rooms 320 and 321 and got bit by a bed bug. I informed the office and even took it down and showed it to him. The guy at the desk was really nice. He said since I had booked through hotels.com that I would have to call them to get my money bk. This was on Sunday morning. So it was Monday morning before I had a chance to call. When they called the girl at the desk was very rude and refused to credit it bk. I called today tuesday to speek with manager and was told not in.So I want be staying with them anymore. I also reported it to the inviromental health. Hopefully no one else gets bit. They are very painful bites.

I am not sure the sheets had been changed. There was mascara on two of the pillow cases. The toilet had toilet paper in it that had not been flushed. I always bring sheets with me or I would have left the hotel. Would not recommend.

Extremely happy with our stay. Staff was very nice and professional. Even though it's a older property, it was very clean and comfortable. The beds are separated by the bathroom in each room, giving privacy and there is a tv for each bed. Add there is a balcony for each room, and a elevator, pool, and stream behind the property, I'll always stay there whenever I'm in the Smoky Mtns!!! Great rates also!!!

It’s a good place to stay other the then some highway noise

The river and wildlife view was wonderful. This is on a busy highway and it was nice to set on the balcony over looking the river and relax.

Hotel itself is dated but decent for the price and location. Bed rooms- clean entry way and surface areas, upon opening curtains can see dead bugs and dust on windows near locks. Beds 7/10 in comfort and pillows were nice. Bathroom/vanity/coffee area - clean. Bathroom door had handprints smaller could have been cleaned better.

Housekeeping did not change sheets, towels, trash, when asked during our stay. We had to ask management to ensure our rooms were serviced several times before housekeeping actually came. Hotel check in was great. Staff in lobby were very friendly! Parking was very easy. The view from the patio is beautiful! They used to have a full breakfast years ago but now just serve muffins and juice and coffee but that was okay to get us started in the mornings.

Staff was wonderful and helpful even the cleaning crew very nice and friendly rooms were very clean the river view balcony is amazing even the family of Raccoons that come out at night our daughter and grandson named them all over our week stay no issues at all compared to the ones on the strip rundown dirty breakfast is muffins breakfast bars coffee juices but worth having it compared to others that have full breakfast made in not clean equipment with bugs we will stay here again for sure don't be tricked by dead end promises on extra amenities and such

Lighting needs to be up graded. and the beds were stiff. Lamp was missing a light bulb and one of the TV's didn't work.

View from the balcony was the most positive thing that we experienced.

The room that I had was two-bedroom suite. It had a balcony that you can sit and view the river and golf course. There was a hot tub in the room. It was clean, the staff was nice. I didn't like that it stated that it offeres breakfast but they only have tea, coffee, juice, health bars and pastries. Not much to full you up and nothing hot and/or healthy. But we still accepted it. great location for smoky mountains and theme parks in the area. Nice overall and will stay again.

Room smelled like smoke had cigarette burns on comforters floors. Had to go purchase our own pillows because the pillows were so bad. Pictures do not do this hotel justice. The free breakfast was a pack of muffins and a breakfast bar. Definitely not what the images give.

I checked in online and when I arrived at hotel the lady at front desk said they didn’t see that and I had to register all over again. Don’t really understand the point of wasting time to check in online and then have to do it all over again once we arrived.

Checked in and the room stunk of pot. The whole night the room smelled, I called the front desk and the man said he would take care of it, very nice man. Rest of the stay was good until checkout and we found a cockroach on the floor.

