If there was a higher rating above a 10,I would have gave it. My room was spotless clean. The room was so nice and up to date. Every was so nice and helpful, they made sure they answered my questions and that I had what I needed to be comfortable. I will definitely be back.

Adorable spot right next to the beach. Freshly renovated and intimate. Loved the bikes, coffee and lovely balcony. Definitely coming back!

Beach was accessible by crossing the road. Air conditioning was pleasant. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

This place was such an adorable gem! It was better than expected, perfect distance from the beach, maybe 75-100 ft across the street. Super clean and amenities and staff went above and beyond! Would recommend to anyone looking for simple and easy and convenient!

This hotel is excellent! The location and the staff are amazing! The room was clean and beautiful, the smart tv it’s easy to connect to your device to watch what you want, plus the WiFi is fast. Parking can be a bit difficult since it’s a small hotel and even street parking on St Pete Beach is hard to find. However, it’s worth it if you have to park and walk a bit because you get to enjoy the view, the sounds and the breeze. Also, the hotel is close to restaurants and shops. I’ll definitely return to this hotel and I recommend it if you’re looking for a hotel in the area.

Fantastic place to stay away from the high rises and busy end of the blvd. great view, super quiet, comfy beds. Only small downside was the shower water pressure is low (water saver head) but still gets 5 stars. Would def stay here again.

Persimmon room- brand new, upgraded, (we had stayed in it prior to renovation) ground floor, immaculate, large king bed was comfy, excellent water pressure in shower, thick, soft towels, perfect location, friendly, efficient staff, we love this Inn- have stayed six previous times and will return soon! Highly recommended. No frills- but everything you need for an excellent beach stay (towels, chairs, cooler, ice, bikes, they even have sunscreen! And FREE parking. Reserve your stay soon!

The room was great. It was supposed to be a quiet environment. Lots of furniture moving and loud people in the room above me. I called the inn number. They wanted me to go upstairs and ask them to be quiet. I didn’t think that would be safe in today’s world

The welcoming staff was the highlight of our stay, beginning from days ahead of our stay. They were friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. We wished that we could have stayed longer. The location is perfectly situated across from the beach, and they generously supplied beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler and towels to make the most of the day. Bikes were available to explore the area. We wished we could have stayed longer. Definitely returning for a visit next chance we get.

This property was absolutely perfect for my husband and I. The staff was extremely welcoming upon checkin. Whenever we needed anything, someone was always on site and willing to help right away. Our room was very clean and always nice and cool (which we needed since it was HOT) while we were there. The space was inviting and newly remodeled. The on-site amenities were a huge perk which simplified our stay. We rode the beach cruisers daily. They also include beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers which are all in excellent condition. They were also very accommodating when we asked for a late checkout due to our flight being a little later in the evening. The location is perfect and most restaurants and shops are walkable. We will definitely be back!! Thanks again for making our trip one for the books!

Beautiful view of the beach, Sunsets to die for. The only thing is parking in the lot is very limited, but the Inn does pay for metered parking out front. We didn't like parking on the street overnight but would not let this deter us from staying here again.

Tina is the perfect hostess! We enjoyed the interaction with other guests in the courtyard while we are on our way to the beach or dinner and Tina was always there facilitating and welcoming. We stayed in Sea Grape and it was lovely Book early!

The rebuilt property is absolutely gorgeous! Our room had a very large deck looking right out onto the beach. The parking was easy and the room was beautiful. We couldn’t have picked a better spot. We will definitely return a definite shout out to Tina who is extremely accommodating, friendly and a huge help to booking the room. She is a real asset to the property.

Super clean, comfy beds and towels-Felt spa-like. They provide beach equipment, chairs and umbrellas, and towels, which makes life so easy. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for the beach and walking to restaurants and shopping. No kids allowed which did not impact us, but just letting folks know, as it was not in the Expedia description. Parking is limited, but they will help if you do not get a spot and have to pay on the street.

Frig was great but a small microwave would have been a big plus. Ceiling fan was noisy & we asked for our floor to be swept & mopped, which didn’t happen. We had to brush our feet off before getting in bed. Great linens, towels & robed as well as quality toiletries. If we stay again we’ll ask for second floor as there was a lot of noise, chairs scraping, furniture moving & loud walking at all times of day & night, directly above us. Great location! Loved the area.

