Reviews
The Havana Inn is highly praised for its unbeatable location across the street from the beach and close proximity to restaurants. Guests appreciate the cleanliness and friendly staff, but some find the rooms and bathrooms too small for comfort.

I enjoy a cup of decaf coffee in the morning. There was no decaf coffee. Nor was there any sugar substitute. I would’ve liked to have had a measuring cup. Also parking situation was very good. You get free parking on the streetparking all around Pasa Grill. No one responded to my telephone request for decaf coffee. Nice room with an easy walking distance of local bars and restaurants.

Great little studio cottage! We lived it!

The location, communication with a management company Outdated facility. Not enough kitchen dishes, kitchenware, dull knives. Half working electric range. No TV cable. Slow Internet. No board games, Weak shower water current, barely flashing toilets.

I loved everything about this place.

Must have hidden mold in the shower area set off my wife’s asthma. able to stay without running out and purchasing a hepa Room purifier the first night as they had no other rooms to transfer to

This was a great place to stay. Very walkable to all amenities like the beach and great restaurants. We will be staying here again! Easy check in and check out as well. The only negative to the visit was parking. There are only 3 spots in the back and they were taken during our whole stay. We parked out front of the property and got a $40 ticket (had no idea it was paid parking as there were no signs). So be prepared to pay for parking if you can't get one of the 3 spots in the back. Overall, great visit!

Our particular room was a little tight.

Perfect location! Great views, sand/beach is across the street. Restaurants, coffee shop within a block. Paradiso Grille is across the street, right in front of the beach. Can't ask for more. Staff was very helpful. Felt welcome! Will definitely visit again.

Very comfortable, right across from the beach and several restaurants and a nice patio out front! Loved the bikes and beach chairs too

Fantastic location, well appointed Very minor observation but the couch wasn’t very comfortable

The beds are so comfortable and plenty of space inside

location was perfect, quiet and secluded but also close to the beach

Parking on the street was not ideal since we arrived on Memorial day, but we were able to move the car closer that evening. The listing states "free parking" which is true, but I think it should clarify that it is in the street.

Excellent location and good space!
- 4/5
Mosquitos in room (killed 4 and put up do not disturb only to limit more coming in). Dead bugs lining the ceiling. AC too weak to keep room cool once the sunrises and would turn off randomly before we would wake up ( a ceiling unit would likely circulate better). Bed not meant for 2 people unless you want to feel everything your partners doing at night (every motion rocks the whole dang thing). I'd suggest a significant upgrade in pillows and bedframe/bed. Enjoyed our stay truthfully but left feeling like we didn't get much rest. Thank goodness we brought our own pillows.

Location right across the street from the beach. Small, but nice clean studio with small kitchen, perfect for 2. Friendly staff. Tiny bathroom, was a bit tight to move around.

Very cute apartment with excellent view of the beach! one of the beds was not comfortable
- 5/5
We have stayed at Havana several times but this is the first time in the upstairs apartment. The view is fabulous! The apartment is comfortable. The only neg is the bed in the master bedroom is sagging toward the middle. We will be back....it's our favorite place on Pass-A-Grille!

I thought the location was excellent, it's something special, facing the beach and next to all the restaurants, the place is very nice. The only thing I didn't like about the room was the shower, the water was very strong and there was no option to regulate it. Otherwise, I loved it. I went with my husband and my little daughter and it was excellent for us.

Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

Location is perfect for the beach just across the road and every night, you can enjoy spectacular sunsets. Staff were attentive, informative, and super friendly. Rooms were well equipped and spacious. This place is perfect. Honestly, nothing wring with this place. We loved everything about it.