There must have been some violence in the room I was in the door dam between rooms had bee repaired but not the best and not to mention the bullet hole patch in the exterior door. Just does not set good impression. Needless to say I will not be staying g here again. And one more thing the clerk when I checked in was not very people friendly it was like I was bothering her.

i killed 2 roaches in the room and there was an arby’s food container in the floor and we found someone else’s hoodie in the room along with that there was a couple pieces of hair on the shower wall that didn’t belong to non of us but besides that the hotel staff was nice and was very quick when checking in and out.

check in was smooth but once we got in the room & started to unpack, my wife went to the bedroom & found 2 roaches crawling on the wall. She killed them then went to use the bathroom & found 2 also & killed them. Then went to the bathroom sink & counter & killed several more!!!! I went to the office & reported it. He moved us to another room. As soon as we opened the door, the smoke smell was very strong. Our son has a pacemaker & CAN NOT be exposed to nicotine smoke. Back to the office & reported it, and he moved us to a 3rd room. It looked ok so we settled in. But before my wife turned the light off, a roach ran across the bed. At this point she was angry, tried to find it but couldn't. She saw it a few minutes later behind the bed frame, but it wouldn't come all the way out. She made a picture of it. By this time she was furious & could not rest knowing it was behind the bed. She did not sleep all night.

There were roaches in the first room I was in. The bathroom sink was swimming in them and crawling up the walls. They moved me to another room, which was better, but nasty. There was poop all over the underneath of the toilet. I could not sleep worrying if it had bugs in it. But it was late and I didn't want to go somewhere else. I am a senior lady, and it was cold. Went to the office next morning and the lady was rude. Was going to heat up a cinnamon roll and the microwave was nasty. I requested a refund and because I stayed they would not give it to me. The place is so bad I would not recommend anyone to stay here

We found 2 cockroachs in our room. One in the microwave and another by the headboards. This is the second stay in a row that we found cockroaches. The rooms were 210 and 211. We stay regularly here and the cockroaches are a deal breakers. Probably not coming back. To note, another day we stayed at this property. The toilet seat wasnt clean and you can see major butt residue on the seat. That was in room 101.

Nice location, nice room with bed on each side , front and back of bathroom, however pictures are deceptive. No breakfast but a mini packaged muffin because of Covid??? Thanksgiving week 2025, really?? I always pick a value priced room with breakfast, if I didn’t want breakfast I would always stay at motel 6. Really disappointed, but only with breakfast.

The carpet was stained and gross. A roach in the bathroom. The #800 reservations told me yhey had waffles, eggs, etc for breakfast...not true just muffins and juice. It was ok for the price.

The overall experience was fine. Most of the staff were fantastic and friendly. The property was clean and quiet. The room was clean overall but the floor didn’t seem like it had been vacuumed or cleaned in a while. The room itself looked really dated and could use an upgrade. Lighting in the room wasn’t great, it was dim. I really liked that there were patios or balconies with seating for each of the rooms.

Interesting room setting, 2 queen beds in the same room with a bathroom and door separating them. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast. . . well, in my opinion it's a joke to call it a breakfast.

Fine to stay for just one night.

Only place I’ve stayed in years love it. Last couple of times getting very dirty. There were potato chips in the chair and on the floor. Beds were clean very disappointing. It’s going downhill.

Slight smells

There is a reference to complimentary breakfast, but the breakfast is in fact some coffee, juice and cookies. Better than nothing, but still not exactly a breakfast.

I requested a main floor room due to knee issues. I was given room #104 where there is signage stating “no parking” due to it being a Fire Lane. This was not helpful since I had to park further away which is why I requested the main floor due to knee issues. 😕

Clean friendly staff

The breakfast menu was pre packaged snack foods. automatic coffee machine with small cups for coffee. The balcony was ok, but there was no light out there and we saw about 30 raccoons fighting over a bowl of food. The carpets was stained in several places and looked grundgy and worn and the locks on the doors were not easy to use and didnt feel like they were locking securey.

Rooms were ok, carpet needs ripping up put flooring...humane society needs to be called to trap 20 or more raccoons that have been fed before someone gets bit.

Just bring healthy food to feed the raccoons that will be in the back. Nice place, very reasonable. Great staff.

