Wish we could have stayed longer.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay and everything you need for a great vacation is provided.
- 5/5
This place is so quaint and easy going. We loved it so much, we added two nights to our trip. It is located half a block from the beach. There are at least three restaurants a block away that have an outdoor tables and balconies with views of the sunset over the gulf.
- 5/5
We had the best weekend! Can’t wait to come back.
- 5/5
Quaint clean and well maintained
- 5/5
Wonderful staff
- 4/5
Great hosts, good location. The place could use some touch ups on painting, caulking, etc. and the bathroom is NOT for oversized guests!! Strongly recommend though!
- 5/5
We came for a staycation, however, we were thrilled to not have to tote our beach umbrella and chairs.... along with beach towels. This is cumbersome for even a native so it was refreshing to have everything there but then to go leaps and bounds beyond expectation they have bikes, kayaks, a grill, toiletries AND a pool steps from the beach!? You cant beat this little getaway! You simply dont have to compromise. Maggie was incredibly welcoming as well. I can't say enough about this place. (:

This was the best getaway and I'm so glad I took a chance on this inn and location. I have always loved Pass-a-Grill but never found a hotel or accommodations that I really felt comfortable, but this is my go to moving forward. First all, the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. This location was amazing and near the beach, restaurants and just a great location overall. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable, nicely decorated in a quaint and calming but in a modern way. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept on. I was a solo traveler so the room size was perfect, but may be tight for a couple. The only downside was the bathroom was small which and wasn't a problem except when using the toilet. If a person were tall they might have a tight fit. I'm a larger person and managed, so it's doable. The location to the beach was amazing and less than a minute walk. Plenty of parking. Great outdoor space - the pool was a great size, and the outdoor kitchen was clean and amazing as well outdoor seating and porch swings. The inn provided bikes, beach accessories and beach towels. I almost hate to leave a glowing review because I want to keep this secret place for myself, but trust me you won't be disappointed. Loved this place!

This was the perfect spot. Close to the beach and restaurants, everything was walkable and the staff was so friendly and helpful! Jeffrey was great.
- 5/5
Hosts were fantastic and helpful.... My wife and I had a beautiful weekend!! I was totally amazed at the quiet and peaceful spot. Definitely want to come back for a longer stay.
- 5/5
Very clean place with all the amenities you need also nice Custumer service. Kudos to Jeffrey very pleasant person. Walking distance to the beach very important.
- 5/5
What a gem! Clean, convenient, and had everything we needed and more. Can’t wait to stay again.
- 4/5
A cute and quaint property with friendly staff. Jeffrey was very welcoming and very helpful during our stay. We loved the pool and all the property amenities. We will be back!
- 2/5
Very basic. Old equipment. Unfriendly staff. I would not recommend this property.
- 4/5
Nice place and location
- 4/5
The staff was exemplary Great location for access to dining and beach. Nothing there is “ on the beach”, but this was a very short walk, like 1 block. Only negative would be a comfy chair would have been nice in the room. Will definitely return there!
- 5/5
Great location! Walking distance to the beach (half a block) and restaurants. Cannot beat that. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall, a great experience and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the Coconut Inn was beyond great! From check in to ease of parking to very clean room and accommodations….We couldn’t say enough!! The staff is great and on top of guests needs!! We will definitely stay here again!!!! Our dog, Huck, was even comfortable. He has anxiety and he was at ease!
- 5/5
Loved staying here. Very clean and quaint. Very close to the beach and chairs, umbrellas and beach towels provided. Cute walkable downtown area. If I visit this area again, this will be my first choice of places to stay.
- 4/5
My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Coconut Inn had everything we needed to relax on the beach or to ride their bikes to the store. We used the small kitchen and relaxed by the pool when it was too windy by the Gulf.
- 5/5
quaint
- 5/5
Friendly staff and very relaxing atmosphere. Amenities very nice.
- 5/5
Absolutely beautiful property and the staff was above and beyond- they text us morning of check in to tell us our room was ready and they had everything you can imagine covered from umbrellas to beach supplies, chairs and even fishing poles! Highly recommend!
- 5/5
We had a lovely evening! Thank you
- 5/5
Magical perfect place!
- 5/5
it was the perfect place for a long weekend. very close to beach, quiet, clean and well appointed
- 5/5
I'm a Floridian and loved my stay but for visitors looking for an authentic, historic experience that they remember from the old postcards and movies, this is the place. Even the staff are old school polite and accommodating.
- 5/5
Loved staying here. We had a great time. Very easy to work with the management. We will come back.