A great place to stay and it is as close to the beach as the pictures show. We enjoyed all the amenities including: beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, coolers and ice. The room was very clean and modern. We appreciated the kerig coffee maker and pods, condiments, icemaker, and kitchenette. I would highly recommend staying here. Loved the location!

However, our experience was significantly impacted by the check-in process. The front desk staff was unwelcoming and immediately informed us of a “strict no children policy” in a way that felt more like a scolding than a policy explanation. We were not provided with any information about amenities, the property, or our stay. This left us feeling embarrassed and anxious rather than welcomed. What was particularly confusing was that we couldn’t find this children policy anywhere on their website or booking platform - only a no pets policy was listed. In fact, we found rooms advertised as suitable for families with children, which made the interaction even more puzzling. The room itself was well-maintained, though the bathroom is quite small and would be challenging for taller or larger guests. While the property has potential with its charming beachside location, the unwelcoming check-in experience turned what should have been a relaxing getaway into a stressful situation. We had originally intended to extend our stay and ended up cutting our stay short to continue our vacation elsewhere. With improved customer service and clearer policy communication, this could be a wonderful place to stay.

The beach was easily accessible. The beach chairs were a little tall for us but luckily we brought our own. We were able to leave our things on the beach, grab a quick lunch & not feel like we missed any quality beach time! Highly recommend staying at the Inn on the Beach!

We had thee best time at The Inn on the beach. Everyone that works there deserves a raise. They went above and beyond to accommodate any need or request we had. I slept better in that bed than I have in years, I love the pillow so much I went out and bought one. I love the location the amenities, all of it. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about this hotel. We plan to only stay here on any future trips. Thank you to a great group of people running a wonderful hotel!!

I really like the ease of self-check-in, and the nice beach towels and chairs we get to use. There are also bikes to borrow, but we didn't try that out. The room is cozy but also has plenty of space for two. The bed is a little firm, which is good for us. The AC unit kept the room nice and frosty, but the light that emits from it was pretty bright. If you're someone who likes it dark to sleep, you might get annoyed with the light. There are already pics of the room on here, and they're accurate, but let me tell you about the bathroom. It's not terrible, but it's just small. In fact, if we were larger people, we would not have been able to get into the bathroom. The room is located upstairs, so it is already not meant for someone who can't do stairs - but - the bathroom door opens up less than 90 degrees because it hits the toilet upon opening. And the sink is in the way from walking straight in. The shower is a normal size, but the space itself is really small. Lastly - the PARKING - or, the lack of parking. We arrived around 4p, and there was nowhere. The lot has 8 spots, the Inn has 12 rooms. We were told to park on the road, but no spots. If you arrive after sunset, the street will have space for you (or before 8a).

The staff was super friendly & helpful, particularly Tina, and our room nice. We could not have enjoyed our time there more and will stay at the Inn again. (Parking was a little difficult at times, but that problem is everywhere there; the staff went out of their way to assist finding parking and alternatives to driving — ie, the Freebees ap — so I can’t complain.)

This place lives up to its name…it really is on the beach. The owner or manager Tina is full of personality and such a joy. She made sure our stay was perfect. We hope to get to return to the area again, and we want to stay in this Inn again. Its location is perfect.

Great spot, location is cool, dinning options walkable, great view of the sunset, only thing is the beach has a lot of shells so bring water shoes and we did have bad weather before I went so there was a lot of seaweed and the water wasn’t clear but it was warm. Overall, this is a very intimate and quiet spot and I loved it for me and the wife.

All of the staff were very kind and responsive. We so LOVE the tranquility of Pass a Grille beach and Inn on the Beach is a perfect accommodation. The room was fresh, clean and the coffee was great too!

Check-in was easy, room was very clean and updated. In the morning they offered coffee, fruit and snacks such as bags of mixed nuts and cliff bars. The freezer was full of bagged ice, they had. Oiler in the room and comfortable beach chairs.

Perfect location with everything you could possibly need for a beach day. Also bikes on offer. Stayed in Gardenia knew the bathroom was tiny but was totally fine with us for two nights. Bed is very hard. Not a fan but some people prefer that. Many thanks!

They also had bikes for guest use, but we found everything to be within walking distance. The inn's commitment to providing a relaxing experience is truly commendable. In the evenings, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the sunset, which was nothing short of breathtaking. We were in the Gardenia Room which is Studio with a very small bathroom. It was very comfortable and the balcony is what makes it a fabulous room due the space and the view. The personnel are the best! So friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect - right across the street from the beach and walking distance to fun, food and shopping.