Room was mainly clean until we turned on the sink. It had baby roaches come out of it. When reported to feo t desk she was rude and hung up on me mid sentence. No other problem. We did check out the next day to find different lodging. Would have done it rhat night bit it was late. Was very disappointed because i have stayed ther twice before without any problems. Another couple had problem when i was chexking in so i knew there was a chance.

I let them know on arrival that the heater by door was not working. They replied “we have no one right now to check it, will contact you when someone is available “. We left on Wednesday heat still not fixed. Lady on evening shift at front desk very good, others not so much.

Rugs were stained, desk chair peeling, some sort of brown nasty substance on the handle in the shower, mold over the ceiling in the shower. All housekeeping did was empty trash pails, if there was paper on the floor by the pail, they left it. At one point our keys stopped working. Went to office and ang all o got was oh. Then he reprogrammed the keys. No explanation, no sorry for the inconvenience. Nothing.would NOT stay here again.

The room was not at all as advertised or rated on Expedia. It was old, holes in the ceiling tiles, stains on the carpet, free breakfast was a grab/go muffin, dingy bathroom, dirty windows, A/C didnt work (full blast and it was hot in the room)....I didn't want to touch anything. We didn't stay, we packed up and went to another hotel. I was waiting for the roaches/rats to start scurrying around....it was really, really bad.

The cleaning is terrible too dirty, bad facilities the rooms smell very very bad, the air conditioners do not work well and make a lot of noise, it is impossible to sleep because of the noise of the people who stay there, the lights had problems and did not turn off all night in short a very very bad experience and I do not recommend it

Bed was hardish but comfortable. Seemed clean but i didn't want to investigate too hard. Floors were absolutely disgusting though. I would not recommend walking around barefoot. Shower had black mold, and something I can only describe as dried blood on the "conserve water" sign. Never turned on the air because they were gross; I was afraid to see what blew out of it. Mini muffins and coffee in the lobby were it for the "free breakfast". How this hotel was rated an 8 on hotels.com is beyond me. We will not stay there again.

We were invaded by racoons. Everything was dirty, inside and outside.

Absolutely loved having the back door that opened to a patio overlooking the river. The rooms were clean & comfortable. The employees very nice & helpful!

We did enjoy sitting outside watching the scenery and wildlife. Since I've stayed here previously I already knew to bring cleaner and rags to clean the chairs and table outside. I'm just really shocked with the difference in this motel in a short amount of time. I really hope that measures are taken and not just the same response that I have read in previous reviews. If I stay here again I will definitely ask to see the room first. I'm really hoping I see an improvement because I've been coming here for at least 15+years. It just takes management making sure certain things are getting done correctly.

Nice rooms

Nothing personal but the bathroom was the biggest disappointment a little worn and seem unclean- second the room carpet smelled pretty bad- the price was great but these areas need some improvement-

Room was not swept mopped or vacummed before or during our stay. Sheets and pillow cases were on inside out. There were dead bugs and food that looked like it had been there for awhile. Had a nice sized balcony with chairs, and all was dirty. Could not use it.

It’s a really good option for a short stay and affordable. Second time and we’re planing to come back. The rooms are nice and perfect if you travel with kids, teens or friends and want to stay together but with some privacy.

Carpets need shampooed , windows as in frame and all inside need cleaned , blankets looked very used possibly get new ones , shower head was bad we tried all three setting and the shower head is even full of calcium or something absolutely no pressure at all it was shooting everywhere !!!! Lack of seating to watch tv could be added too

Property was easy to find. A great view of the river, and even got to see a family of raccoons. The room was clean and spacious. Loved that the beds were in separate rooms. The bathroom had mold around the vents and the spa tub jets did not work.

Perfect for a quick trip to the smokies. Out of the busy part of town. Clean rooms. Clean pool. Nice view of the creek

We stayed 8/19 to 8/23. The first night the tv didn't work, they did fix that the next day. The elevator didn't work and we were on the 3rd floor. The room was clean and comfortable.

Room was better than expected! There were also animals out the back door (raccoons, ground hog, cats) begging for food every night, which my family enjoyed. Very quiet, pool was nice, sitting rooms were nice.