- 5/5
This property is a hidden gem right off the water with such a quaint experience and staff! Will definitely be back
- 4/5
Great location! The suite was very clean and cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. Lovely patio area and nice to have kayaks and beach stuff at our disposal. My only real issue was the bathroom. It was small and a bit dated and lacked storage space. Toilet was low the the ground, and it splashed up toilet contents when it flushed. The shower water went from warm to scalding hot if you turned it too far. and I feel like for the cost of the room, we expected a bit more in that regard.
- 5/5
So cute
- 5/5
Such a nice quaint place to stay and so close to the beach!
- 5/5
Great hotel! Was even able to check in early
- 5/5
Excellent hosts! Clean, great location. Quiet little community
- 5/5
Maggie was awesome. Polite and very friendly to work with!!!!
- 5/5
It had everything we needed and was so close to the beach and restaurants. We used the free beach chairs and bicycles several times
- 5/5
Great location. Super kitchen with all I needed. Very updated!
- 5/5
The property was literally steps to the beach. Staff was courteous and helpful
- 5/5
Highly recommend the Coconut Inn. Rooms are clean and beautifully decorated by local artist Allie Arnold. Free parking during your stay and the glimmering Gulf is right acrooss the street. A short walk to 8th avenue brings you to lovely shops like the local art co-op and Dody Beach and Bungalow. lovely place for a family staycation or solo respite. This will be our special place to visit!
- 5/5
Small room, small bed, small pool, small bathroom. Yet, it doesn’t matter when you are less than a block from the Gulf beach/water. Friendly staff, super clean room. It is an old Florida style inn, and dated, so if you are a 5-star junkie, don’t come. If you are laidback, fun, Friendly, and love the beach, come!
- 4/5
Cons for area: we've never found any. Limited parking helps keep crowds down. On site free parking at Coconut Inn makes this a non-issue. Pros for Coconut Inn: nice pool, old school bikes to ride, outdoor games, lavishly tropical grounds, outdoor cooking center, plenty of outdoor seating, friendly, efficient staff. The beds and pillows are comfy, white and bleached for each visitor Cons for Coconut Inn: We chose Unit 4 and found its 400 sq feet much too small for two grown adults, especially the micro-bathroom, wherein the space between the end fo the toilet and the wall is approximately 8-10 inches. Although our plans are always to spend as little time possible in our room, due to it being the rainy season and the scamdemic, we were in our room more than we would have preferred, which is why this made a big difference to our comfort. Take away: We highly recommend Coconut Inn. We will be back and stay in a larger room. We love PAG
- 4/5
Great location and cute accommodations. However, the rooms are small (bathrooms are TINY) which I do understand is typical for old style Florida hotels. I would go again but only if the price was substantially lower than I paid ($310/night).
- 5/5
A very nice property across from the beach. Fully equipped kitchenette with table and chairs inside and out. Great outside area available with grilling equipment and two gazebos with seating. A pool with loungers also available . Full use of beach chairs, bikes , kayaks and beach towels. iThe owner is very friendly and helpful . I would highly recommend this property. All restaurants are a short walk away. I would stay again.
- 3/5
The hotel had a great location, just steps from the beach. It was a super quaint hotel, and the staff was amazing. My complaint was one, but it was huge. The walls were so thin that each morning I woke to the sound of the people in the room next to us talking, at about 6am. I could literally hear their normal voice level conversations word for word. My husband and I were on a get away and it truly ruined the trip for us. Each morning I ended up resorting to banging on the walls to get them to shut up. Which they shouldn't have had to do, they really weren't being loud. The vent in the wall behind our bed made their voices amplified. I heard all about their kids, how to work their phones, their grand kids... I wanted to go through the wall like the kool-aid man. For this reason I would not recommend this property. Which is a shame because it was really quaint, and when they finish the patios and move the piles of bricks I expect it will only be better.
- 2/5
This is an overpriced property. It is old and many of the facilities are in poor shape. Our toilet broke from old age leaving us with a toilet for over 12 hours. The stove is really not functional. The beds were awful. We would never stay here again.
- 5/5
The location and facilities at the coconut inn are excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. The beach is a short 2 min walk and the inn provides chairs and umbrellas for the beach as well as kayaks for the sea. Bikes are also available free. We had a great stay very very relaxing and cannot wait for second visit.
- 5/5
The Coconut Inn, Maggie and her staff, are great! My wife and I decided to do a "stay-cation", as we live locally, for the entire "new years week" and loved it! One of our favorite parts is the private heated pool/Jacuzzi tucked neatly into the courtyard between the two buildings. Additionally there are really nice cruiser bikes available for the quick tour around the peninsula, along with two kayaks. Also, a very nice feature, aside from the in-room kitchen, was the outdoor grilling kitchen. We used that ALOT and loved it...felt like "home" but more special. The location is excellent and the "heart" of the business district of the beach area. It's two tiny little blocks from The Hurricane restaurant / beach bar and The Brass Monkey sports bar/restaurant. We will stay again in the future!