Had a wonderful stay here for a friends wedding. The place has wonderful amenities and was right across from the beach. Super clean and friendly staff. 10/10 will be staying again.

Inn on the Beach is a perfect location for biking, walking, shell collecting, strolling along the oceanfront, exploring nearby communities.....it really is a perfect place to stay. We used the beach chairs, beach towels and bicycles that were provided by the property. Parking is available at the property, otherwise, permit parking is available just across the street. From the Inn you can stroll across the street and to the ocean. The beach area is clean and maintained. This area is known for sunsets and that is true! We loved this part of St. Pete's Beach because it was active, but peaceful. There are pickleball and tennis courts about one block away. Also, check out freebeachride.com Paradise Grille has really good food (had breakfast and lunch) and The Wharf also (loved the grilled shrimp). There is a Publix grocery store not far away. We would stay at Inn on the Beach again- and actually met people who have been return guests for 15 years.

This property truly is a gem. The rooms are efficient- they have everything you need. You are a stones throw away from the beach. There are chairs and umbrellas that you can use, which saves money. The people at the property are very personable, very approachable, and very likable. There was a breakfast on the Saturday and Sunday that we stayed. I think this may only be something that is done on the weekends. There was a cooler in the room and they also provided ice so that we could take our own beverages. They provide beach towels. There were robes in the room. There was also a sign that they could provide other appliances such as microwave, if needed. There was a coffee maker in the room as well as the selection of tea which was wonderful. There is a mini fridge in the room. The area is very quaint. VERY walkable, though they do have a few bikes available for use. Parking was no problem. It's extremely picturesque and more on the quiet side but walk down a few blocks and you will find a selection of restaurants and shops. You also are within a few minutes drive to lots of restaurants. We are definitely going to be back. Our room, the orange blossom, was clean, cool and quiet.

Property is very cute! Staff is really nice and accommodating. Location is good, right across rom the beach. Bathrooms are small, so if you're tall this might an issue.

Fifth stay- had ground level Orange Blossom room this time. Clean. Efficient. Queen bed seems more like a double bed (we did not measure it, but have both slept in queens before that had more room!) AC was quiet and kept us cool! We made our own ice with in-room maker, but the inn has ice in a chest for (free) guest use, for coolers they provide as an amenity (or use however, obviously) Upstairs neighbors were noisy, late one evening, and there is no staff after 6pm, so one just has to "suck it up" only true downfall of property. Walking to beach and toes in the ocean in about three minutes tends to make up for it (mostly) Included manual bikes are in good shape- some have locks. Sunday morning fruit-filled muffin, fruit, coffee and tropicana juice offering was unexpected and awesome. One of the staff was SO helpful, always asking if we needed anything, wish I had gotten her name, as there were three total and the middle-aged woman was so genuinely friendly and helpful. Walk or bike to quaint local shops and restaurants. Seahorse, Hurticane and Red, White and Booze and Paradise Grill are recommended. Our favorite is the 1930's Seahorse (bfast & lunch only) Check out local residences, many historic homes- one who has a bird feeder where PAG's wild parakeet congregation refuels. Inn On Beach is recommended, we will stay again, booking 2nd floor room with king and deck overlooking the ovean- next time.

We had a great few days at Inn on the Beach. The staff made sure we had everything we needed daily. They even went the extra mile and mailed my husband’s phone to our home when he didn’t realize he had forgotten it until we were at the airport! We will definitely be back!

We stayed in 'sunset' room for the weekend, it was fantastic. Tina is great, asked us if we needed anything every chance she got. They put out a continental breakfast with the best high end pastries, so good. Will definitely go back to visit.

We just got home from a quick 3-day trip to Pass-a-Grille and the Inn on the Beach and I already want to go back. Perfectly located, cute, cozy, clean, beachy – and outfitted with absolutely everything you might need and nothing you don’t. Borrow one of the Inn’s beach cruisers to explore the shops and restaurants on the island; or fill up the cooler that is thoughtfully provided, grab the beach towels, and collect chairs and an umbrella from the courtyard for the quick trip across the street to set up camp for the day on a beautiful stretch of beach. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but you won’t spend much time there except to take an afternoon nap when you need a break from the sun. Tina is wonderful – she goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and happy – and they really did anticipate just about every need that might arise. Stop reading this review right now and book your room – you can’t go wrong.