Air conditioning not working properly and always felt muggy in the room.

Good for the price. Didn’t have an actual breafkfast, they offered mini bite muffins and nitro grain bars. The shower and tub were water stained and streaked with a little mold on the ceiling, but the remainder of the room was clean and the sheets were clean and bug free. Staff was attentive, (we needed extra towels and rags, as well as fresh sheets on one of the beds). Overall not bad considering what we paid for it.

I love this hotel. It was my second stay. I will be back. The only disappointment was they closed their breakfast room. I had to eat a yucky cold sandwich for breakfast. Had no ice delivery but sign said no ice for coolers. Other than those inconveniences, I had a comfortable stay.

Beautiful area, rooms face onto the river. Only issue I have, because I spend a lot of time here is that there is no laundry facilities. They need to add those. Other than that, anout the best value in the area. Be prepared to deal with the local raccoons, they are fatty little beggars, but cute.

I loved the way the rooms were set up, the staff was excellent and friendly. It's in a convient location, close to all the activities we wanted to do. The only thing I didn't like was the cleanliness of the rooms. I feel that that could be improved. The bathroom has mold on the ceiling tiles, the vent was clogged and dusty and the back patio could use some attention like being swept and the windows needed cleaning. Other than that I was happy with our stay since we did stay a week, we met some fabulous people there and I would recommend this location to anyone that will be staying in the area. Also, I think the breakfast could use some upgrades, I wasn't a fan of the grab and go that they had set up, since it was a lot of families that stayed I think cereal could be incorporated and some kind of hot food options.

Were do I start. We have stayed here before and vowed we would not beback. Yep we tried it again. First, booked room months ago. Asked for adjoining rooms. I know they can do this because li requested befor and got them. I asked for top floor. Bedspread had stains, air conditioner was unsafe because they had no vent cover. The opening was disgusting. There was only 1 chair on the balcony. Im really not happy

This is an older hotel and could use some new carpet/ paint etc but the price is great. The sheets, blankets, pillows and towels were all clean. The mattresses were comfortable and covered. No signs of roaches or bedbugs. Pool was clean. Staff was friendly and there’s a red light which was nice with all the traffic. Note that breakfast is muffins/snack cakes, coffee and juice not an actual sit down kind of breakfast. No pets and no smoking, there was always someone smoking on their balcony and did see a husky in one of the rooms (could have been a service dog though) Overall it’s a perfectly acceptable place to stay with no complaints

Decent hotel for the price. Clean enough, but the AC was not the greatest, so comfort was tested. All in all, a good experience.

Do not stay here with kids. We got to this hotel at about 1 AM our first night. We read reviews and researched and decided to give it a try based on reviews saying it was clean and people’s favorite hotel with a beautiful scenery in back. Upon arriving the police were leaving, this should have been our first hint. As we pulled in we noticed this motel had some interesting characters out front loitering, half clothed. We checked in and went straight to our room. Walking into our room gave us the feeling of an hourly rate motel. There were burn holes in the curtains, sheets, comforter sheet and an over all smell of weed. The bathroom tub was broken and they took the broken piece, put 2 screws in it and it called it a day. The tub also had jets, the appeared to have 40 years of gunk and crud built up in them. I immediately contacted Expedia regarding the inaccurate descriptions and reviews on their site. They were extremely helpful in getting us a refund and giving credit to book a completely new hotel. Do not stay here.

The first room that we got there was a lot of food left in the fridge so he moved use to another room and the carpet in there was so stained and nasty looking. The people was very nice and easy to work with

Nice rooms. Clean. Only thing with this particular room is the A/C unit has no vents on it. Had No breakfast--just snack muffins/pies and juice/coffee.

We really enjoyed our stay. Room was very clean, pool was nice and clean, staff was super friendly. The only thing we would say that wasn't what we expected was the breakfast, if you can even call it a breakfast (Nutri-Grain bars and mini muffins). Other than that our stay was awesome.