Located in the center of Pass a Grille beach, this location is perfect! Walk across the street and your on the beach! It is close to restaurants and bars too.
- 5/5
Really nice apt, clean, 2 minutes from ocean !
- 5/5
The location to the beach is unbeatable. The property was of Floridan style. Was very well looked after. The downsides were we had to share our outside space and table with other guests which wasnt obvious when we booked and wasn't always available. I would definitely stay again but would book an upstairs room which provided it's own outside space and better sea views
- 4.5/5
Fantastic location Room had everything one would need Quiet property Only negative was that there was no " check in" there. You had to check in at their sister property, The Sabal Palms Inn. Fortunately a guest saw me wandering around and told me what to do.
- 5/5
Everything was very clean. Easy walk to beach and restaurants. Had everything we needed. Host was very responsive. Only negative was that we stayed on the second floor and it was hard to carry luggage up the steps.
- 4.5/5
Location! Some things were a little outdated in kitchen. The bed in big master was very wobbly. Needs a new box spring
- 5/5
Location cannot be beat! View of Ocean from front porch. Kitchen had everything we needed. Love the little porch area that offered additional space. Bed sheets were EXTREMELY soft. Loved them. Couch was pretty uncomfortable for my daughter. Maybe they could include a foam pad? The KING bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable.
- 5/5
Check in was easy. The beach is just across the street. We love the Havana Inn.

The location was excellent, the Inn was wonderful.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable with onsite parking. Across the street from beach and block from restaurants and shops. Additionally and unexpectedly we witnessed logger head turtles hatch and return to Gulf. Overall excellent stay
- 5/5
Beautiful view and fun location. Cozy and quint. Felt like San Diego! The perfect place to get away from the noise.
- 4/5
The check in was a little confusing but overall we had a great stay. Staff was very helpful and room was small but cute. Right on the beach so it was a perfect little getaway.
- 5/5
We liked the airness of the rooms, parking is the only concern the beach gets really crowded, all parking spaces are taken. Can't leave to run an errand an come back your parking space will be gone... have to wait to after dark to get one. Weekends are even worse. The people in the area are nice, sunsets are fantastic.
- 4/5
Very nice place. Very convenient to beach and restaurants. Could use some new beach umbrellas and chairs, but would still recommend anyone to stay here. Owners were very pleasant to deal with.
- 5/5
Everything was great, the location can't be beat and the staff is the most friendly. we had a great weekend in Pass-a-Grille Beach.
- 5/5
This is my first time staying at the Havana Inn, but it won't be my last! I took a quiet weekend away by myself and stayed in the "Little Cottage" Unit 5. It was perfect for one person; would be a little tight for two. The kitchen had everything one would need, including dishes and cookware; there is also a table for eating meals. I chose to ignore these amenities as I was on vacation and enjoyed the nearby restaurants! There is a beautiful courtyard in front with seating under a large umbrella and a grill for guest use. The location is perfect for a beach getaway; it is half a block from the beach access and they offer their guests chairs, etc. to use at the beach. There are are also bicycles available free to the guests so they can explore the Pass-a-Grille area. The Inn is within a short walk of several restaurants and shops. You can literally park your car for the entirety of your stay and still be handy to everything you'll need to have a relaxing vacation.
- 5/5
The Havana Inn is truly a hidden gem in the Pass-a-Grille area. We stayed in the Tiny Cottage for a long weekend and we had everything we needed for the room, including kitchen supplies, plenty of linens, and even a hair dryer. The amenities were great: free bike usage, free beach chairs and umbrellas, and the staff was so friendly.

Unfortunately, we arrived during a storm and check-in is located in a building across the street. We had to walk back and forth twice in the downpour. Our clothes were soaked and muddy by the time we got in our room. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. However, to say the room is too small is an understatement. The bed is pushed against one wall and you have to duck under/around the television sticking out of the wall to get in the bed. An average size adult has to sit sideways on the toilet so your knees do not hit the sink. You can tell that some of the room was recently renovated, but not all. It has a kitchenette, table and chairs and dresser in it. Though I can appreciate what they tried to do, it is much too small of a space for all they have in it. There are some that may enjoy the quaintness of this particular room, but it should come with a disclaimer and be priced accordingly. That being said, we were in room #5 and it was detached from the main building. The other rooms appeared to be significantly larger. The location is great, staff is friendly and the hotel provides wonderful amenities such as bikes and a grill. Despite our experience, I would recommend staying here as long as it is not room #5.