- 5/5
Nice location. Pleasant room and facilities. Very small bathroom.
- 5/5
Small studio room. In the most perfect location. Wish we could of stayed longer. If we are lucky enough to be in the area again we would definitely stay again at the coconut inn.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay at the Coconut inn. It's small and quaint and the staff is wonderful. We always try to get back at least once a year.
- 5/5
Great place in a great location. Helpful and kind staff. Unique little place. Will likely be back!
- 5/5
We loved our stay. The Inn is right across from the beach and very close to excellent restaurants. We will definitely stay here again

- 5/5
We loved our stay at the Coconut Inn! So clean and comfy. Great little pool and beach is right across the street. Hope to stay there again some day!
- 5/5
Perfect location, friendly staff. Use of shower room in last day.
- 5/5
The property is located one street off the Gulf Way, an easy walk to the beach. The staff is very responsive, rooms are clean and include a stove, microwave, fridge, utensils and a nice dining area. The pool is clean and the property includes a garden for relaxing or grilling out. They provide chairs and umbrellas for beach use,
- 5/5
Really was a nice place and very comfortable. Only stayed for a night but will come back for a long week on my next trip.
- 5/5
Staff tremendous! Perfect location. Loved all the amenities. Steps to beach! Felt pampered. Will definitely be back!
- 5/5
Unfortunately the cleaning staff can’t read the do not disturb sign hanging on door as they tried to come in😡
- 5/5
Amazing getaway at Pass a Grille and Coconut Inn. Room was so comfortable. Loved being able to walk to beach and restaurants. Such a relaxing time
- 2/5
Efficiency was extremely small. The restroom was 4 feet wide. I'm 6-1 figure out how I could use it ?
- 5/5
Loved the location! We would definitely return! The staff was extremely kind.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful birthday weekend 4/20 - 4-22. We were thrilled to ride the bikes which were provided through the town first thing in the morning. Then walk across the street to the beach using the beach chairs which were also provided by the Inn. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you to the wonderful staff who where very kind and informative.
- 5/5
Our room was on second floor and it was a little bit of a challenge dragging our suitcases up, but it was a very quiet pleasant room that looked out on the street with a lot of light.
- 5/5
OK. They can't do anything about the weather, and honestly we weren't as bothered by 60 degrees as other people, being from Wisconsin. So much to do in walking distance was a treat. Boyfriend enjoyed using the pool and bikes. Very convenient, even with the construction going on.
- 5/5
Fantastic experience! Great beach location was ideal for walking or biking (bikes on property) to restaurants or shops. Pool was very relaxing. Staff members, Nicki and Meredith, were extremely helpful and accommodating.
- 4/5
Margaritas are outstanding at Sea Critters and only $3 during 3-6 happy hour.
- 5/5
Pass-a-Grille is a unique neighborhood that has a calm environment, with a number of unique amenities. It is for the visitor who wants a personal experience and can take the time to savor its history and charm. Our stay was enhanced by the cozy offerings of the Coconut Inn.
- 5/5
The Coconut Inn was a fantastic little place right next to the beach in quiet Pass-a-Grille. In town for a wedding, this was the perfect place for us to visit the area but still be close enough to the bigger resorts at St. Pete Beach to get back & forth to the ceremony & festivities.
- 5/5
Perfect location with lots of charme. St Pete Beach is a nice small location with unique atmosphere and Coconut Inn is just a few steps to the beach crossing the beach drive. We traveled around Florida and found this place one of our favorite. Beside the atmosphere of the location everyone at Coconut Inn made our stay comfortable and nice. We found a very clean and charming apartment, even it is fair space for two persons who are willing to spend most the time outside closed walls. In the evening we had our private drink on the balcony belonging to the apartments. Actually everyone at Coconut Inn was very nice and we loved the outstanding kindless of the complete team during our stay. Even beach cruisers, Stand Up Paddle boards, beach chairs and sun ambrellas we could get from the otel free of charge. One of the most relaxed and enjoyable stays we had in Florida so far. If we´ll come back to Florida some day we definetely will come back to Coconut Inn.
- 5/5
Great place and walking distance to everything we wanted to do
- 5/5
This boutique hotel group is great! We had reservations at Coconut Inn but due to a FL storm, they were accommodating a guest who needed to extend their stay and they upgraded us to the Havanah Inn with Ocean View.