I have a family of four and I understand value hotels are not going to be the best, but this is among the worst hotels I have ever had the misfortune to reserve. Please, please for anyone considering this place, choose somewhere else. You'll be much happier. Had to sleep in the parking lot due to an infestation of bugs in the room. Woke up after being bitten several times. At 1am, told the hotel manager, Matt, who advised he can cancel the room but no other rooms were available. Told him we were going to have to sleep in the car because of the bug situation, at which point he was very abrasive and said "We can't have people sleeping in their cars on the property." Well Matt, I wouldn't have to if your hotel wasn't a disgusting mess. Checked out at 6am and Matt, being fully aware of the situation and that we slept in the car, said he could nothing for us in terms of a refund. Hotels.com would only give a 25% credit of the room's cost. Abysmal experience. There were ceiling tiles covered in mold. Cob webs in nearly every ceiling corner. Cigarette burns on the sheets. Was good and quite

Layout of rooms made front bedroom extremely noisy from traffic. Room was worn and dirty. Found a roach inside the refrigerator and abandoned food left over from dinner the previous evening.

Cheap and easy

Overall didn’t paid much so no complaints but if someone expecting much then this hotel not for you And I would say don’t even go for breakfast you won’t find much dunkin is couple of miles from there , check out was easy as check in

Very nice

Our weekend was very pleasant, motel is an older place but very nice. Did not see any bugs, Saw nothing wrong except it being an older motel. Will stay again.

I could not recommend this hotel. We had 2 adjoining rooms. While the layout was highly functional for 3 teen children and myself, and the price was reasonable, the rooms were in terrible shape. There were multiple significant stains on the bed spreads on all 4 queen beds. The walls, carpets, and ceilings had what could have been blood stains…. We stayed in 220 & 221. 221 had a significant bug infestation in the bathroom with 7-8 dime sized bugs resembling roaches. We checked in at 3 before departing to vollleyball tourney, and didn’t return until 11 that night. We never entered the rooms when we checked in. If I had, we would have left.

Little outdated but other than that was everything I needed

We so enjoyed having the view of the river from our balcony. Loved having a personal balcony too. Room was clean and very quiet considering the traffic flow in front of the facility. Would recommend Super 8 to all we tell of our trip. Will be back again.

It would be nice if they used liquid soap instead of bars.i liked the way each bed had its own room.

Really good, could use some updates. But overall great for the price. Reading some reviews had me wondering, but it was absolutely worth the price

When we first walked in, there was a terrible smell. We had to get air fresheners. Bathtub had black mold and hairs. Unknown stain on carpet. I paid 3 extra dollars for a river view. All rooms had river views! The “river” had not been cleaned up after the hurricane. Virtually no breakfast. Way overpriced for the poor state of the room. I won’t stay there again. Not as advertised!

Ask for disabled room when making reservations but was told none available, room was on 3rd floor. Did have elevator.

I’ve been staying here for several years now, a few times a year. I love that the rooms are separate, and the raccoons and wildlife outside are a plus! I like the central location. This past time we stayed in a room and saw a lot of full grown roaches. We were shocked. It was the first night so we called the front desk and when I went down the worker was just sitting there on the phone with a new set of keycards held up- no words spoken. We ended up having better luck after a lot of searching and stress moving at midnight. Unfortunately it was anxiety inducing for the rest of the 4 nights of what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. I am reluctant to return but hopeful they will take care after seeing more recent reviews also mentioning roaches. I would hate to not be able to return to this hotel.

The fridge was dirty the coffee had a coffee pod in it with mold growing on top there was pubic hair in the tub

Front desk is awesome. Clean rooms. Family of raccoons in the river area behind the hotel. 10/10

"Breakfast" was basically small bags of mini-muffins. Nothing else. Not expecting a big spread, but don't consider the "free breakfast" in your reservation decision making process.
